GOD IS FAITHFUL: DARE YOUR FEAR

November 11, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

GOD IS FAITHFUL: DARE YOUR FEAR – TO BECOME THE YOU – IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD BY FAITH!

“For God hath not GIVEN us the spirit of FEAR [INTIMIDATION, COWARDICE, INFERIORITY COMPLEX, FEAR PHOBIAS]; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a SOUND MIND” 2 Timothy 1:7/Emphasis Mine.

Start your daily DAWN Day on a very high note on God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. This is possible when you resolve to daily and now – DARE your FEAR with the FAITH of the grace of God that LIVES within you. This is the only way to BECOME or BE what God in Christ Jesus has made you BE in REDEMPTION, especially in all the challenging times and circumstances that’s before you now or may show up later.

“Forasmuch then as the children are PARTAKERS of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise TOOK PART of the SAME; that through death he might DESTROY him that had the POWER of death, that is, the devil; 15 And DELIVER them who through FEAR of death were all their LIFETIME SUBJECT to BONDAGE” Hebrews 2:14-15.

You must arise in grace and DARE your FEAR with FAITH in God, in God’s WORD, in order to enhance your Now – today and set your tomorrow ready for an Onward and Upward trajectory ALTITUDE. Taking your REDEMPTION stand by God in Christ Jesus stead are for these simple REASONS:

  •  FEAR is the enemy Policing Officer – that is, the policing vehicle of darkness at war to captivate your FAITH of becoming whom God has MADE you to be in Him in Christ Jesus. Amen.

  •  FEAR has the enabling tacts of robbing one of the God’s given potentials and the purpose of accomplishment and fulfilment in all phases of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead.

  •  FEAR creates insecurity, it captivates, robs one of self-esteem, self-defense, self-Worth and dignity.

  •  FEAR has the capacity to destroy life vision and mission.

  •  FEAR can cripple and paralyse you, rob you of hope, faith and love in life and godly living. For it intimidates and makes you inferior or with inferiority complex and filled up with fear phobias.

  •  FEAR can eventually lead to the death of anything be it human or projects, relationships, business and such like.

  •  FEAR is the enemy the devil and cohorts, primary and only major means mode of operandi in their various acts and operations; and you must steadfastly contend and resist them in faith in Christ Jesus stead uncompromisingly.

GOD IS FAITHFUL – DARE YOUR FEAR TO BECOME THE YOU BY GOD IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD BY FAITH. AMEN.

The only way to police fear and keep fear at bay, that is, where it belongs is to DARE it in steadfast FAITH. For FAITH is the VICTORY to overcome the ENEMY and COHORTS in the world sphere where they choose to operate to cast the FEAR spells. And FAITH is acting correspondingly on whom and what you POSSIBLY believe on the WORD of God in God. When you POSSIBLY believe God can make you better and great; and you believe in the cause and course of God’s WORD to make you better and great, FEAR disappears because FAITH has come to take its place in you and to displace the fear phobia. Know for sure that anytime and when FAITH shows up, FEAR is paralysed and crippled from functioning.

“For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES the WORLD. And this is THE VICTORY that has OVERCOME the WORLD — our FAITH. 5 Who is he who OVERCOMES the world, but he who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5/NKJV.

For FAITH is the VICTORY to TRIUMPH your world of daily fear phobia for SECURITY and SELF-WORTH of who you are in God by Christ Jesus; and of what to – eat, drink and put on, and such like – in LIFE and GODLY LIVING. And God has dealt to everyone THE MEASURE of FAITH and THE MEASURE of His enabling GRACE to live life in full – triumphantly and wholly in every way.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath DEALT to EVERY man THE MEASURE of FAITH” Romans 12:3.

“But unto every one of us is GIVEN GRACE according to THE MEASURE of the GIFT of Christ” Ephesians 4:7.

There are over 365 Scriptures of FEAR NOT in the Holy Writ – The BIBLE; and to live in VICTORY over FEAR; thus indicate a more than enough for each day. Therefore, FEAR NOT – that’s the Living and Soaring spirit of the Eagle to rule and reign in DOMINION and EXALTATION in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead.

Jesus had made you free from fear by BECOMING human first, that you by His redemption, might be free, and free indeed from the spirit and bondage of fear in every way and everywhere. DARE NOW TO BE what you are in God in Christ Jesus stead, according to the scriptural writ concerning you in Him. And I therefore say again:

DARE your FEAR with the FAITH of the grace of God that LIVES within you. This is the only way to BECOME or BE what God in Christ Jesus has made you BE in REDEMPTION.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Love has been PERFECTED among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no FEAR in love; BUT PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR, because FEAR involves TORMENT. But he who FEARS has not been MADE perfect in love” 1 John 4:14-15.

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath MADE us MEET [QUALIFIED] to be PARTAKERS of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 who hath DELIVERED us from the POWER of darkness, and hath TRANSLATED us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 in whom we have REDEMPTION through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins” Colossians 1:13-14/Emphasis Mine.

“In whom we have REDEMPTION through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE; 8 wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence” Ephesians 1:7-8.

“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69 and hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70 as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71 that we should be SAVED FROM OUR ENEMIES, AND FROM THE HAND OF ALL THAT HATE US; 72 to PERFORM the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73 the oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74 that he would grant unto us, that we being DELIVERED out of the hand of our enemies might SERVE him WITHOUT FEAR, 75 in holiness and righteousness before him, ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIFE” Luke 1:68-75.

Further Scriptural Meditation: Isaiah 43:1-7; Isaiah 54:14-17; Isaiah 49:24-26; Luke 12:4-7, 22-32.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: LIVING BLESSED

November 11, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

GOD IS FAITHFUL: LIVING BLESSED – TO BE A BLESSING – IS PART OF OUR HIGHER CALLING!

“Now the Lord had SAID unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 and I will make of thee a great nation, AND I WILL BLESS THEE, AND MAKE THY NAME GREAT; AND THOU SHALT BE A BLESSING: 3 and I will BLESS them that BLESS thee, and curse him that curseth thee: AND IN THEE SHALL ALL FAMILIES OF THE EARTH BE BLESSED” Genesis 12:1-3.

To be BLESSED and living a BLESSED life in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead, is to be EMPOWERED in God’s grace to SUCCEED, ACHIEVE, THRIVE, BECOME and such like; and more so, it’s to live MEANINGFULLY and PURPOSEFULLY in every venture and endeavour of life with FULFILMENT, through a gracious and graceful plan, purpose and pursuit in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HATH BLESSED us with all spiritual BLESSINGS in heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3.

“The BLESSING of the Lord, it MAKES RICH, and he ADDS NO SORROW with it” Proverbs 10:22.

Be assured for certainty, that is – knowingly and unknowingly – that you are – BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING, and it’s for the following but not limited REASONS in being BLESSED in the BLESSEDNESS of God are you in these contextual regards:

  •  It is a DONE promised blessing of God in our REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus.

  •  It’s THE BLESSING that’s always enriching, assuring and ensuring – that’s free of fear, sorrow, pain, envy, jealousy, anguish and such like.

