LIVING AND WALKING IN LOVE!

June 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

LIVING AND WALKING IN LOVE!

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is LOVE . . . And we have known and believed the LOVE that God has for us. God is LOVE, and he who abides in LOVE abides in God, and God in him” 1 John 4:8, 16.

What’s the Definition of Love? The definition of LOVE is God. For God is Love.

When you know God, you live and walk in Love. Living and walking in LOVE is living and walking in God. For God is love. Any other definitions are makeovers, human creation and such like the more. Genuine Love is of God. Pure love is defined by God and in God.

Love is not a doctrine or creed; it’s of the Spirit, hence spiritual. If you live in love, then walk in love. And love doesn’t discriminate. It’s not sentimental, hence no room for prejudice and dissimulation. Love is active and intentional. Love knows no bounds.

Living and walking in love activates and lubricates faith to function beyond walls. For only through God’s defined love that we can serve the brethren and humanity without prejudice, sentiments, or dissimulation.

Therefore, let us love, let us live in love and walk in love. That’s how to walk in the Spirit and live in the Spirit for the New Creation of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. That’s how to avoid living and walking in the flesh and pleasing its desires, passion, lust and such like.

I declare that you receive the grace of God to live and walk in love. It’s not enough to say I have love, you need to live and walk in Love. I pray that through the month; your life will never be the same again as you live and walk in love by the Holy Spirit of Love that the Father has given us in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Be blessed in the grace.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us . . . 8 But God demonstrates His own LOVE toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8/NKJV.

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is LOVE . . . And we have known and believed the LOVE that God has for us. God is LOVE, and he who abides in LOVE abides in God, and God in him” 1 John 4:8, 16/NKJV.

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but FAITH working through LOVE . . . 13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through LOVE SERVE one another . . . 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:6, 13, 24-25/NKJV.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION; OLD things have passed away; behold, all things have become NEW” 2 Corinthians 5:17/NKJV.

“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a NEW CREATION. 16 And as many as WALK according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God” Galatians 6:14-16/NKJV.

SUMMARY:

The message is about the importance of living and walking in love, which is defined by God. It emphasises that God is love, and knowing God means living in love. This love isn’t just a feeling or doctrine; it’s spiritual, active, intentional, and knows no bounds. It contrasts with living in the flesh, which leads to prejudice, dissimulation, and sinful desires.

Key Points:

  1. God is Love: The definition of love is rooted in God’s nature. Any other definition is human creation.
  2. Living in Love = Living in God: When you know God, you live and walk in love, abiding in God.
  3. Love is Active and Intentional: Love serves others without prejudice or hypocrisy, fueled by the Holy Spirit.
  4. Walking in Love vs. Flesh: Living in love means walking in the Spirit; otherwise, you’re pleasing the flesh.
  5. New Creation in Christ: As a new creation, you’re called to live and walk in love, demonstrating God’s love to others.

Scriptural Focus:

  • 1 John 4:8, 16 (God is love)
  • Romans 5:5, 8 (God’s love poured in hearts via Holy Spirit)
  • Galatians 5:6, 13, 24-25 (faith working through love, walking in Spirit)
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 (new creation in Christ)

Call to Action:

  • Live and walk in love with the Holy Spirit.
  • Don’t just say you have love; demonstrate it.
  • Avoid living in the flesh; instead, serve others in love.

YE ARE GOD’S!

June 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

YE ARE GOD’S!  REIGN AND RULE IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD.

“It was for this FREEDOM that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be SUBJECT again to a YOKE of slavery [which you once removed]” Galatians 5:1/Amplified.

June! The Month of affirming who you ARE: “YOU ARE GOD’S! TO REIGN AND RULE” in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

The MONTH JUNE, is the sixth [6] month and the end month of the first half of the calendar year, in the Gregorian and Julian calendar Month; and it’s the 2nd of the 4th in number, of the months of thirty [30] days in the twelve [12] months annual calendar. And as in Month JUNE, the name JUNE, is also a lovely given name to the female gender of the sexes which is of great significance. For the Month JUNE as in the name JUNE, expresses in essence, the FULLNESS of life, and it’s of a profound FULFILMENT of desires and vitality.

