ACTUALISING OUR REDEMPTION IN THE GRACE

April 9, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

ACTUALISING OUR REDEMPTION IN THE GRACE: IT’S OUR NEW DAWN FROM DEAD WORKS – TO DO LIFE AND LIVE GODLY – IN GOD IN CHRIST JESUS!

“And YOU He made ALIVE, who were DEAD in TRESPASSES and SINS, 2 in which you once WALKED according to the COURSE OF THIS WORLD, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by NATURE children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His GREAT LOVE with which He LOVED us, 5 even when we were DEAD IN TRESPASSES, made us ALIVE together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and RAISED us up together, and MADE us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God PREPARED beforehand that we should walk in them” Ephesians 2:1-10.

Now that our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus is RISEN, ALIVE and ENTHRONED for evermore – it’s our time to RESURRECT from DEAD WORKS – to DO LIFE and LIVE GODLY in Him; For He’s our REDEMPTION in the grace. He’s our PASSOVER indeed and has passed us from death unto life in every ramifications by being the PASSOVER lamb as written:

“Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our PASSOVER, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the UNLEAVENED bread of sincerity and truth” 1 Corinthians 5:6-8 [Exodus 12:1-14; Luke 22:1-20].

Now know therefore, it’s NOT just about celebrating and communicating OUR PASSOVER in the grace but it’s about our PASSOVER in Christ Jesus stead, in order to ensure our assured redemption in all the rights and privileges of these contexts and not limited. We are now to PASSOVER:

  • From Sin To Righteousness
  • From Eternal Death To Eternal Life
  • From Sickness And Disease To Healing And Health
  • From Bondage And Captivity To Deliverance And Freedom
  • From Falsehood And Mere Facts To The Truth And Truth Only
  • From Hopelessness To Hope
  • From Unforgiving To Forgiveness And Forgetfulness
  • From Evil, Hatred, Cruelty And Wickedness To Goodness, Love And Mercy And Leniency.
  • From Poverty To Eternal Riches
  • From Curse To Blessing
  • From Injustice to justice, equity, mercy, faith, rights and privileges.
  • From not having known God to having to know God In this World and His Christ and the precious Holy Spirit.
  • And from many such like the more . . . to fulfilling purposes in the grace. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. 2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (THEN WERE THE DAYS OF UNLEAVENED BREAD.) 4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after EASTER to bring him forth to the people” Acts 12:1-4 (KJV)

“Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. NOW IT WAS DURING THE DAYS OF UNLEAVENED BREAD. 4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after PASSOVER” Acts 12:1-4 (NKJV)

“Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. FOR EVEN CHRIST OUR PASSOVER IS SACRIFICED FOR US: 8 therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” 1 Corinthians 5:6-8.

“. . . 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and ROLLED BACK THE STONE from the door, and sat upon it . . . 5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6. HE IS NOT HERE: for HE IS RISEN, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay . . .” Matthew 28:1-10.

“Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that RAISED up Jesus our Lord from the DEAD; 25 who was DELIVERED for our OFFENCES, and was RAISED again for our JUSTIFICATION” Romans 4:23-25.

SUMMARY:

The message celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the redemption it brings to believers. It emphasises that Jesus’ resurrection is the dawn of a new era, where believers can transition from dead works to living a godly life in Him.

The message references Ephesians 2:1-10, highlighting how God made believers alive through Christ, raised them up, and seated them in heavenly places. This is a gift of grace, not earned by works, but received through faith.

The Passover is used as a metaphor for Jesus’ sacrifice, where believers are passed over from death to life, sin to righteousness, and bondage to freedom. The message encourages believers to purge out old leaven (sin and malice) and live with sincerity and truth.

The resurrection of Jesus is a triumph over death, and believers are invited to participate in this victory. The message lists various “passovers” that believers can experience, including:

  • From sin to righteousness
  • From eternal death to eternal life
  • From sickness to healing
  • From bondage to freedom
  • From falsehood to truth
  • From hopelessness to hope
  • From unforgiving to forgiveness
  • From evil to goodness
  • From poverty to eternal riches
  • From curse to blessing
  • From injustice to justice

The message concludes by emphasizing that Jesus is risen, and believers can celebrate this victory. It encourages readers to ponder on their faith and experience the redemption and freedom offered through Christ.

Key points:

  • Jesus’ resurrection is a new dawn for believers
  • Believers are made alive through Christ and seated in heavenly places
  • Jesus is the Passover lamb, sacrificing Himself for believers
  • Believers can experience various “passovers” to a new life in Christ
  • Jesus’ resurrection is a triumph over death, and believers participate in this victory

HAPPY AND BLESSED RESURRECTION AND ENTHRONEMENT SUNDAY

April 5, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

HAPPY AND BLESSED RESURRECTION AND ENTHRONEMENT SUNDAY: HE’S BOTH RISEN AND ENTHRONED FOREVER MORE!

“Jesus said unto her, I AM THE RESURRECTION, and THE LIFE: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 11:25-26.

He’s Risen! He’s Enthroned!! The Risen Christ, He’s our Salvation and by Him, through Him and in Him, we are RECONCILED to Father God, and our Relationship and Fellowship with Father God that was lost in Adam, are now restored in glory and in virtue, in the grace. Glory to God in Highest and Hallelujah. May His name forever be praised as we celebrate and commemorate Him today, in the now and always. For by Him, we are blessedly assured and ensured. Our REDEMPTION is now certified and sealed.

“. . . 2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne . . . 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who SITS on the THRONE, who LIVES forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who SITS on the THRONE and WORSHIP Him who LIVES forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created” Revelation 4:1-11.

