THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION

May 16, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION: THE POWER OF GOD THAT CHANGES ALL THINGS – BOTH THE CHANGEABLE AND THE UNCHANGEABLE!

“For I am not ASHAMED of the GOSPEL of Christ: for it is the POWER OF GOD unto SALVATION to everyone that BELIEVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God REVEALED from FAITH to FAITH: as it is written, The JUST shall LIVE by FAITH” Romans 1:16-17

SALVATION of men, which is FRUITFULNESS in the SPIRIT, is the most awesome essence of THE GOSPEL. It’s our global, inescapable and supreme task as God’s ambassadors in Christ Jesus’ stead. It’s high to live it out daily, to populate the heavens and depopulate hell, advancing the Kingdom cause of our God and in keeping the ENEMY and COHORTS at bay.

When last did you, in passion and compassion, share the GOSPEL with your unsaved friend, family member, neighbour, colleague – those you do life and show your godly living to, time and again? Make it a new dawn for you to share this precious GOSPEL faith and fellowship with those you care about and are reachable – start with them. The salvation of a soul is costly, and no amount of earthly wealth or possessions can quantify and qualify the redemption of a soul. Only the gospel can – and will ALWAYS redeem a soul. Give it a go today.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For I am not ASHAMED of the GOSPEL of Christ: for it is the POWER OF GOD unto SALVATION to everyone that BELIEVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God REVEALED from FAITH to FAITH: as it is written, The JUST shall LIVE by FAITH” Romans 1:16-17.

“GO, STAND and SPEAK in the temple to the people ALL THE WORDS of this life” Acts 5:20.

“Yea, so have I strived to PREACH THE GOSPEL, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation: 21 but as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand” Romans 15:20-21.

“They that TRUST in their WEALTH, and BOAST themselves in the MULTITUDE of their RICHES; 7 NONE OF THEM CAN BY ANY MEANS REDEEM HIS BROTHER, nor give to God a RANSOM for him: 8 (for the REDEMPTION of their SOUL IS PRECIOUS, and it ceaseth for ever:) 9 that he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. 10 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others . . .” Psalms 49:6-12.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All POWER is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 GO YE THEREFORE, and TEACH ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 TEACHING them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” Matthew 28:18-20.

“And he said unto them, GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD, and PREACH the GOSPEL to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and PREACHED EVERY WHERE, the Lord working with them, and CONFIRMING THE WORD with signs following. Amen” Mark 16:15-20.

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, TEACHING in their synagogues, and PREACHING the GOSPEL of the kingdom, and HEALING every sickness and every disease among the people” Matthew 9:35.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the Gospel of Salvation as the power of God that changes lives – impacting both the changeable and unchangeable aspects of life. It highlights the importance of sharing this gospel with others as God’s ambassadors in Christ Jesus.

Key Points:

The Gospel’s Power:
The gospel is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16-17).
It reveals God’s righteousness from faith to faith (Romans 1:17).
Salvation brings fruitfulness in the Spirit.

Global Task of Ambassadors:

Sharing the gospel is an inescapable, supreme task for God’s ambassadors.

Purpose: Populate the heavens, depopulate hell, advance God’s Kingdom, keep the enemy at bay.

Call to Action:

  1. When last did you share the gospel with unsaved loved ones, neighbours, colleagues?
  2. Make it a new dawn to share the gospel with those you care about and are reachable.
  3. The salvation of a soul is costly – only the gospel can redeem a soul.

Scriptural Foundation:

  1. Romans 1:16-17: Gospel is God’s power for salvation
  2. Acts 5:20: Speak words of life
  3. Romans 15:20-21: Preach where Christ isn’t known
  4. Psalms 49:6-12: Wealth can’t redeem a soul
  5. Matthew 28:18-20: Go, teach, baptize
  6. Mark 16:15-20: Preach to every creature
  7. Matthew 9:35: Jesus preached and healed

Themes:

  • Gospel’s Power: Changes lives, brings salvation
  • Ambassadors’ Task: Share gospel with passion
  • Soul’s Redemption: Costly, priceless, through gospel only

In essence:
The gospel is God’s power for salvation, changing lives and destinies. As ambassadors, we’re called to share it with passion and compassion, knowing the redemption of a soul is priceless.

THE PROMISES OF GOD – OUR DAILY LOADED BENEFITS

May 16, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE PROMISES OF GOD – OUR DAILY LOADED BENEFITS: IT’S TO ENHANCE AND AUTHENTICATE OUR REDEMPTION!

“Let us HOLD FAST the profession of our faith without wavering; FOR HE IS FAITHFUL THAT PROMISED” Hebrews 10:23.

“God is FAITHFUL, by whom ye were CALLED unto the FELLOWSHIP of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9.

Our God doesn’t only want to meet your “daily bread” need; He also wants to shower you with His ADD-ON BONUS – the DAILY LOADED BENEFITS embedded in your RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES in Christ Jesus stead. Imagine having BONUS, an ADD-ON to your normal daily earnings; that’s what it means to have BENEFITS to the NORMS daily BREAD that is generalised to ALL when you pray.

Our God will daily load us with His benefits in REDEMPTION in order to authenticate our salvation in Him. That’s why you must not give up or give in to any limiting circumstances until you begin to actualise God’s benefiting WILL, in your DAILY life.

