ENDEAVOUR TO ‘MORTIFY’ – SUBDUE AND PUT THE FLESH TO DEATH: BEFORE YOUR BEDTIME – FOR YOUR NEW DAY IS COME!

‘Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the FLESH, to LIVE after the FLESH. 13 For if ye live after the FLESH, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do MORTIFY THE DEEDS OF THE BODY, ye shall LIVE. 14 For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:12-14.

Until King Uzziah DIED, there was no NEW DAY and HEADWAY for Prophet Isaiah to experience an ONWARD and UPWARD, INWARD and OUTWARD trajectory path to thrive, shine and become; and to live meaningfully and purposefully; and to be fulfilled in LIFE and GRACE – Ministry.

King Uzziah was a symbol of the FLESH in the WAY of Prophet Isaiah in doing life and living godly in God in Christ Jesus stead. The consequence and effect King Uzziah presence was that Prophet Isaiah though a great Prophet to be and in the making, could not move FORWARD – ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory with God from Chapter One to Chapter Five. But as soon as his flesh – king Uzziah – gives way in Chapter Six, he was able to witness and experience the three dimensional phase of God’s dealings – an UPWARD, INWARD and OUTWARD trajectories; and that change his LIFE and MINISTRY perception forever – in God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT – which enabled him to become that great Prophet that he was born of God to be in LIFE and GRACE.

Until you MORTIFY, that is, to SUBDUE, to put to DEATH – the act and deeds of the influencer called the FLESH – which is of what you SEE, FEEL, SMELL, TASTE and HEAR. For, it will be difficult to explore, innovate, create and initiate life with God while the influencer – the FLESH abounds. For by the DEEDS of the FLESH shall no man be JUSTIFIED or PREVAIL in the sight of God.

“Therefore by the DEEDS of the law there shall no flesh be JUSTIFIED in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin” Romans 3:20.

God wants you to experience His ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUITS for your life, but you must have a look as Prophet Isaiah in the three dimensions of an – UPWARD, INWARD AND OUTWARD – of God’s perception, to make it happen for you. It’s what you do INTENTIONALLY and RESPONSIBLY in order to be ACCOUNTABLE in the PRINCIPLE of grace – wherein to STAND in Christ Jesus stead – UNASHAMED, UNAFRAID and EMBOLDENED – and without sentiments, dissimulation and prejudice in all phases with God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Therefore, WALK in the influence and perception of the WORD of God by the Holy Spirit, you will not fullfil and be influenced by the DESIRE and DEEDS of the FLESH influence in the cause of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“In the year that KING UZZIAH DIED I SAW ALSO THE LORD SITTING UPON A THRONE, HIGH AND LIFTED UP, AND HIS TRAIN FILLED THE TEMPLE. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 THEN SAID I, WOE IS ME! DO YOU DESIRE TO PLEASE GOD?

DO YOU DESIRE TO PLEASE GOD: LIVE AND WALK IN THE SPIRIT BY THE WORD!

I know to what extent most of us are driven in the Christian Faith to DO lots and loads in the name of PLEASING (and wanting to PLEASE) God. And yet NEVER enough, because it’s not by POWER and not by MIGHT but by my Spirit says the LORD as it’s written:

“Then he answered and SPAKE unto me, saying, This is the WORD of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by MIGHT, nor by POWER, but by MY SPIRIT, saith the Lord of hosts” Zechariah 4:6.

And PLEASING God by His Spirit comes through by the WORD. Hence, it’s not enough when some of us let go our precious TIME, FINANCE and EFFORT EXERTION (Physical & Mental) to ensure that the CAUSE and CAUSES of God and humanity are doing great, and are yet found questionable. This is simply because our precious TIME, FINANCE and EFFORT EXERTION (Physical & Mental) may not have been invested and done SCRIPTURALLY by the WORD in CONTEXT to justify one as to the PLEASING of God.

Honestly, why all our efforts may seems good in our own eyes, but are they – the GOOD, ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT WILL of God? Romans 12:1-2. And we mustn’t forget that His WILL is His WORD and in His WORD only. Then we can ask ourselves if our ACTS of DOING what we DO really PLEASE God?

