FESTIVE MOOD: KNOWING THE WHAT VS KNOWING THE HOW – TO PRAY! 

“And it came to pass, that, as he was PRAYING in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, TEACH us [HOW] to pray, as John also TAUGHT his disciples” Luke 11:1/Emphasis Mine. 

It’s not enough to KNOW-WHAT the Scriptures Says, what’s MOST IMPORTANT is the KNOW-HOW to ENACT and APPROPRIATE the Scriptures into your day-to-day acts of DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

In same scenarios, you need to know also, it’s not enough to KNOW-WHAT to PRAY for, but it’s much better to KNOW-HOW to PRAY for that need; for it’s this reason the HOLY SPIRIT of the KNOW-HOW is there to HELP us in the OUGHT. Hence, in the Festive MOOD, you need to ensure you KNOW THE HOW as you KNOW THE WHAT to do in the SEASON with the REASON – Christ Jesus – Saviour and Lord. Amen. 

The disciples of Jesus Christ witness how He prays and gets results and things done whilst they yet pray and get to nowhere. And since it bothers them and of paramount importance, then they ask him to TEACH them on the HOW to pray which He eventually did. [Luke 11:1-11]. 

And the Holy Spirit is given to us today in the same scenario, to help us in our prayer life on HOW we OUGHT to pray especially during this season that we are witnessing by the grace of God. For while we indeed know WHAT to pray for in respects to the various needs before us, we do lack the full knowledge and understanding on the HOW we OUGHT to pray for such needs to get results as earnestly desired and expected. 

So, while we are in this pressure of Festive mood, it’s imperative we pray aright, so that we get the fulness of joy that transcends and surpasses what’s before us in life and godly living.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Likewise the Spirit also HELPETH our INFIRMITIES: for we KNOW NOT WHAT WE SHOULD PRAY FOR AS WE OUGHT: but the Spirit itself maketh INTERCESSION for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that SEARCHETH the hearts KNOWETH WHAT is the mind of the Spirit, because he MAKETH INTERCESSION for the saints ACCORDING to the WILL of God” Romans 8:26-27. 

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will GUIDE you into all TRUTH: for he shall not SPEAK of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will SHEW you things to come. 14 He shall GLORIFY me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you” John 16:12-14.

CHRISTMAS MOOD: KNOWING THE WHAT VS KNOWING THE HOW – TO PRAY!

GOD IS FAITHFUL: FAITHFULNESS IS REQUIRED FOR ONE TO ABOUND IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS!

“Let a man so ACCOUNT of us, as of the MINISTERS of Christ, and STEWARDS of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is REQUIRED in STEWARDS, that a MAN BE FOUND FAITHFUL” 1 Corinthians 4:1-2.

I believe in PRAYERS; and so in FASTING, as the Scriptures expects of the New Creation Believer’s in Christ Jesus Stead, Amen; and such as it’s written – WHEN you PRAY and WHEN you FAST – as in the SCRIPTURAL context of Matthew 6:5, 7, 16 (5-18). And in as much as in all our glorification and gratifications to ascertain spirituality in our PRAYERS and FASTINGS, and as some have attributes it as their main hallmarks to showcase for doing life and living godly, be it known that God expectations from His children in all, is the act of FAITHFULNESS.

God wants us in all our spiritual and humanly endeavour, to be FAITHFUL in His house – IN ALL WAY – and not in SOMETIMES only. It thus means that, in all our dedication and commitment tendency to the course and cause of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus, we are ordered to be FAITHFUL to ensure that we partake in God’s BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus stead. That’s what God truly DEMANDS from us, in all honesty – a genuine life of being FAITHFUL to Him, in Christ Jesus stead, by the Holy Spirit, as in His WORD.

And being FAITHFUL and in FAITHFULNESS is to be OBEDIENT to His WORD. Meaning the measure of knowing you are FAITHFUL and in FAITHFULNESS is by your OBEDIENCE to His WORD unreservedly and uncompromisingly. For He only COMMENDS what He COMMANDS when [and not if] OBEYED. For OBEYING God’s WORD is the only indicator of being HUMBLED before Him and not sacrifice.