Here are a few simple major reasons (though not limited) why Father God, in Christ Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, in His WORD, will authenticate His Daily Benefits:

  • That you have in all sufficiency and abundance for yourself – wanting nothing – thereby give Him thanks. [Philippians 4:17, 19; Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV/LB); John 10:10; 3 John 2].
  • That the Gospel might advance and the enemy and cohorts are kept at bay without limitations. [Luke 8:1-3; Zechariah 1:17; Haggai 2:6-9].
  • That you have plenty left over to give to others in great needs without murmuring, withholding, hoarding and complaining. [Galatians 6:1-9; Hebrews 6:9-12. Luke 6:38].
  • To make you, the saints in Christ Jesus, abide in the FAITH – for POVERTY takes people away from the FAITH. And to safeguard the saints from processing and seeking answers from ungodly places that will cause them to fall away from the faith; and keep the saints from becoming prey and victims of following ungodly, evil, and dubious ways to prosper; and to give the saints insights and foresights of grace and wisdom that keep them abiding in the faith, in order to achieve the desired scripturally – set greatness in Christ Jesus’ stead. [Psalms 23:6; John 15:4-8; Psalms 112:1-3; Psalms 125:3].
  • To cleanse the Church of evil and wickedness, oppression and destruction. POVERTY itself and POVERTY mentality, leads to stealing, robbery, bribery, evil, wickedness, kidnapping and such like. [Proverbs 30:7-9; Psalms 112:3; Psalms 89:20-29, 34].
  • To help keep and establish the righteous in freedom and dominion. [Ecclesiastes 9:13-18; Ecclesiastes 7:12].
  • To establish and authenticate God’s covenant of faith and faithfulness that’s only built on His sure and true foundation in the grace through faith in Christ Jesus stead. [2 Peter 1:19-21; Deuteronomy 8:18; Psalms 89:34; Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29; Jeremiah 33:20-21, 25-26; James 1:17].

The ADD-ON BONUS of God is a gracious and graceful way to live your life in the faith, not just from the DAILY BREAD but from the DAILY LOADED BENEFITS; that’s the essence of knowing your RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES In REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Blessed be the Lord, who DAILY loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our SALVATION (REDEMPTION). Selah” Psalms 68:19 (Emphasis Mine).

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy WILL be DONE in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us THIS DAY our DAILY BREAD . . .” Matthew 6:9-15.

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18.

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have OBTAINED LIKE PRECIOUS FAITH with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are given unto us EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:1-4.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises that God’s promises are not just about meeting basic needs (daily bread) but also about showering believers with ADD-ON BONUSES – the DAILY LOADED BENEFITS embedded in their rights and privileges in Christ Jesus.

Key Points:

  1. God’s Desire:
  • God wants to authenticate redemption by loading believers daily with benefits (Psalms 68:19).
  • These benefits are part of His covenant of faith and faithfulness (2 Peter 1:19-21, Deuteronomy 8:18).
  1.  Purpose of Daily Loaded Benefits:
  • Sufficiency & Abundance: Wanting nothing, giving thanks (Philippians 4:17, 19; Ephesians 1:3).
  • Gospel Advancement: Keeping the enemy at bay (Luke 8:1-3, Zechariah 1:17).
  • Generosity: Having plenty to give to others (Galatians 6:1-9, Luke 6:38).
  • Faith Preservation: Keeping saints in the faith, away from ungodly solutions (Psalms 23:6, John 15:4-8).
  • Cleansing & Freedom: Removing poverty mentality, establishing righteousness (Proverbs 30:7-9, Psalms 112:3).
  1.  God’s Faithfulness:
  • He is faithful to His promises (Hebrews 10:23, 1 Corinthians 1:9).
  • Believers are partakers of divine nature through His exceeding great promises (2 Peter 1:3-4).
  1.  Call to Believers:
  • Don’t give up; actualize God’s benefiting will in daily life.
  • Live in the ADD-ON BONUS of grace and loaded benefits, not just daily bread.
  • Know your rights and privileges in redemption (Ephesians 1:3, John 10:10).

Scriptures to Ponder:
Psalms 68:19, Matthew 6:9-15, 1 John 4:17-18, 2 Peter 1:1-4.

To Sum It Up:
God daily loads believers with benefits to enhance redemption, authenticate salvation, and establish them in faith, grace, and dominion through Christ Jesus.

You CAN Triumph and Overcome THAT Unwarranted LIFE Pressure

May 16, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

You CAN Triumph and Overcome THAT Unwarranted LIFE Pressure: There’s The STAND in The GRACE to Say ‘NO’ in You!

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into THIS GRACE WHEREIN WE STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2.

It’s high time to BUILD your life on PRINCIPLE – the PRINCIPLE that’s BASED ON God’s WORD and BUILT FROM the WORD of God. You need to ensure and be assured that what’s paramount in all your decisions on daily basis is PRINCIPLES that stands on God’s WORD of GRACE, in all you do in LIFE and GODLINESS. You can’t afford, as the REDEEMED of God, to fall PREY to the ENEMY and COHORTS, except for your inability to take and have a built-up PRINCIPLE that STANDS by your FAITH and GRACE in Christ Jesus’ stead. When you don’t have a PRINCIPLED stand that’s BASED ON God’s WORD and that’s BUILT FROM God’s WORD, you will FALL a PREY to any MANOEUVRE that comes on your path of life by the ENEMY and COHORTS waiting to devour.

“Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, as a ROARING lion, WALKETH about, SEEKING whom he may DEVOUR: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the SAME AFFLICTIONS are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” 1 Peter 5:8-11.

May I say and assure you that in Christ Jesus stead, you can make it GREAT in life and BECOME what God has MADE you be in salvation through REDEMPTION; and by the entrusted GRACE of God, if you CAN know the HOW to say ‘NO’ to ALL THINGS that LIMITS you and CONTRAVENE your ACTS of FAITH in Christ Jesus, NOTHING can stop your intended desire in and with God, in Christ Jesus stead – no matter what it is.

