TRIUMPHING OVER THE EFFECT OF LIVING IN THE FLESH [THE FIVE SENSES]: THE LUST OF THE FLESH – THE LUST OF THE EYES – AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE! 

“From whence come WARS and FIGHTINGS among you? come they not hence, even of your LUSTS that WAR in your MEMBERS? 2 Ye LUST, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may CONSUME it upon your LUSTS” James 4:1-3. 

Knowingly or unknowingly, TRIUMPH and TRIUMPHING is a default DONE DEED for every believing child of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. However, its operation in the Believer’s life depends on the individual to make it happen within the pure context of the given redemption rights and privileges, and not elsewhere.  

“Now thanks be unto God, WHICH ALWAYS CAUSETH US TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST, and maketh manifest the SAVOUR of his knowledge by us in EVERY PLACE” 2 Corinthians 2:24. 

And Scripture wants every Believer in Christ Jesus to LIVE and WALK in the SPIRIT of TRIUMPH, so that they can mortify [crucify] – that’s to put to death – the lusts and affections of the FLESH – the FIVE SENSES [SEE, HEAR, TASTE, SMELL, TOUCH/FEEL]. Otherwise, there will be wars and infighting within oneself due to wanting desires born through cravings of a lustful spirit not ruled, governed, controlled, and led by the TRIUMPH Spirit of dominion. 

“This I say then, WALK in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh . . . 24 And they that are Christ’s have CRUCIFIED the flesh with the AFFECTIONS and LUSTS. 25 If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:16, 24-25.

The scriptural context indicates we need to live within the sphere of the Holy Spirit’s leads and guides, and by the context of God’s WORD, through our human spirit [Proverbs 20:27; Job 32:8; Job 33:4; Genesis 2:7]. This makes one a spirit or spiritual being – a sphere to live TRIUMPHANTLY, far above just being human, but as a supernatural being. The human spirit empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit indicates the Super Spirit of God meets the natural [human] spirit – making the SUPERNATURAL. 

You are created as a BEING. There’s no vacuum to reach out to God, be in God, or be with God in the Kingdom cause to exercise your place as a BEING of God. God operates through His WORD, and not in a vacuum.  You can’t do astral travel or astral projection with God as some may – doing so, you only contact demons, not the God of REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus. FAITH in God is the mystery of COMMUNICATION to God through His WORD as a BEING – that’s the only possible channel to exercise the sphere of a BEING. FAITH is the results from HEARING the WORD of God. Through FAITH communication, we ensure the assured redemption deed of Christ Jesus in us. 

“So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God” Romans 10:17. 

“Holding the MYSTERY of the FAITH in a PURE conscience” 1 Timothy 3:9. 

“That the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6. 

So, there’s a need to FELLOWSHIP with God to enhance the RELATIONSHIP with God, because in God, there’s no place for a VACUUM. This indicates that you can’t commune with God outside His WORD; otherwise, satanic interference occurs – demons occupy vacuum hearts not filled with God’s word [Matthew 12:43-45].  Communing with God is about LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit – which is your human spirit – and in the truth – [the Word of God] 

“When the UNCLEAN SPIRIT is gone out of a man, he WALKETH through DRY PLACES, SEEKING REST, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it EMPTY, SWEPT, and GARNISHED. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more WICKED than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the LAST state of that man is WORSE than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation” Matthew 12:43-45. 

“The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the placOUmen ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” John 4:19-24. 

The consequential problems of living outside the sphere of the Spirit’s leads and guides, is living and walking in the FLESH – in the sphere of FIVE SENSES which are these: 

  • HEAR/HEARING 
  • SEE/SEEING 
  • TASTE/TASTING 
  • SMELL/SMELLING 
  • FEEL/TOUCH [FEELING/TOUCHING] 

Sadly, there are EFFECTS of living in the sphere of the FLESH – FIVE SENSE. These EFFECTS are as written and experienced in the Scriptures which are of these [Genesis 3:1-6; Luke 4:1-13; 1 John 2:15-17]: 

  • The LUST of the EYES 
  • The LUST of the FLESH 
  • The PRIDE of LIFE 

These EFFECTS showed up with Mrs. Eve and Mr. Adam at EDEN, where they fell out in Faith [God’s WORD] with God. [Genesis 3:1-7]. 

These EFFECTS showed up again before Jesus during His Holy Spirit -led fasting and praying at the TEMPTATION mountain. Satan was DEFEATED with his flesh [fleshy] Introductory scheme by the WORD of God that Christ Jesus utilised by Holy Spirit’s lead. [Luke 4:1-13]. 

Sadly, these EFFECTS are still at work, with satan and cohorts looking for who will fall to its sword [1 Peter 5:8-9]. Will you let it take root in you like many have? I hope not. 

