HAVING FAITH IN GOD

HAVING FAITH IN GOD: IS HAVING FAITH IN HIS WORD!

To have FAITH in God, is to have FAITH in His WORD. To have FAITH in His WORD is to first BELIEVE in His WORD. To BELIEVE in His WORD is to HEAR His WORD and ACT – CONCEIVE accordingly to His WORD. Therefore, FAITH IS ACTING ACCORDINGLY ON WHAT YOU BELIEVE (CONCEIVE) OF THE HEARING OF GOD’S WORD.

Mountains can be levelled or made a plain, Valleys can be exalted or filled, Crooked Road can be made strait and Rough Places in life can be made smooth, when we BELIEVE on What God had said by His WORD about that matter, then ACT accordingly on it.

YOU DON’T NEED TO FAKE IT TO MAKE IT OR UNTIL YOU MAKE IT. There’s no room to fake or dilute or adulterate God’s WORD to make it. Just BELIEVE and act on it accordingly, then your miraculous needs will be answered effortless.

UNBELIEF is a killer disease to RECEIVING from God. I mean UNBELIEF to the WORD of God. BELIEVE is of the heart (human spirit) and not of the head (Five Senses). It’s heart knowledge and not head (senses) knowledge.

THREE REASONS TO CRAVE FOR THE WORD:

  1. FAITH can only COME by the HEARING of the WORD of God, that is needed to plight in life; and to thrive meaningfully, purposefully and fulfilling – Romans 10:17; Amos 8:11-14; Galatians 3:2-6.
  2. The WORD is of the TRINITY in the Heaven or Heavenly places where your expected blessing are located and comes to you by FAITH – 1 John 5:7; John 1:1-7, 14; Ephesians 1:3.
  3. The Holy Angels, supposedly the ministering agents of God that are there to convey your blessings to you from the heavens, ONLY RESPONDS, that is, ATTENDS or HARKENS to the VOICE of God’s WORD and not to a mere tears or sentiments and emotions – Psalms 103:20, Hebrews 1:7, 14.

Know for sure and sure that FAITH is ACTING accordingly on what you BELIEVE (CONCEIVE) as a CONSEQUENCE of the HEARING of God’s WORD.

Therefore, THINK. PONDER. MEDITATE.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your UNBELIEF: for verily I say unto you, If ye have FAITH as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall SAY unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and NOTHING shall be IMPOSSIBLE unto you” Matthew 17:19-20.

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not DOUBT IN HIS HEART, but shall BELIEVE that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” Hebrews 11:22-24.

“But what saith it? THE WORD is nigh thee, even in THY MOUTH, and in THY HEART: that is, the WORD OF FAITH, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt CONFESS with THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH unto righteousness; AND WITH THE MOUTH confession is made unto salvation . . . 17 So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD” Romans 10:8-10, 17.

BEING DISCIPLINED THROUGH GOD’S MIRROR OF LOVE: IT’S GOD’S LOVE PACT FOR HIS REDEEMED CHILDREN!

“And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, do not DESPISE the CHASTENING of the Lord, Nor be DISCOURAGED when you are REBUKED by Him; 6 For whom the Lord LOVES He CHASTENS, And SCOURGES every son whom He RECEIVES. 7 If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not CHASTEN?” Hebrews 12:5-7.

God LOVES You – you must ENDURE His DISCIPLINES when it SHOWS up – it’s for your OWN good and goodness in Christ Jesus stead. For God only discipline those He loves to bring out the best out of them for their fruitful character and behaviour in the grace. Discipline is God’s way of pruning us to be fruitful inn His will and purpose.

“I am the true vine, and my father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that BEARETH NOT FRUIT HE TAKETH AWAY: and every branch that BEARETH FRUIT, he PURGETH it, that it may BRING FORTH MORE FRUIT. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing . . . 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye BEAR MUCH FRUIT; so shall ye be my disciples . . 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” John 15:1-16.

Living and walking in God’s love also connotes, endorses, embraces and embodies the act of being DISCIPLINED. Meaning God will discipline any of His REDEEMED children whom He loves, in order to bring out His very best in them and to give them the living worth they crave. This is part of the LOVE PACT of God.

