SCRIPTURAL MEDITATION: WORTH PONDERING!

You Are God’s Chosen One – You Can Thrive No Matter What You Are Going Through Or Might Have Gone Through.

Begin your work week by SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS. Am so certain it can make all the difference in the week.

IT’S TIME TO BRING FORTH FRUIT – BECAUSE YOU CAN AND SHOULD.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING:

“Ye have not CHOSEN me, but I have CHOSEN you, and ORDAINED you, that ye should go and BRING FORTH FRUIT, and that your FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” John 15:16.

“But ye are a CHOSEN GENERATION, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should SHEW FORTH the praises of him who hath CALLED you out of darkness into his marvellous light” 1 Peter 2:9.

“But my horn shalt thou EXALT like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be ANOINTED with fresh oil. 11 Mine Eye also shall SEE my desire on mine enemies, and mine EARS shall HEAR my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. 12 The RIGHTEOUS shall FLOURISH like the palm tree: he shall GROW like a CEDAR in Lebanon. 13 Those that be PLANTED in the house of the Lord shall FLOURISH in the COURTS of our God. 14 They shall still BRING FORTH FRUIT in old age; they shall be FAT and FLOURISHING; 15 to shew that the Lord is UPRIGHT: he is my ROCK, and there is NO UNRIGHTEOUSNESS in him” Psalms 92:10-15.

“BLESSED is the man that WALKETH not in the COUNSEL of the ungodly, nor STANDETH in the WAY of sinners, nor SITTETH in the SEAT of the scornful. 2 But his DELIGHT is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he MEDITATE day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree PLANTED by the rivers of water, that BRINGETH FORTH HIS FRUIT in his season; his LEAF also shall not WITHER; and whatsoever he DOETH shall PROSPER” Psalms 1:1-3.

SCRIPTURAL MEDITATION – YOU ARE THE APPLE OF GOD’S EYES!

“Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the APPLE of thine eye” Proverbs 7:2.

“Keep me as the APPLE of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings” Psalms 17:8.

“Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee. 8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. 9 FOR THE LORD’S PORTION IS HIS PEOPLE; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. 10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him AS THE APPLE OF HIS EYE. 11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 12 So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. 13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; 14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape” Deuteronomy 32:7-14.

CHOICE – Dealing With The TRINITY Within – I, ME, MYSELF: The Three ENEMIES On Your Altitude!

The THREE ENEMIES within that needs to be brought under if one must constantly be ahead in LIFE and GODLINESS are these:

** The lust of the flesh

** The lust of the eyes

** The pride of life!

These three ENEMIES comes from the trinity within you – I, ME and MYSELF otherwise the Me, Me and Me.

Life is about CHOICE – to being mindful and to not being mindful, of these three elements; which can make and unmake your worlds of success and fulfilment in LIFE and GODLINESS. Hence there’s the need to diligently check and guard your being by the Holy Spirit of these elements in the light of the WORD of God. You are the decided of your ARISING and ALTITUDE, therefore make the wise CHOICE today – to bring your body under, the five SENSES trinity of I, ME, MYSELF, in subjection to the Holy Spirit guide and guard, by the word of God.

MAKE A WISE CHOICE TODAY!

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

“Love not the world [the worlds mindset], neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the LUST of the FLESH, and the LUST of the EYES, and the PRIDE of LIFE, is not of the Father, but is of the world” 1 John 2:15-17.

“I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 but I keep UNDER MY BODY (I, Me, Myself), and BRING IT INTO SUBJECTION: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I MYSELF should be a castaway” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27.

GOOD SUCCESS And FULFILMENT: Possible Through DILIGENT MEDITATION In The WORD

It is one thing to have success or be successful by whatever factor of measure, but it’s another thing to be fulfilled in that SUCCESS. And Success without FULFILMENT is a nightmare. And in this context, the inner peace and tranquility that nothing else can satisfy but God.

There is Success and there is Good Success. It’s okay to have success or be successful; but to have God’s kind, which is of good Success, there is the path to follow. The good Success which God offers comes through DILIGENCE in the MEDITATION of the WORD that gives insights and foresights of God in SUCCESS context.