What then is the ACTS to PLEASE God if someone may ask?  HEREIN ARE TWO PRINCIPLES TO KNOW:

** THE ACT TO PLEASE GOD – PRINCIPLE 1:

Spend your most precious time on what God IS to you rather than what you think or conceived or intend that the enemy and cohorts ARE or DOING or capable of doing. More of God and Less and nothing of the ENEMY and COHORTS. Philemon 1:6.

The foremost and great ACT about PLEASING God is that you spent little or no energy at all on your enemy and or enemies if you think you have one; for God will causes them to be at PEACE with you when your time is spent on God primarily as in His WORD on any context. In my own terms, He makes them to WORK for your good instead of been at WAR with you – Proverbs 16:7. DON’T YOU LIKE THAT? Because I Do LOVE God to take care of the ENEMY and COHORTS while I burn my time instead, PLEASING Him. That’s effortless and keeps one at ease in LIFE and GODLY LIVING even in the MIDST of challenges and obstacles in our circumstances.

Having less and nothing of the ENEMY and COHORTS attention and MORE of God is not the gracious and graceful thing to do when having or in the midst of a mental, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual TORTURE of the known and unknown enemy (enemies) and cohorts. More so, it’s not about having an ENDLESS meetings of prayer and fasting cum night vigils, instead of spending such gracious moments in PLEASING God by the SCRIPTURAL CONTEXT on that circumstantial while He takes care of that ENEMY and COHORTS department for you as enjoined in the Scripture of Proverbs 16:7 and Hebrews 11:6.

This is what I enjoy doing – PLEASING GOD by the SCRIPTURAL CONTEXT on any subject matters that confronts me; and that’s what I wants you to know and enjoy likewise in Christ Jesus. Hence no more enemy (enemies) and cohorts l WORRIES, ANXIOUSNESS and CONSCIOUSNESS to keep me in fear phobias when I am at PEACE with God. That is the PATH OF LIFE I follow, to have COMMUNION, which is the FELLOWSHIP that enhances RELATIONSHIP with God. It SAVES me from ERRORS and SELF AFFLICTION and IGNORANCE in dealing with matters of life in my GODLY LIVING in Christ Jesus stead – Psalms 16:11; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28. Matthew 22:29; Acts 17:30-31.

** THE ACT TO PLEASE GOD – PRINCIPLE 2:

“Spend your synergy to LIVE and WALK in the Spirit by your spirit and not in the FLESH – SENSES” Galatians 5:25.

To LIVE and WALK in the Spirit is another ACT you MUST know and start DOING while you stop right now living and walking in the flesh – by your SENSES, if you MUST PLEASE God in order to enjoy the scriptural rights and privileges of Proverbs 16:7 and Hebrews 11:6, in conjunction with the enjoined Scriptures of Romans 8:1-4, 8.

Romans 8:1-4, 8 states that those who are – that is, LIVE and WALK in the FLESH CANNOT PLEASE God. What then does it mean to LIVE and WALK in the FLESH? It means to live and walk in your FIVE SENSES directives in opposition to doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY with God in SCRIPTURAL CONTEXT. And herein, are what the FLESH (SENSES) segments consist of:

** Hearing (Hear)

** Seeing (See)

** Smelling (Smell)

** Tasting (Taste)

** Feeling/Touching (Feel/Touch)

People who live and walks by the indulgence and guidance of their FIVE SENSES satisfies the lusts and affections of the flesh. And such CANNOT PLEASE God no matter what their intents are. For by the DEEDS of the FLESH shall no man LIVE, PREVAIL and be JUSTIFIED before God as says the Scripture – Romans 3:20; Romans 8:13, 28-30.

They are always CONSEQUENCES and EFFECTS of living and walking in the FLESH – five senses. Therefore, DON’T BE A SENSE-RULED or BODY-RULED BELIEVER – if you must PLEASE God. Let your SENSES be sensitized by God’s WORD as Hebrews 5:14 enjoined.