  •  The God’s BLESSING is not in a FEELING; it is in the PERCEIVING – that’s of the KNOWING and UNDERSTANDING – and that’s the only way you can BE a BLESSING too.

  •  The God’s BLESSING is not the car, property, money, empire of business and such like more; The God’s BLESSING is the ENABLING ENDOWMENTS of God that MAKES the things you need possible and to come into reality – effortlessly, gracefully and graciously. Such needs may be like the car, house, business, money, health, and such like more.

  •  And the God’s BLESSING keeps one in His Church or Presence; and it enables one to go from strength unto strength. Meaning, God’s BLESSING doesn’t take you away from His presence or His Church as we’ve seen many BACKSLIDE from FAITH, just for having some little tokens of money, cars, properties and such like the more, and earnestly consider them BLESSINGS, which is rather unfortunate.

Therefore, I say as emboldened in Christ Jesus stead, that, I am BLESSED of God – and I know It; I know also that you are BLESSED of God, in Christ Jesus stead, and I hope you know it quite well too as I do now and always in consciousness.

Finally, I ask and say – DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE BLESSED OF GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD? If yes, then stop running around as one without KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING. Live and walk in wisdom to ENSURE this ASSURED enabling of God, in Christ Jesus stead becomes tangible and in reality, in your path of doing life and living godly. Amen…

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Brethren, I count not myself to have APPREHENDED: but this one thing I do, FORGETTING those things which are behind, and REACHING FORTH unto those things which are before, 14 I PRESS toward the mark for the PRIZE of the HIGH CALLING of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be PERFECT, BE THUS MINDED: and if in any thing ye be OTHERWISE MINDED, God shall REVEAL even this unto you” Philippians 3:13-15.

“. . . 5 BLESSED is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. 6. Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. 7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. . .” (Psalms 84).

“Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that THE BLESSING of ABRAHAM might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might RECEIVE the PROMISE of the Spirit through faith . . .26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29.

WISDOM NUGGETS AT FAMILY HOME CHURCH

November 11, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

WISDOM NUGGETS AT FAMILY HOME CHURCH: INVEST WISELY YOUR GOD’S GIVEN RESOURCES – TIME, EFFORT, MATERIAL AND FINANCE BEFORE EXPENDING!

“There is PRECIOUS TREASURE and OIL in the HOUSE of the WISE [who PREPARE for the future], But a SHORT-SIGHTED and FOOLISH man SWALLOWS it up and WASTES it” Proverbs 21:20 Amplified.

When you EXPEND your OPPORTUNITIES in CONTRARIWISE instead of you to INVEST such in your God given resources of TIME, EFFORT (skill/talent), MATERIAL (Tools/Equipment) and FINANCE in order to CREATE the DESIRED enjoyable life treasure, pleasure and grace, you then KNOW that FOOLISHNESS and STUPIDITY has been set in motion for POVERTY and it’s side effects. And when foolishness sets in, you know the end results (you can name it or name them . . .).

“He who TILLS his land will have PLENTY of bread, But he who FOLLOWS worthless things LACKS common sense and good judgment” Proverbs 12:11/Amplified.

An example of ignorance, foolishness and stupidity, is when you EXPEND your years energy of TIME, EFFORT, MATERIAL and FINANCE in PREPARING for just A DAY WEDDING, and with little or no INVESTMENT of TIME, EFFORT, MATERIAL and FINANCE in PREPARING for the DESIRED MARRIAGE that’s the WORTH of a LIFETIME; definitely and surely, you need NO special prophecy to determine what the final outcome of such UNPREPAREDNESS will be – if it will be pleasurable or regrettable – all day long.

Hence be WISE in INVESTING your God given resources of – TIME, EFFORT, MATERIAL AND FINANCE – by wisdom before EXPENDING it at all for whatever contrarily.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“There is TREASURE to be desired and OIL in the DWELLING of the WISE; but a FOOLISH man SPENDETH it up” Proverbs 21:20.

“There is PRECIOUS TREASURE and OIL in the HOUSE of the WISE [who PREPARE for the future], But a SHORT-SIGHTED and FOOLISH man SWALLOWS it up and WASTES it” Proverbs 21:20/Amplified.

“He that TILLETH HIS LAND shall be SATISFIED with BREAD: but he that FOLLOWETH VAIN persons is VOID of UNDERSTANDING” Proverbs 12:11.

“He who TILLS his land will have PLENTY of bread, But he who FOLLOWS worthless things LACKS common sense and good judgment” Proverbs 12:11/Amplified.

“He that TILLETH HIS LAND shall have PLENTY of bread: but he that FOLLOWETH after VAIN persons shall have POVERTY enough. 20 A FAITHFUL man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh HASTE to be rich shall not be INNOCENT. 21 To have respect of persons is not good: for a PIECE of bread that man will TRANSGRESS. 22 He that HASTETH TO BE RICH hath an EVIL eye, and considereth not that POVERTY shall come upon him” Proverbs 28:19-22.

“He who CULTIVATES HIS LAND will have PLENTY OF BREAD, But he who FOLLOWS WORTHLESS people and FRIVOLOUS PURSUITS will have PLENTY of POVERTY. 20 A FAITHFUL (RIGHT-MINDED) MAN will ABOUND with BLESSINGS, But he who HURRIES TO BE RICH will not go unpunished. 21 To have regard for one person over another and to show FAVORITISM is not good, Because for a PIECE of bread a man will TRANSGRESS. 22 He who has an EVIL and ENVIOUS eye hurries to be rich. And does not know that POVERTY will come upon him” Proverbs 28:19-22/Amplified.

JESUS CHRIST – OUR EXEMPLARY

November 9, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

JESUS CHRIST – OUR EXEMPLARY: THE CLARITY OF PURPOSE LEVERAGE THE SPIRIT OF CONTENTMENT – TO BE ABASED AND TO ABOUND IN THE GRACE!

As I write this epistle, I recall growing up in both my primary and secondary schools, and in attendance of the pupil’s assembly ground, and with the hymnal book, wherein we sing the song that’s mostly often forgotten today:

“He that’s down need fear no fall,

He that’s low no pride,

He that’s humble ever shall,

Have God to be His guide.”

As I sing now and meditates over this song today, the concept and context of our beloved Saviour and Lord Jesus, in HUMILITY and OBEDIENCE to God’s purpose for Him, in God’s kingdom redemption services, came to lighten up and illuminated my innermost being of the path to exaltation and fulfilment, in the course and cause of advancing the kingdom of God and keeping the enemy and cohorts at bay.

For to be ABASED in scriptural context of Philippians 4:11-13, is to be humbled and not the purported concepts of degradations. It’s to be lowly and not depravation to being stricken in poverty and such like, as to be out of purpose for living and fulfilment. For in OBEDIENCE and HUMILITY to God’s purpose, our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ was able to fulfil God’s intent and was then highly EXALTED by Father God above all. DO YOU WANT TO BE ABOVE ONLY? Then, have the mind of Christ; put on the mind of Christ; and in redemption, you have the mind of Christ Jesus by the indwelling Holy Spirit of grace to make obedience and humility possible for your exaltation.