God’s act of good SUCCESS is to bring you to a place of joy, happiness and FULFILMENT within and without. What is SUCCESS without the inner being of joy, happiness and FULFILMENT in Christ Jesus. It is this difference that makes some claims to be successful are false, because their acclaimed SUCCESS ends up with no joy, happiness and FULFILMENT but an INNER state that is suicidal, insecurity and unimaginable vices as a means to satisfy that quest, void and vacuum that only God offers through the MEDITATION in His WORD.

You must also know that in life, SUCCESS is relative. And to have it good, it’s about the illumination and enlightening of God’s WORD that overshadow one’s being in that SUCCESS. For INNER peace and tranquility is of God in the human spirit. It is that INNER spirit empowering that gives the overwhelming OUTER joy, happiness and FULFILMENT; otherwise it ends up with a broken spirit despite the SUCCESS, which is destructive. Proverbs 18:14; Proverbs 17:22.

Know for certainly that when a Believer is in desperation to be successful outside the SCRIPTURAL terms of reference, it will not be of a clean act or and end. The Scriptures thus indicate that those who are in HASTE to get to SUCCESS outside God underscore the Scriptural context and will not be innocent but will have their hands stain with dirt as it’s written:

“A FAITHFUL man shall ABOUND with blessings: but he that maketh HASTE to be rich SHALL NOT BE INNOCENT. 21 To have respect of persons is not good: for for a PIECE of bread that man will TRANSGRESS. 22 He that HASTETH to be rich hath an EVIL eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him” Proverbs 28:20-22.

To experience the good SUCCESS that God offers without stress, sweat, complain, murmuring and such like, you need to plug into the fountain of life; and walk through His path that gives springs of liveliness and livelihood; and are found in DILIGENCE walk in SCRIPTURAL MEDITATION on God’s factor for good SUCCESS.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Be ye STRONG therefore, and let not your HANDS BE WEAK: for your WORK shall be REWARDED” 2 Chronicles 15:7.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt MEDITATE therein day and night, that thou mayest OBSERVE to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt MAKE thy way PROSPEROUS, and then thou shalt have GOOD SUCCESS” Joshua 1:8.

“Seest thou a man DILIGENT in his business? he shall STAND before kings; he shall not STAND before mean men” Proverbs 22:29.

“For with thee is the FOUNTAIN of life: in thy light shall we see light” Psalms 36:9.

“The spirit of a man will SUSTAIN his INFIRMITY; but a WOUNDED spirit who can BEAR?” Proverbs 18:14.

“A MERRY HEART doeth GOOD like a MEDICINE: but a BROKEn spirit DRIETH the BONES” Proverbs 17:22.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—MEDITATE on these things” Philippians 4:8 NKJV.

“I am convinced and CONFIDENT of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]” Philippians 1:6 Amplified.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest PROSPER and be in HEALTH, even as thy soul PROSPERETH” 3 John 2.

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath PLEASURE in the PROSPERITY of his servant” Psalms 35:27.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS ON – DILIGENCE: IT’S PLEASING, REWARDING & EMPOWERING!

DILIGENCE is not just hardworking but to be smart, steadily steady and consistently consistent in FAITH, with a set PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT in focus, THRIVING to obtain an effectual and productive result.

When you DILIGENTLY TILL YOUR LAND for example, there will be PLENTY of bread to sort you out in life and make you a vessel of blessings to others. To TILL is to CULTIVATE – which means, to PLOW, SOW or PLANT and RAISE or PRODUCE a crop for example. That’s to say, you don’t just PLOW, but you ensure the PLOW land by planting a SEED or CROP or investing say TIME, FINANCE and EFFORT (mental and or physical exertion), to NURTURE that endeavour untill there’s a product – effect or result.

When you are consistently consistent in a steady spirit and faith in that which you set your hearts to do, you will never be disappointed. That’s the spirit of DILIGENCE. It’s REWARDING and EMPOWERING.

It’s too early to PLAY the LAZY, SLOTHFUL and SLUGGARD card as a fool. It’s time to INITIATE, CREATE, INNOVATE and EXPLORE. DILIGENCE makes it all POSSIBLE.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Seest thou a man DILIGENT in his business? he shall STAND before KINGS (HONOUR, DIGNITY, INTEGRITY); he shall not STAND before MEAN (UNPRODUCTIVE, OBSCURED) men” Proverbs 22:29.