And in this Month June, you and I will be exploring who we ARE in God in Christ Jesus. Identity crisis brought about the fall of the first living upright human creation of God, and many today are still living in the same predicament while in Christ Jesus – and you can visibly see it through the way we pray, worship, and serve, and by the way we do life and live in godliness – hence there’s the struggle with identity and to identify with Jesus wholly and live freely in the grace, without being attached to the fleshly-ruled nature that leads to further bondages. [Genesis 3:5; Galatians 5:1/Amplified].

Jesus had to deal with the religiosity and religious people of His days in humanity who were just worshippers of God but never knew to what extent they were in relationship with God. For it’s about fully sorting out our identity nature with God as New Creation, peradventure we can then begin to actualise who we ARE of God in Christ Jesus, to make our prayer life efficient and effective in the grace. [John 10:22-38; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 6:14-16].

“I and my Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” John 10:30-36.

So, June! The Month of affirming who you ARE: “YOU ARE GOD’S! TO REIGN AND RULE” in Christ Jesus’ stead. Knowing who you ARE in the grace and identifying yourself in it, will cause you to reign and rule in VICTORY, MORE THAN CONQUERORS, OVERCOMER and TRIUMPH in every place of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. But when you can’t affirm who you ARE and need someone else to do it, you are then set to be sold out cheaply, be abused, be adulterated and distorted with the falsehoods and perverts instead of the TRUTH that sets free and gives freedom unlimited. You will know you have identify problem when you choose between who you ARE to God in Christ Jesus, to whom you will be AS to God in Christ Jesus which negates you from who you ARE in redemption as these scriptures but not limited implied:

“I have said, Ye ARE gods; and all of you ARE children of the most High” Psalms 82:6.

“For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be AS gods, knowing good and evil” Genesis 3:5.

So, I say to you, do you know who you ARE in God in Christ Jesus? Are you living and walking in that freedom in the grace to reign and rule? Are you actualising who you ARE in the grace or you are embattled with religiosity and religious people of traditionalism and denominationalism with their by-laws, creeds and dogmas that makes God’s Word of no effect in your being? Are you in an identity struggle? Do know who you are in the grace wherein you stand in Christ Jesus? These and many others are what we shall be dealing with in the cause of this month June, to ensure your rights and privileges in redemption are no longer questionable by yourself or anyone else or the enemy and his cohorts. You can stand-up in the grace with head up, shoulder high and on the high heels of faith in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Therefore, rise up in the faith, by the grace, wherein you’ve been given the rights and privileges in the redemption to explore, innovate, initiate and create the atmosphere you love to behold, whereby you can reign and rule – for you ARE God’s in the earth – commissioned of God as an ambassador and a representative of the heavenly for the earthly affairs in Christ Jesus’ stead. [2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Ephesians 6:29; Proverbs 13:17]. Think about it scripturally and meditatively in the grace

Be Blessed in the grace in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHT WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.” 2. The Lord shall send the ROD of Your strength out of Zion. RULE in the midst of your enemies! 3 Your people shall be VOLUNTEERS in the day of your POWER; in the BEAUTIES of holiness, from the womb of the morning, you have the DEW of Your youth” Psalms 110:1-3/NKJV.

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I GIVE unto you POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the POWER of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven” Luke 10:17-20.

“And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and my Father are one. 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him” John 10:22-38.

“I have said, Ye ARE gods; and all of you are children of the most High” Psalms 82:6.

“For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be AS gods, knowing good and evil” Genesis 3:5.

“And they sung a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 and hast MADE us unto our God KINGS and PRIESTS: and we shall REIGN on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the FIRST BEGOTTEN OF THE DEAD, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 and hath MADE us KINGS and PRIESTS unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:5-6.

“But ye ARE a CHOSEN GENERATION, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, an HOLY NATION, a PECULIAR PEOPLE; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath CALLED you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had NOT OBTAINED mercy, but now HAVE OBTAINED mercy” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become NEW. 18 And all things ARE of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not IMPUTING their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us THE WORD OF RECONCILIATION. 20 Now then we are AMBASSADORS for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For He hath MADE Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Him” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall REIGN in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover, the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace REIGN through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 5:17-21.

SUMMARY:

The message is diving into a transformative journey of affirming your identity in Christ Jesus, breaking free from identity crises, religiosity, and limitations to step into the fullness of being God’s own, reigning and ruling in life.