“For the GRACE of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It TEACHES us to say ‘NO’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. . . ” Titus 2:11-15/NIV.

Grace to me, in sum, is – God’s Riches At Christ Expense. And there’s an inner deposited ability and capacity embedded in your Salvation in Christ Jesus called GRACE. It’s to help you say NO to POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH. It thus means you can say NO to anything that limits you from where God in Christ Jesus have enthroned you in Him. You have a choice to resist steadfastly any act of sinful demands, worldly pressures, and lustful enticements that crosses your path of destiny in order for you to succeed, be fulfilled and to eat the good of the land wherein you dwell, work, school and do life.

Colourful living and a glorious life aren’t cheap. They demand the EXERCISING of the will of the GRACE that CAN say NO to setbacks and failure steadfastly. And you are GIVEN THE MEASURE of GRACE and FAITH to say “NO”. Therefore, blame no one anymore if you falter to be PRINCIPLED and fail to exercise the measure of will given  to you for VICTORY, TRIUMPH, and DOMINION.

If you CAN discipline yourself and be principled to say NO, you will and can keep yourself above the waters aimed to limit you from your godly position of greatness in Christ Jesus – and in knowing and understanding what the Scripture says about you.

Saying “NO” is godly and it’s a principle to stand upon to live the “I CAN” in LIFE and GODLINESS in Christ Jesus stead as it’s written:

“I CAN DO ALL THINGS through Christ which strengtheneth me” Philippians 4:13.

BE BLESSED – BE EMPOWERED TO SUCCEED.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For the GRACE of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It TEACHES us to say ‘NO’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. . . “ Titus 2:11-15/NIV.

“But unto every one of us is GIVEN GRACE according to THE MEASURE of the GIFT of Christ” Ephesians 4:7.

“For I say, through the GRACE GIVEN unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man THE MEASURE of FAITH” Romans 12:3

“I CAN DO ALL THINGS through Christ which strengtheneth me” Philippians 4:13.

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into THIS GRACE WHEREIN WE STAND and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2.

SUMMARY:

The message teaches that in Christ Jesus, you have the grace and ability to say NO to anything that limits you, so you can live in victory, triumph, and dominion.

Key Points

  1. Grace Empowers You to Say NO and Stand Firm
  • Grace is the stand you have in Christ. It gives you the inner ability to resist pressure, sin, and anything contrary to God’s Word.
  • Scripture: Romans 5:1-2 – We have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand
  • Scripture: Titus 2:11-12 – Grace teaches us to say NO to ungodliness and worldly passions
  1.   Build Your Life on God’s Word-Based Principles
  • Your decisions daily must be governed by principles rooted in God’s Word of grace.
  • Without a principled stand, you become vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes.
  • Scripture: 1 Peter 5:8-9 – Be sober, vigilant, resist the devil steadfast in faith
  1. Grace is an Inner Deposited Ability and Capacity
  • Grace is defined as “God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.” It’s deposited in you at salvation.
  • It empowers you to say NO to poverty, sickness, spiritual death, and all forms of limitation.
  • Scripture: Ephesians 4:7 – Grace is given according to the measure of the gift of Christ
  • Scripture: Romans 12:3 – God has dealt to every man the measure of faith
  1. You Must Exercise the Grace and Faith Given to You
  • Colourful living and a glorious life require you to actively exercise the will of grace to say NO to setbacks and failure.
  • Blame shifts when you fail to use the measure of grace and faith given for victory, triumph, and dominion.
  • Scripture: Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me
  1.  Standing Above Limitation is Your Position in Christ

When you discipline yourself and be principled enough to say NO, you remain above the pressures meant to limit you.

This is how you live out your godly position of greatness and fulfil God’s plan for your life.

Final Exhortation

In Christ, you can become all God has made you to be. If you know how to say NO to things that limit you and contravene your faith, nothing can stop your purpose in God. Keep the heart of grace alive, exercise it, and walk in victory.

Scriptures to Ponder: Titus 2:11-15, Ephesians 4:7, Romans 12:3, Philippians 4:13, Romans 5:1-2

GRATITUDE – A THANKSGIVING AND THANKS LIVING HEARTEDNESS

May 16, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

GRATITUDE – A THANKSGIVING AND THANKS LIVING HEARTEDNESS: IT’S THE POWER AND ESSENCE OF HIGHER ALTITUDE!

“And WHATSOEVER ye DO in WORD or DEED, DO ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus, GIVING THANKS to God and the Father by Him” Colossians 3:17.

GRATITUDE – is the quality of being thankful and grateful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. Having and expressing a heart of GRATITUDE is a gracious and graceful ATTITUDE to live in, for one’s ALTITUDE in doing life and living godly in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Hence there’s the need to live a GRATEFUL and THANKFUL life in all circumstances and situations, irrespective of one’s status, creed, colour, gender, or tongue.

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the Spirit; 19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 GIVING THANKS ALWAYS for ALL THINGS unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” Ephesians 5:18-20.

When you come to a place of acknowledging goodwill and goodness in life and grace – that place of not only GIVING God THANKS at the point of INCIDENCE, but you have a LIVING ATTITUDE to give THANKS ALWAYS without prejudice, therein is a set place knowingly and unknowingly of ALTITUDE in life.

That’s an atmosphere wherein you just LIVE in the REALM of THANKS – and such a heartfelt ATTITUDE from the heart, will ALWAYS reciprocate and create an enabling for an ALTITUDE that’s beyond human words, but found in knowledge and understanding, as the Holy writ do encourage.