The reason being that the redemptive LIBERTY, that is, the FREEDOM in Christ Jesus is not an OCCASION for one to live and walk in the flesh or sin, instead, it’s to LIVE and WALK in GOD’S LOVE. Simply put, there’s nothing like or as ‘it doesn’t matter what I do, as long as God loves me’. NO, it does matter, because those that God LOVES, He DISCIPLINE them, except they are bastards or illegitimate children, which you are not.

“If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not CHASTEN?  8 But if you are without CHASTENING, of which all have BECOME PARTAKERS, then you are ILLEGITIMATE and not sons” Hebrews 12:7-8.

It’s my earnest PRAYERS that you live within the LOVE of God in Christ Jesus stead; and for any reason that you detailed anyway, may you be able to take on the discipline of God without a fight, so that you can have the fulness of God that’s at work for your good in every way. 1 John 1:5-10.

God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in His love through discipline in the grace and faith our Saviour, Lord and King, Jesus Christ. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For if we would JUDGE (EXAMINE) ourselves, we should not be JUDGED (EXAMINE). 32 But when we are JUDGED (EXAMINED), we are CHASTENED of the Lord, that we should not be CONDEMNED with the world” 1 Corinthians 11:31-32 (Emphasis Mine).

“STAND FAST therefore in the LIBERTY wherewith Christ hath MADE US FREE, and be not ENTANGLED again with the YOKE OF BONDAGE . . . For, brethren, ye have been called unto LIBERTY; only use not liberty for an OCCASION to the flesh, but by LOVE serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye BITE and DEVOUR one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, WALK in the Spirit, and ye shall not FULFIL the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law” Galatians 5:1, 13-18.

“This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection]. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. 8 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude ourselves and the truth is not in us. [His word does not live in our hearts.] 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose]. 10 If we say that we have not sinned [refusing to admit acts of sin], we make Him [out to be] a liar [by contradicting Him] and His word is not in us” 1 John 1:5-10 Amplified.

BE NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL

BE NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL: LIVE OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE!

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not thou therefore ASHAMED of the TESTIMONY OF OUR LORD, NOR OF ME HIS PRISONER: but be thou PARTAKER of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 who hath SAVED us, and CALLED us with an HOLY CALLING, not according to our works, but according to his own PURPOSE and GRACE, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10 but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath ABOLISHED death, and hath brought LIFE and IMMORTALITY to light through the GOSPEL: 11 whereunto I am APPOINTED a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I AM NOT ASHAMED: for I KNOW whom I have BELIEVED, and am PERSUADED that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day” 2 Timothy 1:7-12.

One day, I worked into a grocery shopping building to make purchases of some few items for the family. While going through the isle’s I cast my mind at a distance on a Christian Brother whom I know too well and coincidentally worship together in same multicultural Church in my early days in a new Mission City. Not realising he has seen me earlier and for his own obvious reasons, was hiding away from me behind one of the structural pillars that holds the grocery building, which I later realised he was hiding away from identifying with me in grace [by the Gospel of common salvation] and in life in Christ Jesus stead, because of colour and race in the public while in church he acts as brethren. And this is very much unfortunate and contrary to faith and grace in Christ Jesus, as Apostle Paul did squarely admonished Timothy not to be ashamed of the Gospel nor of him in the grace and life [2 Timothy 1:7-12]; he knows full well that our redemption in Christ Jesus stead, is way beyond tongue, kindred, race, colour, nation and such like, in the faith and in life as the Scriptures here but not limited did addressed.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every KINDRED, and TONGUE, and PEOPLE, and NATION; 10 and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith . . . 26 For ye are ALL the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is NEITHER Jew nor Greek, there is NEITHER bond nor free, there is NEITHER male nor female: for ye are ALL one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29.

And unfortunately for the beloved brother that’s hiding away from me, I was not going to tolerate such attitude which is contrary to the Gospel of Christ, just as Apostle Paul took a measure of note on Apostle Peter for such behaviour too as in the Holy Writ of Galatians 2:11-16 (1-21).

“. . . 11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I WITHSTOOD him to the face, because he was to be BLAMED. 12 For before that CERTAIN came from James, he did EAT with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he WITHDREW and SEPARATED himself, FEARING them which were of the CIRCUMCISION. 13 And the OTHER JEWS DISSEMBLED LIKEWISE WITH HIM; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their DISSIMULATION. 14 But when I saw that they WALKED NOT UPRIGHTLY according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why COMPELLEST thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is NOT JUSTIFIED by the WORKS of the law, but by the FAITH of Jesus Christ, even we have BELIEVED in Jesus Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall NO FLESH be justified . . .” Galatians 2:1-21.