“For who hath KNOWN THE MIND of the Lord, that he may instruct him? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND of Christ” 1 Corinthians 2:16.

“. . . [5] Let this MIND be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: [6] who, BEING IN THE FORM OF God, thought it not ROBBERY to be EQUAL with God: [7] but MADE HIMSELF OF NO REPUTATION, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became OBEDIENT unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly EXALTED him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] that at the NAME of Jesus every KNEE should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] and that every tongue should CONFESS that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Philippians 2:1-11.

The scripture thus says that our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ, became poor that we, who have come to embrace redemption rights and privileges might be enriched. Does it mean then that Jesus Christ was poverty stricken? Or stricken of any such likeness to limits God’s purpose through Him? Not at all. It only thus mean, that He HUMBLED Himself from the affluence of the heavens as being a part of the person of the trinity to become the Saviour of mankind in OBEDIENCE of being human; and by Him doing so, mankind [humanity], might be saved and redeemed back to the creator and Father God. He BECAME poor, thus indicates, He LOWERED Himself, from divinity in all essence to be God-man in humanity, that He might win us to God by sharing in our humanity and dying to fulfill the cause for our total salvation. That’s the mark of being of His nature as being meek and lowly in spirit as the scripture describes him.

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, THOUGH HE WAS RICH, YET FOR YOUR SAKES HE BECAME POOR, that ye through his poverty might be rich” 2 Corinthians 8:9.

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am MEEK and LOWLY in heart: and ye shall find REST unto your souls” Matthew 11:29.

“Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Son of God? [6] This is He that came by water and blood, even JESUS CHRIST; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. [7] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:5-7.

“And THE WORD was MADE FLESH [HUMAN, HUMANITY], and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14/Emphasis Mine.

Our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ knows the essence to be ABASED as He knows also to ABOUND. So, concerning Jesus, we know by the scriptures, that though He was God, He humbled Himself, meaning, He submitted and subjected Himself through obedience to God’s cause for redemption, that He might fulfill purpose. Can you ever imagine that in this generation that’s consummated more of ONLY prosperity message without cause [purpose] in heart and thoughts? For though He’s God’s Son, He didn’t allow that to overrun and overtake the cause and purpose of God for human redemption. Humility and obedience to the cause, for our example in the grace. For to be ABASED is  been humble to God’s Kingdom assignments and not a degradation.

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this PURPOSE the Son of God was MANIFESTED, that he might DESTROY the WORKS of the devil” 1 John 3:8.

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this CAUSE came I into the world, that I should BEAR WITNESS unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice” John 18.37.

“. . . [4] And NO MAN TAKETH THIS HONOUR UNTO HIMSELF, but he that is CALLED of God, as was Aaron. [5] So also Christ GLORIFIED NOT HIMSELF to be made an high priest; but He that said unto him, Thou art my Son, Today have I begotten thee. [6] As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchisedec. [7] Who in the DAYS OF HIS FLESH, when he had offered up PRAYERS and SUPPLICATIONS with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; [8] though he were a Son, yet LEARNED He OBEDIENCE by the things which He SUFFERED; [10] called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec” Hebrews 5:1-10.

We have to come to the adherence in obeying the instructions of the scriptures in order to be like Jesus, in fulfilling purpose in all situations, in time to be ABASED and in time to ABOUND in the grace. For while you walk in God’s cause for your life, to be ABASED and to ABOUND, makes no difference to your living in the grace; but when you lack the clarity [clear cut] purpose of God for your life, to be ABASED becomes ludicrous, and the mindset to ABOUND will be the only focus. Such act will rob any kingdom Believer of God in Christ Jesus, the spirit of CONTENTMENT in the grace. For the spirit of CONTENTMENT doesn’t mean STAGNANCY, but the ability and capacity to be malleable to any shape still unchanged, without cracking or breaking and fulfilling mission and assignments in the grace. That was the capacity Apostle Paul was ensuring and assuring in Philippians 4: 10-13, 19; the capacity to know that the God of all sufficiency is there at any phase to supply and meet all needs in Christ Jesus, no matter what’s betides us in fulfilling God’s purpose for our living.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, LET US LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, and the SIN WHICH DOTH SO EASILY BESET US, and let us RUN WITH PATIENCE the RACE [PURPOSE, CAUSE] that is SET before us, [2] LOOKING unto Jesus the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him ENDURED the cross, DESPISING THE SHAME, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” Hebrews 12:1-2.

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [2] hath in these last days SPOKEN unto us by his Son, whom he hath APPOINTED heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; [3] who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; [4] being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance OBTAINED a more excellent name than they. [5] For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son?” Hebrews 1:1-5.

We have to come to this conclusion in knowledge and understanding in the grace, that without Jesus, there was nothing ever made or created that was made and created; and yet, He ABASED [HUMBLED] Himself and submitted unto God in humility. How humble enough are you ready to stoop down [means to condescend, lower oneself, be lowly], that others might rise and find their voice and place in life?

Beloved reader, there’s more to the cause of God, and it comes through obedience to the faith wherein God has enabled you to be a part of His work on earth. Jesus was humble and obedient, and such spirit of CONTENTMENT makes it easier to be ABASED and to ABOUND, thereby accomplishing the reason for human redemption.

WILL YOU MAKE A CONSCIOUS EFFORT TODAY TO FOLLOW JESUS EXEMPLARY FOR US?

Be BLESSED in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus, in the spirit of CONTENTMENT, to be ABASED and to ABOUND in the grace.

THE SIXTH [FAITH] SENSE PRAYERS

November 9, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE SIXTH [FAITH] SENSE PRAYERS: MAKES One TO OVERCOME BY THE BLOOD AND BY THE WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY!

“And they OVERCAME and CONQUERED him because of the BLOOD of the Lamb and because of the WORD of their TESTIMONY, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death” Revelation 12:11/Amplified.

The Believer’s SIXTH SENSE is their FAITH toward God in Christ Jesus stead. And in life, everyone wants to experience daily – A NEW DAY, A DAY BREAK AT DAWN – in all life situations. And to authenticate and enact our REDEMPTION rights and privileges for – A NEW DAY, A DAY BREAK AT DAWN – in all that pertains to doing life and living godly by God in Christ Jesus stead, it takes the SIXTH (FAITH) SENSE to signal – the VICTORY. This entails also of being an OVERCOMER, a MORE THAN CONQUERORS and being TRIUMPHANT as a Believers of God. Amen.

“For this is the LOVE of God, that we KEEP his COMMANDMENTS: and his COMMANDMENTS are not GRIEVOUS (BURDENSOME, TASKMASTER, IRKSOME). 4 For whatsoever is born of God OVERCOMETH the world: and this is the VICTORY that OVERCOMETH the world, even our FAITH. 5 Who is he that OVERCOMETH the world, but he that BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:3-5.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 and hast MADE us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the FAITHFUL WITNESS, and the FIRST BEGOTTEN of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and WASHED US from our sins in his own blood, 6 and hath MADE us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:5-6.

THE PRUNING OF GOD

November 8, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE PRUNING OF GOD: THE INDICATOR OF THE SPIRIT OF CONTENTMENT – TO ABOUND AND TO BE ABASED IN THE GRACE!