“He hath SHEWED thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord REQUIRE of thee, but to DO JUSTLY, and to LOVE MERCY, and to WALK HUMBLY with thy God?” Micah 6:8.

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as GREAT DELIGHT in BURNT OFFERINGS and SACRIFICES, as in OBEYING THE VOICE of the Lord? Behold, to OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE, and to HEARKEN than the FAT OF RAMS. 23 For REBELLION is as the SIN OF WITCHCRAFT, and STUBBORNNESS is as INIQUITY and IDOLATRY. Because thou hast REJECTED THE WORD of the Lord, he hath also Rejected thee from being king” 1 Samuel 15:22-23.

And we as AMBASSADORS – REPRESENTATIVES, the CUSTODIAN and STEWARD of God’s Kingdom CAUSE on earth, the true hallmark of our stewardship in His cause through us is – FAITHFULNESS. Being FAITHFUL in all His ways. Meaning, it’s for us to live FAITHFUL in all phases that pertains to doing LIFE and GODLINESS in Christ Jesus stead. Which is attributed to being HUMBLE and OBEDIENCE to His WORD – instructions in context.

FAITHFULNESS – being FAITHFUL, in the utilisation of all gifts and talents along with the commensurate resources that is endowed upon you in relation to God and humanity is the sum requirements of God from you. So that you can boldly say, that in all CONSCIENCE of FAITH in FAITHFULNESS, you are free and void of OFFENCE TOWARD God and mankind. CAN YOU ACCLAIM TO SAY THAT TODAY?

“He that is FAITHFUL in that which is LEAST is FAITHFUL also in MUCH: and he that is UNJUST in the LEAST is UNJUST also in MUCH. 11 If therefore ye have not been FAITHFUL in the UNRIGHTEOUS mammon, who will COMMIT to your TRUST the TRUE RICHES? 12 And if ye have not been FAITHFUL in that which is ANOTHER man’s, who shall give you that which is YOUR OWN? 13 No servant can SERVE two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye CANNOT SERVE God and mammon” Luke 16:10-13.

It’s time to examine oneself and make a genuine change of heart, so that the GOODNESS and ABUNDANCE in God’s LOVINGKINDNESS and BLESSEDNESS, may come to you now and always in Him, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“EXAMINE YOURSELVES, whether ye be in the faith; PROVE your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, EXCEPT YE BE REPROBATES?” 2 Corinthians 13:5.

It’s my dearest prayers that we would be found FAITHFUL and in FAITHFULNESS in all our ways in God, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

DOING LIFE AND HOW YOU DO LIFE MATTERS

DOING LIFE AND HOW YOU DO LIFE MATTERS: ALWAYS READ BEFORE YOU RUN – ALWAYS READ BEFORE YOU SIGN INTO ANY MATTER!

“. . . 2 And the Lord ANSWERED me, and said, WRITE the VISION, and make it PLAIN [SIMPLE, SIMPLIFIED] upon TABLES [VISIBLE, TANGIBLE], that he may RUN that READETH it . . .” Habakkuk 2:1-4/Emphasis Mine.

To authenticate the enabling grace, wisdom and speed in ALL about doing LIFE and living in GODLINESS, you must as a matter of WISDOM and PRINCIPLE, to always READ before you RUN – meaning, before you CONSENT and SIGNATURE to do any matter. And it does also mean that you don’t start the RUN or RUNNING before you READ, because by then, you might have wasted the resources [TIME, EFFORT, MATERIAL, FINANCE AND PEOPLE (PERSONNEL)] toward your ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, and more so, to your expectations in purpose, greatness and fulfilment in DOING LIFE and GODLY LIVING.

