LOVE AT ITS BEST: IT DOES INSTRUCTS AND DISCIPLINES!

For some, LOVE is about been spoken to softly, taken to the mall for shopping, being showed with gifts now and then, taken for holidays, spoilt with every good things or goodies while their short falls in real life failings are never mentioned or told them, which will rather help them amend, brase up, mature and grow; but not until they found themselves in the break points of life deceptions, because such LOVE was never MEASURED with the true reality of life.

HEREIN ARE THREE OF LOTS IN LOVE TO GIVE THOUGHTS, In Order To Help A Friend, Spouse And Those You Love And Cares About:

*** LOVE with ‘OPEN REBUKES’ helps to SAVE! – Proverbs 27:5-6.

“OPEN REBUKE is better than SECRET love. 6 FAITHFUL are the WOUNDS of a friend; but the KISSES of an ENEMY are deceitful” Proverbs 27:5-6.

*** LOVE That ‘CHASTENS’ helps to AMEND! – Hebrews 12:5-11.

“And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the CHASTENING of the Lord, nor faint when thou art REBUKED of him: 6 for WHOM THE LORD LOVETH HE CHASTENETH, AND SCOURGETH EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVETH. 7 If ye endure CHASTENING, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father CHASTENETH not? 8 But if ye be without CHASTISEMENT, whereof all are PARTAKERS, then are ye BASTARDS, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which CORRECTED us, and we gave them REVERENCE: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days CHASTENED us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be PARTAKERS of his holiness. 11 Now no CHASTENING for the present seemeth to be joyous, but GRIEVOUS: nevertheless afterward it YIELDETH the PEACEABLE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS unto them which are EXERCISED thereby” Hebrews 12:5-11.

*** Love that ‘OVERLOOKS/MAKES UP’ and helps to DELIVER from further sins! – 1 Peter 4:8/Proverbs 10:12.

“And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover (overlook, makes up) the multitude of sins” 1 Peter 4:8 (Emphasis Mine).

“Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth (overlook) all sins” Proverbs 10:12 (Emphasis Mine).

God wants us to love while we enjoy His love shed and spread abroad in our inner hearts by the Holy Spirit of love. It’s by this love of God we are saved. And God has commended His Love towards us in Christ Jesus to enable us live in Christ Jesus stead by it.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE OF GOD IS SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us . . . 8 But God COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8.

God’s LOVED World

God’s LOVED World – The Antidote To The HATE World: Only POSSIBLE In God’s Love WORD!

In a world full of the undoing of others by some across the board: family, community, society and world; where hatred, evil and wickedness and perversions of all sorts exist; what human hearts need is a loving friend and friendship to avert such WICKEDNESS and EVIL.

IN GOD’S LOVED WORLD, WE RESPOND BY THE WORD. WE DON’T REACT BY OUR SENSES (FEEL, TASTE, SMELL, FEEL, SEE), OTHERWISE WE MAY END UP BEING HURT, HATE, BITTER, UNFORGIVING, DEPRESSED, PHOBIA AND SUCH LIKES.

God has promised to see you through in LOVE, in His LOVED WORLD from the present EVIL DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD as in the Holy Writ – The HOLY ‘BIBLE’ – Blessed Information Bringing Life Eternal. And God has ensured and commended us to the Holy Spirit of love, to make it possible in 24/7, to love too in the face of adverse uncertainty.

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave himself for our sins, THAT HE MIGHT DELIVER US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, according to the will of God and our Father: 5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” Galatians 1:3-5.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; BECAUSE THE LOVE OF GOD IS SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5-8.

Jesus had made the act to love a command and not an advice. God will only commend what He commands, therefore let God’s love rule your day as you take on with people. It is in this act of living and walking in God’s love shall you be known as a Follower of Christ, not by religious gimmicks and oblations.

LET GOD’S LOVE RULE & REIGN IN & THROUGH YOU TO – OUR HATE & EVIL WORLD OF DARKNESS.

OCCUPY TILL I COME: Earthly Useful And Heavenly Minded – LIVING & WALKING IN LOVE!

Talking about LOVE! Here is a didactic sense of measure, such that we don’t just say we have love, but we do LIVE and WALK in LOVE, knowing that love is of God; and it’s the lubricant for our life in Christ Jesus and for all mankind. Upon this we can Occupy In Christ by ‘Being Earthly Useful while Heavenly Minded’.