“For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would JUDGE [EXAMINE] ourselves, we should not be JUDGED [EXAMINED]. 32 But when we are JUDGED [EXAMINE], we are CHASTENED of the Lord, that we should not be CONDEMNED with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another” 1 Corinthians 11:30-33/Emphasis mine.

During the SUMMER period, to those who were opportune to visit us, the front and back garden was blossoming with the beauty of the planted flowers of various species. My dear wife Nkem Faith was prepared to spend what it takes to ensure a lovely, beautiful, and most importantly, a welcoming garden. It was so well created, crafted and rebranded with such a good-looking environment, that for me, it’s something to look forward to by waking up a great while before the dawn day, to go to the garden and have a gracious outdoor welcome.

And I will go out to the back garden to sit, and the sitting area is lighted to read while relaxing. And going to the cool garden early in the morning with a cup of tea and reading materials while seated to enjoy at the abounding and blossoming garden before the sun rises was so refreshing and rejuvenating and very welcoming for me and for family and friends who made it to the garden. And the good feeling and welcoming sphere, is simply because the lighted swing sitter makes the garden effect cozy and inviting, as the garden swing’s special location and positioning marked it uniquely.

And most importantly, the cool fresh oxygen aeration in the morning that’s being produced and introduced by the surrounding hedges, the plants flowering and lovely scented places, makes the daily exercise to be at the garden so, so beautiful; and as a welcoming place for me to look forward to, during the summer period; it made me look towards the next morning and later, the cool evening for rest and relaxation, especially when there’s not much of obligatory things to do beyond the house environment.

Now the Summer is over and the blossoming and abounding sight is wearing away. So, I’ve noticed some new looks was happening at the same garden until I found out what was happening. A couple of days ago, as I was stepping out of the house to the Office building that’s detached from the house, I noticed that the front and back access doors to the gardens that I need to take to the office were both open. There, I beheld my dear wife at work in the garden, already PRUNING the plants and remaking the soil and sorting out other horticultural activities. Then, I recalled it’s AUTUMN. And Autumn indeed for plants to ABASED, humbled to the change of weather until another opportune time to come to ABOUND.

She must have spent quite a long day doing the PRUNING process, and supposedly overtime, until I took notice, as gardening is something she has come to embrace and cherished as a new dawn hobby.

And why PRUNING? Supposedly to give the plants the opportunity to rebrand and navigate the harsh weather they are going to experience in the cause of the AUTUMN and WINTER, until the SPRINGS and SUMMER returns for another abounding moment. For the time of Autumn, Winters, Springs and Summers are seasons in life that will ALWAYS come. And as it’s the gardens, plants time to being ABASED, meaning, humbling for adaptation to the weather changes and not necessarily for degradation, will certainly come; and afterwards, times to ABOUND will surely come too. That’s the worth of the process and processing of life from phase to phase, as from glory to glory at various times. This thus indicates that whatever happens outside the process is a FRAUD and a SCAM.

“While the earth remaineth, SEEDTIME and HARVEST, and COLD and HEAT, and SUMMER and WINTER, and day and night shall not cease” Genesis 8:22.

What then is PRUNING? and why PRUNING? and what are the benefits of PRUNING to our physical and spiritual wellbeing as it is to plants. It is these questions and more that are some of the matters I want to address in this segment and context of this writ and discuss. However, let’s see firstly through the eyes of the horticulturists for the plants and then our husbandman, Father God, as in John 15:1-16 scriptures.

The act of PRUNING is the selective removal of branches, buds, or roots from a plant to improve its health, structure, and appearance. Key goals include removing dead or diseased parts, controlling size, encouraging new growth or flowering, and enhancing air circulation. The best time and method for pruning depend on the specific plant, but generally, it’s done when the plant is dormant, and sharp, clean tools are essential for making proper cuts.

WHY PRUNE?

  1. Health: To remove dead, diseased, or damaged branches to prevent the spread of infection and improve overall vigour.
  2. Structure: To shape the plant to create a strong, dominant structure, which can help it withstand storms.
  3. Flowering and fruiting: To encourage vigorous plants and controlling the shape can lead to more abundant blooms and fruit.
  4. Safety: To remove branches that could fall, rub against structures, or create hazards.
  5. Clearance: To trim branches to maintain clearance for pathways, buildings, or power lines.

HOW TO PRUNE:

  1. Use the right tools: Use clean, sharp shears, loppers, or saws to make precise cuts.
  2. Remove dead, diseased, or damaged parts first: Start by removing anything that is not healthy.
  3. Remove crossing branches: Cut branches that are rubbing against each other to prevent injury.
  4. Make proper cuts: Make cuts just above a node where a new leaf will grow. For thicker branches, use a “step cut” to prevent the bark from tearing: make an undercut, then a second cut from the top to remove the branch, and finally a third cut to remove the stub.
  5. Prune For Shape: Remove “water sprouts” [fast-growing vertical shoots] and “suckers” [shoots that grow from the base of the plant].

WHEN TO PRUNE:

  1. Winter: Many deciduous trees and shrubs are pruned during their dormant season (winter) when their structure is visible.
  2. Spring: Shrubs that bloom on old wood (last year’s growth) should be prunedimmediatelyafter they flower, often in the late spring or early summer.
  3. Summer: Regularlydeadheads spendflowers on annuals and herbs to encourage more blooms.
  4. Other times: Specific pruning times vary widely by plant. It is essential to research the specific needs of your plant before pruning. Avoid pruning when conditions are damp or wet to reduce the risk of fungal infection.

Now, looking through the eyes of a horticulturist in terms of the WHY, HOW and WHEN to execute the pruning, I may not be able to tell how God will prune you as a person or your family or Church but one thing it’s assured, God will prune His own in cause of times with him; and one can resolve to make self-examination and self-assertiveness ahead of time in order to ensure their humility before the Lord God is exerted on them.

“EXAMINE YOURSELVES, WHETHER YE BE IN THE FAITH; PROVE YOUR OWN SELVES. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” 2 Corinthians 13:5-8.

There’s a God gracious reason for pruning us and He’s indeed out there as God, PRUNING us His children to ensure that we are able to be EFFECTUAL, that is, to be productive and result-oriented, in our workplaces of assignment in the grace. He wants us to blossom and be fruitful. He wants us to have an onward and upward trajectory in the grace. He prunes us from a no-fruit bearing to a fruit bearing, more fruit bearing, much fruit bearing and to the fullness of a much more abiding and abounding fruit bearing in cause of times.

These process from no-fruit bearing to the much more abiding and abounding fruit bearing, that God injects comes by Him PRUNING us in love, in His gracious garden of assignment. It’s humbling to be PRUNED but it’s ends makes a better us. Being humbled to be pruned, is to be ABASED, then to abide and ABOUND with much fruit bearing.