“By him therefore let us OFFER the SACRIFICE of PRAISE to God CONTINUALLY, that is, the FRUIT of our lips GIVING THANKS to his name” Hebrews 13:15.

“And they sang together by course in PRAISING and GIVING THANKS unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people SHOUTED with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the FOUNDATION of the house of the Lord was laid” Ezra 3:11.

I therefore urge you to ensure that your THANKSGIVING act of GRATITUDE becomes a THANKS LIVING ATTITUDE for your ALTITUDE. For God loves a cheerful giver of thanksgiving and appreciation of a goodwill.

Keep the heart of gratitude [being thankful and grateful] alive and ever flaming in you, as you do life and live godly in the grace. Make it a living in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Be CAREFUL FOR NOTHING; but IN EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication with THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the PEACE of God, which PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:6-7.

“For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. 15 By him therefore let us OFFER the sacrifice of praise to God CONTINUALLY, that is, the FRUIT of our lips GIVING THANKS to his name. 16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased” Hebrews 13:14-16.

“In everything GIVE THANKS: for this is the WILL of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

“Be ye therefore FOLLOWERS of God, as DEAR children; 2 and WALK IN LOVE, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: BUT RATHER GIVING OF THANKS . . .” Ephesians 5:1-5

“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother, 2 to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 We GIVE THANKS to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints . . .” Colossians 1:8.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and GIVING OF THANKS, be made for all men” 1 Timothy 2:1.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the importance of gratitude and thanksgiving in the life of a believer.

Key points include:

  • Gratitude is a quality of being thankful and grateful, and it’s a gracious attitude to live in.
  • Believers are encouraged to live a grateful and thankful life in all circumstances, irrespective of status, creed, colour, gender, or tongue.
  • Giving thanks to God should not be limited to specific incidents but should be a living attitude.
  • Living in the realm of thanks creates an atmosphere of awesome altitude, beyond human words.
  • Scriptures encourage believers to offer sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving to God continually.
  • Gratitude is a will of God, and believers should make it a living attitude in their lives.

Key Scriptures:

  • Colossians 3:17, Ephesians 5:18-20, Hebrews 13:15, Ezra 3:11, Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Ephesians 5:1-5, Colossians 1:3-4, 1 Timothy 2:1

Main Takeaway:
Gratitude is a powerful attitude that can elevate believers to a higher altitude in life. By living a life of thanksgiving and praise, believers can experience God’s presence and peace and demonstrate their love and appreciation for His goodness.

THE PROMISE OF GOD – EVER TRUE AND SURE

May 15, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE PROMISE OF GOD – EVER TRUE AND SURE: THE SWITCHED BUTTON IS ALWAYS ON A YES MODE AND CODE – AND YOU CAN BANK ON IT!

“But as God is TRUE, our word toward you was not YEA and NAY. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was PREACHED among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was NOT YEA and NAY, but in Him was YEA. 20 For all the PROMISES of God in Him are YEA, and in Him AMEN, unto the glory of God by us. 21 Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 who hath also SEALED us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts” 2 Corinthians 1:18-22/Amplified.

The promised Word of our Father God in Christ Jesus, as written in the Holy writ, are sealed, activated, and preserved, and operated by the Holy Spirit of PROMISE – and the PROMISED WORD is ever TRUE and ever SURE; and the SWITCHED button for access in the grace is ALWAYS on a YES MODE and YES CODE; that’s the reason to BANK ON IT in CONTEXT in the grace by faith. For it’s not limited in answer to your situation and it’s IRRESPECTIVE of your CIRCUMSTANCES, and it’s without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation.

Therefore, lift up your head, raise up your shoulders, and stand on your high heels of faith in the grace, and step into each of your dawn days with hope and assurance, because the promises of God are ever sure and ever true any time and any day in the grace. For our God is faithful to all His promises, and your delay is not His denial for sure; for He will be on time in the grace, as He walks with you and walks you through His divine processing to enact and authenticate His WORD, while you steadfastly hold fast and hold forth His promises, unwavering, into your reality and tangibility in the grace wherein you stand.

“FAITHFUL and ABSOLUTELY TRUSTWORTHY is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will DO it [He will FULFILL His call by MAKING you holy, GUARDING you, WATCHING over you, and PROTECTING you as His own]” 1 Thessalonians 5:24/Amplified.

“God is FAITHFUL [He is RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY and EVER TRUE to His PROMISE—He can be DEPENDED on], and through Him you were CALLED into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9/Amplified.

“Let us SEIZE and HOLD TIGHTLY the CONFESSION [DECLARATION, PROCLAMATION, PROFESSION] of our hope WITHOUT WAVERING, for He who PROMISED is RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY and FAITHFUL [to His WORD]” Hebrews 10:23/Amplified.

To authenticate that God is true and ever sure, He has given us the Holy Spirit as a seal of ownership which also guarantees as a down payment or security deposit to His promises for our assurance.

“Such hope [in God’s PROMISES] NEVER DISAPPOINTS us, because God’s love has been abundantly POURED out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us” Romans 5:5/Amplified.

“Now it is God who ESTABLISHES and CONFIRMS us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and who has ANOINTED us [empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit]; 22 it is He who has also put His SEAL on us [that is, He has APPROPRIATED us and CERTIFIED us as His] and has GIVEN us the [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as a PLEDGE [like a SECURITY DEPOSIT to GUARANTEE the fulfillment of His PROMISE of eternal life]” 2 Corinthians 1:21-22/Amplified Classic Edition.