I walked up toward this Beloved Brother to exchange greetings. WHY MUST I HAVE TO DO THAT? Considering I could see he is hiding behind the pillars from identifying with me as one ever known in public place, while in Church gathering meetings he pretends we are same in a building with hugs and hand shakes. I wanted him to know that in the Kingdom of God and of His Christ Jesus, who is the head of His Church, that there is no race of being Black or White Believer’s in Christ Jesus in any form of being called Christian’s or in Christianity. There is no Jew not Greek, male or female and such like by any means – and should not be tolerated or welcome or accorded any of such sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation.

For our God is a Spirit and those that worthily WORSHIP and acceptably SERVE Him, does it in SPIRIT and TRUTH and not in colours of the skin, race, gender, status and more. [John 4:19-24; Philippians 3:3]. Meaning, in the REALM of the Spirit worship and services of God in Christ Jesus, neither of the brother intent to hide away from me should ever exist because of the colour of the skin. His UNDERSTANDING in that moment indicates that within the Church building we could greet and hug as brethren, but beyond that, the Gospel is not in operation to relate as brethren outside the doors. When I met him, I shook hands and exchanged greetings asking him of his family and such like to break that misnomer circus that contradict the GOSPEL of Christ Jesus. Being hopeful that he KNOWS and understands that what he did was unnecessary for him and me before the world that needs the gospel today and right now. And since then, we’ve seen severally in other occasions and greeted,  and our fellowship to enhance our relationship in Christ Jesus, has been healthy and gracious [Romans 3:28-30; Romans 9:23-25; Galatians 3:26-29; Galatians 5:1, 6, 13-18]. And so has Apostle Paul also wrote to the Churches Rome in the book of Romans as written:

“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE JEW AND THE GREEK: for the SAME Lord OVER ALL is rich unto all that CALL upon him. 13 For WHOSOEVER shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED” Romans 10:11-13.

On the contrary, there are many today, whose Gospel of Christ Jesus only exist within the Church building and only amongst their own colour or race or tradition or tongues and such like. And some are ASHAMED also, of being noted in their place of work or doing life that they are Christians and seriously believing followers of Jesus Christ. They bury their head in the sand as the Ostrich, not necessarily because they are being questioned, but they see it as being antisocial and not cool enough in behaviour, for them to take a stand in Christ Jesus stead in public domain; and yet, they will tolerate someone misbehaviour and indecent gesture and behaviour before and about them without rebuking it. HOW COMFORTABLE AND COOL IS THAT! That’s okay for you to accommodate indecent behaviour without question about you, and can’t say to such with the attitude  and intolerance behaviour, that the acts is unwelcome in your world of doing life, just because you don’t want to be labelled a fanatics, religious bigots or any such like name they choose to call you in that environment. Forgetting that Jesus Christ was called numerous names in His humanity, while on the PATH to fulfil PURPOSE – “OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE“, which brought our salvation and deliverance in His redemption did and deed for our complete freedom.

 

Are you ASHAMED of the GOSPEL? Are you ASHAMED to TESTIFY to others of your FAITH when it matters?  Are you ASHAMED of your fellow Believer’s in Christ Jesus stead? How many times have you seen those we love dearly and care about passed on without Christ Jesus born in their hearts towards God in Christ Jesus. How comfortable are you then watching opportunities slips away of sharing the Gospel truth to a friend or colleague or family member of the goodness of your God in Christ Jesus stead. HELL is real and HEAVEN is real, knowingly or unknowingly. The Gospel is not about being religious or coming into the building called Church or the Church. The Gospel is the POWER of God for human salvation and liberation; and it’s irrespective of colour, race, status, tongue and such like as it’s written:

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of EVERY KINDRED, AND TONGUE, AND PEOPLE, AND NATION; 10 and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16 FOR I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST: FOR IT IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” Romans 1:15-17.

Therefore, take a look INWARD and ask yourself if you are a promoter of the Gospel of Christ Jesus causes or ashamed of being a part of him in the first place. And why watch your love one’s and those you dearly care about ends in life without Christ Jesus, because the GOSPEL of Christ wasn’t made known to their reach.

“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels” Mark 8:35-38.