And it takes the spirit of CONTENTMENT, to know, understand and appreciate the process of the kingdom, in God’s dealing with us. This helps an individual to know that your challenging times, in most cases it’s God dealings with you to bring out your best but when you resist and still want to be God’s child and enjoy His FULNESS, He will keep taking you through the processes until you recognise His dealings with you. And it varies to every Believers in the grace to be abased and abound, to enable one appreciate the process of God’s dealing of His people as the book of John thus indicates:

“I am the TRUE vine, and my Father is the HUSBANDMAN. 2 Every branch in me that BEARETH NOT FRUIT he taketh away: and every branch that BEARETH FRUIT, he PURGETH [PRUNETH] it, that it may bring forth MORE fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth MUCH FRUIT: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father GLORIFIED, that ye bear MUCH FRUIT; so shall ye be my disciples . . . 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring FORTH FRUIT, and that your FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” John 15:1-8, 16.

In the same scenario as per the above scriptures and writ paragraph, God wants us to fulfil purpose. Knowingly and unknowingly, living to fulfil and accomplish God’s given assignments and purposes in our life is at a cost, so that one does not jeopardise the essence of His enabling grace upon one’s life, unto the ends of the earth. For everyone born of God in Christ Jesus that loves the Lord, are set to do life and live godly with the PURPOSE of God in their spirited hearts and minds. And because they love the Lord and His work, God will cause all things to work together for their good. This is so, that the built-in default about His people that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and that which have not entered the hearts of any man, can then be made manifest, as God reveals them by the Holy Spirit that dwells in as written.

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE” Romans 8:28.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things, yea, the deep things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 in whom also we have OBTAINED an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of Him who worketh all things after the COUNSEL of His own will: 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ” Ephesians 1:10-12.

God knows that as His people that have being called, and have obtained inheritance, and have been predestined to succeed and more, that in our journey to fulfil His purpose in our lives with His endorsement, endowment and enduement, there may be challenges; and to keep us steadily steady and focused, He uses the process of HUMILITY as a guardrail to keep us together in all that pertains to doing life and living godly in Him in the grace.

This act of humbling us is not to degrade us but to make us MORE effectual, that is, to be more productive and result-oriented, in our Faith in the grace. That’s why to be ABASED in scriptural context as said of Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:11-13, wasn’t as sure about degradation of a person as some purport; but it’s the PRUNING process of our Father God to keep us away from the danger and consequences of pride and arrogance. And also, in order to ensure that we are following after His path for our greatness and exaltation in Him, in walking in the faith as assured only by humility in the grace; more so, to ensure and assure us to know and understand that our sufficiency is of Him in Christ Jesus stead. And being our God, He’s the source of our total supply, to all our needs, according to His riches in glory, in Christ Jesus, as it’s written:

“And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19/Amplified.

Suffice to say, that, it’s because of an act of pride and arrogance that God drove the devil once called Angel Lucifer and cohorts called the angelic stars from His presence [Ezekiel 28:1-10; Isaiah 14:12-19; Revelation 12:3-5]. They fell from grace to grass because of pride and arrogance which God does not tolerate, for He resists such spirits, and will always not tolerate those whose tendency shows such characteristics of pride and arrogance. So God PRUNING, can only be easier to follow through, by the one that’s determined with the concept to be abased and to abound, to ensure the spirit of CONTENTMENT in the grace.

“But He giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God RESISTETH the PROUD, but giveth GRACE unto the HUMBLE” James 4:6.

“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God RESISTETH the PROUD, and giveth GRACE to the HUMBLE. 6 HUMBLE yourselves therefore UNDER the mighty hand of God, that he may EXALT you in due time: 7 casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” 1 Peter 5:5-7.

Therefore, let it be registered within you spirit-being, as a default in the grace, that when God prunes or is pruning us, it’s to make us better and not bitter. It’s to lead us to a place where we are made to become more fruitful in humility and not in and through pride. For pride goes before the fall. And the whole concept and process of pruning does keeps one humble – which is the benchmark of being ABASED, which may not be a plenteous moment of time. And certainly, as always, after we’ve been abased by the pruning process, God will then bring us to the place of grace to abound, therein He will strengthen us, establish us, comfort us and settle us in His grace as enjoined in 1 Peter 5:6-11.

To been abased keeps one humble in the grace as Apostle Paul, experienced. It’s such that, with all his privileges of abounding in inspiration, revelation and empowerment, he still found himself in prison, a place of humility. To be abased does not necessarily mean degradation but humility. Apostle Paul was only moved from a place of plenty and abundance of grace to a place of humility not humiliation; because while yet in Prison, he wrote the concept of the month theme about the spirit of CONTENTMENT, to be ABASED and to ABOUND in the grace. He wasn’t spiritually impoverished for being in prison, though in his physical disposition he’s in prison; and though he was in prison, the prison wasn’t in him, just as Joseph with a dream to be Prime Minister one day by God was in prison, yet the prison wasn’t in him.

And being in prison though wasn’t palatable in physical sense but humbling; and unfortunately, why being there, some so-called Gospel Ministers, took advantage of his imprisonment to say many unwarranted things about him. That’s what propelled, compelled, constrained, persuaded and made him to write to the Philippians Church on how to stay safe from the pervert and arrogant so-called Ministers, that are taking advantage of his imprisonment. How many Ministers there today, would have been humbled without creating a scene, to be taken on the pathway as Apostle Paul, to experience being imprisoned for the purpose of following God’s blueprint cause for their life in the grace? It’s worth to PAUSE and THINK about it.

“Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: [16] the one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: [17] but the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. [18] What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice . . . [27] Only let your CONVERSATION [CONDULT] be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; [28] and in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. [29] For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; [30] having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me” Philippians 1:15-18, 27-30.

So beloved, know of a truth, that when God chastises us, it’s to humble us and to save us as such, that we will not be condemned with the world in the same fits. For those that God loves, He humbles them and such path of pruning is by chastisement. But it’s done in love and not in wickedness or degradation. Hence you have to respect the process, to make you better without being bitter in any form and ramification. Hence, we have to cultivate the spirit of self checks every now and then against the spirit of pride and arrogance, especially while in our abounding time and much more, while we are to be ABASED in the grace.

“For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are JUDGED [EXAMINE], we are CHASTENED of the Lord, that we should not be CONDEMNED with the world” 1 Corinthians 11:31-32.

“And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby” Hebrews 12:5-11.

It’s my earnest PRAYERS, that you let God work on you for your own good and goodness. Knowing also, that when and while you are being humbled, as God’s defacto default process to exalt us and to make us able to be ABASED and to ABOUND in the grace, that you don’t undermine the process by living in denial; if otherwise you do, you are going to keep resitting and repeating the process while you still remain in the grace, in order to fulfil the kingdom cause purpose for your life if you except to ensure God’s pruning; if otherwise, you choose to backslide from the grace like Judas Iscariot, and walk away from God’s love in Christ Jesus, and from the lighted place of glory to the night of darkness, as one who only prefers to abound and not ready to be humbled, by being abased.

“Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of THIS WORLD unto the Father, having LOVED his own which were in the world, HE LOVED THEM UNTO THE END . . . 30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: AND IT WAS NIGHT” John 13:1, 30.

