Achievers Know-how: The Spirit of Dominion

The Achievers know-how spirit of dominion is the synergy of truth that enables one to achieve and be fulfilled in life. The spirit of dominion is not about dominating over people; but about living with the leverage of God’s mandate over things, satanic and cohorts forces that stands as obstacles in our path of freedom and fulfillment; and that gives the wisdom to understand times and make rightful judgement in life decisions.

Ecclesiastes 8:5 “Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.“

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” (AMPLIFIED).

Genesis 1:26-28 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.“

John 13:1-3 “Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him; 3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God“

John 17:1-3 ”These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ”

  • A man’s ignorance is His own mountain, but the knowledge of the truth gives freedom and dominion – John 8:32.
  • Your dominion in life is a product of your knowledge – Daniel 11:32.
  • A man’s value for knowledge determines his ultimate worth – Isaiah 33:6.
  • Knowledge is power, freedom and dominion, while religion is imprisonment  and bondage – Luke 11:52.
  • The grace that determines our status is a function of knowledge – 2 Peter 1:2.
  • When you run after knowledge, goodness and mercy runs after you – Proverbs 1:22, 29-33.
  • People who hate knowledge can’t secure heaven’s favour – Proverbs 13:15.
  • Age is not equal to knowledge, and should not be taken for knowledge – Job. 32:7-9.
  • If your thoughts are not updated, your life will be outdated – Proverbs 24:5.
  • When you add a little MORE knowledge to your life daily, you live a little better – Proverbs 4:18.
  • Whatever you have no value for, you have no access to – Mark. 6:5-6.
  • Studying for knowledge is not a transferable responsibility – 2 Timothy 2:15.
  • The only authentic proof of knowledge is freedom and liberty – John 8:32.
  • When you don’t grow in the spirit of knowledge, you end up groaning in life – 2 Peter 3:8.
  • Those who seek to know men, don’t know God; when you seek to know God, people will seek to know you – Jeremiah 17:5-8; Matthew 6:24.
  • Your knowledge of Jesus makes you absolutely sure of tomorrow – John 17:3; Isaiah 33:6.

 Triumphantly Reigning In Life

– Achievers Course of Dominion –

Shalom! Kingdom greetings!! I gracefully welcome you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, praying that His grace, peace, love and mercy might take hold of you with all things under your foot according to the Holy Scriptures, amen. I hope that in this month – FEBRUARY 2009 – where many are crazy for valentine kind of love expressions, that you might find the reason to celebrate God, living triumphantly daily with all things under your control, reigning in life by Christ Jesus in the fullness of His grace towards you.

February Edition

To some the year – 2009 – is still young and tender, while some on the other hand are waiting for some special news or announcement to be made by an accorded, business tycoon, political guru, financial and economic titan, a religious magician, an absolute leader – you name it – to enable them know how to pilot their life in the dawn year.

At the moment of drafting this – February edition – the ‘World Economic Forum’ – DAVOS 2009’ was having major economic plans to shape the world economy in Switzerland. Most nations in attendance will leave that convention with an economic ideology that will formulate their national economy which invariably will have an impact on all sundry nationwide and probably in a collective sense global-wise. Based on that, business entrepreneurs, career negotiators, financial institutions, political leaders, family institutions, ordinary individuals and others will begin to chart the pathway to their wellbeing in the year. Does that relate to you today! Have you thought, that you are about to step into another month without accounting for the month just ending. It’s for this cause, that the Achievers’ FAITH Digest is being made available for your enthronement.

Inspiration, Revelation & Empowerment

Romans 1:11 ‘’For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established’’

2 Chronicle 20:20 ‘’ . . . Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper’’

Hosea 12:13‘’And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved’’

Dearly beloved Achiever, I am constrained in my spirit by the reason of the grace given to me by the Lord in this edition to help awaken the consciousness of God that is already in you so that by it, you can triumphantly reign in life today. I mean the God kind of consciousness that was imparted into you spirit or subconscious-man in Faith by the reason of being born of God in Christ Jesus.

God’s intention through the ministry gifting of His called servant as indicated in the examples found in the Holy writ of Romans 1:11, 2 Chronicle 20:20 and Hosea 12:13; is that you might find reasons to live and enjoy the fullness of what Christ has done in you, for you and by identification with you.

I hereby proclaim that it’s high time God’s children woke up and fully arose to the God given mandate and consciousness for a daily inspiration, revelation and empowerment in order to triumphantly reign in life. This will enable us to deal with the daily affairs of life and also to become and achieve what you are born to be in Christ. I bare record that they are many believers in the kingdom today just going through life or merely existing that if what they holds as strength at the moment – Job, position, family, finance etc – are temporarily or permanently tempered with by any force of life, they crutch to the bottom with no inner grace to rise up again, that is if they will even remember again if there is a God in Zion.

For when you live in God’s consciousness you get inspirations, you receive revelations and empowerment to fulfil your God given duty in life as to – family, business, career, leadership and many others (name it). ‘’When you are inspired (by God’s consciousness), you will aspire and will not expire. When you live by revelation knowledge you will make wise decisions, not foolish or costly mistakes with unforgivable, unforgettable regrets. When you are empowered by impartation of God’s grace, you will make an impact in life and live a sweat-less and stress-less lifestyle’’.