For the prevalence of WISDOM and the PRINCIPLE in DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY – you must always have a PREPARED and PLANNED WORK ETHICS, which is, to have your VISION and PURPOSE WRITTEN (PENNED) DOWN – legibly and tangibly; this is in terms of WHAT IT IS, the TIME scale to use to accomplished the purpose driven vision; how much EFFORT [TALENT/SKILL] to exert to accomplished the purpose driven vision; the needed MATERIAL [EQUIPMENT/TOOLS] to accomplished the purpose driven vision; the FINANCIAL cost to accomplished the purpose driven vision; and how many PEOPLE in terms of PERSONNEL to accomplished the purpose driven vision, so that one does not run in vain as per may be required.

“He that GETTETH WISDOM loveth his own soul: he that KEEPETH UNDERSTANDING shall find GOOD” Proverbs 19:8.

“WISDOM is the PRINCIPAL thing; therefore GET WISDOM: and with all thy getting GET UNDERSTANDING” Proverbs 4:7.

And after you might have WRITTEN the purpose driven vision down – that’s to make it PLAIN in [clarity, legibility and tangibility], there’s then the need to READ it over and over again until it turns from COMMON SENSE to REVEALED SENSE. And after you’ve READ to UNDERSTANDING of the KNOWN the purpose driven VISION, then you can RUN.

“GOOD UNDERSTANDING GIVETH FAVOUR: but the WAY OF TRANSGRESSORS is HARD [DIFFICULT, UNPRODUCTIVE]” Proverbs 23:15/Emphasis Mine.

“The man that WANDERETH OUT OF THE WAY of UNDERSTANDING shall REMAIN in the CONGREGATION of the DEAD [UNFRUITFUL, UNPRODUCTIVE, INACTIVE]” Proverbs 21:16/Emphasis Mine.

DON’T START ANY PURPOSE DRIVEN VISION RUN BEFORE YOU READ. An Illumination and enlightenment to the cause by the scriptures is inevitable; and that can only be found in a willing obedience to succeed in grace accordingly as in the Holy writs – Psalms 119:105, Isaiah 1:19. The unveiling of understanding for direction is given to the simple-hearted on scriptural instruction’s.

“Thy WORD is a LAMP unto my feet, and a LIGHT unto my path . . . 130 The ENTRANCE of thy WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the SIMPLE” Psalms 119:105, 130.

“If ye be WILLING and OBEDIENT, ye shall EAT the GOOD of the LAND” Isaiah 1:19.

To READ before you RUN and SIGN into any life PROJECT is very important in order to THRIVE and not SURVIVE; and especially while you RUN or RUNNING living ventures as pertained to – Individual Career, Family Life, Business Adventure’s, Going for your Grocery or other form of shopping, or Starting and sustaining that Ministerial calling, or in any of your short or long terms day to day living project, and others of such like. You need to READ before you RUN otherwise, you will sweat, stress and be burning out on TIME, EFFORT and FINANCE in unwarranted matters.

The prevalence of WISDOM and the principle of productivity involves TILLING the land before you plant not planting before you till the land otherwise there’s the danger of HASTE and WASTE – leading to self-destructiveness. Excellence and success is in the principle and obedience to READ to know and understand, before you embarking on any given project if you your intent is to succeed and be fulfilled in life and godliness by the WORD, with God in Christ Jesus stead. Proverbs 12:11; Proverbs 28:19-22; Joshua 1:8.

You need to know that there’s no DNA for REGRET in REDEMPTION that Christ have given and bestowed to us. Therefore, WRITE the VISION-PURPOSE down, READ IT to the understanding, before you RUN with it or SIGN into it. Wisdom indicate that you READ BEFORE YOU RUN IN GOD’S PLAYBOOK.

I pray you God’s grace, wisdom and speed, in LIFE and GODLINESS, and in everyway in Christ. Amen.

“I will stand my WATCH, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will SAY unto me, and what I shall ANSWER when I am reproved. 2 And the Lord ANSWERED me, and said, WRITE the VISION, and make it PLAIN upon tables, that he may RUN that READETH it. 3 For the VISION is yet for an APPOINTED TIME, but at the END it shall SPEAK, and not lie: though it TARRY, wait for it; because it will SURELY COME, it will not tarry. 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: BUT THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH” Habakkuk 2:1-4.