May you be found to abound and be abased, as a mark of the spirit of contentment resulting from pruning. And Blessed regards God’s grace and blessedness in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

“Know ye not that they which RUN IN A RACE RUN ALL, but one RECEIVETH the prize? So RUN, that ye may OBTAIN. 25 And every man that STRIVETH for the MASTERY is TEMPERATE in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as UNCERTAINLY; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 but I KEEP UNDER MY BODY, and bring it into SUBJECTION: lest that by any means, when I have PREACHED to others, I myself should be a CASTAWAY” 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my father’s commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another” John 15:1-17.

THE SPIRIT OF CONTENTMENT

November 6, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE SPIRIT OF CONTENTMENT: IT’S ONLY BALANCED WHEN YOU KNOW HOW TO BE ABASED AND TO ABOUND!

“. . . 11 Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have LEARNED to be CONTENT [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am NOT DISTURBED or uneasy] REGARDLESS of my circumstances. 12 I know how to GET ALONG and LIVE HUMBLY [in difficult times], and I also know how to ENJOY ABUNDANCE and LIVE IN PROSPERITY. In any and every circumstance I have LEARNED the SECRET [of facing life], whether WELL-FED or going HUNGRY, whether having an ABUNDANCE or being IN NEED. 13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am READY FOR ANYTHING and EQUAL TO ANYTHING through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] . . .” Philippians 4:10-14/Amplified.

When a Believer learns and knows how to be balanced in doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus, especially in the understanding of how to be abased and to abound, it helps to strengthen, ensure and assure the believer’s steadfast walk in the grace. The assurance in the faith, results in the spirit of contentment, which enables the born of God believer in Christ Jesus, to do life and live godly in an effortless walk of faith and without sweat in the grace.

When Apostle Paul said that he had learned to be content – meaning to be self-sufficient through Christ – and to be satisfied to the point where he is not disturbed or uneasy, regardless of his circumstances, that’s the spirit of contentment. More so, that he knows how to get along and live humbly in difficult times, and also knows how to enjoy abundance and live in prosperity, that’s the spirit of contentment, and has equally learned when and while in any and every circumstance, the secret of facing life equally with an emboldening spirit, meaning to face life situations and circumstances with an eyebrow to eyebrow, whether he is well-fed or going hungry, and whether having in abundance or being in need – which thus indicates, that such a Believer in any scenario in Christ Jesus, understands the spirit of contentment in the grace. More so, on how to comport oneself, in such a way that the essence of God’s grace and the corresponding attributes are unchanged in charisma and character by any reason of life position and disposition.

“Not that I speak in respect of want for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things, I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need” Philippians 4:11-12.

It thus indicates in the context of the Scriptures of Philippians 4:11-12 above. When Apostle Paul said he had learned how to be “ABASED”, he was not necessarily saying it in the context and state of degradation or being poverty stricken. Neither was he saying that he had learned to “ABOUND” means to be extra possessive in the state of overflow, extreme wealth or abundance, and being highly successful in whatever context of attribution. He was however, saying in both Scriptural context of his person, in his walk with the Lord, in fulfilling purpose and staying focused in the call of grace; that he is able to be “ABASED”, meaning, he knows how to live humbled, modest, keep a low profile as often as it’s allowed, knowing it’s a great means/antidote to pride and arrogance and a strong character nature in dealing with the consequence of pride [being proudly] or disobedient to specific scriptural instructions of God; it thus sums up that knowing fully well, that it is in being humbled, self-disciplined, that one is able to proceed to being exalted [lifted up or uplifted] by God in his grace.

“But he GIVETH MORE GRACE. Wherefore he saith, God RESISTETH THE PROUD, but GIVETH GRACE UNTO THE HUMBLE” James 4:6

“. . . 26 Therefore I DO NOT RUN WITHOUT A DEFINITE GOAL; I do not flail around like one beating the air [just shadow boxing]. 27But [like a boxer] I strictly DISCIPLINE my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be DISQUALIFIED [as unfit for service]” 1 Corinthian 9:24-27/Amplified.

The concept of the scriptural context above is summarised by the principle that those who exalt themselves will be abased, while those who humble themselves will be exalted. The writ of Philippians 4:9-13 by Apostle Paul is to describe his ability to be content in any situation, including TIMES OF NEED and HUNGER and TIMES OF ABUNDANCE AND BEING HIGHLY SUFFICIENT AND SUCCESSFUL.

The concept of learning to LIVE CONTENTEDLY as a Believer in Christ Jesus, both in times of NEED [being ABASED] and PLENTY [being ABOUND], is the whole and complete path of setting oneself to become in the grace in all levels of doing life in Christ Jesus. It’s such a gracious spirit of contentment, while humbled [being ABASED] to learn to live with less, which involves taming desires, avoiding excesses, and appreciating what you have through practicing the spirit of contentment and discipline in the grace. And in the same scenario, while exalted [being ABOUND] to learn to live with gratitude, practicing wise stewardship, and being disciplined with resources, rather than being wasteful or prideful in the grace.

SOME PRINCIPLES TO APPLY WHILE BEING ABASED [LIVE WITH LESS]:

  1. Learn to DECLUTTER and live with less: Go through your belongings and get rid of what you don’t need. This can be clothes, gadgets, or other possessions.
  2. Learn to PRACTICE discipline: Learn to tame your fleshly desires and wants and resist the urge to buy things you don’t need.
  3. Learn to APPRECIATE what you have: A lack of excessive material things can serve as a reminder of your humanity and help you connect with the struggles of others.
  4. Learn to SAVE and prepare for the future: Learning to live with less can lead to better financial discipline, allowing you to save for difficult and challenging times.

SOME PRINCIPLES TO APPLY WHILE BEING ABOUND [LIVE WITH MORE]:

  1. Learn to PRACTICE GRATITUDE: Be thankful for what you have, which builds resilience and faith in the grace.
  2. Learn to AVOID WASTEFULNESS: When you have abundance, be a good steward of what you’ve been given.
  3. Learn to be GENEROUS AND KIND: Use your abundance to bless others. Be mindful of how your success might affect those around you who are struggling.
  4. Learn to MAINTAIN A HUMBLE MINDSET: Do not let prosperity lead to pride, arrogance, or a loss of focus on what is spiritually important in the grace.
  5. Learn TO FIND AND ENSURE CONTENTMENT in Christ: The core message of the month theme and scriptural verse context, is that true contentment is found in a relationship with Christ, not in material possessions or circumstances.
  6. Learn to know that ABOUNDING ABUNDANTLY in spiritual blessings entails:
  • God’s Grace And Love: The holy writ uses “abound” to describe God’s grace, which is seen as surpassing human sinfulness as written in Romans 5:20 “Where sin increased, grace ABOUNDED all the more”. And Philippians 1:9 expresses a desire for love to “abound yet more and more” as written “And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgments”.
  • God’s Grace And Hope: God can fill believers with joy and peace so they may abound in hope in the grace as in the holy writ enjoined in Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises”.

  • God’s Grace and Wisdom and Kindness: God can fill believers with Wisdom and kindness in the grace as the holy writ of Ephesians 1:8 says of God having “abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence”.