Triumphant reigning in life is the consciousness of God’s grace upon our life as a result of inspiration, revelation and empowerment we daily receive in Christ to accomplish the plans, purpose of God we seek to pursue in our life.

Triumphant Reign – Everyone and In Every Place

2 Corinthians 2:14 ‘’Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’

Romans 5:17 ‘’For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)’’

The Scriptural books of 2 Corinthians 2:14 and Romans 5:17 indicate that there is a place of triumph and a place to reign in life for every child of God irrespective of gender, race and generation. And this is a place all of us most come into: a place of full grace experience and God’s consciousness to enable us actualise our God given rights and privileges in the kingdom, as in the scriptures.

To triumph is a feeling, condition and state of great happiness as a result of being victorious, having a major achievement and success in an endeavour of life. While to Reign indicates to be and hold a position of sovereignty, dominate and being in control. The life of triumph and to reign is what Christ has done for us and in us that is why we don’t just come to give our life to Christ but to have Christ in our life. We lost our place of reign and triumphant in Adam but find it in Christ. It’s not a state of the mind but a true life reality for all God’s children born into the kingdom to fully actualise in them if they must live above the rudiments and detects of this worldly control system and lifestyle.

This is not an ‘if’ condition or a place to experience or enter when we get to heaven or in the next millennium, but a call for today, even now. We are called of God to reign in life on earth by Christ Jesus – every one that has received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness – Romans 5:17. The Church in the wilderness (Old Testament) led by Moses was a kingdom based on condition ‘if’ before they could reign as royals – Exodus 19:5-7. Unlike Moses kind of Church, the Church of the New Testament led by Christ is not with an ‘if’ condition, but based on the done work of Christ Jesus our Lord. We are made into it. We are engrafted into it as a result of being born of God – 1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:5-6; 5:9-10; 1 John 5:4-5. Yours is to claim it by faith, lay hold of it and live in the consciousness, that, it does not depend on your effort but on the done work of Christ in every place of life and for all things of life.

Kinds of Life – A choice to make

Romans 5:17 ‘’For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)’’

Revelation 5:9-10 ‘’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth’’

James 3:14-15 ‘’ But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from ABOVE, but is EARTHY, SENSUAL, DEVILISH. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from ABOVE is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy’’

The scriptures in Romans 5:17 and Revelation 5:9-10 indicates that we have been made (not to be made) and empowered to reign in Life. What sort of life? Besides, is that true, real or one of those Bible statements of faith – one may ask? Whatever question it is, one thing is very sure and that is, life is real and real to all man born under the sun. God wants us to reign in life, but what kind of life and how can one reign in life with all the credit crunch and world economy meltdown, stale and pains in virtually all family under the sun you may ask. It all depends by what kind of life you are living by.

There are four major ‘Greek’ translated word for ‘Life’ I want us to consider three of them, probably that will help you weigh in your spirit man – subconscious person – what kind of life you’ve been living and how to consider what is expected of you to make you reign in life in all things and over all circumstances as an achiever in Christ Jesus. I know this by reason of grace in the Lord, will help you to tend towards God and will also enable and empower you to reign in life.

·Zoe (Grk) – The God kind of life

John 10:10 ‘’The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly’’

1 John 5:11-12 ‘’And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son; He that hath the Son hath life: and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life’’

2 Corinthians 4:10-11 ‘’Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh‘’

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.“

The Zoe Life – God kind of life – speaks of the nature, life and person of God – eternal life. The kind of life that God offers, embedded in us through Christ Jesus when we are born into the kingdom which will invariably affect the way we speak, what we say, how we act and how we do things, view things and conclude on things. The way we make choices and decisions in life depend on this God given kind of life if we must actual reign in life. It is the life in the realm of the Spirit – empowered Spirit of God. This is the life that you receive – eternal life – when you get born of God, it is the consciousness of what you have received and have in Christ that set a new pedestal for your lifestyle in the kingdom. This life is base on inspiration, revelation and empowerment knowledge of God.

Psuche (Grk) – The Soulish (sense) Kind of life

Hebrews 5:14‘’But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil’’

Romans 12:1-2‘’I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God’’

Romans 8:5-9 ‘’For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his’’

The Psuche life – Soulish kind of life – is the life that is live within the five senses of man – Feeling or Touching, Taste, Hearing, Seeing and smelling. This is a kind of life based on sense knowledge which sometimes constrains us to a laboratory and scientific test and some gimmicks approval for it to be live by. This is the life that multitudes want to live on and still expect God to bless it. Hence the scriptures indicate how much we need to have our senses sensitizes by the word of God if we may find the chance of obtaining God’s will to enhance us reigning in life as in Romans12:1-2, Hebrews 5:14 and Romans 8:5-9.