When you are assured of this act of God, you need not allow worry and anxiety to rule and own your day. Stand up, step up and win your day.

May every grace and blessings be yours TODAY and ALWAYS in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee” 2 Corinthians 1:20-22.

“But you have an ANOINTING from the Holy One [you have been SET APART, specially GIFTED and PREPARED by the Holy Spirit], and all of you know [the truth because He TEACHES us, ILLUMINATES our minds, and GUARDS us from error] . . . 27 As for you, the ANOINTING [the special gift, the preparation] which you RECEIVED from Him REMAINS [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His ANOINTING TEACHES you [giving you insight through the PRESENCE of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is TRUE and is NOT A LIE, and just as His ANOINTING has taught you, you must remain in Him [being ROOTED in Him, KNIT to Him]” 1 John 2:20, 27/Amplified.

WHOLESOME LIVING MADE POSSIBLE IN THE GRACE

May 15, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

WHOLESOME LIVING MADE POSSIBLE IN THE GRACE: BY TAKING A SCRIPTURAL STAND AND SPEAKING FORTH ON THE WHOLESOME WORDS OF THIS LIFE!

“So all bore witness to Him [JESUS], and marvelled at the GRACIOUS [WHOLESOME] WORDS which PROCEEDED OUT OF HIS MOUTH. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?” Luke 4:22/NKJV/Emphasis Mine.

“A man’s stomach shall be SATISFIED from the FRUIT OF HIS MOUTH; From the PRODUCE of his LIPS, he shall be FILLED. 21 DEATH and LIFE are in the POWER of the TONGUE, And those who LOVE it will EAT ITS FRUIT” Proverbs 18:20-22/NKJV.

God is interested in you having ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE THAT MAKES A WHOLESOME LIVING. He is interested in the good of all the aspects of your life. He wants you not only to be HEAVENLY MINDED and MINDFUL, but also to be of EARTHLY GOOD and WORTH, in all that pertains to this LIFE and GODLINESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“Go, STAND and SPEAK in the TEMPLE to the people ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE” – Acts 5:20.

The ongoing of life matters in your whole being – Spirit, Soul and Body – needs to bring you to a place where you’re blameless, to be full of life, bubbling and in great goodness, graciousness and gracefulness; and in  course of doing life – meaning, you are in state of being – HEAVENLY MINDED and MINDFUL, and to be equally accompanied by a state of being – EARTHLY GOOD and WORTH. That’s God’s gracious and graceful Plan, Purpose and Pursuit for you while in this state of humanity.

As Jesus increased in WISDOM [Mentally sound], STATURE [Physically – Physique healthy], and in FAVOUR with God [Spiritually Communing] and FAVOUR with Man [Socially, emotionally, and Economically connected], even so God intends for us to experience accordingly, in His plan, purpose and pursuit in REDEMPTION, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

Therefore, it’s expedient and imperative that we are informed and acquainted with ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE and the mode of operation; and more importantly, how they relate to God’s WORD, to enable us to DO LIFE with ease in the GRACE wherein we STAND; and be WHOLE in – spirit, soul, and body, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

It’s now time to stop LIVING on – the UNFINISHED MADE and BAKED meal or food, while it’s time for you to take WHOLESOME WORD to make a WHOLESOME LIVING in the grace in Christ Jesus stead, as you do life and live godly in the grace.

“Now may the God of peace Himself SANCTIFY you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you PURE and WHOLE and UNDAMAGED—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept COMPLETE and [be found] BLAMELESS at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23/Amplified.

“For THE WORD of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the DIVISION of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very THOUGHTS and INTENTIONS of the heart. 13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are OPEN and EXPOSED, and REVEALED to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account” Hebrews 4:12-13/Amplified.

I hereby commend you in Christ Jesus stead, to GO FORTH AND TAKE A STAND in grace, and then thrive, live and do life wholly, completely, fully, totally, entirely, and steadfastly in every way. Now it’s your ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, to ensure you actualise your BLESSEDNESS in REDEMPTION, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

MAKE YOUR WHOLESOME LIVING POSSIBLE BY TAKING A SCRIPTURAL STAND AND SPEAKING FORTH ON THE WHOLESOME WORDS OF THIS LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD. AMEN.

BLESSED REGARDS!

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And Jesus INCREASED in WISDOM and STATURE, and in FAVOUR with God and Man” Luke 2:52.

“Go, STAND and SPEAK in the TEMPLE to the people ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE” – Acts 5:20.

“And the very God of peace SANCTIFY you WHOLLY (PERFECTLY, COMPLETELY, FULLY, TOTALLY, ENTIRELY); and I pray God your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23/Emphasis Mine.

“For the WORD OF GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the DIVIDING ASUNDER of SOUL and SPIRIT, and of THE JOINTS AND MARROW, and is a DISCERNER of the THOUGHTS and INTENTS OF THE HEART. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not MANIFEST in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” Hebrews 4:12-13.

‘GRACE and PEACE be MULTIPLIED unto you through the KNOWLEDGE of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath GIVEN unto us ALL things that PERTAIN unto LIFE and GODLINESS, through the KNOWLEDGE of him that hath CALLED us to GLORY and VIRTUE: 4 whereby are GIVEN unto us exceeding GREAT and PRECIOUS promises: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:2-4.

BE DEFINED BY GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS

May 14, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

BE DEFINED BY GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS: THE ASSURED GRACE OF RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD IN LIFE AND GODLINESS!