And if you feel Otherwise you can ASK:

*** EVE of Genesis about the effect of the sight (to behold of the eyes) of the fruit in the garden of Eden;

*** ESAU about the smell and taste of porridge that cause his lost to his birthright because of his brother’s – JACOB – porridge;

*** King SAUL of losing his throne towards the harkening his ear in hearing and listening to the voice of the people in making sacrifice ahead of Prophet SAMUEL arrival and instructions;

*** Prophet SAMUEL about trying to anoint ELIAB as a King instead of DAVID by sight in JESSE’S house and God’s rebuke in his trying to do so;

*** King DAVID about the death of a non-LEVITE’S who touch the ARK to help carry it against divine process;

*** Yourself of other such like SENSE ACTS in the Holy Writ not mentioned.

HOW THEN DO WE PLEASE GOD IN ESSENCE:

The Scripture of Hebrews 11:6 says that WITHOUT an ACT of FAITH we CANNOT PLEASE GOD. Really? YES! Faith is ACTING accordingly on what you BELIEVE on GOD’S WORD in context. It thus means FAITH is of God’s WORD. Meaning No WORD – No FAITH, for FAITH comes by the WORD – Romans 10:17, Hebrews 11:1-3.

The WORD of God is spiritual, victorious and triumphant in every way in every cause. Meaning FAITH is spiritual, victorious and triumphant – 1 John 5:3-5, 2 Corinthians 2:14. Then to exercise FAITH life in order to PLEASE GOD, one needs to LIVE and WALK in the Spirit. Only by the Holy Spirit CAN one ONLY live FAR ABOVE the lusts and affections of the flesh – SENSES Galatians 5:24-25.

Living by the SPIRIT is living by the WORD of God. When you develop a living in the Spirit by your spirit consciousness, then can you LIVE and WALK in the SPIRIT by your spirit consciousness.

Do you know and understand what it means to live in the Spirit by your spirit-consciousness to enhance your Spirit Walk by your spirit-consciousness? If you don’t, the FLESH – SENSE living will keep you at WAR in your being as the Scripture enjoins in Galatians 5:16, 24 and James 4:1-3.

Therefore, if you must PLEASE God – then LIVE and WALK in the Spirit by the WORD OF GOD through FAITH. For we WALK by FAITH SENSE and not by SIGHT – FLESH SENSE – 2 Corinthians 5:7. And anything done outside FAITH ACTS is Sin, so enjoined the scripture of Romans 14:23. Sin then means UNBELIEVE toward God in Christ Jesus stead. That is, for any not to BELIEVE on God’s WORD as it is and ACT accordingly in Christ Jesus stead.

If you want and must PLEASE GOD, LIVE and WALK in the Spirit and not in your SENSES that you might access God’s PEACE even in the midst of your acclaimed enemy (enemies) and cohorts (More on this is in my later upcoming Book – “Being Divinely Led of God”).

“That the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING OF EVERY GOOD THING which is IN YOU in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

“When a man’s ways PLEASE the Lord, he maketh even his ENEMIES to be at PEACE with him” Proverbs 16:7.

“This I say then, WALK in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh . . . 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the AFFECTIONS and LUSTS. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:16, 24-25.

“. . . 3 Through FAITH we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear . . . 6 But WITHOUT FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:1-3, 6.

“From whence come WARS AND FIGHTINGS among you? come they not hence, even of your LUSTS that WAR in your members? 2 Ye LUST, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and CANNOT OBTAIN: ye FIGHT AND WAR, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your LUST” James 4:1-3.

PRESENTING YOUR BODIES (FLESH – SENSES) TO GOD: THE EASIEST WAY TO KNOWING GOD’S WILL AND TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

I do know that every Believers in Christ wants to live triumphantly and experience the EASIEST way to their daily TRIUMPH; also, wants to KNOW THE HOW and OPERATIVE PRINCIPLE, in God’s WILL, for them, in life and grace, without obstructions.

Being a GOSPEL Minister have given me such rare privilege to know relatively, the questions and the feelings of people who struggles day to day to ensure that they are at peace within themselves, especially on matters affecting their personal relationship with God; and in the how they do life with others and in carrying out their daily earthly affairs. Unknown to some, the solution and matters are simple – it’s for you to PRESENT YOUR BODIES AS A LIVING SACRIFICES UNTO GOD.

But How can one present one’s BODIES to God as a living sacrifice? To present your BODIES simply means to hand over your SENSES which makes you BODY-RULED or FLESH-RULED toward God instead of being SPIRIT-RULED or WORD-RULED to Him. The human body is functional by the operation of the FIVE SENSES: These senses are –

** Sight (Seeing),

** Hear (Hearing/Listening),

** Taste (Tasting),

** Feel (Feeling) or Touch (Touching) and

** Smell (Smelling).

These five senses have made and unmade humanity in various shape in what they have become to themselves and relatives to OTHERS intentionally and unintentionally. It’s of these senses that man failed and fall in the first place with God and himself. And many are still in such a great danger in their daily walk with God.