“Seest thou a man DILIGENT in his business? he shall STAND before KINGS (HONOUR, NOBLE, DIGNITY); he shall not STAND before MEAN (OBSCURED, UNPRODUCTIVE) men” Proverbs 22:29.

“And we desire that every one of you do shew the same DILIGENCE to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 that ye be NOT SLOTHFUL, but FOLLOWERS of them who through FAITH and PATIENCE inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:11-12.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him” Hebrews 11:6.

“He that TILLETH HIS LAND SHALL BE SATISFIED WITH BREAD: but he that FOLLOWETH VAIN persons is VOID OF UNDERSTANDING” Proverbs 12:11.

“He who TILLS HIS LAND will have PLENTY OF BREAD, But he who FOLLOWS FRIVOLITY will have POVERTY ENOUGH! 20 A FAITHFUL man will ABOUND with BLESSINGS, But he who HASTENS to be rich will not go unpunished. 21 To show partiality is not good, Because for A PIECE OF BREAD A MAN WILL TRANSGRESS. 22 A man with an evil eye HASTENS after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him” Proverbs 28:19-22 NKJV.

“He hath SHEWED thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord REQUIRE of thee, but to DO JUSTLY, and to LOVE MERCY, and to WALK HUMBLY with thy God?” Micah 6:8.

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as GREAT DELIGHT in BURNT OFFERINGS and SACRIFICES, as in OBEYING THE VOICE of the Lord? Behold, to OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE, and to HEARKEN than the FAT OF RAMS. 23 For REBELLION is as the SIN OF WITCHCRAFT, and STUBBORNNESS is as INIQUITY and IDOLATRY. And we as AMBASSADORS – REPRESENTATIVES, the CUSTODIAN and STEWARD of God’s Kingdom CAUSE on earth, the true hallmark of our stewardship in His cause through us is – FAITHFULNESS. Being FAITHFUL in all His ways. Meaning, it’s for us to live FAITHFUL in all phases that pertains to doing LIFE and GODLINESS in Christ Jesus stead. Which is attributed to being HUMBLE and OBEDIENCE to His WORD – instructions in context.

FAITHFULNESS – being FAITHFUL, in the utilisation of all gifts and talents along with the commensurate resources that is endowed upon you in relation to God and humanity is the sum requirements of God from you. So that you can boldly say, that in all CONSCIENCE of FAITH in FAITHFULNESS, you are free and void of OFFENCE TOWARD God and mankind. CAN YOU ACCLAIM TO SAY THAT TODAY?

“He that is FAITHFUL in that which is LEAST is FAITHFUL also in MUCH: and he that is UNJUST in the LEAST is UNJUST also in MUCH. 11 If therefore ye have not been FAITHFUL in the UNRIGHTEOUS mammon, who will COMMIT to your TRUST the TRUE RICHES? 12 And if ye have not been FAITHFUL in that which is ANOTHER man’s, who shall give you that which is YOUR OWN? 13 No servant can SERVE two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye CANNOT SERVE God and mammon” Luke 16:10-13.

It’s time to examine oneself and make a genuine change of heart, so that the GOODNESS and ABUNDANCE in God’s LOVINGKINDNESS and BLESSEDNESS, may come to you now and always in Him, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

DOING LIFE MATTERS: ALWAYS READ BEFORE YOU RUN – ALWAYS READ BEFORE YOU SIGN INTO ANY MATTER!

“. . . 2 And the Lord ANSWERED me, and said, WRITE the VISION, and make it PLAIN upon tables, that he may RUN that READETH it . . .” Habakkuk 2:1-4.

To authenticate your grace, wisdom and speed in ALL about living LIFE and GODLINESS, you must as a matter of WISDOM and PRINCIPLE, to always READ before you RUN – meaning, before you CONSENT and SIGNATURE to do ANY matter. And it does also mean that you don’t start the RUN or RUNNING before you READ, because by then, you might have wasted the resources  (TIME, EFFORT, MATERIAL AND FINANCE) toward your ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, more so, to your greatness and fulfilment in DOING LIFE and GODLY LIVING.