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A SCEPTER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS is the scepter of Your kingdom. 7 You love RIGHTEOUSNESS and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has ANOINTED You With the OIL OF GLADNESS MORE THAN YOUR COMPANIONS” Psalms 45:6-7.

Let your LEGACY of doing life and living godly be defined by God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS [a right standing with God] in Christ Jesus in you.

For Jesus Christ, experience in humanity, was marked by God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS, in order for him to ensure and be assured, of God’s ever ANOINTED presence which was with Him, to make Him stay enabled and above all and above only. [Hebrews 1:7-9; Psalms 45:6-7].

“And of the ANGELS He says: “Who makes His ANGELS spirits And His MINISTERS a flame of fire.” 8 But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A SCEPTER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS is the scepter of Your kingdom. 9 You have LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has ANOINTED You With the OIL OF GLADNESS MORE THAN YOUR COMPANIONS” Hebrews 1:7-9/NKJV.

The Kingdom of God is consummated with a SCEPTER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and Jesus ensures that He loves RIGHTEOUSNESS [a right standing with God] and hates wickedness, to keep the enemy at bay and in order to be assured that He earned God’s approval instead of men’s applauds and hyper – [Acts 2:22; 2 Timothy 2:15].

Don’t you cherish such sphere and realm of doing life and living godly by God in Christ Jesus stead? [Matthew 6:33 (Luke 12:31]. God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS is the only stand to hold on to in Him – and as we do life and live godly in the midst of the fallibility of the human nature, human acceptance and of the hope and assurance before men. And it’s in the knowing and understanding that the kingdom of God, is not a matter of pleasure in eating and drinking, but it’s about RIGHTEOUSNESS, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit.

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but RIGHTEOUSNESS, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” Romans 14:17.

And if you desire to live and be ABOVE ONLY it’s not by mouth-talking but rather to ensure and be assured that you are standing on God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS in Christ Jesus Amen.

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS shall REIGN IN LIFE by one, Jesus Christ.) . . . 21 that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace REIGN through RIGHTEOUSNESS unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 5:17, 21.

Therefore, seek first the kingdom of God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS, then addition will commence in your life and wellbeing in godliness. God knows about your need of at least the three basics necessity in life – Food, Clothing and Shelter. He doesn’t want you to toil like unbelievers to obtain the basic necessity and much more, hence He wants you to lay the fundamental foundation in kingdom to His provision in redemption for you, effortlessly and without sweat and boredom.

“. . . 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we EAT? or, What shall we DRINK? or, Wherewithal shall we be CLOTHED? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWETH THAT YE HAVE NEED OF ALL THESE THINGS. 33 But SEEK YE FIRST the kingdom of God, and His RIGHTEOUSNESS; and all these things shall be ADDED unto you . . .” Matthew 6:31-33 [25-34].

Give God an opportunity to be your Father for once again in righteousness. Let Him make you be in His plan, purpose and pursuit for your wellbeing in Christ Jesus. [Jeremiah 29:11]. Let your definition be founded in God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS in Christ Jesus stead. It’s time to flourish like a cedar in Lebanon, flourish like the Palm tree, flourish in the courts of our God. Flourish at all ages of your being in life and grace. For God wants to assure you that He’s Faithful and there’s no unrighteousness with Him in the grace. It’s time to get yourself rooted, grounded and established in the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Christ Jesus to be ABOVE only and enjoy the heritage of the redeemed of God in Christ Jesus stead, Amen. [Psalms 92:12-15; Isaiah 54:13-17].

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“The RIGHTEOUS will FLOURISH like the date palm [long-lived, upright and useful]; They will grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic and stable]. 13 Planted in the house of the Lord, They will FLOURISH in the courts of our God. 14 [Growing in grace] they will still thrive and bear fruit and prosper in old age; They will FLOURISH and be vital and fresh [rich in trust and love and contentment]; 15 [They are living memorials] to declare that the Lord is upright and faithful [to His promises]; He is my rock, and there is NO UNRIGHTEOUSNESS in Him” Psalms 92:12-15/Amplified.

“And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. 14 In RIGHTEOUSNESS shalt thou be ESTABLISHED: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No WEAPON that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the HERITAGE of the servants of the Lord, and their RIGHTEOUSNESS is of me, saith the Lord” Isaiah 54:13-17.

“. . . 29 And seek not ye what ye shall EAT, or what ye shall DRINK, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather SEEK YE THE KINGDOM of God; and all these things shall be ADDED unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s GOOD PLEASURE to give you the kingdom” Luke 12:22-32.

SUMMARY:

Key Points:

  1. God’s righteousness marks Jesus and should mark believers (Psalms 45:6-7, Hebrews 1:7-9).
  2. The kingdom of God is about RIGHTEOUSNESS, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

THE PROMISES OF GOD – EVER TRUE AND EVER SURE

May 14, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE PROMISES OF GOD – EVER TRUE AND EVER SURE: YOU CAN BANK ON IT TODAY AND ALWAYS!

“For SURELY THERE IS AN END; and thine EXPECTATION shall not be Cut Off” Proverbs 23:18 [Proverbs 24:14].

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS: 35 but in EVERY NATION he that feareth (REVERENCE) him, and WORKETH RIGHTEOUSNESS, is ACCEPTED with him” Acts 10:34-35/Emphasis Mine.

Step into the day with HOPE and ASSURANCE in FAITH that WORKS through LOVE, because the PROMISES of God are ever sure and true. You can BANK on His PROMISSORY NOTE to you, because God is FAITHFUL to all His promises, and your momentary delay does not mean His denial of you for sure – He will be on time as always. [Philippians 1:6; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 10:23; Galatians 5:6; 1 Thessalonians 1:3-5].