Our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus is not just risen, alive and enthroned, He’s the resurrection Himself. And when the resurrection Spirit dwells in you, it makes all the difference. That’s what makes this commemoration awesome and worth celebrating indeed. What about you?

“There is therefore NOW NO CONDEMNATION to those who ARE in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death . . . 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who RAISED Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who RAISED Christ from the dead will also give LIFE to your MORTAL BODIES through His Spirit who dwells in you” Romans 8:1-11.

Herein are three reasons why you MUST go to a local Church this morning to celebrate and commemorate the risen and enthroned Christ, who is Saviour and Lord and soon coming king:

  • Our Sin Forgiven – means Our RELATIONSHIP with God restored. No more sacrifices of the flesh. [Romans 5:1-2, 17-21; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Revelation 1:5-6; Revelation 5:9-10; Romans 8:28-30].
  • Our Access Guaranteed – means Our acts of FELLOWSHIP (COMMUNION) with God restored. No more middle failing man anymore. [1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10]
  • Our lost BLESSEDNESS and POSITION in Him, is now restored without conditionality in Christ Jesus. [Ephesians 1:3, 20; Ephesians 2:6; Galatians 3:6-9; 13-14, 26-29].

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHT WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For there is one God and one MEDIATOR between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5.

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” Acts 4:12.

“And WITHOUT CONTROVERSY great is the MYSTERY OF GODLINESS: God was MANIFESTED in the flesh, JUSTIFIED in the Spirit, SEEN by angels, PREACHED among the Gentiles, BELIEVED on in the world, RECEIVED up in glory” 1 Timothy 3:16.

Further Scriptural Reading: Ephesians 1-2; Colossians 1; Colossians 2; Colossians 3:1-17; Luke 1:68-75; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:6-7; Romans 8:9-11.

SUMMARY:

The message celebrates the resurrection and enthronement of Christ Jesus, emphasising His victory over death and His current position as Saviour, Lord, and soon coming King.

Key Points:

  1. Christ’s Resurrection and Enthronement: Jesus is not just risen, but He’s the Resurrection itself (John 11:25-26). He’s enthroned in heaven, worthy of worship and honour (Revelation 4:1-11).
  2. Restoration in Christ: Through Christ’s resurrection, believers are reconciled to Father God, restoring their relationship and fellowship (Romans 8:1-11).

Benefits in Christ:

  • Sin forgiven, relationship with God restored (Romans 5:1-2, 17-21).
  • Access to God guaranteed, fellowship restored (1 Corinthians 1:9, Romans 8:28).
  • Blessedness and position in Christ restored without conditionality (Ephesians 1:3, 20; Ephesians 2:6).

Call to Action:

Join a local Church to celebrate and commemorate the risen and enthroned Christ, acknowledging His Lordship and soon return.

Scriptural Emphases:

  • Jesus is the Resurrection and Life (John 11:25-26).
  • Believers are in Christ, free from condemnation (Romans 8:1-11).
  • Christ’s enthronement is a reason for worship and celebration (Revelation 4:1-11).

The message encourages reflection on the significance of Christ’s resurrection and enthronement, urging believers to gather with others to honour Him.

HE’S ALIVE – HE’S RISEN – HE’S ENTHRONED

April 20, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

HE’S ALIVE – HE’S RISEN – HE’S ENTHRONED: HE’S OUR PASSOVER LAMB!

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:55.

The sting of Death couldn’t hold Him down – let’s celebrate and commemorate Him – for our REDEMPTION is done.

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; THAT THROUGH DEATH HE MIGHT DESTROY HIM THAT HAD THE POWER OF DEATH, that is, the devil; 15 and DELIVER them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage” Hebrews 2:14-15.
Blessed Sunday!
Blessed Resurrection!!
Blessed PASSOVER!!!

HE’S RISEN, HE’S ALIVE, HE’S ENTHRONED!

“. . . HE IS NOT HERE: FOR HE IS RISEN, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that HE IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD . . .” Matthew 28:5-8.

The stone of bondage has been rolled away. LOVE HAS TRIUMPHED OVER DEATH. GRACE has TRIUMPHED over the CURSE of the LAW and the CURSE of the FALL that has kept man in BONDAGE.
Let’s Celebrate and Commemorate Him. We’ve pass from death unto life in Christ Jesus – now free to live and live, and never to live and die in sin again. Hallelujah.

“For He hath MADE him to be SIN FOR US, who KNEW NO SIN; that we might be MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of God IN Him” 2 Corinthians 5:21.

THANK YOU JESUS – FOR IN YOU – WE HAVE DOMINION IN REDEMPTION.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 AND THE GRAVES WERE OPENED; AND MANY BODIES OF THE SAINTS WHICH SLEPT AROSE, 53 AND CAME OUT OF THE GRAVES AFTER HIS RESURRECTION, AND WENT INTO THE HOLY CITY, AND APPEARED UNTO MANY. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God” Matthew 27:50-54.

“. . . 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY. 55 O DEATH, WHERE IS THY STING? O GRAVE, WHERE IS THY VICTORY? 56 THE STING OF DEATH IS SIN; AND THE STRENGTH OF SIN IS THE LAW. 57 But THANKS be to God, which GIVETH US THE VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 15:50-58.

“Now THANKS be unto God, which ALWAYS causeth us to TRIUMPH in Christ, and maketh MANIFEST the SAVOUR of his KNOWLEDGE by us in EVERY PLACE” 2 Corinthians 2:14.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath RECONCILED US to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath GIVEN TO US the ministry of reconciliation; 19 to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then WE ARE AMBASSADORS for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.

Further Scriptural Reading Text: 1 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 8:9-11; Luke 24:1-8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:13-14; Ephesians 1:7-8; Hebrews 2:14-15.

6 HE IS NOT HERE: for HE IS RISEN, as he said.