“So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16 FOR I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST: FOR IT IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” Romans 1:15-17.

“As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed” Romans 9:33.

“Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s. 8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: 9 that I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters” 2 Corinthians 10:7-9.

 

“Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. 14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth. 15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him” 2 Timothy 7:13-15.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be Not Thou Therefore Ashamed OF THE TESTIMONY OF OUR LORD, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began” 2 Timothy 1:7-9.

“Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness” 2 Timothy 2:14-16.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 and patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” Romans 5:1-5.

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? 26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels. 27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God” Luke 9:23-27.

FEEDING YOUR SPIRIT BEING

FEEDING YOUR SPIRIT BEING: WHEN NO ONE IS LOOKING!

Today, I decided to go to our monthly TEACHING publication websites – ACHIEVERS FAITH DIGEST – to feed my spirit being out of it with a publication that was pressing on and on in my spirit. Blessedly, I stumble at the publication which was AFD FEBRUARY 2021 EDITION entitled “GOD’S BATTLE AXE & WEAPONS OF WAR”. Then I came to a section called FAITH IN PRACTICE, to read a write up written by my wife Faith, that is entitled “KEEP AT IT . . .”.

Though it was a short writ, yet, it was so inspiring, revealing and empowering that I stopped momentarily to ponder over the writ for a while; then I beckoned on her to come to the Office for a reading while I leave the vicinity to get on doing what she was doing for her to at least compensate; she was unaware while I called her to come to read something for herself with an instruction of not saying anything back to me afterward, just as I didn’t say anything about it to her for each to make individual work of grace on it respectively. She came to the office as expected and did read the writ twice as I did ask her to do. I guess she might have read it more than twice because she stayed longer than I thought considering it’s a short writ knowing her proficiency to reading; and she later came off the office in awe and I looked at her face knowing some awakening and good is going on just as I felt too.

Having said the above, I felt constrained to put it up in my spirit to give someone here something to ponder about. I pray you will be blessed by this piece of writ by my wife FAITH entitled:

KEEP AT IT . . .

Choose to work smart than to work hard. Diligence involves working consistently in order to gain a valuable skill.

If you want to learn to play the piano, 15 minutes a day, each day of practice is much more beneficial than two hours on one day, and then another one a half hour a few days later followed by an hour the following week and so on. In-fact, this is what a music teacher is likely to advise you to do. In my case, evidently as I felt that I didn’t have enough time to practice every day, I did it whenever I could. Ages later – I still couldn’t play a reasonable tune. Wasted time and effort. Be consistent, be diligent, be intentional in your bid to become a master in a skill.

In the same way – because the goal for you as a child of God is a great relationship with Father God, spend quality time in fellowship and prayer rather than binge prayer sessions now and again or when the need arises. This normally refers to when people have a problem and frantically seek for answers. God is still faithful, but you are not doing yourself any favours. You could have a healthy, fulfilling relationship that would be of benefit to your whole life.

Psalm 16:11 . . . You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Hebrews 11:6 . . . for whoever comes [near] to God must necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Proverbs 22:29 . . . Do you see a man skillful and experienced in his work? He will stand [in honour] before kings; He will not stand before obscure men.

Short, quality periods in conversation with the Lord are effective in growing in your spiritual walk and life. You can spend a lot of time too – but do this all the time and KEEP AT IT. On a daily basis for example. The good thing is that you do not need a designated venue, position or time – or to face a particular direction at a certain volume. Right where you are is good enough. Daily strategic reading and studying of the Word of God is beneficial – if 20 minutes is all you have to begin with, start there and then keep doing it. Wake up earlier if that is possible, schedule your time to fit your devotional time. Invest time into a flourishing spiritual walk.

The spirit that conquers is the one that vows to get the job done, starts and keeps at it until it is done. There may be challenges along the way, but the key is in keeping at it and not giving up.

Matthew 6:33 . . . seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness

Hebrews 5:14 . . . Solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Diligence means to work smart – not work hard – Other examples of the benefits of consistency and diligence are:

  • Being on a diet. Don’t be on diet as it were – but choose for it to be a lifestyle. It then means that it is not for a limited period – it becomes a lifestyle and is for lifetime.
  • A 4-hour exercise session once a week or month cannot take place of daily exercise. Fitness trainers will tell you that 30 minutes a day for 5 days of the week is more effective than exercising here and there for long periods of time.
  • Drinking your daily allowance of water – say 2 litres all in one go is neither healthy nor beneficial. Spread it out, that is how healthy absorption is attained.