The life of the senses is the life that is completely ruled by our emotions, circumstances and detects of our environment. Here carnality operates, we walk by sight as the Holy writ says and those in this realm can’t please God and can’t reign in life by God. Those who live by sense knowledge are people who live by the direction of their mind, their intellect, their emotion – the human or natural influence. God wants us to have a sanctified, transformed and renewed mind which permits His word to enable us to reign in life.

Bioe or Bios (Grk) – The Biological kind of life

Acts 17:22-29 ‘’Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device’’

The Bioe or Bios – Biological life – speaks of livelihood or manner of life or behaviour. There are lots of people today who by the way they live are more of just existing than having and enjoying a life at all. Their life can be equated to the life of plants, animals or other created creatures. The Bioe life is a life built on mere human existence with their sub consciousness and soul –mind, emotion etc – not being involved in making decisions in their day to day activities.

In this realm of biological kind of life, anything comes and anything goes with no value attached to it. It’s for this reason of a mere life as Bioe that makes people not to have instincts of God but seek other means of living life as in idolatry, magic, necromancy, etc since they can’t fathom God. In life, even in Church life also, people are being modelled on how to live, talk, behave, answer questions, make decisions without individual wills involvement. How can such a person reign in life? Know today that a mere ‘manner of life or behaviour of life’ doesn’t determine a man’s destiny but eternal life – God kind of life – in a person is what determines his destiny.

Redeemed – To Reign as Royal

Revelation 5:9-10 ’’And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth’’

Revelation 1:5-6‘’And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen’’

1 Peter 2:9-10’’ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy’’

Beloved Achiever, what we lost in Adam, Christ has restored back to us in redemption. The scriptures in Revelation 5:9-10, Revelation 1:5-6 and 1 Peter 2:9-10 like many others indicates absolutely that we have been redeemed and made to reign as royals. This is not an act of revolution, it’s not refurbishment or renewal; this is REDEMPTION act of God in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. A complete transformation or translation as a result of what God has done in Christ (Colossians 1:13-14; Galatians 3:13-14).

The born of God believer is redeemed to reign as royal; born into the kingdom of king-hood and priesthood, crowned with royalty mandate. God’s intention is for us to reign on earth. Kings reign in authority and dominion – not as overlord on people – but over life challenges, circumstances, principalities and powers and over the domains of satan and his cohorts that intend to resist the eternal plans and purposes of God for our wellbeing and comforts. Reigning to set the captives free and all those whose lives are oppressed and in bondage not only by demons but also in their minds – ruled and controlled against their will by their thought life.

This spirit of grace given to us to reign in life is not a wishful thinking or a mere ideology but a true reality of what God has promised and has done in Christ Jesus for us to celebrate and live on in this life. If you know this and live in them in the consciousness of God’s grace and the gift of righteousness, you will be able to reign over all things that have limited you and rob you of becoming what God has made you to be – REIGN IN LIFE AS ROYAL!

When kings reign, all things are brought under control and obedience to Christ (lots to write about on reigning as royal but time and space). Its time to arise and put an end to all the fear-alleluia, poverty-alleluia, sickness-alleluia, complain-alleluia etc which some may not be saying or confessing, but may be acting out knowingly or unknowingly, thereby affecting their life goals and pursuits. You are redeemed to reign in life as royal, know it today and start to live in it now – (Hebrews 3:15).

Empowered – To Reign in Life

Romans 5:17 ‘’For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)’’

2 Peter 1:1-4‘’ . . . to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust’.

John 1:12‘’But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name’’

Ephesians 1:19-22 ‘’And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all’’

The subhead scriptures above indicates that we have been empowered graciously to reign in life over all things, all flesh and circumstances that have limited us. Kingdom achievers’ are empowered by the grace of God to deal with life victoriously and triumphantly in every place – not only in some areas or places– of their life. It’s irrelevant what or how people feel or think about it, God’s word cannot be bound. It’s irrevocable and it’s authentic even as it is written in the Holy writ.

You are empowered, therefore arise, go to the mirror if you have one and speak into your being what God has made you to be and begin to reign with the God kind of life – Zoe. The scriptures indicate that we shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ – Rom. 5:17. It’s for you to take your place in Christ. It’s a choice; you are the one who determines the pace of your life and not God. You take your place and reign or merely talk it, assume it and not actualising it, letting the events of life take their course against you. This is what Adam did to let the devil take charge and we all have to pay the prize of one man not taking His place in God.

Romans 5:1-2, 17, 21 ‘’Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God . . . For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) . . . That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord’’

2 Corinthians 5:21 ‘’For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him’’

2 Corinthians 2:14 ‘’Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’

In these three scriptures above, we can deduce two principal empowerments bestowed upon all who have received – born into – Christ and Christ into them to make them reign in life:

  • ·Abundance of grace and
  • ·Gift of righteousness

These ingredients are already en-grafted and embedded into our life when we were born of God – received Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. God extended His life – Zoe, eternal life, the unlimited life – to our limited life so that we can live and reign in life by Christ Jesus. We lost it in Eden, we can live on it today – It is a fully paid bill by our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. You can live guilty free and stand boldly before the lord without shame, inferiority complex or fear in your daily life schedule (Hebrew 4:14-6)

Hear this, when you make an effort to actualize in your life – Zoe and live with God consciousness in you, an ability to reign in life becomes as natural, this will enable you to dominate all that have hindered you to make all things become possible. You can then be able to reign in life:

  • ·In genuine Love and Faith
  • ·In revelation knowledge, understanding and wisdom
  • ·In integrity and prudence
  • ·In righteousness, Holiness and sanctification
  • ·In Consecration and commitment
  • ·In giving and receiving
  • ·In Hope and assurance
  • ·In Patience and temperance
  • ·Over trials and temptations
  • ·Over sinful living and such-like
  • ·Over anger and bitterness
  • ·Over the detects of satan, demonic powers and principalities
  • ·Over unsanctified thoughts and imagination that works – in and through -our minds
  • ·. . . and in many other kingdom life demands

Finally – Reign as the son of Man, Jesus!

Acts 2:22‘’Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know’’

Hebrew 5:7-10 ’’Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek’’

Dearly Beloved Achiever, year 2009 is no longer a wish. It’s here already. God wants you to triumph and reign in life. The days of a mere wishful way of existence to deal with the affairs of life is over for all those who are born of God and want to let the word of God have a root in them. We live in challenging times and every child of God must as a matter of reality live by what they are made to be in order to authenticate their faith in God – made to be kings and priests.

You need to take your stand in Christ in that which affects and opposes your faith to enable you reign in life over that – business entrepreneurship, marital relationship, career instability, general life relationship, health, finance, just name it – that have limited you and questioned the integrity of your Faith in God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, in the days of his life in the flesh – son of man – reigned in life by the abundance of supply of the Father towards him even as we have received. He reigned and dominated principalities and powers, overcame temptations and trials etc. He had a choice to give in or be in charge and in control and He chose to reign that He might give us an assurance of hope and to let us know that it’s all possible again to reign in life on earth until He comes to have us home – in Heaven. For as a son of man He reigns:

  • *Over all flesh – John 17:1-2
  • *Over Temptations and trials – Matthew 4:1- 11; Luke 4:1-13; John 14:30
  • *Over all things – Philippians 2:21-22; John 14:30
  • *Over principalities and powers – Ephesians 1:20-22; John 14:30
  • *Over the detects of hell and death – Rev. 1:18-19; Heb. 2:14-15
  • *With all authority and powers – Matt. 28:18
  • *. . . And many over’s as in the Holy writ. (John 21:25; 2John 12; 3 John 13)

Let’s arise, put an end to living in our own strength and skills and on life that is based on our intellect. Let’s begin to live life to the full, taking charge and reigning in life as a triumphant, victorious and more than a conqueror people of God and not as cowards (not spoken but acted). Human life is limited, is more than a mere accumulation of wealth or being physically strong. You can’t measure God’s endowment with physical prosperity. Let’s begin to exercise ourselves unto a Zoe kind of life and we shall live well on this side of heaven and here after.

Luke 12:15 ‘’And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth’’

1 Timothy 4:7-8‘’But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come’’

I sincerely pray for you that in this month, God will awaken you by this FEBRUARY EDITION of the Achievers’ FAITH Digest so that you can begin to reign in life in full. Your prosperity is very certain and is today, this day; this month can be the beginning of the beginning. Desiring for you, God’s grace and abundant blessings in all you do, amen.

Romans 1:11 ”For I long to see you, that I may IMPART to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established”

The Gospel Ministry is the only God’s empowering channel to man’s complete SALVATION.  The impact your life has on people is what is called ministry. Ministry is receiving the WORD from the Lord and handing it over to the people – That is, digging into the deep heart of God, to reach out to men.
The level of Word-impact determines your welfare and level of comfort in Ministry. It is only God’s commission that enjoys His provision – He will only commend and be committed to what He commands and commissioned. Exploit in ministry is in absolute adherence to what is commanded.
Hearing from God is the greatest asset in Ministry – Those who hear from God don’t run around with men. Pastoring is not about knowing the people, it’s feeding the people.

Good Success In Diligence

Proverbs 22:29 ”Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”

Colourful living is not for the lazy, for Success is not for the idle-minded people but the diligent. Diligence – a consistent steady effort or hard work –  is for those who wants to reign as kings. Progress in life calls for the pressing, hence great and established success is recorded on diligent pursuit. Diligence involves investing your abilities, strength and all you have into the pursuit of your mission. God can only prosper the works of your hand, not your calling. He only prospers your calling through prospering your efforts. For IDLENESS is a career and carrier of POVERTY and it has no remedy. Therefore invest in labour and reap the great harvest. Yours is the task of planting and watering, God’s task is to bring the increase and overflow. THINK! Be Blessed!!

BE PREPARED – AS A HORSE FOR BATTLE

The Achievers’ Spirit of Triumph

Prov 21:31 ‘’ The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD’’

2 Sam 11:1-5 ‘’And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem. And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bath-sheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house. And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child’’.

Jeremiah 12:5 ‘’If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?’’

Shalom! I bring you kingdom greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. I pray that the grace, love, peace and mercy of our God be increased and multiplied to you, with all things under your feet as you take the first step in his first month of year 2009 – JANUARY!

I believe by now you may have received the 42nd Generation Foundation theme for the year – 2009 AFD Edition – which was meant to structure the foundation for the new year – to serve as footing – upon which our monthly Achievers’ Faith Digest (AFD) will be leaning towards.

January Edition

When I consider closely all that has happened in 2008 – to families whom I have had the privilege of hearing their cries and pains and the different news still going on in the media: I also see and hear some believers act and speak as a people without hope and God in this world. I am bound to trust God that this January 2009 AFD edition will bring about an awakening to each one of us into a place of triumph and desired dreams.

There Is – Battle in Life

2 Tim 4:7 ‘’I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:’’

1 Tim 1:18 ‘’This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare’’

1 Tim 6:12 ‘’Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses’’.

John 16:33 ‘’These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world’’

Battles speak of a fight, conflict and the struggle that we go through in our lifetime. The scripture of Proverbs 21:31 intimates us of battle in life even as other scriptures also referred to it as war, warfare and a fight in life.

I remember a prayer scenario in which a young man came to meet his Pastor for prayers in order to get rid of any problems then and in future. The Pastor with all sincerity asked him to kneel, laid his hand on him and prayed this prayer – Lord, since this young man cannot take any more problems, kill him and take him home early – hearing this, the young man stopped the Pastor. He learnt from here, that under the sun, battles, conflicts, struggles, challenges and fights – are real to life either directly or indirectly.

As an achiever you need not take things for granted as some may. A lot of Christians jump into the New Year with great excitements, but unarmed and unprepared and end up being casualties of any problems that come their way instead of being victors as in Christ Jesus.

2 Cor. 10:3-6 ‘’For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled’’

Eph. 6:11-12 ‘’Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places’’.

1 Peter 5:8-9 ‘’Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world’’

We are constantly engaged in life battles – they are real, be it natural or spiritual. We need to realise and acknowledge these realities. These are some of the factors that we can attribute to life battles:

· Bereavement

· Mental & psychological battles

· Emotional problems

· Spiritual battles

· Financial battles

· Health problems

· Social problems

· Peer pressure

· Marital/Relationship strife

· Business/ Career trials

· Wars (Family, Community, National)

· Insecurity

· Natural disasters

· . . . and many others.

Some of these battles come with no warning whatsoever and are in various sizes and phases.

The Horse – Prepared for Battle

Proverbs 21:31 ‘’The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD’’

Job 39:19 ‘’Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?’’

1 Corinthians 14:8 ‘’For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?’’

In scripture the horse is used as a symbol of fleshly strength and might in war as described in Job 39:19-25, Psalms 20:7, Psm 33:16-17 & Psm 147:10

The horse is a solid-hoofed domesticated mammal used for pulling carts for war and for pleasure riding and racing. The horse has to be prepared against the day of battle or for whatever purpose it may be for. In racing the horse is prepared through intense training – months before the race.

In the case of American Indians going to war – the soldier would knot up the horse’s tail to prevent the enemy from taking hold of it and using it to take him down. He would plait the mane to prevent his bow and arrow getting entangled during combat. For war – horses were prepared both for emergency and planned wars. Vet checks, appropriate food for strength, and all necessary training and exercise regimes were carried out. So not only was the horse prepared in order to have speed and strength for the battle but preventative measures were put in place to ensure that the enemy could not pick on its weak areas. The American Indians would also decorate the horse in order to identify with their own and these decorations would usually tell a story about who the Indian and his horse were and were capable of.

We Are – God’s Battle Axe (prophetic)

Jeremiah 51:21-23 ‘’Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers’’

Psalm 18:38-40 ‘’I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me’’.

Just as the horse was the vehicle in use for battle – in the same manner we are God’s vehicle to accomplish His purposes on earth. We serve a royal God and one of the great roles for kings is to ensure safety, security and prosperity for their subjects. We are a royal priesthood – 1 Peter 2:5, 9 – we have a responsibility to keep our place in God safe from the enemy.

We are God’s battle axe and weapons of war to bring about the change not only in our personal lives but in our community. If we cannot battle the ant around us how can we battle for others? I pray that you will be inspired and not expire. Inspiration as God’s battle axe will cause you to aspire to greater heights and fight through to achieve that which you desire. You can only possess what you are willing to pursue.

Jere. 12:5 ‘’If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?’’

When people come across trials – the tendency is to give up. (Luke 18:1) If you get weary on a foot battle, how will you contend with ‘horses’ in some pursuits of business and personal life? Achievers do not give in until victory comes. You are an achiever – do not give in.

The Battle – Is the Lord’s

Psm 24:8 ‘’Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle’’.

Psm 20:6-8 ‘’Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright’’.

Josh 5:13-15 ‘’And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the LORD’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so’’.