  • God’s Grace, Faith and Good Works: Believers are encouraged to abound in their faith, knowledge, diligence, and love for one another. The scriptures of 2 Corinthians 8:7 encourages believers to “abound in this grace also” as written “Therefore, as ye ABOUND in everything, IN FAITH, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye ABOUND in this grace also.”

  • God’s Grace And The Work Of The Lord: Christians are called to be steadfast and “always abounding in the work of the Lord,” meaning they should be abundant in their efforts to serve God as written in 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord”.

Therefore, in summary, THE SPIRIT OF CONTENTMENT, is an essence in the Believers’ path in doing life and living godly in the grace in Christ Jesus stead and being able to learn to BALANCE HOW TO BE ABASED AND TO ABOUND is crucial in the grace. Hence, I employ you to learn after Apostle Paul, as he was able to equate being “abased” in experiencing hunger and need, for it teaches him how to learn to be contented regardless of his circumstances; and this is equally possible, when as a believer in Christ Jesus, you know that whatever you are going through in life, you are assured in the grace; and you are not being ignorant, that there’s the enemy and cohorts of our faith, whose intent is for you to fail the scriptural test, as He is there to kill or harm and destroy thereby robbing you of the scriptural blessedness; but you need to know that by passing the test, you are going to be exalted by our God of all grace, through humility, in order to abound in the grace, and be strengthened, established, made perfect [whole, mature, complete] and settled in the course and cause of the grace.

I want you to know also, that the same enemy and cohorts that’s at work about you, are working as a roaring lion throughout the world against God’s people like you, seeking for who to devour; and you are not necessarily the only one going through the measure and challenges in life circumstances in the grace as sometimes we are bound to think and imagine; but to know that there are other brethren, who are going through their own stuffs, which likely may be even more challenging than yours. Having this knowing, is the wise counsel of Apostle Peter in the scripture of 1 Peter 5:8-11, in order to abased and abound in the spirit of contentment as written:

“HUMBLE yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may EXALT you in due time: [7] casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. [8] Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: [9] whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the SAME AFFLICTIONS are ACCOMPLISHED IN YOUR BRETHREN that are in the world. [10] But the God of ALL GRACE, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have SUFFERED a while, make you PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE you. [11] To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen”

It’s my earnest prayers, that the spirit of contentment might become your essence in the grace through humility to be abased and when you abound also in the grace.

Blessed regards in God’s enabling grace and blessedness as you do life and live godly by the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHT WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“I rejoiced greatly in the Lord, that now at last you have renewed your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned about me before, but you had no opportunity to show it. [11] Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have learned to be content [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or uneasy] regardless of my circumstances. [12] I know how to get along and live humbly [in difficult times], and I also know how to enjoy abundance and live in prosperity. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret [of facing life], whether well-fed or going hungry, whether having an abundance or being in need. [13] I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] . . . [19] And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:10-13, 19/Amplified.

“If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; [4] he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, [5] perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. [6] But GODLINESS with CONTENTMENT is great gain. [8] And having FOOD and RAIMENT let us be therewith CONTENT” 1 Timothy 6:3-8.

“Let your CONVERSATION [CONDUCT, BEHAVIOUR] be without covetousness; and be CONTENT with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. [6] So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear What man shall do unto me” Hebrews 13:5-6.

“Although the fig tree shall NOT BLOSSOM, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive shall fail, And the fields shall yield no meat; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls: [18] Yet I will REJOICE in the LORD, I will JOY in the God of my salvation. [19] The LORD God is my STRENGTH, And he will make my FEET like HINDS’ FEET, And He will make me to walk upon mine HIGH PLACES. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments” Habakkuk 3:17-19.

“HUMBLE yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may EXALT you in due time: [7] casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. [8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: [9] whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. [10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have SUFFERED a while, make you PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE you. [11] To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” 1 Peter 5:6-11.

“So also, Christ glorified not Himself to be made an high priest; but He that said unto him, Thou art my Son, Today have I begotten thee. [6] As He saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchisedec. [7] Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that He feared; [8] though He were a Son, yet learned He OBEDIENCE by the things which He SUFFERED; [9] and being made PERFECT, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him; [10] called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec” Hebrews 5:5-10.

“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. [6] who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a Servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] and being found in fashion as a man, He HUMBLED himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath HIGHLY EXALTED Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name: [10] that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Philippians 2:4-11.

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. [25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? [26] Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? [27] Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? [28] And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: [29] and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. [30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? [31] Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat?” or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? [32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. [33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. [34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof”.

DON’T TALK ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN BUT SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN INSTEAD

November 6, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

DON’T TALK ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN BUT SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN INSTEAD: YOUR MOUTH IS GOD’S MOUTH TO LEVEL THE MOUNTAIN IF YOU BELIEVE!

“WHO ART THOU, O great MOUNTAIN? before Zerubbabel thou shalt BECOME A PLAIN: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it” Zechariah 4:7.

HAVE YOU DWELL LONG ENOUGH ON THE MOUNT? And are you STRUGGLING or at STANDSTILL in your PATH of progress?

Know for sure that MOUNTAINS are long standing roadblocks on your path to progress. You need to SPEAK to it and not TALK about it.

You can by today and through this month overturn THAT MOUNTAIN to become a plain by SPEAKING FORTH to it right now as Jesus AUTHORISED in Mark 11:23 and the Angel spoke in respect for Zerubbabel AUTHORITATIVELY in Zachariah 4:7, and you can then experience the outpouring of God’s BLESSEDNESS in the GRACE in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

YOUR MOUTH DEFINES YOU – BELIEVE and SPEAK FORTH to your triumph, victory, overcoming and more than conquerors and such like, in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“Therefore thus saith the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, THOU SHALT BE AS MY MOUTH: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them” Jeremiah 15:19.

THEREFORE, DON’T TALK ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN BUT SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN INSTEAD – FOR YOUR MOUTH IS GOD’S MOUTH TO LEVEL THE MOUNTAIN IF YOU BELIEVE.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For I will give you a MOUTH and WISDOM, which all your ADVERSARIES shall not be ABLE to GAINSAY nor RESIST” Luke 21:15.

“WHO ART THOU, O great MOUNTAIN? before Zerubbabel thou shalt BECOME A PLAIN: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it” Zechariah 4:7.

“For verily I SAY unto you, That whosoever shall SAY UNTO THIS MOUNTAIN, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not DOUBT in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAITH. 24 Therefore I SAY unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye RECEIVE them, and ye shall HAVE them” Mark 11:23-24.

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy MOUTH, and in thy HEART: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH CONFESSION is MADE unto SALVATION” Romans 10:8-10.

“A man’s belly shall be SATISFIED with the FRUIT of his MOUTH; and with the INCREASE of his LIPS shall he be FILLED. 21 DEATH and LIFE are in the POWER of the TONGUE: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” Proverbs 18:20-21.

“The VOICE of him that crieth in the WILDERNESS, prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 EVERY VALLEY shall be EXALTED, and EVERY MOUNTAIN and HILL shall be MADE LOW: and the CROOKED shall be MADE STRAIGHT, and the ROUGH PLACES PLAIN: 5 and the glory of the Lord shall be REVEALED, and all FLESH shall see it together: for the MOUTH of the Lord hath spoken it” Isaiah 40:3-5.