Love is an attitude, a deliberate choice, an exercise of the will, a choice of life and is not just a feeling, it is an expression of the nature of God. It is spiritual, divinely inspired and imbedded in the very hearts of all God’s human creation, and more importantly in the very nature of the redeemed child of God. Hence it’s not a doctrine, creed and dogmas. It outlived generation because it’s timeless and of God’s. God is love – 1 John 4:7–10.

Love is a FRUIT and not a GIFT. FRUITS are GROWN while GIFTS are IMPARTED. Genuine Bible love – Agape – is born and is a product of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:5; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:9).

Let’s consider love in diversity for a clearer understanding of the kind of love being implied in this context.

DEFINING THE THREE KINDS OF LOVE:

*1. PHILEO: Grk (of the soul) – Love relationship in family – between parent and child. The Family kind of love. It also embodied love relationship towards friends and colleagues. It means to be fond of; it is based on FEELINGS and not on PRINCIPLE. It’s never used of man’s love to or for God. This is human or natural kind of love. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Genesis 8:19; Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21). This kind of love is however essential and crucial for a family bonding and wellbeing.

*2. EROS: Grk (of the Physical body) – Sexual love; purely reserved for the married – within the bond of marriage. It’s based on PHYSICAL ATTRACTION. It’s neither for fornication nor adultery. Lust and immoral desires have gotten some into it, hence there’s a great act of PERVERSION in our societies today – and we are paying hugely for the consequences across the board. (Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 7:1-9; 1 Corinthians 6:15-20).

*3. AGAPE: Grk (of the spirit) – God kind of love; unconditional, limitless, divine, spiritual. It transcends race, gender, generation, culture, family, physical, personal (self) etc. 1 Corinthians 13. It’s built on PRINCIPLE. Agape love even helps to ensure, STRENGTHEN and MAINTAIN the Phileo and Eros kind of love in all life endeavours. Agape love is based on PRINCIPLE – be it towards things or people.

Notably, the PHILEO OR EROS kinds of Love need to be controlled by AGAPE kind of love or else it will hinder our fellowship with God and leads to SIN acts. (E.g. EROS – 1 Corinthians 13:5; PHILEO – 1 Samuel 2:22-36).

Let’s not just say we have love, lets LIVE and WALK IN LOVE, for love is of the Spirit – Romans 5:5.

“If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:25.

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 and WALK IN LOVE, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” Ephesians 5:1-2.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 may be able to COMPREHEND with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT; 19 and to KNOW THE LOVE OF christ, which PASSETH (TRANSCENDS, SURPASSED) KNOWLEDGE (SENSE), that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19.

February 2017: The Faith That Works!

There’s no geographical location and situations that can stop your position and altitude in life when your Faith Works By Love.

I do know Faith as the mystery, the vital & legal currency and medium of exchange to access the heavens and to give the heavenly the permission in ones earthly affairs.

Yet, you can only genuinely blossom and colour your worlds anywhere and anyday with God when your ‘Faith Works By Love’.

Be it in relationship, family, ministry, charitable causes, career, business, marital and governance, the Faith That Works By Love is inevitable and inescapable. For love is the ultimate, a most and more excellent way to express spiritual grace and endowment. Hence expressing ‘The Faith That Works By Love’, you can thrive and blossom in any weather of life: Winter, Autumn, Spring or Summer.

This I saw in God through Christ, that’s why I am assured and now recommend it to you and for you. I have come to know and understand today more than ever before of the graciousness and gracefulness and speed in motion when one exercise and express life through ‘The Faith That Works By Love’.

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love” (Galatians 5:6).

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22).

AFD DECEMBER 2016 THEME

Greetings:
Welcome to the consummation month of year 2016 – December. Shalom & God’s Kingdom greetings in the Saviourhood name of precious Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ; for in Him we live, we move and we have our being in Blessed Trinity GOD, Amen!

It’s the month December and the month of another Christmas of the same reason for the season which is come again. Therefore, I say hallelujah and glory to God in the Highest, and on earth peace, joy and goodwill toward men. It beholds God in His grace to call you His people in which I am empowered in this commission of the Gospel to write, while praying and trusting that you will find the good will of God to:

Celebrate Christ with His Redemption cause on earth and
Commemorate the love that the season brings in Christ Jesus

I pray that at the receipt of this publication all things will be under your feet and control as I gladly welcome all visitors and existing readers who are recipients to this AFD DECEMBER 2016 EDITION of the ACHIEVERS’ FAITH DIGEST which is themed: UNTO YOU IS BORN THIS DAY . . . EMMANUEL! “The Commemoration and Celebration of God’s Love In Christ Jesus & His Redemption Cause on Earth To Mankind”.