God plays no gimmicks as men neither with men. And of two immutabilities of His counsel – in order to authenticate with assurances to His PROMISES, He has taken an oath in His NAME and His WORD; that’s to say – He can’t and won’t lie and can’t begin one with you now or ever. His PROMISES to us are EVER SURE And STEADFAST – you can BANK on it today, and even now. [Psalms 138:2/Amplified; Hebrews 6:16-20; Numbers 23:19, 23; Matthew 24:35 (Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33)].

“I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have EXALTED above all else Your NAME and Your WORD and You have MAGNIFIED Your WORD above all Your NAME!” Psalms 138:2/Amplified Classic Edition.

To authenticate that God is faithful, true, and ever sure, He has GIVEN us the Holy Spirit as a SEAL of ownership, which is also His PLEDGE to GUARANTEE as a DOWN payment and SECURITY DEPOSIT on His promises to you and all. Moreover, He has assured us that His promises are only in the YES and AMEN, and never in the NO or NAY, as some may have purportedly claimed, which is unfortunate.

“For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was PREACHED among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not “YES” and “NO,” but has proved to be “YES” in Him [true and faithful, the divine “YES” affirming God’s promises]. 20 For as many as are the PROMISES of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “YES.” So through Him we say our “AMEN” to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who ESTABLISHES and CONFIRMS us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and who has ANOINTED us [empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit]” 2 Corinthians 1:19-21/Amplified.

When you are ASSURED of this INSURED act of God, you need not allow worry and anxiety to rule and own your day. It’s your moment to STAND upright, STEP on, HEAD up and straight, SHOULDER high and HEELS of faith high, to win your day. [Philippians 1:6; 1 John 5:13-15].

You can BANK on God’s PROMISES to you today – and you can CHECK in that HEAVENLY PROMISSORY NOTE and Live joyfully all day long in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

May every grace and blessings that are yours in Christ Jesus abound more and more. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For men verily SWEAR by THE GREATER: and an OATH FOR CONFIRMATION is to them an END of all strife. 17 Wherein God, WILLING MORE ABUNDANTLY to shew unto the HEIRS OF PROMISE THE IMMUTABILITY OF HIS COUNSEL, CONFIRMED IT BY AN OATH: 18 that by TWO IMMUTABLE THINGS, in which it was IMPOSSIBLE for God to LIE, we might have a STRONG CONSOLATION, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the HOPE set before us: 19 which HOPE we have as AN ANCHOR of the soul, both SURE and STEDFAST, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 whither the forerunner is for us ENTERED, even Jesus, MADE an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec” Hebrews 6:16-20.

“But YOU HAVE AN ANOINTING from the Holy One, and you know all things . . . 27 But the ANOINTING which you HAVE RECEIVED from Him ABIDES in you, and you do not need that anyone TEACH you; but as the SAME ANOINTING TEACHES you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has TAUGHT you, you will ABIDE in Him” 1 John 2:20, 27.

“Let us hold fast the PROFESSION (CONFESSION) of our hope without WAVERING, for He who promised is FAITHFUL” Hebrews 10:23.

“God is NOT A MAN, that he should lie; NEITHER the son of man, that he should repent: hath he SAID, and shall he not DO it? or hath he SPOKEN, and shall he not MAKE IT GOOD? . . .23 Surely there is no ENCHANTMENT AGAINST Jacob, neither is there any DIVINATION AGAINST Israel: ACCORDING TO THIS TIME it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, what hath God wrought!” Numbers 23:19, 23.

“Being CONFIDENT of this very thing, that he which hath BEGUN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL PERFORM IT until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6.

“These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in him, that, if we ASK ANY THING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE HEARETH US: 15 and if we know that he HEAR us, WHATSOEVER we ASK, we know that we have the PETITIONS that we DESIRED of him” 1 John 5:13-15.

May 13, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

PASTORAL SHEPHERDING – IT’S NOT A GAME: IT’S ABOUT MATURING GOD’S HERITAGE IN THE SPIRIT!

“And I will GIVE you PASTORS according to mine heart, which shall FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING” Jeremiah 3:15.

“And I will SET UP SHEPHERDS over them which shall FEED them: and they shall FEAR no more, nor be DISMAYED, neither shall they be LACKING, saith the Lord” Jeremiah 23:4.

The PASTORAL MINISTRY otherwise the SHEPHERDING of God’s heritage – the flocks of God, is an ACCOUNTABLE and RESPONSIBLE calling of grace, that’s built on the PRINCIPLE of looking well after the state of God’s herds – the Churches of His grace.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And he GAVE some, APOSTLES; and some, PROPHETS; and some, EVANGELISTS; and some, PASTORS and TEACHERS; 12 for the PERFECTING (MATURING, EQUIPPING) of the saints, for the WORK of the ministry, for the EDIFYING of the body of Christ: 13 till we all come in the UNITY of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a PERFECT (MATURED) man, unto THE MEASURE of the STATURE of the FULNESS of Christ: 14 that we henceforth be NO MORE children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 but SPEAKING the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 from whom the WHOLE body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the EFFECTUAL working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the EDIFYING of itself in love” Ephesians 4:11-16 (Emphasis Mine).

“Be thou DILIGENT to know the STATE OF THY FLOCKS, and LOOK WELL TO THY HERDS. 24 For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? 25 The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered. 26 The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field. 27 And thou shalt have goats’ milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens” Proverbs 27:23-27.