One basic thing should always be in the depth of our spirit – and that is to know that no amount of self made strength can get us truly out of these battles (Zech. 4:6). If we could, the credit crunch would have left only a few in the red. All are looking for a miracle to deliver them because their strength has come to an end. The good news is that the battle of life is the Lord’s. You need not fight in your own strength – hand it all over to God. This is what David did to triumph over Goliath. Commit that marital, business, career, financial battle to the Lord; He will definitely fix it for you. It doesn’t matter how small or how big it may appear or look, the Lord will fix it again and again.

1 Sam 17:47-49 ‘’And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands. AND IT CAME TO PASS, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slung it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth’’.

Prov 21:31 ‘’The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD’’.

You can triumph over that monster of health, finance, business and relationship breakdown. Don’t give up or own up to the enemy, just keep on keeping on until your miracle comes from the Lord. It’s only what the Lord does that last for ever to authenticate His handwork and His glory in His Church on earth – that includes you.

Dare Plan – Be Prepare for Life Battle

Prov. 16:1, 3, 7, 9 ’’The preparations of the heart belong to man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD . . . Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established . . . When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. A man’s heart plans his way: but the LORD directs his steps’’

Mark 1:35 ‘’And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he (Jesus) went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed’’.

Josh. 1:8 ‘’This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest OBSERVE to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success’’

I’ve called back again and again what you very well know. That conflicts are real, battles are real regardless of what people think or the angle from which you are looking. The book of Jeremiah 12:5 challenges us not to grow weary when life’s battles come for if we faint for men on foot how then can we compete with big time business magnets in our society. The Bible says that if we faint, our faith (strength) is small – Proverbs 24:10.

Life battles come to us in various forms, times and seasons, we must be alert or else we will be caught in the net – Eccl 9:11-12. Our arc enemy who is the architect of our battles goes to and fro seeking for whom he may devour and disrupt their God given dreams. While the battles belong to the Lord, you have also the responsible of planning and preparing ahead of all battles of life. Failing to Plan and prepare, is otherwise the act of planning and preparing to fail in life. GOD FORBIDS!

Learning the principles of life from our lord Jesus – I will give you just two principles – not limited however – that will enable you to crush your enemy and to achieve your desired goals for 2009 as you plan and prepare.

· Principle of Prayer and worship – Mark 1:35, Luke 18:1. Be alert in the spirit of prayers with God the Father. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the chief executive of God concerning all the happenings in the WORLD today, He will lead you through in all life battles with victory. You can’t afford to do life battles without the Holy Spirit in Prayers as an achiever in Christ Jesus our Lord– 1 Cor. 2:6-16.

· Principle of studying the Word and doing the Word of God, in order to receive revelation, inspiration and empowering to deal with the affairs of life at any level – Josh 1:8, Psm 1:1-3, 2 Tim 2:15, 2 Tim 3:14-17; James 1:22-25.

When you know the mind of God – you will by the word – and you saturate it with God’s grace in prayers, you will ever win these battles no matter what it takes and how long it takes. The scripture says that the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him – But we have the mind of Christ. Amen! 1Cor. 2:14-16.

Consequences – Being Ill-Prepared

Psm. 78:9-11 ’’The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle. They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law; And forgot his works, and his wonders that he had showed them’’

Under the sun, the Battles of life most times comes our way with the intent to stop us from achieving God’s purposes in our life as we take our stand in Christ. Idleness and standstill position is one cunning and crafty way it comes and it does not only destroy an individual, it makes those around you suffer the same defeat when you yield to it – as failing in life battles always demands that.

The Scripture says it was the time when kings go to batter, but David decides not to go to war (Rev. 5:9-10; 1Pet. 2:5, 9). As a result of that idleness – the devil workshop they say – he fell into adultery that caused him confusion and family decadence for the rest of his family life. He began to make so many wrong judgements afterwards and his children went in the same lineage after him. That is the greatest strategy of life. To create a problem which posterity can’t fathom, but suffer same due to the error of another.

The children of Ephraim, who are meant to fight in the battle for God’s people, return without a shot from the battle field on the day of battle. What a great disappointment that an army fully armed and equipped returns without a shot in the midst of war. Israel was defeated that day. That is the kind of pain and disappointment that you get when those much trusted disappoint. And you see it in all areas of life – Marriage, business, career, parenthood, education, name it etc.

When people are self centred, they will never do anything for you on the day of your battle – these are vision and mission killers – they destroy faithful trust and the confidence of others for their selfish reasons.

This is why you should prepare, live ready and lean on God and not the kind of men with Ephraim’s and David’s spirit and attitude – on the day of battle.

Finally – The Winning Spirit

Isaiah 28:5-6 ‘’In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate’’.

2Corinthian 2:14 ‘’Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place’’

1Corinthian 14:8 ‘’For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?’’

The trumpet is sounded; the battle stage of life is set for 2009. The prepared horse has a winning spirit. When the trumpet is sounded for battle, all that the prepared horse has in mind is to win every battle no matter what it takes. Know for certain as in the scriptures that you are God’s battle axe and weapon of war to create and give hope to this generation – Jeremiah 51:20-24.

Beloved, as an achiever of God with a desired mandate, my prayer for you and all involved with my commission is to see each one triumph in this God intended mission to raise an amazing and majestic generation. God is raising a generation of hope, passionate with love, driven by faith in all life battles and with a mindset to be victorious and triumphant in life – year 2009 inclusive.

I challenge you in this year 2009 to take on again that business, career, marriage, parenthood, education and that seemingly impossible project you desire and pursue it with a winning spirit. So were you born of God to win in life in Christ Jesus, any day, anytime and anyhow – 2Cor. 2:14.

Therefore, go forth in year 2009, month by month, week by week and day by day winning the battle of life. I perceive in my spirit that this year 2009 that there is a reality of life for you to be a true STRANGER to defeat and failure. This is imminent and very possible indeed. See it and live for the greatest!

Be awake, alert and ready before the day battle begins. So, I pray by the grace of God that you will see your DAY even before its dawn, for so is the achiever mindset to life, even as our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen! – Mark 1:35.

The Crowning of Diligent Service

Serving the Lord . . . Enjoying His Goodness

Psalms 65:11 “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness”.

Prov 22:29 “Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”.

Job 36:11 “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasure”.

Hurrah! Hurrah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! Hosanna! Hosanna!! It’s the dawn of a brand new year 2009. Shalom & kingdom greetings! Grace, love and mercy be to you in the triumphant, precious and redeeming name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.

I can only thank God for you and many others who have been recipients and a part of the grace given to me in this kingdom assignment. Much more, thanks to God for the grace that has enabled us into this precious year 2009 after all the battles of 2008.

YEAR 2009

To some it’s normal to see 2009 dawn before them – but for those with knowledge, it’s by the grace of God. When you consider all the pains, trials and turbulent life experiences that have taken hold of our world – economic crunch and meltdown, business closures, job losses, marital and relationship breakdown, natural disasters, domestic and regional unrest, various sicknesses and disease epidemics, political instability and many others. There is a great need to thank God continuously for you being alive to make amends for a better tomorrow.

Prophetic Declaration

Isaiah 60:1-3 “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising”.

Isaiah 60:19-20 “The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended”.

2 Peter 1:19 “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the DAY STAR arise in your hearts:”

Matt 2:1-2 “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship him”.

When you skip through the various channels on TV, radio stations, go through the World Wide Web – all the news, discussions, debates, comments that you hear are opinions on the way the world and national economy and politics will go. Some negative, some with both negative and positive connotations.

In life people tend to lean towards these debates and declarations of their leaders in government, business and financial statements of fact, while others might lean towards the dictates of family circumstances, natural laws and dictates of colleagues.

Beloved, hear the Word of the Lord. There may be ‘facts’ to prove how our circumstances will turn out – the good Lord wants you to ARISE and SHINE for your light is come to shine in the midst of the darkness that has befallen the world.

The word of the Lord came to me saying – “Say to my people, as the wise men saw the star of Christ to guard and guide them, so shall my people be led to their place of salvation. That as every star shines, so shall every one of my people shine in the midst of the confusion in this world. Beloved, your response by faith to the negatives and facts you see and hear determines how much of God’s word you will walk in and how the Lord can crown the year for your goodness as you SERVE Him in spirit and in truth. Triumph and victory is available to you if you incline your ear to the saying of the Lord for the year 2009. Crowning the New Year with goodness is God’s plan, therefore ARISE and SHINE.

2009 – Manifestation of Spiritual Gifts & Fruit

I Cor 12:4–11 “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will”.

Gal 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law”.

The figure nine ‘9’ signifies completeness, perfection, maturity and wholeness. There are also nine ‘9’ gifts of the Spirit and nine ‘9′ fruit of the Spirit.

The spiritual gifts are to enhance the ministerial gifts – offices – in the body ministry and all that pertains to life. The spiritual fruit is to produce the Christian faith character that we have of our God. I can perceive of God that as many who diligently covet after these spiritual provisions of God will definitely have them to enhance them in all aspects of life and godliness.

This is the year for a complete and perfect time for you to ask God to endow you with spiritual gifting to enhance the walk of life in your hand and the spiritual fruit to enhance a befitting Christ-like character in every area of our life. You cannot afford to do without them if you must make the mark of crowning a fruitful year and serve God uprightly in obedience.

Prov 4:18-22 “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. My son, attend to my words; INCLINE thine ear unto MY SAYINGS. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh”.

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”.

Beloved, year 2009 is a year of great possibilities for God’s people in spite of what news you hear, see and feel. The scriptures above indicate one prominent statement of faith – Our God is faithful consistently consistent towards His thoughts and plans about us. He is a God who will keep to His sayings even in the midst of life’s mess-ups – if only you will incline your ears and attend to God’s sayings and keep them in the frontlets of your eyes.

The scriptures simply indicate that:

  • God’s thoughts and plans toward us are good.
  • God’s thoughts and plans toward you are not evil.
  • God’s plans for you are peaceful.
  • God has hope and a beautiful future and final outcome for you.
  • . . . & many more.

Inclining to the sayings of God is what will take you to your promised blessings in 2009. This is a choice that you have to make lest you walk like mere men and not as God’s chosen child designed for victory and triumph.

Walking in Diligence – Year 2009

Prov 22:28 – 29 ″Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”.

Prov 12:11 “He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding”.

Prov 28:19 “He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough”.

Heb 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”.

As I look back in my years of serving the Lord and look at the present in the course of seeing the heart of God by the knowledge and understanding that He has given me thus far, I have come to realise why many great prophesies given to men as individuals, local churches or ministries stay stalled or appear unfulfilled. Its is because some people just receive the prophetic declaration on new years eve as well as in the beginning of the year and yet not walk diligently in the fulfilment of the words of grace in their life. There is an ancient landmark in the scripture that makes the diligent stand before kings not mere men and that makes God rewards those who diligently seek Him.

In 2009, colourful living is not for those who are lazy to walk in God’s prophetic statement of faith. Crown success is not for the idle minded but for the diligent.

Diligence – a consistent steady effort or hard work – is for those who want to reign in life and be crowned as kings in their doings.

Rev 5:9-10 “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth”.

Being a child of God demands for the pressing if we must make progress, for great and established achievement is recorded on diligent pursuits. He that tills his ground shall have plenty of bread. (Prov.12:11; 28:19). Diligence involves investing your abilities, strength and all that you have into the pursuit of your life vision and mission for 2009 in order to earn the desired crown year.

God will only prosper the callings – mission – in your life by prospering your efforts, your investments toward your goals through diligence (Heb 11:6). Run away from idleness and idle people, because idleness is a career and carrier of POVERTY – spiritual, physical, financial etc – and it has no remedy.

Therefore invest in labour – tilling your land – and reap the great harvest of 2009. For your part in 2009 is the task of planting and watering, God’s task is to bring about the increase and overflow. (1Corinth 3:6-7; Phil 3:14; 1 Cor 9:24; Psm 1:1-3). Be diligent in prayers, in studying – not just reading – the scriptures, in fellowship, in business and in all aspects of doing life to enable you know how to observe God’s inspiration and revelation for your breakthroughs. (Joshua 1:8)

Obedience in Service

Job 30:11 – 12 “If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure”

Ex 23:25-27 “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee”.

Isaiah 1:19 “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”

Josh. 15:24:15-17 ” . . . Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve . . . But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord . . . ”

The things that have happened to our world economy and political instabilities is far beyond the thought that its the fault of the United States of America or any other nation that may have been attributed with the evils and problems today – be it domestic or otherwise.

These happenings are a process through which God wants His Church to ARISE and take their place in SERVICE through obedience to bring about His purposes to the world in His Church.

Eph 3:10-11 ”To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:”

The scriptures on obedience indicate that if we obey and serve Him:

  • We will spend our days in prosperity.
  • We will spend our years in pleasure.
  • We will eat the good of the land.
  • We will not be barren in the land, in our body & in our business.
  • We will be in good health and strength.
  • We will not have miscarriages in body, vision, ministry, marriages, business etc.
  • We will be free from the evil that is in the world
  • . . . and many more. (See 2Peter 1:1-13; John 15:1-8)

Beloved, these are the days when our Christian faith is challenged by what is happening in our world on a daily basis.

It is only by engaging in serving the Lord through absolute obedience that we can bring about a true and lasting change in our lives and society in such a time as this. Serving the Lord in obedience includes – but is not limited to – the following:

  • Time availability
  • Financial ability
  • Physical and mental abilities.
  • Spiritual and ministerial abilities
  • Services in various opportunities of a local church.
  • Reaching the poor and needy.
  • Giving to missionary causes
  • . . . and many more

Serving the Lord in obedience can only be achieved through the heart of love in spirit and in truth. You cannot serve the Lord effectively without a genuine act of love in our hearts and lives. In 1st Corinthians 12, we are told of spiritual gifts but to effectively function with them as in 1st Corinthians 14, there is an injunction in chapter 13 to express an excellent spirit of love. Love is the only principle that can cause a genuine service of obedience to bring about God’s blessings in our lives. (Mark 12:29-31; Gal 5:6, 13; 1 Tim. 1:5)

Finally: Crowning Year 2009

Psalm 65:11 (1-13) ‘’Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness’’.

Serving the Lord, diligent walk and walking in obedience to the Word of God are the keys to enjoying His goodness.

One thing that God has assured me in the spirit and in the Word is to crown the year with His goodness and this is why Christ came, to give you a good, beautiful and colourful life. (John 10:10, 3 John 2)

God is not a man that He should lie. He will bless you and make His part of the deal come to pass. I am assured of God’s ability to turn your darkness and setbacks of 2008 into a blossoming glory in 2009.

I therefore welcome you by the grace of God into year 2009 of the 42nd Generation Foundation mandate. I pray by the anointing vested in us by the reason of this commission that you will do well, prosper and enjoy the fullness of God as He crowns you with His goodness.