Key Points:

  1. Identity in Christ: Jesus dealt with religiosity and people not knowing their true relationship with God. Knowing who you are in Christ brings freedom, reign, and rule in life.
  2. Freedom from Identity Crisis: Like Adam post-fall, many struggle with identity. But identifying with Jesus breaks bondages (like shame, fear) and lets you live freely in God’s grace as a new creation.
  3. You Are God’s: Scriptures like Psalms 82:6, John 10:30-36 show God calls believers “gods” and “children of the Most High”. You’re a NEW creation (2 Cor 5:17), made kings and priests (Rev 1:5-6, 5:9-10).
  4. Reign and Rule: You’re an ambassador of heaven (2 Cor 5:20), redeemed to reign in life (Rom 5:17-21). Grace enables you to overcome and triumph.
  5. Warning: Not affirming your identity in Christ makes you vulnerable to bondage and falsehood. But in Christ, you have power over the enemy (Luke 10:17-20).

Call to Action: Rise up in faith, explore your rights in redemption, innovate, create, and reign in life. Stand firm in the grace.

Scriptural Focus: Psalms 82:6, John 10:22-38, 2 Cor 5:17-21, Rev 1:5-6, Gal 5:1.

THERE’S NO MORE STRUGGLING IN DEFINING LOVE

May 28, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THERE’S NO MORE STRUGGLING IN DEFINING LOVE: FOR GOD IS LOVE!

“Beloved, let us LOVE one another: for LOVE is of God; and every one that LOVETH is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that LOVETH not KNOWETH not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE . . . 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in LOVE dwelleth in God, and God in HIM . . .” 1 John 4:7-21.

I ‘m graciously and gracefully glad to remind you of our New Creation way of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead. Amen – It’s the hallmark pathway called LOVE. And LOVE is God’s beautiful gift given to us all, to share and express life towards Him and mankind, without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation, – it’s irrespective of gender, culture, status, colour, tongue or religion. For LOVING is giving, and GIVING is of God – for God so LOVE that He GAVE. Love is of God. He who loves, knows God. God is the embodiment of LOVE; For LOVE is God personified in the grace. [1 John 4:8, 16 (1-21); 1 Corinthians 13:1-13]. For Love God gave – the genuine love of God is in the giving. Giving is not necessarily love, but loving in the grace involves giving like God gave us our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ; and whoever does not love is not of God in Christ Jesus’ stead.

“For God SO LOVED the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES in Him should NOT PERISH but have EVERLASTING LIFE. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” John 3:16-18/NKJV.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who DOES NOT LOVE DOES NOT KNOW God, for GOD IS LOVE . . . 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and HATES his brother, he is a liar; for he who DOES NOT LOVE his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also” 1 John 4:7-21/NKJV.

“. . . 13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who DOES NOT LOVE his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever HATES his brother is a MURDERER, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him . . .” 1 John 3:1-24/NKJV

Love is the most excellent way to covet and express spiritual gifts that gives the enabling to live and do life in every way in Christ Jesus stead. Love is the only way to express God and His goodness to others and to yourself. And as gracious and graceful FAITH is in the EFFECTUAL WALK with God, it takes LOVE as the lubricant to make FAITH functional to ensure and assure of the fellowship with God and man. Love enables faith to WORK and WALK in all likelihood of doing LIFE and GODLY LIVING.

“But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you A MORE EXCELLENT WAY” 1 Corinthians 12:31.

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE . . .13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by LOVE SERVE one another” Galatians 5:6, 13.

Are you for any reason struggling in defining the genuineness of this kind of God’s LOVE – I encourage you to just have it settled now that – God Is LOVE. Meaning, God is the DEFINITION of Love, which is shed abroad in our hearts and thoughts by the blessed Holy Spirit of grace that is given to us as our enabler. Amen. [Galatians 5:6, 13; Romans 5:5, 8, 1 John 4:8, 16; 1 Corinthians 12:31].

May you live experiencing and expressing the blessed LOVE called AGAPE – God’s kind of LOVE, the unconditional LOVE that’s POWERED by the indwelling Holy Spirit. [Romans 5:5].

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Beloved, let us LOVE one another: for LOVE is of God; and everyone that LOVETH is born of God, and knoweth God.

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE, I am nothing. 3 And though I BESTOW all my goods to FEED the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE, it profits me nothing . . . 13 And now ABIDE faith, hope, LOVE, these three; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE” 1 Corinthians13:1-13.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad in our HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . . .8 But God commendeth his LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8.

