UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
Because of God’s love for us – He brought us to life with Christ – even when we were spiritually dead because of our sins.
What does it mean to love the Lord?
It is to keep His Word. (1 John 5:3)
Jesus Christ said that the evidence that you love Him will be seen in the way you obey what He commands you to do. (John 14:15)
This obedience can only come because of the presence of the Holy Spirit. You cannot do it apart from Him. As a child of God, He is with you and in you.
The Holy Spirit is the reason why you are able to love your neighbour or to feed your enemy – because He has poured His love into your hearts. (Romans 5:5)
Love one another. Faith works through love. True disciples live in and by love. Love transcends the senses. God is love.