So be diligent; be consistent. There is great reward in it.

HAPPY & BLESSED FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY: FATHERHOOD & FATHERING – It’s Spelt LOVE – 24/7!

Thank you, Father God, For the FATHER’S DAY

FATHERHOOD – It’s a Calling and Commission with responsibility and accountability under God; not understanding this principle makes parenting a joke, but not with God.

The Fatherhood of God is spelt L-O-V-E, which is above all things,  and it’s gracious, graceful, bright and beautiful. And as God’s children, every father should spell LOVE in their hearts, thoughts and prayers with love 24/7 in relation to the child/children under their care in Christ Jesus stead.

“And we have known and believed the LOVE that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in LOVE dwelleth in God, and God in him” 1 John 4:16.

“One God and FATHER of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” Ephesians 4:6.

FATHERHOOD and FATHERING – it’s a gracious and graceful RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY with God; for any man can be a DAD or DADDY, but to be a FATHER it’s more than a Dad or Daddy’s fun; it’s a Calling and commission with principled map under God.

I pray God’s GRACE, WISDOM and BLESSEDNESS to abound more and more to all FATHER’S there.

Have and enjoy in Christ Jesus stead – A HAPPY and BLESSED Father’s Day!

MAY YOU THRIVE, FIND MEANINGFUL PURPOSE AND FULFILMENT IN THIS CAUSE; AND ALWAYS REMEMBERING LOVE IS MADE BEAUTIFUL – EVEN IN FATHER’S HEARTS.

HAPPY & BLESSED FATHER’S DAY:  FATHERHOOD AND FATHERING SUNDAY TO ALL FATHER’S!

“For this cause I BOW MY KNEES unto the FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 1:14-15.

Thank you Father God for being first our heavenly and earthly Father and for all the Father’s there, and that are doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead, Amen.

I wish all Father’s and intending one’s a very Happy and Blessed Father’s day in this day FATHERHOOD AND FATHERING SUNDAY. May God gives you the fortitude, the enabling grace, wisdom and speed to be relevant in both life and godliness, to being a FATHER indeed. For the FATHERHOOD AND FATHERING IS A 24/7 AFFAIRS.

May you ALWAYS remember that any male can be a DAD, but to be a FATHER is a special call to dedication and commitment with the HEARTFELT love, care and instructions; it’s not that of the mere HEAD-STRONG will and actions of uncontrollable temperament. I therefore pray for you today, that God gives you meaningful fulfilment in all your labours in fathering your child/children; and an ever increasing wisdom and grace to keep on keeping on in this rare role of faithfulness in every way by Christ Jesus. I sincerely pray, that God will find us ever faithful in the responsibility and accountability of the principle of fatherhood and fathering, and say His goodness of us, as He said of father Abraham in the Holy Writ.

I pray God will COUNT and ACCOUNT on you as He did to Abraham with awesome TESTIMONY of fatherhood as it’s written in the holy writ:

“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him” Genesis 18:19.

May you know today that FATHERHOOD and FATHERING is not a CURSE but a place of the BLESSEDNESS of God that encompasses BEAUTY, LOVE, GRACE, WISDOM and such like. And In the Light of Ephesians 3:14-21, I BOW MY KNEES and PRAY for you as a Father and all intending to be father’s into our Father God, in the light of the Scripture as Apostle Paul DID, on the BEHALF of the Ephesians Church:

“For this cause I BOW MY KNEES unto the FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named, 16 that he would GRANT YOU, according to the riches of his glory, to be STRENGTHENED with might by his Spirit in the INNER MAN; 17 that Christ may DWELL in your HEARTS by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 may be able to COMPREHEND with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 and to KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, which PASSETH KNOWLEDGE, that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God. 20 Now unto him that is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ASK or THINK, according to the POWER THAT WORKETH IN US, 21 unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen” Ephesians 3:14-21.

Thank you FATHER God, for the enabling grace and BLESSEDNESS, to be both a Father and Grandfather at this phase of my life. Truly grateful and thankful.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY AND FATHERHOOD SUNDAY: BE BLESSED IN THE GRACE!

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:14-15.