The scriptures enjoined us to WALK by FAITH SENSE – that’s by the WORD SENSE, for FAITH is functional by the WORD, it comes by the WORD and it’s build up by the WORD; hence we should not WALK by SIGHT – SENSE (Five Senses of seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling (touching).

More so, FAITH IS SPIRITUAL, and it’s of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, PRESENTING YOUR SENSES TO BE SPIRIT-LED (WORD LED), will ensure EASE and TRIUMPH in knowing and operating in God’s precious – GOOD, SURE, TRUE, ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT (wholesome, mature and complete) WILL for your life and unhindered in the grace wherein you stand in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye PRESENT YOUR BODIES (SENSES) a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may PROVE what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, WILL of God” Romans 12:1-2 (Emphasis Mine).

PRESENTING YOUR BODIES (FLESH – SENSES) TO GOD: THE EASIEST WAY TO KNOWING GOD’S WILL AND TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

The foremost and great ACT about PLEASING God is that you spent little or no energy at all on your enemy and or enemies if you think you have one; for God will causes them to be at PEACE with you when your time is spent on God primarily as in His WORD on any context. In my own terms, He makes them to WORK for your good instead of been at WAR with you – Proverbs 16:7. DON’T YOU LIKE THAT? Because I Do LOVE God to take care of the ENEMY and COHORTS while I burn my time instead, PLEASING Him. That’s effortless and keeps one at ease in LIFE and GODLY LIVING even in the MIDST of challenges and obstacles in our circumstances.

Having less and nothing of the ENEMY and COHORTS attention and MORE of God is not the gracious and graceful thing to do when having or in the midst of a mental, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual TORTURE of the known and unknown enemy (enemies) and cohorts. More so, it’s not about having an ENDLESS meetings of prayers and fasting cum night vigils, instead of spending such gracious moments in PLEASING God by the SCRIPTURAL CONTEXT on that circumstantial while He takes care of that ENEMY and COHORTS department for you as enjoined in the Scripture of Proverbs 16:7 and Hebrews 11:6.

This is what I enjoy doing – PLEASING GOD by the SCRIPTURAL CONTEXT on any subject matters that confronts me; and that’s what I wants you to know and enjoy likewise in Christ Jesus. Hence no more enemy (enemies) and cohorts l WORRIES, ANXIOUSNESS and CONSCIOUSNESS to keep me in fear phobias when I am at PEACE with God. That is the PATH OF LIFE I follow, to have COMMUNION, which is the FELLOWSHIP that enhances RELATIONSHIP with God. It SAVES me from ERRORS and SELF AFFLICTION and IGNORANCE in dealing with matters of life in my GODLY LIVING in Christ Jesus stead – Psalms 16:11; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28. Matthew 22:29; Acts 17:30-31.

** THE ACT TO PLEASE GOD – PRINCIPLE 2: Spend your synergy to LIVE and WALK in the Spirit by your spirit and not in the FLESH – SENSES. Galatians 5:25.

To LIVE and WALK in the Spirit is another ACT you MUST know and start DOING while you stop right now living and walking in the flesh – by your SENSES, if you MUST PLEASE God in order to enjoy the scriptural rights and privileges of Proverbs 16:7 and Hebrews 11:6, in conjunction with the enjoined Scriptures of Romans 8:1-4, 8.

Romans 8:1-4, 8 states that those who are – that is, LIVE and WALK in the FLESH CANNOT PLEASE God. What then does it mean to LIVE and WALK in the FLESH? It means to live and walk in your FIVE SENSES directives in opposition to doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY with God in SCRIPTURAL CONTEXT. And herein, are what the FLESH (SENSES) segments consist of:

** Hearing (Hear)

** Seeing (See)

** Smelling (Smell)

** Tasting (Taste)

** Feeling/Touching (Feel/Touch)

People who live and walks by the indulgence and guidance of their FIVE SENSES satisfies the lusts and affections of the flesh. And such CANNOT PLEASE God no matter what their intents are. For by the DEEDS of the FLESH shall no man LIVE, PREVAIL and be JUSTIFIED before God as says the Scripture – Romans 3:20; Romans 8:13, 28-30.

