TO BEING OBEDIENT AND ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH: PUT ON YOUR HEARING EARS ON GOD’S SAYINGS! 

“. . . 5 And so were the churches ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, and increased in number daily” Acts 16:1-5. “. . . 7 And THE WORD OF GOD INCREASED; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH” Acts 6:1-7. 

“. . . 5 By WHOM [JESUS] we have RECEIVED GRACE and apostleship, for OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name . . . 11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some SPIRITUAL GIFT, to the end ye may be ESTABLISHED; 12 that is, that I may be comforted together with you by the MUTUAL FAITH both of you and me” Romans 1:5, 11-12. 

One of the great remarks in the New Creation deliverance, justification and freedom in the grace is to BEING ESTABLISHED [Acts 16:5; Romans 1:11-12] and BEING OBEDIENT [Acts 6:7; Romans 1:5; Isaiah 1:9] in the Faith. And it’s the knowing and understanding that gives the gracious enabling to COMMUNICATE THE FAITH effectually; and the FAITH, is the consequence of THE HEARING OF THE WORD of God in Christ Jesus. You can only be productive, and results oriented in the grace to communicate effectually the faith that you are established and obedient towards, which is, the Faith towards God and in His Christ, our Saviour and Lord. Faith is the vitality and legality on how the repentance foundation that offers and ushers us all that believe into the fulness of God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead, become our reality in its tangibility in the grace. Amen. 

“I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 that THE COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. 7 For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother” Philemon 1:4-7. 

“And how I kept back nothing that was PROFITABLE unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, 21 testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God, and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21. 

And as a Believer of God in Christ Jesus stead, there’s the need to be intentional and pragmatic, by ensuring for your assured SALVATION, that you give your ears to hear and keep hearing with your listening ears , always from the Lord before you ascertain anything in the grace, knowing and understanding, that your God in Christ Jesus will lead you alright in life and grace to fulfil purpose meaningfully. That’s the how to stay strong and steadfastly stronger in life and in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

For your opportunity now to have hearing aid listening ears, conditioned to hear God only as a default to certify other voices for yourself, without intermediary of men by any means, knowing that Christ Jesus is the only mediator between God and men; and He’s the only name given by God under the heavens on earth for all humans salvation and transactions, and it’s irrespective; so, don’t limit and deny yourself of divine access that’s without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation. For God still speaks today by His Word to His own, irrespective of stands; and as His reborn [New Creation] you need to know and understand on how to stand on the justified place of grace in the Faith to access God in the faith, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

“For there is one God, and ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5. 

“Be it KNOWN unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man STAND here before you WHOLE. 11 This is the stone, which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there SALVATION in ANY OTHER: for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” Acts 4:12. 

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED by FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS by FAITH into this GRACE wherein we STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2. 

And if I may ask you now; 

“Who are you giving your listening ears to and inclining your hearing ears towards?” 

“From whom are you receiving the SAYINGS that you speak and act upon, that pertains to your life endeavours and travels?” 

“And what are you inclining your ears towards in your hearing?” 

Know and understand for sure, while being assured in the grace, that you can’t incline your listening ears to hear from the Lord and miss your direction of travel, but if otherwise, you are the CUSTODIAN of what you feed upon and the effect and consequences belongs to you too and not someone else’s. Hence you need to assure to ensure, that you can take the responsibility and accountability to who, to where, to whom, to how, to what, your hearing ears is inclined to listen in the hearing; this is about knowing whether whatever you are hearing is what uplift your faith in an onward and upward trajectory, and toward God’s will, plan, purpose and pursuit in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

“He that is of God HEARETH God’s WORDS: ye therefore HEAR them NOT, because ye are NOT of God” John 8:47. 

“And I will GIVE you PASTORS according to mine heart, which shall FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING” Jeremiah 3:15. 

As we are exploring this Month MARCH theme, “THE HEARING OF THE WORD”, it’s very important to be intentional and pragmatic of having a healthy spiritual wellbeing debility check – that’s for you to take an inward look to EXAMINE who has been speaking into your life and the sources of what you’ve been filtering into your spiritual being that can eventually affect your soul-being and body-being. Know full well that whatever you’ve been giving your hearing ears to listen will define your tenet of faith in the grace; hence you need to be certain that what you are receiving with your hearing ears dose worth the essence of your being and to living graciously and gracefully, and to actualising your redemption in Christ Jesus. Upon this context and concept and perspective, I therefore commend you to meditate on the scriptures of Acts 20:32 text, that by the essence, you can access your inheritance and be fulfilled purposefully in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD OF HIS GRACE, which is able to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” Acts 20:32. 

You can resolve today to keep at bay all forms of GARBAGE, irrespective of who speaks or saying something, and give your EARS to the HEARING of THE WORD that BUILDS FAITH, ESTABLISHES FAITH, ensures OBEDIENCE IN THE FAITH, and assures COMMUNICATION OF THE FAITH and DEFINE your WELL BEING in LIFE and GODLY LIVING in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. And it’s only by “THE HEARING OF THE WORD” can our life be imparted and impacted mutually in the faith [Romans 1:11-12]. Apostle Paul earnest desire, and heartbeat, was to see God’s people imparted and impacted mutually with the spiritual gift, as by the WORD, to keep the Believer’s in obedience and established in the faith, in the Lord Christ Jesus without contradiction from faith to faith. Amen. 

“By WHOM [JESUS] we have RECEIVED GRACE and apostleship, for OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name . . . 9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 10 making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. 11 For I long to see you, that I may IMPART unto you some SPIRITUAL GIFT, to the end ye may be ESTABLISHED; 12 that is, that I may be comforted together with you by the MUTUAL FAITH both of you and me” Romans 1:5, 9-12. 

You need to INSTALL a FILTER to EXAMINE your hearing ears in order to keep the garbage at bay, I repeat, to keep the garbage at bay – into the litters and not your being, while you give your ears to “THE HEARING OF THE WORD” only. For the WORD is Jesus Christ personified. And you need to hear the WORD until you are personified by the WORD that you’ve heard; and then, THE WORD received transforms your personality into the character [behaviour, mannerisms], that you are becoming in the grace. Such process becomes your reality of the scriptural context you are ascribing, for God to make happened for your good and goodness in Christ Jesus stead, Amen. 

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7. 

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not . . . 14 And THE WORD was made FLESH [HUMAN], and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:1-5, 14/Emphasis mine. 

Let’s therefore put on our hearing ears ONLY to God’s SAYINGS as a default and de facto, to enable us to keep at bay, by examining and filtering out other voices, especially of men sayings; this doing is irrespective of who speaks, so that we can be obedient, established to communicate the faith in the grace, without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation in Christ Jesus. Amen.

“My son, ATTEND to my WORDS; INCLINE thine EAR [HEARING] unto my SAYINGS. 21. Let them not depart from thine EYES; keep them in the midst of thine HEART [SPIRIT-BEING]. 22 For they are LIFE [LIFE-GIVING] unto those that find them, and HEALTH [MEDICINE] to all their FLESH [BODILY SENSES]. 23. Keep thy HEART with all DILIGENCE; out of it are the ISSUES of life” Proverbs 4:20-23/Emphasis Mine. 

“. . . 23 But he that RECEIVED seed into the GOOD ground is he that HEARETH THE WORD, and UNDERSTANDETH it; which also BEARETH fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty” Matthew 13:18-23.