“The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2 FEED the FLOCK of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for FILTHY LUCRE, but of a READY MIND; 3 neither as being lords over God’s HERITAGE, but being ENSAMPLES to the FLOCK. 4 And when the CHIEF SHEPHERD shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away” 1 Peter 5:1-4.

“I am the GOOD SHEPHERD: the GOOD shepherd giveth his life for the SHEEP” John 10:11.

“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that GREAT SHEPHERD of the SHEEP, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” Hebrews 13:20-21.

“So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, FEED MY LAMBS. 16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, FEED MY SHEEP. 17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, FEED MY SHEEP” John 20:15-17.

SUMMARY:

  1. Pastoral ministry is about shepherding God’s people (Jeremiah 3:15, Jeremiah 23:4, Ephesians 4:11-16).

DON’T BE A LAZYBUTT IN THE KINGDOM

May 13, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

DON’T BE A LAZYBUTT IN THE KINGDOM: AWAKE TO READING – MAKE A DIFFERENCE – BE FREE FROM IGNORANCE AND THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN!

Ignorance is not just destructive, but enslaves one, keeps one in CAPTIVITY and BONDAGE of all sorts; it’s WORST than a CANCEROUS disease, it short-circuits one’s present and future greatness, and makes one unknowingly own up and give up one’s WILL and WORTH, thereby DESTROYING one’s PURPOSE in LIFE and GODLY LIVING [Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 11 (AMP); Romans 8:28; Ephesians 1:11(AMP); 1 Corinthians 2:9-10].

You can’t afford in 21st Century as the REDEEMED in Christ Jesus, to live less than what REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus has offered you and us all:

  • To make us Triumphant, Victorious, More Than Conquerors and an Overcomer of this present world through FAITH until Christ Jesus earnest return [2 Corinthians 2:14; Colossians 2:15; Exodus 15:1-2, 21; 1 Corinthians 15:57; Romans 8:47; 1 John 5:4-5; Revelation 12:11];
  • To take us and deliver us from the dark and darkness of limitations and failures into the indescribable and incomprehensible gracious and graceful bosom of His good and goodness in doing life and godly living [Galatians 1:3-5].

Henceforth, there’s need to stop been in a hurry to escape from reality of LIFE and GODLY LIVING, because of you been a LAZYBUTT and in LOUSINESS as if nothing matters. Know today SOMETHING matters in life my dear – and it’s about LIFE and GODLY LIVING. You are BORN AGAIN to be FULFILED and to live a life that’s meaningful and purposeful in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

The born of God in Christ Jesus stead is inexcusable in all matters of trying to play IGNORANCE – [Acts 17:30-31]. And you ARE only MISTAKEN and working in ERRORS because of IGNORANCE of the TRUTH – For the TRUTH always SETS one FREE in Christ Jesus stead [Matthew 22:29; John 8:32; John 14:6]. You need to realise and know for sure, it’s your failures and faults, in refusing to apply life’s principles, to take responsibility and accountability when you fail through ignorance. Someone may be responsible for your falling into the ditch; you can’t keep blaming that person for you remaining in the ditch, playing a victim card and claiming entitlement rights.

You are responsible and accountable for the decision you make to either RISE UP to be ABOVE ONLY, or to STAY BACKWARDS, or to STAND STILL in a circus, mourning, complaining, excusing, accusing, and such like. You don’t need to stay vulnerable and downcast to fulfil a sentimental position or attain prejudice and dissimulation as a norm to stay disrespected and then embrace pity party clothing for temporary happiness. You need to take a stand in grace to enable you attain the enduring, onward and upward trajectory happiness and fulfilment, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

HENCE, I SAY:

“INFORMED LEADERS ARE READERS AND WORLD CHANGERS. UNTIL YOU READ TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU READ, YOU ARE STILL IGNORANT. THEREFORE READ, KNOW AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU LEAD AND TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE” – Chukie MORSI Snr (Chukie MORSI Books Extract).

It’s time to wake up, rise up like an edifice from your LAZYBUTT and give yourself to READING that will emancipate, rekindle, refresh, synergise and geared you to INNOVATE, CREATE, EXPLORE, INITIATE and MANOEUVRE into your unimaginable, better and best days, while making the difference and fulfilling PURPOSE, in the now of God for you and those you care about in life and godly living in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

YOU ARE THE BEST OF GOD FOR YOU, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR STREET, YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR NATION AND YOUR WORLD. DON’T FAIL THROUGH IGNORANCE – IT’S WORST THAN A CANCEROUS DISEASE.

I PRAY YOU UNDERSTAND MY PASSION FOR YOU TO RISE AND BEGIN AGAIN. THERE’S A MIRACLE AWAITING YOU AGAIN. GIVE YOURSELF TO READING. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. Don’t faint. Don’t go weary, Don’t be anxious. Knowledge delivers, emancipates and rewards in life and godly living in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Till I come, GIVE ATTENDANCE TO READING, to exhortation, to doctrine” 1 Timothy 4:13.

“STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a WORKMAN that NEEDETH not to be ASHAMED, rightly DIVIDING (APPLYING) the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15 (Emphasis Mine).

“And the TIMES OF THIS IGNORANCE God WINKED (OVERLOOKED) at; but NOW commandeth ALL men every where to REPENT: 31 because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” Acts 17:30-31 (Emphasis Mine).

“Jesus answered and said unto them, YE DO ERR (ERROR, ERRONEOUS), not KNOWING the scriptures (God’s INTENT), nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29 (Emphasis Mine).

“Jesus answered and said to them, “YOU ARE MISTAKEN, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God” Matthew 22 29 (NKJV).