“This is my commandment, That ye LOVE one another, as I have LOVED you. 13 Greater LOVE hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” John 15:12-14.

“A NEW commandment I give unto you, That ye LOVE one another; as I have LOVED you, that ye also LOVE one another. 35 By this shall all men KNOW that ye ARE my DISCIPLES, if ye have LOVE one to another” John 13:34-35.

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE . . .13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by LOVE serve one another” Galatians 5:6, 13.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises that God is Love (1 John 4:8, 16), and this love is the hallmark of the new creation way of life in Christ Jesus. Love is God’s beautiful gift to us, enabling us to live and express life towards Him and mankind without prejudice, dissimulation, or sentiment.

Key Points

  • God is Love; Love is of God (1 John 4:8, 16).
  • Loving is giving, and giving is of God (John 3:16).

THE EFFECTIVE FAITH THAT WORKS: IT’S THE FAITH THAT SUBSTANTIATES IN HOPE!

May 27, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFECTIVE FAITH THAT WORKS: IT’S THE FAITH THAT SUBSTANTIATES IN HOPE!

“Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

The FAITH that works and that’s EFFECTUAL – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the FAITH that SUBSTANTIATES in HOPE. Hence COMMUNICATE your FAITH in HOPE.

“Let us HOLD FAST the CONFESSION OF OUR HOPE without WAVERING, for He who promised is faithful” Hebrews 10:23/NKJV.

“But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is not UNJUST [UNRIGHTEOUS, UNFAITHFUL, UNGRATEFUL] to forget your WORK and LABOR of LOVE which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the SAME DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE OF HOPE until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through FAITH and PATIENCE inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:9-12/NKJV.

And by the PATIENCE of HOPE, you can keep FAITH thriving in the midst of all odds, as you LABOUR in LOVE to SERVE in GRACE.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 3 remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, AND LABOUR OF LOVE, AND PATIENCE OF HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 4 knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. 5 FOR OUR GOSPEL CAME NOT UNTO YOU IN WORD ONLY, BUT ALSO IN POWER, AND IN THE HOLY GHOST, AND IN MUCH ASSURANCE; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake” 1 Thessalonians 1:2-5.

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God . . . 5 and HOPE maketh not ASHAMED; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” Romans 5:1-5.

“I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 hearing of thy LOVE and FAITH, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 that the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 4-6.

“Therefore it is of FAITH, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17 (as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 WHO AGAINST HOPE BELIEVED IN HOPE, THAT HE MIGHT BECOME THE FATHER OF MANY NATIONS; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 AND BEING NOT WEAK IN FAITH, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was STRONG IN FAITH, giving glory to God; 21 and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform . . .” Romans 4:16-25.

THE EFFECTIVE FAITH THAT WORKS: IT’S THE FAITH THAT WORKS THROUGH LOVE AND SERVES BY LOVE!

The FAITH that WORKS and that’s EFFECTUAL – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the FAITH that WORKS through LOVE and SERVES by LOVE.

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH

May 27, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH: THE FAITH THAT WORKS – IS BY ACTING CORRESPONDINGLY ON YOUR BELIEVE OF GOD’S WORD!

“My son, give ATTENTION to MY WORDS; INCLINE YOUR EAR TO MY SAYINGS. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life” Proverbs 4:20-23/NKJV

Faith in the WORD or the SAYINGS of God makes all the difference. FAITH is ACTING correspondingly on your BELIEVE on and in the WORD – the SAYINGS of God. FAITH is not BELIEVE and there’s no FAITH at work until you ACT on that which you BELIEVE of God. Meaning NO ACTING ON THE WORD, NO FAITH, hence NO RESULTS!

Faith is the only legal and vital tender to obtain from the Father God. Any other process or means is illegal, counterfeit and criminal. FAITH IS NOT A DOCTRINE or CREED or DOGMAS or PHILOSOPHY or TRADITION or CULTURE. It’s not an assumption or presumption. It’s ACTING on trust in God’s Word or sayings without an iota of doubt or disbelief.

If you BELIEVE and don’t ACT on it, you’ve not endorsed FAITH. If you confess or declare as religion enjoins us and you don’t act accordingly, there’s no faith and you receive not from God. You may receive from men, but not from God.