They are always CONSEQUENCES and EFFECTS of living and walking in the FLESH – five senses. Therefore, DON’T BE A SENSE-RULED or BODY-RULED BELIEVER – if you must PLEASE God. Let your SENSES be sensitized by God’s WORD as Hebrews 5:14 enjoined.

And if you feel Otherwise you can ASK:

*** EVE of Genesis about the effect of the sight (to behold of the eyes) of the fruit in the garden of Eden;

*** ESAU about the smell and taste of porridge that cause his lost to his birthright because of his brother’s – JACOB – porridge;

*** King SAUL of losing his throne towards the harkening his ear in hearing and listening to the voice of the people in making sacrifice ahead of Prophet SAMUEL arrival and instructions;

*** Prophet SAMUEL about tying to anoint ELIAB as a King instead of DAVID by sight in JESSE’S house and God’s rebuke in his trying to do so;

*** King DAVID about the death of a non LEVITE’S who touch the ARK to help carry it against divine process;

*** Yourself of other such like SENSE ACTS in the Holy Writ not mentioned.

HOW THEN DO WE PLEASE GOD IN ESSENCE:

The Scripture of Hebrews 11:6 says that WITHOUT an ACT of FAITH we CANNOT PLEASE GOD. Really? YES! Faith is ACTING accordingly on what you BELIEVE on GOD’S WORD in context. It thus means FAITH is of God’s WORD. Meaning No WORD – No FAITH, for FAITH comes by the WORD – Romans 10:17, Hebrews 11:1-3.

The WORD of God is spiritual, victorious and triumphant in everyway in every cause. Meaning FAITH is spiritual, victorious and triumphant – 1 John 5:3-5, 2 Corinthians 2:14.

Then to exercise FAITH life in order to PLEASE GOD, one needs to LIVE and WALK in the Spirit. Only by the Holy Spirit CAN one ONLY live FAR ABOVE the lusts and affections of the flesh – SENSES. Galatians 5:24-25.

Living by the SPIRIT is living by the WORD of God. When you develop a living in the Spirit by your spirit consciousness, then can you LIVE and WALK in the SPIRIT by your spirit consciousness.

Do you know and understand what it means to live in the Spirit by your spirit-consciousness to enhance your Spirit Walk by your spirit-consciousness? If you don’t, the FLESH-SENSE living will keep you at WAR in your being as the Scripture enjoins in Galatians 5:16, 24 and James 4:1-3.

Therefore, if you must PLEASE God – then LIVE and WALK in the Spirit by the WORD OF GOD through FAITH. For we WALK by FAITH SENSE and not by SIGHT – FLESH SENSE – 2 Corinthians 5:7. And anything done outside FAITH ACTS is Sin, so enjoined the scripture of Romans 14:23. Sin then means UNBELIEVE toward God in Christ Jesus stead. That is, for any not to BELIEVE on God’s WORD as it is and ACT accordingly in Christ Jesus stead.

If you want and must PLEASE GOD, LIVE and WALK in the Spirit and not in your SENSES that you might access God’s PEACE even in the midst of your acclaimed enemy (enemies) and cohorts (More on this is in my later upcoming Book – “Being Divinely Led Of God”).

The LOVE of the FIVE SENSES: It Can’t Fathom The Divine God of LOVE – Nor His Kind of Divine LOVE!

The Five senses love speaks of the NATURAL – SENSUAL man who operates by material sensory of FEELING, TASTING, SMELLING, HEARING and SEEING, to make a concise conclusions in order to ensure it’s definition in love.

This FIVE SENSES LOVE requires laboratory test of men for approval, and as such:

** It’s limited and

** It’s subject to change depending on the public poll of acceptance.

** It’s always awaiting all the time for the acknowledging and approval in – friendship, family, work and in places of governance, doing life and such like.

** It’s built of and on human selfishness even though its not easily acknowledge or spoken of as if it is or not.

** It’s based on conditionality in expression

** It’s based on sentiments in nearly all it’s intent.

And because the five senses love is natural and sensual, it can’t fathom the divine God of love nor God personified in His divine kind of love, hence – LAWS and RULES are made to regulate it with CHANGES in times to suit the human demand and supply.