Luke 2:10-14 “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born THIS DAY in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men“.

I do know that a man’s ignorance is his own mountain and the knowledge of the truth will set him free. Hence I therefore commend you to take time to ponder and meditate on the theme through and through in prayers.

Acts 20:32 “And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is able to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED“.

2 Corinthians 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen”.

However, this month theme will be expanded in course of the SERVICES & TIMES in all meetings through the year in “Scripture Pasture” Study and “Pastoral Messages & Ministrations”.

I pray that God revitalize and rejuvenates you and all that is about you, so that you may become the very best of which God has created you to be in your daily journey of Destiny Molding, Life Transformation, Dignity Restoration and Kingdom Faith Establishment, Community Social Cohesion and Enrichment and Development, Success Empowerment & Fulfillment, Grace Impartation and more, while awaiting the Lord’s gracious and graceful return as promised.

DEFINING LOVE IN GOD’S TERMS: GOD IS LOVE!

Defining Love? Which Love? What kind of Love? The LOVE that’s WORTH pondering. Is it the Love made and built of SENSE knowledge or The Love born of REVELATION knowledge!

HEREIN IS MY TAKE ON DEFINING LOVE:

** SENSE KNOWLEDGE LOVE:
This LOVE response to our senses – which is made of these FIVE senses: FEEL (Touch), SMELL, TASTE, SEE and HEAR. This is the realm where the VALENTINE love operates especially. This is where the natural instincts of carnality and humanity operates. It’s of the world, hence defines in terms, and it’s limited in every sense to meet the human quest. I wonder why many if not multitudes should wait for FEBRUARY 14 to genuinely express love to someone they care about. Is like waiting until Christmas to express goodness to those you care about. There’s nothing wrong in the common sense LOVE in essence in humanity if guided and guarded by God’s kind of love; only that, this LOVE is body-ruled, full of bundles of selfishness, more importantly, man-made – hence limited in all ramifications.

** REVELATION KNOWLEDGE LOVE:
This LOVE is of God. It is spiritual, meaning, it’s inspiring, revealing and empowering. It sensitises the sense knowledge towards your spiritual causes and as such it expresses genuinely to all and more importantly to those you care about day to day. It does not wait for special occasions like VALENTINE or CHRISTMAS or BIRTHDAY and such like to express great heart-felt goodness. It’s boundless, intentional and reachable.

Therefore think before you go in debt for a one day or part-time kind of LOVE act that may end up in CARNALITY and at CROSS-FIRE afterwards.

Know full well today that – GOD IS LOVE. In other words, the DEFINITION of LOVE is – God. You can only DEFINE LOVE in God. And God’s Love which is in Christ Jesus, transcends, surpassed and supercedes human sense knowledge in every dimensions. Until one knows and understands it, the struggles for genuine love will keep showing up; and the unnecessary asking of all sorts of questioning about LOVE and matters of LOVE.

As Believer in Christ, are you in love built on SENSE knowledge or in REVELATION knowledge.

“And to KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, which PASSETH (Transcends, Supercedes) KNOWLEDGE (Human Senses), that ye might be FILLED with ALL the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:19 (Emphasis Mine).

“Beloved, let us love one another: FOR LOVE IS OF GOD; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for GOD IS LOVE. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, AND HIS LOVE IS PERFECTED IN US. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, BECAUSE HE HATH GIVEN US OF HIS SPIRIT. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE; BUT PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT FEAR: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us. 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also” 1 John 4:7-21.

LOVE of the FIVE SENSES

LOVE of the FIVE SENSES: It Can’t Fathom The God of LOVE!

The Five senses love speaks of the natural man who operates by material sensory of FEELING, TASTING, SMELLING, HEARING and SEEING, to make a concise conclusions in order to ensure it’s genuine.

This FIVE SENSES LOVE requires laboratory test of men for approval, and as such:

** It’s limited and

** It’s subject to change depending on the public poll of acceptance.

** It’s always awaiting all the time for the acknowledging and approval in – friendship, family, work and in places of governance, doing life and such like.

** It’s built of and on human selfishness even though its not acknowledge or spoken of as if it is or not.

And because the five senses love is natural, it can’t fathom the God of love nor God personified, hence – LAWS and RULES are made to regulate it with CHANGES in times to suit the human demand and supply.

“Now we have RECEIVED, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. . . 14 But the NATURAL MAN receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED” 1 Corinthians 2:12, 14.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