The FAITH that WORKS and that’s effectual – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the faith communicated in hope. Hence communicate your faith in hope, as it’s written:

“Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

Also, the FAITH that WORKS and that’s effectual – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the faith communicated in hope through love as it’s written:

“. . . But FAITH which WORKS by LOVE” Galatians 5:6.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 hearing of thy LOVE and FAITH, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 that the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:4-6.

“But without FAITH (acting on what you believe of God’s WORD) it is impossible to PLEASE (receive answers from) Him (God), for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6/Emphasis mine.

Further Scriptural Read – Hebrews 11:1-3; Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 14:23; Proverbs 4:20-23; 1 Corinthians 13.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises that true faith is not just a mental assent or passive belief, but an active trust in God’s Word that leads to action. It’s about acting on what you believe about God’s Word, without doubt or disbelief.

Key Points

  • Faith is acting correspondingly on your believe of God’s Word (Proverbs 4:20-23).
  • Faith is not just believing, it’s acting on what you believe (Hebrews 11:6).
  • Faith is the only legal and vital tender to obtain from God (Hebrews 11:6).
  • Faith is not a doctrine, creed, or dogma, but acting on trust in God’s Word.
  • The faith that works is communicated in hope (Hebrews 11:1) and through love (Galatians 5:6).

Scriptural Emphasis

  • References Proverbs 4:20-23, Hebrews 11:1, 6, Galatians 5:6, and Philemon 1:4-6, highlighting the importance of acting on faith, and communicating faith in hope and love.

Main Takeaways

  • Faith without action is no faith at all.
  • Acting on God’s Word is the key to receiving from God.
  • Faith is effective when communicated in hope and love.
  • True faith is a vital, active, and effectual force that produces results.

AFD JUNE 2026

June 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

WELCOME TO MONTH JUNE 2026: THE MONTH ENTITLED TO – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” – IN CHRIST JESUS!

“. . . 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” . . .” Mark 11:22 [12-14, 20-24].

“. . . 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE [BECOME] TO YOU” . . .” Matthew 9:28-29 [27-31]/NKJV.

Shalom Beloved of God! Welcome to Month June 2026!! And Kingdom greetings, in the gracious and graceful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.!!!

I graciously welcome you to Month June, the Month to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”, which is “About Becoming What You BELIEVE Of God In Christ Jesus Stead, In The Grace”. I’m praying that as you receive this writ, all things have come under your foot and control, and you are taking charge of your circumstances, to enable you do life and live godly in the grace effortlessly; and in enjoying to serve our God in Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit, by His WORD, acceptably, and worship Him worthily; and without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation, in the love, that gives us such freedom beyond words and terms, in human comprehension.

The essence of the Month June Theme – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”, is to help the believing one of God in Christ Jesus, not to have faith in an abstract, rather, to be able to have and exercise faith, in the living, good and faithful, true and sure God; just as the theme essences is “ABOUT BECOMING WHAT YOU BELIEVE OF GOD” in Christ Jesus stead in the grace.

So, what then is an ABSTRACT to begin with?

  • To consider a concept without thinking of a specific example – consider abstractly or theoretically.
  • Having a context or concept that is existing only in the mind – separated from embodiment.
  • Having a context or concept that is not representing or imitating external reality or the objects of nature.
  • Dealing with a subject in the abstract without practical purpose or intention.
  • Having a concept or idea not associated with any specific instance.
  • Having a sketchy summary of the main points of an argument or theory.

And in course of the enabling grace giving to me in many encounters of my personal relationship and fellowship with God and His precious people, I have come to know and understand that most people tend to claim to know and have a context and concept to HAVE FAITH IN GOD; but in reality, they can’t actually articulate to enact and authenticate that Faith, to enable them to practically make their knowledge and understanding, to make that Faith acclaimed, tangible in order to BECOME their reality in the faith, in the grace, in Christ Jesus stead.

Therefore, to HAVE FAITH IN GOD in context, is to have faith in His WORD in Christ Jesus for a start, by whom we are bestowed access and wholeness to His presence in fellowship to enjoy the relationship of His being, through and through, as our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, who is and was both man and God in humanity for our sake. [Hebrews 2:14-15; Acts 4:22; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 12:2; Hebrews 1:1-4].

And it’s on this foundation that we can communicate effectively – to be results-oriented and productive to every of our act of doing life and living godly in the grace. More so, we can be overcomers, triumphant, victorious and more than conquerors over the world system, that’s stirring on our faces by the act to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in Christ Jesus stead as written:

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

“For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES the world. And this is the VICTORY that has OVERCOME THE WORLD—our FAITH. [5] Who is he who OVERCOMES THE WORLD, but he who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5.