And unfortunately, the SENSE love kind, could be deadly when not fully actualised, as many have been disappointed, derailed, depressed, suicidal and some even passed on untimely, when the expected expectations didn’t materialised and or come to fruition.

There’s the need to KNOW The LOVE Of Christ Which PASSES and TRANSCENDS SENSE Knowledge if you must make sense of God’s personified divine LOVE.

“Now we have RECEIVED, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. . . 14 But the NATURAL MAN receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED” 1 Corinthians 2:12, 14.

“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] CAUSES ALL THINGS TO WORK TOGETHER [as a plan] for good for those who LOVE God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose” Romans 8:28. Amplified.

THE EASIEST WAY TO KNOWING GOD’S WILL AND TO TRIUMPH: THIS IS BY PRESENTING YOUR BODIES (FLESH – SENSES) TO GOD!

I do know that every Believers in Christ wants to live triumphantly and experience EASIEST way to their daily TRIUMPH; also, to KNOW the HOW operative principle in God’s WILL for their life in grace without obstructions.

Being a GOSPEL Minister, have given me such rare privilege to know relatively, the questions and the feelings of people who struggles day to day to ensure that they are at peace within themselves, especially on matters affecting their personal relationship with God; and in the how they do life with others and in carrying out their daily earthly affairs. Unknown to some, the solution and matters are simple – it’s to PRESENT YOUR BODIES AS A LIVING SACRIFICES UNTO GOD.

But How can one present one’s BODIES?

To present your BODIES simply means to hand over your SENSES which makes you BODY-RULED or FLESH-RULED towards God, instead of being SPIRIT-RULED or WORD-RULED. The human body is functional by the operation of the FIVE SENSES:

These senses are –

** Sight (Seeing),

** Hear (Hearing/Listening),

** Taste (Tasting),

** Feel (Feeling) or Touch (Touching) and

** Smell (Smelling).

These five senses have made and unmade humanity in various shape. It’s of these senses that man failed and fall in the first place with God and himself. And many are still in such a great danger in their daily walk with God.

The scriptures enjoined us to WALK by FAITH SENSE – that’s by the WORD sense, for FAITH is functional by the WORD, it comes be the WORD and it’s build up by the WORD; hence we should not WALK by SIGHT – SENSE (Five Senses).

More so, FAITH IS SPIRITUAL, and it’s of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, PRESENTING YOUR SENSES TO BE SPIRIT-LED, will ensure EASE and TRIUMPH in knowing and operating in God’s precious – GOOD, ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT (wholesome, mature and complete) WILL for your life unhindered. Amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT – ‘MORTIFY’ – PUT THE FLESH TO DEATH: BEFORE BED TIME – FOR YOUR NEW DAY IS COME!

Until King Uzziah died, there was no NEW DAY and HEADWAY for Prophet Isaiah to experience an UPWARD, INWARD and OUTWARD path to thrive, shine and become; and to live meaningfully and purposefully; and to be fulfilled in LIFE and GRACE – Ministry.

King Uzziah was a symbol of the flesh in the way of Prophet Isaiah. The consequence and effect was that Prophet Isaiah though a great Prophet to be and in making, could not move FORWARD and ONWARDS with God from Chapter One to Chapter Five. But as soon as his king Uzziah gives way in Chapter Six, he was able to witness and experience the three dimensional phase of God’s dealings –  UPWARD, INWARD and OUTWARD; that change his LIFE and MINISTRY perception of God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT to enable him become that great Prophet that he was born of God to be in LIFE and GRACE.

Until you motify, that is, put to death the act and deeds of the FLESH – what you SEE, FEEL, SMELL, TASTE and HEAR – it will be difficult to explore, innovate, create and initiate life with God. For by the deeds of the flesh shall no man be JUSTIFIED in the sight of God.

God wants you to experience His onward and upward plan Purpose and pursuits, but you must have a look – UPWARD, INWARD AND OUTWARD as Prophet Isaiah, to make it happen for you. It’s what you do intentionally and responsibly in order to be accountable in the grace wherein to stand in Christ Jesus stead – unashamed, unafraid and emboldened.

DO DESIRE TO PLEASE GOD: LIVE & WALK IN THE SPIRIT!

I know to what extent most of us in the Christian Faith DO lots and loads in the name of PLEASING (and wanting to PLEASE) God.