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the LUST of the FLESH, and the LUST of the EYES, and the PRIDE of LIFE, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” 1 John 2:15-17. 

“Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY the DEVIL, as a ROARING lion, WALKETH about, SEEKING whom he may DEVOUR: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you” 1 Peter 5:8-10. 

Unlike Eve and Adam, Jesus TRIUMPHED over these five senses EFFECTS by the simple statement – “IT IS WRITTEN”. Meaning, The WORD TRIUMPHs, and NO WORD means NO TRIUMPH but DEFEAT, FAILURES, and REGRETS; and anything outside the WORD is Magic, Sorcery, Traditional belief, dogmas, falsehoods, adulteration, Man-made make-belief’s, denominational indoctrination, by-law and creeds, and such like. 

Therefore, lets TRIUMPH, by LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit through the WORD of God, that we might not fulfill the DESIRES, DEEDS, and EFFECTS of the FLESH through lust.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

SUMMARY: 

The message emphasises living a triumphant life in Christ Jesus by walking in the Spirit and not fulfilling the desires of the flesh. It highlights the importance of fellowship with God through His Word, and how Satan seeks to exploit vacuum hearts not filled with God’s Word. The five senses (SEE, HEAR, TASTE, SMELL, TOUCH/FEEL) can lead to lust, wars, and infighting within oneself if not governed by the Spirit. 

Key points include: 

  • Jesus triumphed over temptation using “IT IS WRITTEN” (Luke 4:1-13) 
  • Believers are created as BEINGS, not to be in a vacuum, but to operate in God’s Word  
  • FAITH comes from hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17)

THE PROPHET AND THE PROPHECY

THE PROPHET AND THE PROPHECY: ANY PROPHECY MUST CONNOTE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS! 

“And I fell at his feet to WORSHIP him. And he said unto me, See thou DO IT NOT: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the TESTIMONY OF JESUS: WORSHIP God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10. 

It’s time to wake up from your SLUMBERING and WANDERING desire to be seeking for a PROPHECY instead of seeking the Lord God of PROPHECY in Christ Jesus stead. And ENOUGH of that FOOLISHNESS, IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY. 

You must come to know that no matter who DARES speak into your life – MAN OR ANGEL – any so-CALLED PROPHECY or PROPHETIC MESSAGE MUST CONNOTE THE TESTIMONY of JESUS in your Life. Such message must of necessity align with these principles of grace: What Christ has DONE, What He is DOING in you, and what He will do THROUGH you in His WORD and His LOVE, by the blessed HOLY SPIRIT that’s given and living within you in the grace. 

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us” Romans 5:5/NKJV. 

The Testimony of God in Christ Jesus is the only authentic, vital, and legal deed of God, wherein you have a better and done ACCESS, PROMISES, COVENANT, RELATIONSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, and such like in the grace. And that’s HOW TO MEASURE and DISCERN the TRUE and GENUINE spirit of PROPHECY. For the message of prophecy and prophetic message is to EDIFY, EXHORT, and COMFORT. 

“But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue EDIFIETH himself; but he that PROPHESIETH EDIFIETH the church” 1 Corinthians 14:3-4. 

Anything that contradicts the Holy Writ of 1 Corinthians 14:3-5, especially attracting FEAR and THREATENING in any form, is false – no matter who speaks or is speaking. For God is not the author of confusion. God wants you to be a Victor, not a victim. Let no one take you for granted, especially in your vulnerable moment. It’s not about the NOISE, but the WORD of God in graciousness and gracefulness in His BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER gospel: 7 which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would PERVERT the gospel of Christ. 8 But though WE, OR AN ANGEL from heaven, PREACH (PROPHESY) any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be ACCURSED. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man PREACH [PROPHESY] any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be ACCURSED” Galatians 1:6-9/Emphasis Mine. 

The Holy Scripture is graciously clear about the spirit of PROPHECY for the New Creation in Christ Jesus. It’s about the TESTIMONY of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in us. It must AFFIRM gracefully to the Holy Spirit WITHIN you by THE WORD in God’s love, and not intimidate or undermine your place in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world CANNOT receive, because it seeth him not, neither KNOWETH him: but ye KNOW him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:17. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5. 

Godly inspired PROPHECY is about TESTIFYING, AFFIRMING, DECLARING and PROCLAIMING the TESTIMONY of our FAITH in what Jesus has done, is doing, and will do in your life by THE WORD and HOLY SPIRIT, which connotes EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT. 

“But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue EDIFIETH himself; but he that PROPHESIETH EDIFIETH the church” 1 Corinthians 14:3-4. 