And to HAVE FAITH IN GOD, you must BELIEVE first, because BELIEVE is passive, and it’s to conceive and be pregnant with the WORD, to enable FAITH to be activated upon it. For Faith is active, hence Faith is acting correspondingly upon the believe word of God in context, in the grace accordingly.

Thus, it indicates how by Having Faith in God in Christ Jesus, God wants us to THRIVE instead of SURVIVE, and to live in His BLESSEDNESS while fulfilling His PURPOSE in us MEANINGFULLY, in all of our life endeavours, as we do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

And the best place of having the FULNESS of Life and profound FULFILMENT of desires and vitality is by engaging and following in obedience, God’s plan PATH for your life as in the holy writ of the scriptures. [Ephesians 2:10; Psalms 16:11; Proverbs 4:18-23; Colossians 4:17; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11; Philippians 2:1-18]. And you can only be able to follow the set plan of God in the grace when you “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.

It’s my earnest desires that in the course of this month writings and by other format of preaching and teaching, to expatiate in expository why you have to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” and make it tangible to your reality, instead of living in abstract in the mind while thinking that’s Faith in God in Christ Jesus stead.

Do have an awesome Month June, and BECOME as you BELIEVE of God’s WORD in context, through FAITH in acknowledging what God has done in you, doing in you and doing through you, by the WORD and the BLESSED Holy Spirit, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Blessed regards in God’s BLESSEDNESS in the grace.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING IN CONTEXT:

“Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it . . . 20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart [Human Spirit], but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, BELIEVE that you receive them, and you will have them” Mark 11:12-14, 20-24/NKJV.

“When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE [BECOME] TO YOU.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.” 31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country” Matthew 9:27-31/NKJV.

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH” Habakkuk 2:4 [Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38]/NKJV.

“But what does it say? “The WORD is near you, in your mouth and in your heart [spirit-being]” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart [spirit-being] that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart [spirit-being] one BELIEVES unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever BELIEVES on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no DISTINCTION between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is RICH TO ALL who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:8-13/NKJV.

“Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By FAITH we understand that the worlds were framed by THE WORD of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible . . . 6 But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:1-3, 6/NKJV.

“O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? 5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH?— 6 just as Abraham “BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would JUSTIFY the Gentiles by FAITH, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “IN YOU ALL THE NATIONS SHALL BE BLESSED.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham” Galatians 3:1-9/NKJV

SUMMARY:

The message welcomes readers to June 2026, themed “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”, encouraging believers to focus on having faith in a living, good, faithful, true, and sure God, rather than an abstract concept.

The Essence of the Theme

The theme is about becoming what you believe of God in Christ Jesus, in the grace. It’s about aligning with God’s nature and character, through faith in Christ Jesus. The goal is to help believers move from having faith in an abstract concept to exercising faith in a real, living God.

What is Abstract Faith?

Abstract faith is having a concept or idea without practical application or embodiment. It’s having faith in something that exists only in the mind, without tangible reality.

The Importance of Faith in God

Faith in God is not just a mental assent, but a living, active, and practical trust in God’s Word and character. It’s about believing in God’s goodness, faithfulness, and promises, and acting accordingly.

Key Scriptures

The message highlights several scriptures, including Mark 11:22, Matthew 9:28-29, and Hebrews 11:1-3, emphasising the importance of faith in God and the power of believing in God’s Word.

The Power of Believing

Believing is passive, while faith is active. When we believe, we conceive and become pregnant with God’s Word, and faith is activated to bring it to pass.

June: A Month of Fulfillment

June represents fullness of life, fulfillment of desires, and vitality. It’s a month to thrive, not just survive, and to live in God’s blessedness while fulfilling His purpose.

Call to Action

JUNE 2026 THEME – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”

June 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

JUNE 2026 THEME – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”: THE NEED TO “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“God is FAITHFUL [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into FELLOWSHIP with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9/Amplified.

To “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” is to trust in God’s faithfulness to Himself, reflecting His nature faithfulness through the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Our God is FAITHFUL – that is His NATURE. He’s a God of FAITHFULNESS – He lives within Himself – His NATURE – being FAITHFUL in FAITHFULNESS in the grace. And as such, in achieving life’s goals with God in Christ Jesus stead, it would be great for you to look at the nature of God regarding FAITHFULNESS as found of Him. And having Faith in God as a Faithful God gives the leverage in doing life and living godly in the grace. And it also encompasses God’s faithfulness to keep to His promises and covenant TO you in Christ Jesus stead, in the grace.