“He that TILLETH HIS LAND shall be satisfied with bread: but he that FOLLOWETH VAIN persons is void of understanding” Proverbs 12:11.

“He that TILLETH HIS LAND shall have PLENTY of bread: but he that FOLLOWETH AFTER VAIN persons shall have POVERTY ENOUGH. 20 A FAITHFUL man shall ABOUND with blessings: but he that MAKETH HASTE to be rich shall not be innocent” Proverbs 28:19-20.

“He BECOMETH POOR THAT DEALETH WITH A SLACK HAND: but the HAND OF THE DILIGENT MAKETH RICH. 5 He that GATHERETH IN SUMMER is a WISE son: but he that SLEEPETH IN HARVEST is a son that CAUSETH SHAME” Proverbs 10:4-5.

“But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must BELIEVE that he is, and that he is a REWARDER of them that DILIGENTLY seek him” Hebrews 11:6.

“While the EARTH remaineth, SEEDTIME and HARVEST, and COLD and HEAT, and SUMMER and WINTER, and DAY and NIGHT shall not cease” Genesis 8:22.

“The SLUGGARD will not PLOW by reason of the COLD; therefore shall he BEG in harvest, and have NOTHING” Proverbs 20:4.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING – WARNING SIGNS ON LUSTING AND AFFECTION CRAVINGS OF THE FLESH!

God Loves And Cares for your total well being.

“Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever” 1 John 2:15-17 (Amplified).

“1-2 Where do you think all these appalling wars and quarrels come from? Do you think they just happen? Think again. They come about because you want your own way, and fight for it deep inside yourselves. You LUST for what you don’t have and are willing to kill to get it. You want what isn’t yours and will risk violence to get your hands on it. 2-3 You wouldn’t think of just asking God for it, would you? And why not? Because you know you’d be asking for what you have no right to. You’re spoiled children, each wanting your own way. 4-6 You’re cheating on God. If all you want is your own way, flirting with the world every chance you get, you end up enemies of God and his way. And do you suppose God doesn’t CARE? The proverb has it that “he’s a fiercely jealous LOVER.” And what he gives in LOVE is far better than anything else you’ll find. It’s common knowledge that “God goes against the willful proud; God gives grace to the willing humble” James 4:1-6 (The Message Bible).

“What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Isn’t it because there is a whole army of evil desires within you? 2 You want what you don’t have, so you kill to get it. You long for what others have, and can’t afford it, so you start a fight to take it away from them. And yet the reason you don’t have what you want is that you don’t ask God for it. 3 And even when you do ask you don’t get it because your whole aim is wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure. 4 You are like an unfaithful wife who loves her husband’s enemies. Don’t you realize that making friends with God’s enemies—the evil pleasures of this world—makes you an enemy of God? I say it again, that if your aim is to enjoy the evil pleasure of the unsaved world, you cannot also be a friend of God. 5 Or what do you think the Scripture means when it says that the Holy Spirit, whom God has placed within us, watches over us with tender jealousy? 6 But he gives us more and more strength to stand against all such evil longings. As the Scripture says, God gives strength to the humble but sets himself against the proud and haughty. 7 So give yourselves humbly to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” James 4:1-7 (The Living Bible).

“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the AFFECTIONS and LUSTS. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” Galatians 5:24-25.

To Avoid ERRORS And Being MISTAKEN: KNOW The SCRIPTURES For YOURSELF!

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (MISTAKEN), NOT KNOWING the SCRIPTURES, nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29.

“Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a CONTROVERSY with the inhabitants of the land, because there is NO TRUTH, nor MERCY, nor KNOWLEDGE of God in the land . . . 6 My PEOPLE are DESTROYED for LACK of KNOWLEDGE: because thou hast REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” Hosea 4:1, 6.

“Therefore my PEOPLE are gone into CAPTIVITY, because they have NO KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst . . . “ Isaiah 5:11-16.

“STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth NOT to be ASHAMED, rightly dividing the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15.