For the prevalence of WISDOM and the PRINCIPLE in DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY – you must always have a PLANNED WORK ETHICS, which is, to have your VISION and PURPOSE WRITTEN (PENNED) DOWN; this is in terms of WHAT IT IS, the TIME scale, how much EFFORT (PERSONNEL) to exert, needed MATERIAL that’s involve to accomplish it and FINANCIAL cost to accomplish such. Then READ it over and over again until it turns from COMMON SENSE to REVEALED SENSE. Then you can RUN. Don’t start a RUN before you READ. Illumination and enlightenment of the scriptures is only found in a willing obedience to succeed in grace accordingly – Psalms 119:105/Isaiah 1:19. Unveiling of understanding for direction is given to the simple-hearted on scriptural instructions.

“Thy WORD is a LAMP unto my feet, and a LIGHT unto my path . . . 130 The ENTRANCE of thy WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the SIMPLE” Psalms 119:105, 130.

“If ye be WILLING and OBEDIENT, ye shall EAT the GOOD of the LAND” Isaiah 1:19.

To READ before you RUN and SIGN into any life PROJECT is very important in order to THRIVE and not SURVIVE; and especially while you RUN or RUNNING living ventures as pertained to – Individual Career, Family Life, Business Adventure’s, Going for your Grocery or other form of shopping, or Starting and sustaining that Ministerial calling, or in any of your short or long terms day to day living project, and others of such like. You need to READ before you RUN otherwise, you will sweat, stress and be burning out on TIME, EFFORT and FINANCE in unwarranted matters.

The prevalence of WISDOM and the principle of productivity involves TILLING the land before you plant not planting before you till the land otherwise there’s the danger of HASTE and WASTE – leading to self destructiveness. Excellence and success is in the principle and obedience to READ to know and understand, before you embarking on any given project if you your intent is to succeed and be fulfilled in life and godliness by the WORD, with God in Christ Jesus stead. Proverbs 12:11; Proverbs 28:19-22; Joshua 1:8.

You need to know that there’s no DNA for REGRET in REDEMPTION that Christ have given and bestowed to us. Therefore, WRITE the VISION-PURPOSE down, READ IT to the understanding, before you RUN with it or SIGN into it. Wisdom indicate that you READ BEFORE YOU RUN IN GOD’S PLAYBOOK.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: FAITHFULNESS IS REQUIRED FOR ONE TO ABOUND IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS!

I believe in PRAYERS; and so in FASTING, as the Scriptures expects of the New Creation Believer’s in Christ Jesus as – WHEN you PRAY and WHEN you FAST – as in the SCRIPTURAL context of Matthew 6:5, 7, 16 (5-18). Yet in all glorification of PRAYERS and FASTINGS as many have attributes as hallmarks for life, God expectations from His children is the acts of FAITHFULNESS – being FAITHFUL in His house – IN ALL WAY.

Meaning, in all our dedication and commitment to the course and cause of doing life and living godly, in order to partake in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead, what God truly demands from us in honesty, is a genuine life of being FAITHFUL.

CHRISTMAS MOOD: KNOWING WHAT VS KNOWING HOW!

It’s not enough to KNOW WHAT the Scriptures Says, what’s MOST IMPORTANT is the KNOW HOW to ENACT and APPROPRIATE the Scriptures into your day to day acts of DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus stead .

In same scenarios, you need to know that, it’s not enough to KNOW WHAT to PRAY for, but it’s much more better to KNOW HOW to PRAY for that need, which the HOLY SPIRIT, is there to HELP us in the OUGHT. Hence, in the MOOD of Christmas, you need to ensure you KNOW THE HOW as you KNOW THE WHAT to do.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

“Likewise the Spirit also HELPETH our INFIRMITIES: for we KNOW NOT WHAT WE SHOULD PRAY FOR AS WE OUGHT: but the Spirit itself maketh INTERCESSION for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that SEARCHETH the hearts KNOWETH WHAT is the mind of the Spirit, because he MAKETH INTERCESSION for the saints ACCORDING to the WILL of God” Romans 8:26-27.