BOOKS And READERS

BOOKS And READERS: Makes INFORMED LEADERS And LEADERSHIP – Be An INFORMED WORLD Changer!

“Jesus answered and said unto them, YE DO ERR (ERRONEOUS, MISTAKEN), not KNOWING the SCRIPTURES, nor the POWER of God” Matthew 22:29.

READ before you RUN – for great VISION are born by INFORMED READERS.

“. . . 2 And the Lord answered me, and said, WRITE THE VISION, and make it PLAIN upon tables, that he may RUN that READETH it . . .” Habakkuk 2:2 (1-4).

An INFORMED READER makes INFORMED LEADER and INFORMED LEADERSHIP.

It must be noted that an INFORMED LEADER is set to solve problems and not to merely discuss about problems or create further problems.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING & PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“The Pharisees also came unto him, TEMPTING him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? 4 And he answered and said unto them, HAVE YE NOT READ, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female” Matthew 19:3-4.

“. . . 2 And the Lord answered me, and said,

WRITE THE VISION, and make it PLAIN upon tables, that he may RUN that READETH it . . .” Habakkuk 2:2 (1-4).

“Till I come, give ATTENDANCE to READING, to exhortation, to doctrine” 1 Timothy 4:13.

“And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be WRITTEN every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the BOOKS that should be WRITTEN. Amen” John 21:25.

“The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the BOOKS, but especially the parchments” 2 Timothy 4:13.

EXCELLENCE IS PURE: ENVISION IT TO EXCEL!

November 5, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

EXCELLENCE IS PURE: ENVISION IT TO EXCEL!

“HOLDING the MYSTERY OF THE FAITH in a PURE CONSCIENCE” 1 Timothy 3:9.

“And herein do I EXERCISE myself, to have always a CONSCIENCE VOID OF OFFENCE TOWARD God, AND TOWARD men” Acts 24:16.

Sometimes when I hear some so-called Gospel Ministers and Christian faith believers say this: “IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT THEY DO AS LONG AS GOD STILL LOVES THEM’, I begin to wonder what this life of grace has become to some, especially in the 21st century. Is it true that God STILL LOVES US IN FAITH NO MATTER WHAT WE DO? Who then will QUESTION the UNSAVED and what right do we have then to PREACH THE GOSPEL to the unsaved. Then the Scripture of Romans comes to mind, that we can’t continue in sin in the name of grace. And we can’t continue also in the fleshy [carnal] ways of doing life that’s contrary to the freedom we’ve received of God in Christ Jesus, as caution against in the Galatians scripture, otherwise we will be without guildrails to enable and ensure we stay secured in the grace from the enemy and cohorts intent on our redemption.

“What shall we say [to all this]? Should we CONTINUE IN SIN and PRACTICE SIN as a habit so that [God’s gift of] GRACE may increase and overflow? 2 CERTAINLY NOT! How can we, the very ones who died to sin, CONTINUE to live in it any longer? 3 Or are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?” Romans 6:1-3/Amplified.

“It was for this FREEDOM that Christ SET US FREE [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do NOT BE SUBJECT again to a YOKE OF SLAVERY [which you once removed] . . . 13 For you, my brothers, were CALLED TO FREEDOM; only do not let your freedom become an OPPORTUNITY for the SINFUL nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another” Galatians 5:1, 13/Amplified.

Know full well that God LOVES us, but that does not mean He does COMMEND a life being lived outside His WORD. As I have always said time and again that our God will ONLY COMMEND what He had COMMAND and ORDERED. All things [good or bad] will work together for the good of those who not only love God BUT walk and do life according to the course of His Word in Purpose just as Jesus Christ did in humanity. [Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11-12; John 18:37; 1 John 3:8].

Many times, God’s purposes of excellence to us, is so clear before us, but we need to walk and work in the course of that envisioned covenant of His grace; and if one begin to do any act of life outside His Word, we will surely loose out in our place of grace to excel. Apostle Paul says this in Galatians 2:21 “I do not FRUSTRATE the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain”. Meaning I do not do things that will make the GRACE of God INOPERATIVE and INEFFECTIVE in my life. Amen.

An example of FRUSTRATING GRACE to rob one of EXCELLENCE in Christ Jesus stead is as this:

What happened to Reuben the first born of Jacob. Though born for an envisioned excellency to attain, he lost his place of blessedness to excel to his younger brother Joseph, for sleeping with one of His father’s wives in the SCRIPTURAL context as found in Genesis 49:1-4. You can’t eat your cake and have it. Grace for EXCELLENCE is not cheap or not to be taken for granted and done with despite as Hebrews 10:29 warns and enjoins:

“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done DESPITE unto the Spirit of grace?”

When you look through the heroes of Faith in Patriarchal order of HEBREWS CHAPTER ELEVEN, you will noticed after Patriarch Jacob, the next name that comes is Patriarch Joseph instead of Patriarch Reuben, though he was his father’s excellency of dignity and first born worthy of double honour as the Scripture does recommend – Genesis 49:3; Deuteronomy 21:15-17; Genesis 25:31-33. That’s why you must be on guard on your ENVISIONED EXCELLENCE to avoid derailing in the grace of actualising your place in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus stead, of our REDEMPTION in Him. Acts 20:32; Hebrews 6:10-12; Ephesians 1:7 (Colossians 1:13-14; 1 Corinthians 1:30).

EXCELLENCE IS PURE! So, if you crave to have God’s good and best, watch your PATH OF LIFE to the ENVISIONED EXCELLENCE. [1 Timothy 3:9; Philippians 4:8]. Therefore, answer yourself this question – Is it Scriptural true, that, it doesn’t matter what people do simply because God loves them? – [Romans 6:1-4; Galatians 5:1, 13].

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Moreover THE WORD of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, WHAT SEEST (ENVISION) THOU? And I said, I SEE (ENVISION) a rod of an almond tree. 12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well SEEN (ENVISION): for I will hasten MY WORD to PERFORM it” Jeremiah 1:11-12 (Emphasis Mine).

“And Jacob CALLED unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. 3 Reuben, thou art MY FIRSTBORN, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: 4 unstable as water, thou shalt not EXCEL; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then DEFILEDST thou it: he went up to my couch” (Genesis 49:1-4).

“. . . By FAITH Isaac BLESSED Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By FAITH Jacob, when he was a dying, BLESSED both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22 By FAITH Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. . .” (Hebrews 11:20-22).

“HOLDING the MYSTERY OF THE FAITH in a PURE CONSCIENCE” 1 Timothy 3:9.

“And herein do I EXERCISE myself, to have always a CONSCIENCE VOID OF OFFENCE TOWARD God, AND TOWARD men” Acts 24:16.

“Unto the PURE all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled” Titus 1:15.

“I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with PURE CONSCIENCE, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day” 2 Timothy 1:3.

“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a PURE heart, and of a GOOD CONSCIENCE, and of faith unfeigned: 6 from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 7 desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm” 1 Timothy 1:5-7.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any VIRTUE, and if there be any PRAISE, THINK on these things” Philippians 4:8.