It thus means a GENUINE PROPHET with PROPHECY and PROPHESYING is one who graciously and gracefully ministers and speaks to people unto EDIFICATION, in order to promote their spiritual growth in wisdom, devotion, holiness, and joy of the Lord; it thus speaks also WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT to uphold and advise concerning matters of God; and it speaks WORDS OF CONSOLATION to compassionately comfort in all matters of LIFE and GODLINESS [Godly Living]. 

“Bind up the TESTIMONY, seal the LAW among my disciples .19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak not according to this WORD, it is because there is no LIGHT in them” Isaiah 8:16, 19-20. 

And in all these, it MUST be without acts of FEAR, THREAT, and GAINS. For God hasn’t given us a spirit of FEAR, THREAT, or INTIMIDATION [2 Timothy 1:7]. God’s perfect love in PROPHECY casts out every element of FEAR, TORMENT, CONFUSION, and SCHISM [1 John 4:17-18; 1 Corinthians 14:31-33; Ephesians 3:17-19]. There must be a profound SCRIPTURAL indication of genuine prophecy as in 1 Corinthians 14:2-4, that anyone can believe and must ever acclaim to possess, give, deliver, and receive from God. That’s the most gracious and graceful way to avoid and KEEP AT BAY false PROPHETS with FALSEHOODS, CUNNING, and CRAFTY PROPHECY out of your good life with their THREAT, FRIGHTENING, MADE-UP FEARS, and BONDAGES. 

May I say emphatically that genuine PROPHETS and PROPHECIES should give others the opportunity to EXAMINE, that’s to JUDGE without being judgemental to ascertain the prophecy’s alignment with God and Scripture as expected in the light of scriptures. Otherwise, such is proud, arrogant and false [1 Corinthians 14:3-5, 29-33; 1 Corinthians 2:11-16; Isaiah 8:20; Revelation 19:10]. Know today that ANYTHING contrary is FRAUD, SORCERY and WITCHCRAFT [Acts 8:9-26]. 

Are you building your life on a so-called prophet’s Prophecy? Or relying on a recorded creed Prophetic book referenced to you? Please PAUSE and THINK scripturally about it before you act on it. God’s WORD by the Holy Spirit is still actively at work today as in Bible days and for your tomorrow. God’s WORD is the only authentic, authoritative, undiluted, and unadulterated prophecy that EXAMINES any so-called prophecy from any so-called Prophet or Prophetess, for your today and tomorrow’s VICTORY and TRIUMPH, irrespective of anything whatever. [Hebrews 13:8; Hebrews 4:12-13; Acts 17:10-12; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Timothy 2:15]. 

DON’T BE DECEIVED BY ANYONE OR ANY MATERIAL – READ THE WORD AND LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR SPIRIT BEING. FOR YOU ARE YOUR OWN PROPHET FOR YOUR DEFINITION AND NOT SOMEONE ELSE.

“Beloved, BELIEVE NOT every spirit, but TRY [EXAMINE] the spirits whether they ARE of God: because many FALSE prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now ALREADY is it in the world” John 4:1-3/Emphasis Mine. 

“For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and ALL MAY BE COMFORTED. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are SUBJECT to the prophets. 33 For God is NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints . . . 36 What? came the word of God out from you? Or came it unto you only? 37 If any man THINK himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the COMMANDMENTS of the Lord. 38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 40. Let all things be done DECENTLY and in ORDER” 1 Corinthians 14:31-40.

BEING A HEARER OF THE WORD: AND A DOER OF THE WORD! 

“But be DOERS of THE WORD, and NOT HEARERS ONLY, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a HEARER OF THE WORD and NOT A DOER, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and CONTINUES in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be BLESSED in what he DOES” James 1:22-25/NKJV. 

Hearing the WORD, the living WORD of God, is a vitality in the grace. To read and study the word is to acquire knowledge, which is a necessity to every believing child of God in Christ Jesus stead; but to thrive in the grace, it comes by the hearing and doing, which is otherwise, the activation of the word of faith in the grace. And as important and gracious it is to HEAR the WORD; it’s tragic not DOING the WORD [James 1:22-25]. For a mere BELIEF in the WORD puts you in a passive position but exercising that WORD of Faith therein activates pleasing God, and that brings divine BLESSEDNESS in the grace. 

“But without FAITH it is impossible to [walk with God and] PLEASE Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] BELIEVE that God exists and that He REWARDS those who [EARNESTLY and DILIGENTLY] seek Him” Hebrews 11:6/Amplified. 

When God’s WORD is BELIEVED as a consequence of Hearing the WORD of Faith, and then acted upon by FAITH with diligence, God is then obligated to honour His magnified WORD to reward as HE’S being pleased accordingly in the grace. For the WORD of Faith that pleases God comes by hearing and CONTINUOUS HEARING of the WORD. And continuous hearing is an act of diligence – being smartly consistently consistent in the grace.  

“I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have EXALTED above all else Your NAME and Your WORD and You have MAGNIFIED Your WORD above all Your name” Psalms 138:2/AMPCE. 

“So then FAITH comes by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God” Romans 10:17/NKJV. 

To earn God’s BLESSEDNESS indeed in the grace, being a DOER of the WORD of FAITH is what makes the possibility and reality of the hearing of Faith. Anything otherwise results in a questionable act of belief, like Apostle Paul demanded from the Galatians Believers who drifted into inconsistency in their faith in the grace. There’s a DOING to accompany the continuous HEARING OF THE WORD OF FAITH in the grace; otherwise, adulteration, distortion, and perversion will set in over time, leading to giving one’s listening heart to unscriptural, subtle falsehood.  

“O FOOLISH Galatians! Who has BEWITCHED you that you should NOT OBEY THE TRUTH, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by THE HEARING OF FAITH? . . . 5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He DO it by the works of the law, or by THE HEARING OF FAITH?” Galatians 3:1-9/NKJV.  

God is good and faithful, true and sure. His acts of faithfulness rewards diligence. Hence, there’s the need to be steadfast in keeping to the word of faith and in patience to earn and access the promises of God in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Being continuously diligent to the end, not half of the way or part of the way, but full assurance of hope to the end brings about ensuring and assuring the fulness of God’s promise BLESSEDNESS in life and grace.  

“But, beloved, we are CONFIDENT of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is NOT UNJUST [UNRIGHTEOUS, UNFAITHFUL] to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same DILIGENCE to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become SLUGGISH [SLOTFUL], but IMITATE [FOLLOWER] those who through FAITH and PATIENCE inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:10-12/NKJV/EMPHASIS MINE.  

It’s my earnest prayer that you take the health of your spiritual wellbeing seriously by ensuring and assuring that the HEARING OF THE WORD OF FAITH is accompanied by the DOING, in order to keep the alertness in the grace undistorted and adulterated. For the faith that OVERCOMES the world comes by THE HEARING and THE HEARING OF THE WORD in the grace. 

“For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES THE WORLD. And this is the VICTORY that has OVERCOME THE WORLD —OUR FAITH. 5 Who is he who OVERCOMES THE WORLD, but he who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5. 

“But what does it say? “The WORD is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, THE WORD OF FAITH which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation . . . 17 So then faith comes by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God” Romans 10:8-10, 17/NKJV. 

I pray that you will be blessed in the grace as you hear the WORD of Faith and do the doing of faith in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

THE HEARING OF THE WORD: THE NEED TO BE QUICK TO HEAR AND SLOW TO SPEAK! 

“Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be QUICK TO HEAR [be a careful, thoughtful listener], SLOW TO SPEAK [a speaker of carefully CHOSEN WORDS and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving]” James 1:19 [17-25] /Amplified. 

In a world today experiencing unimaginable misinformation, adulteration, falsehoods, and misdirection from the truth, it’s a wake-up call to every gatekeeper of the truth, to wake up with the truth than being a spectator with a nonchalant attitude until the depraved state becomes irreparable. 

Only by hearing and speaking forth the word of truth can we fiercely confront and steadfastly resist the menace and garbage around us, before what’s called “alternative truth” – which is just misinformation, adulteration and falsehoods takes over.  

We can’t just be observers while disrupted minds affect and tear down the foundation of our human values and dignity. We need to step up and safeguard the wellbeing of individuals, families, communities, societies – everything.  

In a proximity near you, you see and observe the gradual decay in some leaders and their followers, in Churches, governments, Communities, Businesses – right in front of you. You don’t need anyone to wake you up; be intentional and pragmatic about it, or you will become a prey to the consequences. 

And worse still, is the temptation to play it safe and not step up. Instead, we should be partakers, channels, carriers, and heralds of the truth – stopping the toxicity and toxic misinformation spreading like cancer in our worlds. Let’s live godly in the grace, for the good of self and all. 

We need to FLEE from every appearance of misinformation, adulteration and falsehoods fashioning around us. Being RESOLVED to be the change, the default, that’s what our messed-up world needs – away from the evils and wickedness caused by fashionable falsehoods, misinformation, disinformation and adulteration. 

“But TEST ALL THINGS carefully [so you can recognize what is good]. HOLD FIRMLY to that which is good. 22 ABSTAIN FROM EVERY FORM OF EVIL [withdraw and keep away from it]” 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22/Amplified. 

The Holy writ is giving you and I the charge in the Bible book of James 1: 19 of the need to be QUICK TO HEAR, meaning to be a careful, thoughtful listener and to be SLOW TO SPEAK. Meaning a speaker of carefully chosen words, otherwise you will become a part of those heralding the fashionable lies of today, that have created, resulted and generated evil and wickedness in our world today. Don’t you see the fears, deceptions and mistrust around you? 

Looking closely within your family, community and society around you, you will see the evils, wickedness and destructions that are emanating and resulting because of the falsehoods, misinformation, and adulteration that’s at a swift spread. And in many cases, it has wrecked families and communities, and has destroyed the fabric of trust, honesty, decency and truth that was the strength and anchor for a very healthy living environment we all hold dearly and healthily. 

And with this age of social media and content creation for the purpose of getting views to monetisation, you don’t need anyone to tell or inform you of the diversity, gravity and heaviness of the lies and perversion that have grown around us and our world; and these uncontrollable dissimilation of falsehoods and lies have filled the media space, and the average Christian is being deceived, leading to relationship breakdown, family issues, business mistrust, Church distrust, unstable governance – and it becomes the order of the day. 

“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall DECEIVE many. 6 And ye shall HEAR OF WARS AND RUMOURS OF WARS: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7. For NATION SHALL RISE AGAINST NATION, and KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM: and there shall be FAMINES, and PESTILENCES, and EARTHQUAKES, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall KILL you: and ye shall be HATED of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because INIQUITY SHALL ABOUND, THE LOVE OF MANY SHALL WAX COLD. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this GOSPEL of the kingdom shall be PREACHED in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come . . . 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall DECEIVE THE VERY ELECT” Matthew 24:5-14, 24 KJV. 

I just want you to know and understand that, in the midst of these deprave state of our worlds and society, God’s expectation for the Believers of God in Christ Jesus, is to be SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE. To herald the GOSPEL GOOD NEWS that transforms and not to be entangled with what you have no personal revelation of God about it that can lead you or your HEARERS to a place of godly transformation. Only the hearing from God of His word that brings about the information that’s transformative for the good and goodness of all. And this is only possible when you are resolved and determined, to ensure that your default in the grace is to be THE HEARING OF THE WORD, in order to fashion and define you in doing life and living godly in the grace. And this happens when you INTENTIONALLY RESOLVE to be “QUICK TO HEAR” AND “SLOW TO SPEAK FORTH”, knowing that words matter, and the effects matter and have consequences. For speaking forth, good and goodness come by hearing healthily. IT’S TIME TO HERALD THE GOOD BY HEARING THE GOOD IN LOVE FOR YOU AND OTHERS BY THE WORD OF GOD. 

“But, SPEAKING [HERALDING] THE TRUTH IN LOVE, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the EDIFYING of itself in love” Ephesians 4:15-16/NKJV. 

“My son, GIVE ATTENTION TO MY WORDS; INCLINE YOUR EAR TO MY SAYINGS. 21. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life” Proverbs 4:20-23/NKJV. 

It’s time beloved of God in Christ Jesus to become a DOER OF THE WORD by HEARING THE WORD that can make a difference in you and through you to give hope to your world and our world of doing life and living godly in the grace. You must resolve to hear rightly and healthily for you to do life without compromise, sentiments, prejudice, and dissimulation. That’s how to keep at bay evil, wickedness and deception from you and those around you. 

“Therefore LAY ASIDE ALL filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the IMPLANTED WORD, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be DOERS OF THE WORD, and NOT HEARERS ONLY, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be BLESSED in what he does” James 1:21-25/NKJV. 

Today, be resolved, be intentional and pragmatic to be SWIFT, that’s to be QUICK to hear, QUICK to perceive, QUICK to understand by being smart, clever, sensitive, alert, vigilant, alive, actively engaged and engaging to decipher and filter lies, misinformation, adulteration and falsehoods in order to herald the truth that can set you and your audience free from the cancerous monsters that’s destroying our world with warmongers in our families, communities, societies and world’s today.  

Resolve to HERALD what builds for the good of all and not what destroys others because of gains, selfishness, greed and covetousness resulting to wickedness and evil that breakdown families, communities, societies and the world around us.

ACCESSING GOD’S BLESSEDNESS

ACCESSING GOD’S BLESSEDNESS: IT’S BY MINISTERING HIS WORD TO HIM! 

Ministering God’s WORD back to Him, gives one the enabling ACCESS to RECEIVE His graciousness and gracefulness in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus. When we intentionally and unreservedly MINISTER to the LORD by His WORD in an act of worship and services and in fasting and prayers, He will SPEAK back to us without reservation at the point of our needs. I can tell you that again and again in person even as it’s written also in this context: 

“Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2. As they MINISTERED to the Lord, and FASTED, the Holy Ghost SAID, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away” Acts 13:1-3. 

Do you really want to stop wondering and wandering around and about on that matter that keeps you awake at night and gazing at the ceiling – I mean that matter making you to sob all day long and bothering you with nightmares? Then get CONNECTED and SYNCHRONISE to God’s WORD and BE HEALED and MADE WHOLE indeed – 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12-14. 

There’s an awesomeness in ministering God’s WORD back to Him, in order to receive His graciousness and gracefulness in all matters of doing life and godly living. The utmost PRAYERS is by standing in the righteousness consciousness of God’s enabling grace in Christ Jesus and ministering His WORD to Him accordingly in context. God is in bond with His WORD and that keeps Him fueled to act on your behalf by ordering the ministering Angels to act on our behalf by the WORD. 

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that DO his commandments, HEARKENING unto THE VOICE OF HIS WORD” Psalms 103:20 (Hebrews 1:7, 14). 

His WORD is His BOND and will both heal and get you delivered from the bondage of ignorance and every form of destruction to your gracious life. Simply because God’s WORD is Christ Jesus Himself, made manifest and being revealed for your wellbeing today, tomorrow and ever more – Hebrews 13:8. 

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7 (John 1:1-5, 14). 

THE WORD of God is GIVEN to us to BE what Christ Jesus would have BEEN to you NOW as if being physically present. Until you see it in that light, it will all be an illusion to comprehend. Hence the essence of THE WORD, not just WORD but THE WORD as in John 1:1-5, 14 and 1 John 5:7, which speaks of THE PERSON of Christ Jesus. He’s THE WORD, not just WORD. Until that personification is appropriated into our spirit being – actualisation of God’s promises are just illusion. And FAITH will be inoperative to PLEASE God as should be, in order to RECEIVE the needed ANSWERS from Him in all matters of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead – Hebrews 11:6; 1 John 5:3-5. 

And I want you to know also, that as in the above statement of – THE WORD and not just WORD – is the same concept of the person of Christ Jesus as – THE WAY, not A WAY, THE TRUTH, not A TRUTH and THE LIFE and not A LIFE, as it thus indicate in John 14:6. The essence of the article “THE” indicates a person or personality, hence not the article “A” as to attribute to Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus. 

Therefore, begin your NOW – NEW DAWN – with THE WORD by Ministering back to God – His WORD, which is – THE WORD, personified in Christ Jesus stead as it concerns you and who you’ve become in Him by redemption deed. Amen. 

Only THE WORD sets FREE; His WORD, Jesus, is THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE – to God’s Heart for all human thirst and hunger in the world. Amen.

 MONTH MARCH: THE MONTH TO “PREACH THE WORD!” IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD.  

I graciously WELCOME you to month MARCH. It’s the ensuring and assuring month to 

“PREACH THE WORD!” [In season and out of season] in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. I therefore admonish you to ensure that you assure your faith in God by PREACHING THE WORD only. 

It’s high time we PREACH THE WORD and THE WORD ONLY and it’s irrespective; and higher time we stop preaching religion, denomination, creed or sectarianism, person’s, status, titles and all forms of self-gratifications and self-centeredness by all means in sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation. It’s high time to ensure that you PREACH THE WORD to assure in Christ Jesus to all, in love and of goodwill, and not in envy, strife, contention, pretence, and such like that have degraded, adulterated, distorted and counterfeited the efficacious power of the WORD [saying] of God in doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

“Some indeed PREACH Christ even of ENVY and STRIFE; and some also of GOOD WILL: 16 the one PREACH Christ of CONTENTION, NOT SINCERELY, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: 17 but the other of LOVE, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in PRETENCE, or in TRUTH, Christ is PREACHED; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice” Philippians 1:15-18. 

For JESUS IS THE WORD, and THE WORD is Him personified, and Him only is message to be PREACHED for now, today and tomorrow. [Hebrews 13:8; John 1:1-5, 1; 1 John 5:7]. 

Know this: the New Creation isn’t asked to PREACH EVEN THE BIBLE, because it’s not only God speaking in it. In the Bible, others speak – Satan and his cohorts speak, false prophets, false teachers, false apostles, and the like speak. And they’re still speaking today. And several other people are yet speaking in the Bible, hence we are asked to wake up and contend for the faith steadfastly by all means [Jude 1:3-4; 1 Peter 5:8-11; Galatians 1:6-9]. 

The Bible is Holy and the content are Holy written and purely documented in Holy context irrespective of who was and is speaking in the Bible. It thus means that the Bible being a Holy Book doesn’t mean that every content in there is Holy because unholy people, spoke in it too, not God only. But God ensures in other to assure that He used Holy men to ensure the records are pure and accurate as it’s written without distortion and adulteration irrespective of who was speaking [2 Peter 1:19-21]. 

It thus means and indicates that it’s not just God that’s speaking to human life’s in the Bible as we do see happening live before us today, I’m vibing with the reality of it all, day to day; but it’s only what God speaks that you should give your ears to the hearing otherwise counterfeit, distortion and adulteration and such like will permeates and filter through into your being, thereby missing God. So, hear God’s WORD [SAYINGS] only and PREACH THE WORD only and act on God’s WORD only for your wholly health and well-being in Christ Jesus stead [Proverbs 4:20-23; 2 Timothy 4:2; Luke 5:4-6; Psalms 107:20; Psalms 103:20]  

Let’s therefore arise and go forth in an onward and upward trajectory to PREACH THE WORD.

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 PREACH THE WORD; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry” 2 Timothy 4:1-5.

RECEIVE THE ENGRAFTED [IMPLANTED] WORD WITH THE SPIRIT OF LOVE: IT WILL SAVE YOUR SOUL FROM EVERY RELIGIOUS MENACE! 

“For the [true] LOVE of God is this: that we DO His commands [keep His ordinances and are MINDFUL of His precepts and teaching]. And these ORDERS of His are not irksome [burdensome, oppressive, taskmaster, slavery or grievous]” 1 John 5:3/Amplified Classic Edition. 

Do you want to be FREE from societal and religious menace to become a DOER of the WORD, and be BLESSED [EMPOWERED] in your deed? Then, RECEIVE the ENGRAFTED – IMPLANTED WORD of God in the spirit of His LOVE. Otherwise, it will be a burden and taskmaster to you, in doing life and living godly in the grace. For I know that RECEIVING the WORD in LOVE will transform you in the grace from being mistaken and living erroneously.  

“Jesus answered and said to them, “You are MISTAKEN [ERRONEOUS], not KNOWING the SCRIPTURES [THE WORD] nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29/NKJV. 

There’s the need to be intentional and resolved in order to RECEIVE the ENGRAFTED [IMPLANTED] WORD of God into your heart, your spirit-man being, because I know it’s all that makes a difference in your world in the grace to be HEALED – being made WHOLE, and to be SAVED from all forms of DESTRUCTION; and to be a DOER of God’s WORD and enjoying the BLESSED [EMPOWERED] life in your work; and to succeed and be fulfilled in life and grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

If you’ve struggled to embrace God’s engrafted [implanted] WORD, now is the time to switch to a new default to RECEIVE it, it’s the default that’s EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit of Love, who is the Teacher, Interpreter and Translator and ever present Author of the WORD whenever you turn into it. [Romans 5:5; Romans 8:8-11; John 14:16-17, 26]. And much more, the Holy Spirit as your default, will enable you live and walk in the WORD effortlessly in the grace in faith in love. 

“For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the HOPE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but FAITH WORKING THROUGH LOVE . . . 13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but THROUGH LOVE SERVE one another . . . 16 I say then: WALK in the Spirit, and you shall NOT FULFILL the lust of the FLESH [BODILY-RULED SENSES] . . . 25 If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also Walk in the Spirit” Galatians 5:5-6, 13, 16, 25. 

Beloved reader, know for sure, that it’s more BLESSED to RECEIVE God’s engrafted Word in our hearts by the Holy Spirit of Love, as it thus empowers one to be a DOER of the WORD with ease in the grace.

IT IS WRITTEN – THE FAITH THAT WORKS

IT IS WRITTEN – THE FAITH THAT WORKS: THE POWER OF THE WRITTEN WORD! 

I love photos or pictorial info. I love video info. But the Written Info, surpassed them all in my worlds of grace and life. It takes the WRITTEN WORD to create the potential PICTURED WORD to BECOME the Motion and Kinetic VIDEO WORD. It’s simply for this knowing and Understanding: 

  • FAITH to do life with God comes by HEARING, the HEARING of the WORD of God – Romans 10:17. FAITH does not come by HAVING HEARD, but by the HEARING – present tense continuous. However, to be APPROVED of God of that FAITH, it comes by STUDYING the WRITTEN WORD of God. 
  • The acts to study and of studying requires READING, MEDITATING, which is PONDERING THROUGH the WRITTEN WORD and AFFIRMING the WRITTEN WORD in our human spirit by the Holy Spirit until it takes hold of one’s total being. 
  • And as one begins to make a declaration, that is – testifying or proclaiming or announcing or professing and confessing of the affirmed WORD in our human spirit by the Holy Spirit, we create the atmosphere and realms of the worlds of God, which we enjoy in our REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

Hence, it’s at the WRITTEN WORD that the consciousness of the Living WORD which is the Revealed WORD comes, and through STUDY, it’s developed and transformed into the Incarnate WORD – The WORD that BECOMES FLESH, that’s, the reality, the tangible and the truth in real life terms, for one to enjoy in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

Remember this, that Jesus in humanity said – “IT IS WRITTEN” (Matthew 4:1-11), and He did not say – “IT IS PICTORIAL or VIDEO FORMAT” to enable Him or any, put the enemy the Devil and cohorts at bay. It’s simply for the implication of the POWER of the WRITTEN WORD to other means of application to life communications which I don’t undermine at all. 

Therefore, don’t take the WRITTEN WORD for granted, simply because of the Picture, pictorial and Video format of the multimedia worlds; and if the WORD of God must be INCARNATE – a reality and tangible, in your life through FAITH, the WRITTEN WORD is the ANSWER. 

I am glad today for the AFD FEBRUARY EDITION, it’s out to feed on healthily as it’s entitled: THE FAITH THAT WORKS!

DECADE IN PICTURE – DECADE2020S

DECADE IN PICTURE – DECADE2020S: DECADE OF BEING SIGNIFICANT! 

“To THE LAW and to THE TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT in them” Isaiah 8:20. 

The 2020 DECADE is – A DECADE of BEING SIGNIFICANT and of SIGNIFICANCE. That’s to say it’s a DECADE of being made SIGNIFICANT and experiencing SIGNIFICANCE – only and always by The LIVING ROD – which is Jesus, the Christ, who then and always is The LIVING WORD. Amen. 

“And Moses answered and said, But behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee. 2 And the Lord said unto him, WHAT IS THAT IN THINE HAND?” AND HE SAID, A ROD . . . 17 AND THOU SHALT TAKE THIS ROD IN THINE HAND, WHEREWITH THOU SHALT DO SIGNS” Exodus 4:1-2, 17. 

It thus means that a NO WORD – means NO SIGNIFICANCE to experience. For the SIGNS – SIGNIFICANCE comes based on The WORD. God will ONLY and ALWAYS Confirm – The WORD. 

“And he said unto them, Go Ye Into All The World, AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 AND THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God. 20 AND THEY WENT FORTH, AND PREACHED EVERY WHERE, THE LORD WORKING WITH THEM, AND CONFIRMING THE WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING. THEREFORE, STAY ON THE WORD ONLY AND ALWAYS – AND NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS AND NOTHING ELSE.  

“And by the HANDS OF THE APOSTLES WERE MANY SIGNS AND WONDERS WROUGHT AMONG THE PEOPLE; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch” Acts 5:12.

And God’s angelic ministering spirits, that are sent forth now and always to minister for us, who are heirs of God’s salvation, are only functional by the WORD. It thus means, their acts to do and carry out significant results on our behalf is only and always within the cause and course of the principle of God’s WORD. They don’t harken to noise and sentiment and prejudice and dissimulation – but harken only and always to God’s WORD.  

“And of the ANGELS he saith, Who maketh his ANGELS spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire . . . 14 Are they not all MINISTERING spirits, SENT FORTH to MINISTER for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:7, 14. 

“BLESS the Lord, ye HIS ANGELS, that excel in strength, that DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, HEARKENING unto THE VOICE OF HIS WORD” Psalms 103:20. 

God’s intent in decade 2020 to make significant things and do significance through us, by us and for us is all within His WORD – only and always. Therefore, go for the WORD and live by the WORD and experience God by the WORD and become significant by the WORD.

POSSIBILITIES OF BEING SIGNIFICANT: LET IT BE BY THE LIVING ROD – THE LIVING WORD! 

The POSSIBILITIES of being made SIGNIFICANT by the LIVING ROD is in Jesus Christ, who then is the LIVING WORD. Amen. 

MEANING NO WORD – NO SIGNIFICANCE and NO POSSIBILITIES. For the acts of doing and being Signs – which are acts of being SIGNIFICANT, come by THE WORD. And God will HONOUR and CONFIRM ONLY The WORD as we BELIEVE and act accordingly upon it in FAITH. 

“And Moses answered and said, but behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee. 2 And the Lord said unto him, WHAT IS THAT IN THINE HAND?” AND HE SAID, A ROD . . . 17 AND THOU SHALT TAKE THIS ROD IN THINE HAND, WHEREWITH THOU SHALT DO SIGNS” Exodus 4:1-2; 17. 

Therefore, DO STAY ON THE WORD ONLY – NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS AND NOTHING ELSE – then significant possibilities become tangible and reachable and applicable in God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

I pray that you become significant by God in Christ Jesus stead, by the WORD, and POWERED by the enabling Holy Spirit of grace in life and godly living. Amen.