“FAITHFUL and ABSOLUTELY TRUSTWORTHY is He who is CALLING you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will FULFILL His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]” 1 Thessalonians 5:24/Amplified.

“Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY and FAITHFUL [to His word]” Hebrews 10:23/Amplified.

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy FAITHFULNESS to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy FAITHFULNESS shalt thou establish in the very heavens. 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy FAITHFULNESS also in the congregation of the saints . . .” Psalms 89:1-52.

There’s the need to note this importantly, that God DOES not have direct promises or covenant as some would like to proclaim WITH us; but He DOES have direct promises or covenant TO us and FOR us IN Christ Jesus stead. Meaning, that God DOES have promises and covenant WITH Jesus Christ, on our behalf in the grace. This highlights the IMPORTANCE of having FAITH IN Christ Jesus toward the Father God, from whom ALL BLESSEDNESS comes, as Christ Jesus is the embodiment of our redemption rights and privileges in the grace. So, when we talk about God’s covenants and promises, they ARE NOT DIRECTLY with us, but with Jesus, on our behalf, to us, in the grace. This understanding is key, as seen in the book of Philemon and other New Testament Scriptures, emphasising faith toward God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

“How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21/NKJV.

“But as God is FAITHFUL, our word to you was not Yes and No. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was PREACHED among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was YES. 20 For all the PROMISES of God in Him are YES, and in Him AMEN, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee” 2 Corinthians 1:18-22/NKJV.

Here are some attributes of God in His faithful nature and faithfulness; this is to enable us see the reason and gracious essence to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” as in this writ context but not limited to:

  1. God is FAITHFUL to Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13.
  2. God is FAITHFUL to His Word and promises. Hebrews 10:23.
  3. God is FAITHFUL to His relationship. 1 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 8:28-30.
  4. God is FAITHFUL to forgive. 1 John 1:9 (5-10).
  5. God is FAITHFUL in agreement. Deuteronomy 7:9.
  6. God is FAITHFUL to establish and deliver. 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
  7. God is FAITHFUL to accomplish His part in the assignment that He gives to us. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
  8. God is the/a FAITHFUL creator. 1 Peter 4:19.

God is FAITHFUL, and His FAITHFULNESS is ever sure and true as in the Holy Writ. You need to take time to search the scriptures and find God everywhere therein. So, I encourage you to kindly read the HOLY BIBLE to know more of Him, in being faithful and how to walk in faith as shown in scriptures like:

“You SEARCH the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which TESTIFY of Me” John 5:39/NKJV.

“Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29/NKJV.

“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and SEARCHED the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men” Acts 17:10-13.

One thing is certain in life and that is – LIKE BEGAT LIKE. A tree doesn’t give birth to an animal or mammal. A Lion doesn’t give birth to a Leopard, nor a Goat give birth to a Sheep even in their proximity of likeness or characteristics. And our God of godliness, wants His redeemed children of godliness to do life and live godly in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“Grace and peace be MULTIPLIED unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath GIVEN unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto LIFE and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath CALLED us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are GIVEN unto us EXCEEDING GREAT and PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:2-4.

One need to know full well that we are the offspring of God, the sheep of His pasture according to the Scriptures – [[Acts 17:24-29; Psalms 100:3; 1 John 4:17-18); (John 10:34-35; Psalms 82:6; Genesis 3:5)]. It then means that we can live a FAITHFUL life and achieve good successes with God when we dare. The other reason that we can achieve success is because we are the seed of Abraham – who was FAITHFUL and prospered when he dares. The same grace is available to us today despite our challenges to be FAITHFUL and to prosper in Christ Jesus stead. 2 Peter 1:2-4; Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. (See Genesis 13:2; 24:1).

Considering the above-mentioned nature of God in being FAITHFUL, you can bank on His FAITHFULNESS in His grace and BLESSEDNESS; this will give you the enabling leverage to abound the more, in sharing and partaking of His promises in the REDEMPTION DEED, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. And you can now have a reason to see the need to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in Christ Jesus stead, in the grace.

Be Blessed accordingly. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING AND PONDERING IN CONTEXT:
