THE PASSOVER: EXPRESSING THE GENUINE BIBLE LOVE – LAYING YOUR LIFE DOWN FOR THE GOOD OF OTHERS AS JESUS DID!
“Now before the FEAST of the PASSOVER, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having LOVED his own which were in the world, he LOVED them unto the END . . . 34 A NEW COMMANDMENT I give unto you, That ye LOVE one another; as I have LOVED you, that ye also LOVE one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have LOVE one to another” John 13:1, 34-35.
Genuine Bible LOVE can be known. It thus mean, genuine LOVE of God in Christ Jesus can be known. It’s real, tangible, intentional, unconditional, without dissimilation, without hypocrisy and such like. The outworking of genuine Bible love that is KNOWN, is as SCRIPTURALLY attested to by Apostle John and it’s as written:
“By this we KNOW love, because He LAID down His life for us. And we also ought to LAY down our lives for the brethren” 1 John 3:16.
Therefore, God’s love is born in our HEARTS by the REDEMPTION done deed of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. And the week and weekend of PASSOVER is our best time and moment to awaken God’s LOVE in our being, as we do life and live godly in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in our REDEMPTION.
“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. FOR EVEN CHRIST OUR PASSOVER IS SACRIFICED FOR US” 1 Corinthians 5:7.
Blessed regards in God’s LOVE in redemption for us.
SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us. 6 For when we were yet WITHOUT strength, in due time Christ DIED for the UNGODLY. 7 For SCARCELY for a RIGHTEOUS man will one die: yet peradventure for a GOOD man some would even dare to die. 8 But God COMMENDETH his LOVE toward us, in that, WHILE we were yet SINNERS, Christ DIED for us” Romans 5:5-8.
“This is my commandment, That ye LOVE one another, as I have LOVED you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man LAY DOWN his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” John 15:12-14.
“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. FOR EVEN CHRIST OUR PASSOVER IS SACRIFICED FOR US” 1 Corinthians 5:7.