Fatherhood is Family, and family is fellowship, and fellowship ensures relationship and relationship is nurturing. Are you a FATHER? Intending To BECOME? Yes You CAN! But know full well that ANY MAN can be a DAD or DADDY, but to be a FATHER, it takes a heartfelt Labour of LOVE, Work of FAITH, and Patience of HOPE in principle through Diligence, Services, Sacrifices, Commitments, Dedications, Tolerance, Patience, Goodness, Compassion and many more such like. FATHERHOOD is about fellowship to enhance our relationship with God. Adam lost that FATHERHOOD fellowship with God and it caused him the relationship. So, for we the redeemed children of God to actualise SCRIPTURAL FATHERHOOD, think God in fellowship to enhance relationship – meaning think family, where fellowship is nurtured to nurture relationships.

“We give thanks to God ALWAYS for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;  remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, and LABOUR OF LOVE, and PATIENCE OF HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;  knowing, brethren beloved, your ELECTION of God” 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4.

More importantly, being a FATHER it’s about being the VOICE of God in the child or children life’s as  the Patriarch Father of Faith (Abraham) was to theirs, as affirmed of God, in God’s eternal PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT – Genesis 18:19. To be responsible and accountable to God as such, being a Father it’s MUCH MORE THAN the material, physical, social and emotional provisions and supports, but also involve the gracious and graceful spiritual support in these ways:

  1. You are God’s PRIEST to stand in the gap in prayers before God, and to minister to God for family in all things.
  2. And as a PROPHET to hear from God on all matters of life and godly living for family.
  3. And as a KING to protect and defend your family from the enemy and cohorts against your family good and goods on earth, in Christ stead.

Let me recap again to you, to always remember dear father and the intended to become, that any man can be a Dad or Daddy, but to be a Father in a fatherly and fatherhood tasks, that it takes a heart-felt love of diligence, services, sacrifices, commitments and more. It’s about being the voice of God in the child or children lives as  the Patriarch Father of Faith – Abraham, whom our Father God could commend and affirm his fatherly and fatherhood path. [Genesis 18:19].

May our God, the Father of all flesh and spirit, Father you with the enabling grace and wisdom to father all that concerns you in fatherhood.

Do have a wonderful and blessed Father’s Day and a fatherly fatherhood celebration in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

GOD’S POWER AND GRACE THROUGH AGAPE LOVE: IT’S GOD’S VITALITY FOR ONE TO WIN AND TRIUMPH IN LIFE AND GODLY LIVING!

“And when they had PRAYED, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all FILLED with the Holy Ghost, and they spake THE WORD of God with BOLDNESS . . . 33 And with GREAT POWER gave the apostles WITNESS of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and GREAT GRACE was upon them all” Acts 4:31, 33.

God’s love – AGAPE, it’s the vitality you need to do life and live through any phase of human endeavours by FAITH. The reason being that the LOVE of God is SHED abundantly and lavishly spread abroad in our HEARTS [the human spirit]  by the Holy Ghost, and it’s not of our head else it’s PERVERSION; and God has COMMENDED His LOVE toward us in Christ Jesus, which is makes it awesome and graciously gracious.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . .8 But God commendeth His LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8.

As you kick starts life demands today, being another opportunity to THRIVE and not SURVIVE, if you can start LOVING genuinely from the stagnation and famine that you’ve been in God’s AGAPE love, you can then experience the working POWER and GRACE of God that enhances your FAITH to win and triumph in life. For the POWER is too FUNCTION while the GRACE is to make you BECOME of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Herein are some SCRIPTURAL VITALITY OF LOVE for your perusal. Meditate and be blessed:

 Love gives power of initiative, is a giver, sacrificial: John 3:16-17.

Love is the royal law for the redeemed who are a  royal priesthood – kings & priests unto God: James 2:8; Revelation 5:9-10; 1 Peter 2:5, 9.

Love works no ill to self or others and it’s the fulfilment of all God’s commands: ◦Romans 13:8, 10.

There is no hypocrisy or dissemination in love. It sees people through in life and not through people: Romans 12:9 –11; Philippians 2:3-4.

 There’s NO fear in love: 1 John 4:17–18.

Love is the greatest gift in ranking: 1 Corinthians 13:13.

Love is the end of all commandments and above all things: 1 Peter 4:7–9.

Love is the bond of perfection (maturity, completeness): Colossians 3:12–14.

Love is the excellent way to enhance and manifest the Ministerial  and Spiritual gifts; and Character (Fruit) gifts of the Holy Spirit: 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 31 – 13:1-13; Ephesians 4:7-16; Galatians 5:13, 22-25.

Love restores the weak ones back to Faith not an accuser: Galatians 6:1; John 8:1-11; John 4.

Love is the most excellent way to excel and to have overflowing life: 1 Corinthians 12:31.

 Love is considerate: John 15:13.

Love is patient, kind, not boastful or arrogant, not selfish and keeps record of no wrong and more: 1 Corinthians 13.

Love forgives and does not offend: Psalm 119:165.

Love edifies – builds. 1 Corinthians 8:1–3.

Love overlooks a multitude of sins: Proverbs 10:12, 1 Peter 4:8, John 3:16.

Know full well that living in LOVE through the Holy Spirit of LOVE – makes all the difference in doing life and living godly in the grace.

Blessed regards in God’s BLESSEDNESS.

DON’T BE AN ECHO: BE THE VOICE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS – MAKING THE DIFFERENCE!

“For the EYES of the Lord run TO and FRO throughout the whole earth, to SHEW himself STRONG in the behalf of them whose HEART is PERFECT toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars” 2 Chronicles 16:9.

The Holy Scriptures of 2 Corinthians 5:19-21, declares that you are God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus and an ambassador for Christ; Meaning, you are God’s VESSEL OF CHANGE for right living on earth as His Embassy and Ambassador [2 Timothy 2:19-21; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21]. God uses vessels and not ornaments. God needs and uses available vessels to put in His ability into such – in order to make the needed DIFFERENCE in humanity in our world; God does not need vessels that are of self ability that needs not His enabling for the good of others in His stead. Be wise to be that God’s VOICE – making the difference in humanity.

“. . . 20 But in a great house there are not only VESSELS of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to HONOUR, and some to DISHONOUR . . .” 2 Timothy 2:19-21.

Righteousness, the right to stand before God and on His behalf without fear, shame or guilt because of what Christ is done, is wired and imbedded in the DNA of your being, when you resolved to be a born again child of God in Christ Jesus stead. [Romans 5:17-21].

It is this right of grace to be not an echo but a voice that made John the Baptist, be the VESSEL of change to his generation. He dare to be the VOICE for righteousness in the wilderness gathering, and him being of God’s righteousness to give the hope to live in God and through God to others of his time and generation as it’s written:

“. . . The WORD of the Lord CAME to John the son of Zacharias in the WILDERNESS . . . THE VOICE of one CRYING [PREACHING] in the WILDERNESS, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight . . . Then SAID he to the MULTITUDE that CAME FORTH TO BE BAPTIZED OF HIM, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? BRING FORTH THEREFORE FRUITS WORTHY OF REPENTANCE, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire . . .” Luke 3:1-18.

Dear Friend, let us silence the spirit of cowardice in our life’s to our generation for we are God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus; therefore, let us dare to be the VOICE for righteousness in our families, neighbourhood, places of doing life and in our position of noble grace and opportunities.

Endeavour to be APPROVED of God as His VOICE on earth making the DIFFERENCE toward others by God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS rather than being an echo that’s lives on the HYPE and APPLAUD of men for self gratification and ego. God seek for vessels and not ornaments, and for your availability and not ability in Him in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“Ye men of Israel, HEAR THESE WORDS; Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED of God among you by MIRACLES and WONDERS and SIGNS, which God DID by him in the MIDST of you, as ye YOURSELVES also KNOW” Acts 2:22.

“STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING (APPLYING) the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15.

YOU ARE GOD’S EMBASSY AND AMBASSADOR – BE THE VOICE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS – MAKING THE DIFFERENCE IN HUMANITY IN OUR WORLD.

Then be HAPPY, 3 for when the way is ROUGH, your PATIENCE has a chance to GROW. 4 So let it GROW, and don’t try to SQUIRM OUT of your problems. For when your PATIENCE is finally in FULL BLOOM, then you will be READY for anything, STRONG IN CHARACTER, FULL AND COMPLETE” James 1:2-4/Living Bible [TLB].

Sometimes doing life by the book, and the right things as expected in all goodness, may seems to be unfair in some or many occasions; and getting the expected helps to ensure that the good decisions that one have made or to make in order to accomplish the intended plans, purposes and pursuits seems unfounded or eluded. I know the feelings and understand of  such circumstances. And if that’s your circumstances, God is good and faithful, true and sure to answer you in all MATTERS in His grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

However, no matter how unfair doing life and doing the right things may seems to you today, know full well that God will eventually meet you at the point of you need, FOR TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST FOREVER; and as long as you keep on keeping up in Faith, and as one that has a trusting spirit on God’s faithfulness and to His promises, there’s going to be an ANSWER. For being steadfastly and diligence and patience, in the grace through faith, so will God cause to have access to our promise inheritance in Him.

“For God is not UNRIGHTEOUS [UNFAITHFUL, UNGRATEFUL] to forget your WORK and LABOUR of love, which ye have SHEWED toward his name, in that ye have MINISTERED to the saints, and DO MINISTER. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE of hope unto the end: 12 that ye be not SLOTHFUL, but FOLLOWERS of them who through FAITH and PATIENCE INHERIT THE PROMISES” Hebrews 6:10-12/Emphasis Mine.

There’s the need to know full well and be assured, that every challenges has an appointed time, that is to say, there’s an end game time and date set to it under the sun no matter how long it last or stays; the Holy Writ indicates that – the expectations of the one who keeps on keeping up to maintain a right standing with God in trial times will not be cut off as written:

“For SURELY there is an END; and thine EXPECTATION shall not be CUT OFF” Proverbs 23:8.

When you ARE assured and insured as the Patriarch Abraham in God’s faithfulness to His promises, there will be hope against hope, and your tough times will never last forever; more so, God’s divine intervention will cause all things to work together for your good, happiness and peace. So did God to His promise to Abraham. All things eventually came together to a perfect, complete and whole answers to all expectations of God.

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28.

“. . . I have made you a FATHER OF MANY NATIONS, BEFORE WHOM HE BELIEVED, even God . . . Who (Abraham) AGAINST HOPE BELIEVED IN HOPE, that he might be a father of many nations . . . being FULLY PERSUADED that, what He (God) had promised, He was ABLE also to PERFORM . . .” Romans 4:17-25.

So today, no matter how much you’ve war to do the right things and the journey seems long or or longer, you need to keep on keeping up in faith. For faith is the VICTORY to overcome all trials of your journey in order to thrive and be more than conquerors over the world system of doing life that has stood in your path of progress and success. Faith, which is the corresponding action on what you believe on God’s WORD will surely locate you with your expectations as written:

“For WHATSOEVER is BORN of God OVERCOMETH the world: and this is the VICTORY that OVERCOMETH the world, even our FAITH. 5 Who is he that OVERCOMETH the world, but he that BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5.

THERE MAY BE TOUGH TIMES – BUT TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST FOR EVER. THE TOUGH IN FAITH WILL ALWAYS KEEP ON KEEPING ON, EVEN WHEN ALL THINGS COMES TO A HALT.

I pray that our good and faithful, true and sure God, will keep you in grace and strengthen you courageously and keep you keeping on in faith, in Christ Jesus stead – until your BLESSEDNESS in Him is actualised meaningfully and purposefully.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. 3 Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing . . . 12 Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God” [for temptation does not originate from God, but from our own flaws]; for God cannot be tempted by [what is] evil, and He Himself tempts no one. 14 But each one is tempted when he is dragged away, enticed and baited [to commit sin] by his own [worldly] desire (lust, passion)” James 1:2-4, 12-14. “Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation]. 13 No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy]” 1 Corinthians 10:12-3. Amplified.

“CASTING ALL YOUR CARE upon him; for he CARETH for you. 8 Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST in the FAITH, KNOWING THAT THE SAME AFFLICTIONS ARE ACCOMPLISHED IN YOUR BRETHREN THAT ARE IN THE WORLD. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” 1 Peter 5:7-11.

“Let us HOLD FAST the PROFESSION of our FAITH without wavering; (for He is FAITHFUL that promised;) . . . 35 Cast Not Away therefore your CONFIDENCE, which hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye have need of PATIENCE, that, after ye have done the WILL of God, ye might RECEIVE the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall LIVE by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who DRAW BACK unto PERDITION; but of them that BELIEVE to the SAVING of the soul” Hebrews 10:23, 35-39.