Some of us we let go our precious TIME, FINANCE and EFFORT EXERTION (Physical & Mental) to ensure that the CAUSE and CAUSES of God and humanity are doing great.

Honestly all these seems good; but do our ACTS of DOING them really PLEASE God? What then is the ACTS to PLEASE God?

Foremost, one GREAT ACT about PLEASING God is that you spent little or no energy at all on your enemy and or enemies if you think you have one because God causes them to be at PEACE with you. In my own terms, He makes them to WORK for your good instead of been at WAR with you – Proverbs 16:7. Don’t you like that? Because I Do.

Is it not gracious that instead of having mental, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual TORTURE of the known and unknown enemy (enemies) with endless meetings of prayer and fasting, and night vigils, that you spent it PLEASING God who takes care of that department for you as the Scripture of Proverbs 16:7 enjoined.

That’s what I enjoy doing and wants you to know and enjoy likewise in Christ Jesus. Hence no more enemy (enemies) WORRIES, ANXIOUSNESS and CONSCIOUSNESS. They are always consequences and effects of living and walking in the FLESH – five senses. DON’T BE A SENSE RULE BELIEVER – if you must PLEASE God. Let your SENSES be sensitized by God’s WORD as Hebrews 5:14 enjoined. If you feel Otherwise you can:

*** Ask EVE of Genesis about the effect of the sight (good to behold of the eyes) of the fruit in the garden of Eden;

*** Ask ESAU about the smell and taste of porridge on his lost to birthright because of his brother JACOB porridge;

*** Ask King SAUL of losing his throne towards the harkening his ear in hearing and listening to the voice of the people in making sacrifice ahead of Prophet SAMUEL arrival instructions;

*** Ask Prophet SAMUEL about tying to anoint ELIAB as a King instead of DAVID by sight in JESSE’S house and God’s rebuke in his trying to do so;

*** Ask King DAVID about the death of a non LEVITE’S who touch the ARK to help carry it against divine process;

*** And many such likes SENSE ACTS in the Holy Writ.

HOW THEN DO WE PLEASE GOD?

The Scripture of Hebrews 11:6 says that WITHOUT an ACT of FAITH we CANNOT PLEASE GOD. Really? Yes! Faith is ACTING on what you BELIEVE on GOD’S WORD. It thus means FAITH is of God’s WORD. Meaning No WORD – No FAITH, for FAITH comes by the WORD – Romans 10:17.

The WORD of God is spiritual and triumphant. Meaning FAITH is spiritual and triumphant – 1 John 5:3-5. Then to exercise FAITH life in order to PLEASE GOD, one needs to LIVE and WALK in the Spirit. Only by the Holy Spirit CAN one ONLY live FAR ABOVE the lusts and affections of the flesh – SENSES.

Living by the SPIRIT is living by the WORD of God. When you develop a living in the Spirit by your spirit consciousness, then can you WALK in the SPIRIT by your spirit consciousness.

Do you know and understands what it means to live in the Spirit by your consciousness to enhance your Spirit Walk by your spirit consciousness? If you don’t, the FLESH – SENSE living will keep you at war in your being as the Scripture enjoins in Galatians 5:16, 24 and James 4:1-3.

Therefore, if you must PLEASE God – then LIVE and WALK in the Spirit by the WORD OF GOD through FAITH. For we walk by Faith and not by five senses – 2 Corinthians 5:7. And anything done outside FAITH ACTS is Sin, so enjoined the scripture of Romans 14:23. Sin then means UNBELIEVE towards God. That is, for any not to BELIEVE on God’s WORD as it is and ACT accordingly.

If you wants and must PLEASE GOD, LIVE and WALK in the Spirit and not in your SENSES that you might access God’s PEACE even in the midst of your acclaimed enemy (enemies).

“When a man’s ways PLEASE the Lord, he maketh even his ENEMIES to be at PEACE with him” Proverbs 16:7.

“This I say then, WALK in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh . . . 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the AFFECTIONS and LUSTS. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:16, 24-25.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who WALK not after the FLESH, but after the Spirit . . . 8 So then they that are in the FLESH CANNOT PLEASE God” Romans 8:1-8.

“From whence come WARS AND FIGHTINGS among you? come they not hence, even of your LUSTS that WAR in your members? 2 Ye LUST, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and CANNOT OBTAIN: ye FIGHT AND WAR, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your LUST” James 4:1-3.
