TO AUGUST YOUR LIFE ON EAGLES’ FLIGHT: THERE SHOULD BE NO STRANGE GODS!

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I BARE you on EAGLES’ WINGS, and BROUGHT you unto myself” Exodus 19:4.

“As an EAGLE stirreth up her nest, FLUTTERETH over her young, SPREADETH abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her WINGS: 12 so the Lord alone did LEAD him, and there was NO STRANGE GOD with him” Deuteronomy 32:11-12.

I hope people come to know that CHARISMA can take one in an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, but what sustains and maintains one THERE is CHARACTER. Hence both are needful to ensure a fulfilled LIFE and GODLY LIVING in Christ Jesus stead. And it’s not an EITHER this OR that, but both are complimentary to a healthy life in the Spirit of grace to thrive and be fulfilled in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

CHARISMA and CHARACTER are of the Holy Spirit – The Spirit of the EAGLE FLIGHT – called THE WIND – (John 3:3-8/Genesis 1:1-3). It’s the knowing and understanding of the move and movement of THE WIND that enables the EAGLES to SOAR and GLIDE with strength and vigour, instead of FLAPPING as other birds does in weakness and tiredness over time. And it is in the same knowing and understanding, that as THE WIND – the Holy Spirit, when He moved, Father God took advantage of that movement and CREATED the HEAVEN and the EARTH and all that dwells therein.

CHARISMA is the SPIRITUAL/MINISTERIAL GIFTS – (1 Corinthians 12:7-12, 27-31/Ephesians 4:7-16); and while CHARACTER is the SPIRITUAL FRUIT not FRUITS – (Galatians 5:22-23), meaning one fruit with many character components embedded – enclosed and within.

Unfortunately, some people in some cases, as the Corinthians Church, are heavily gifted of CHARISMA, yet with STRANGE GODS in their midst, as such, the expected CHARACTER has been choked up, adulterated, perverted and counterfeited; and it means nothing to them anymore in everyway – (1 Corinthians 1:4-7/ 1 Corinthians 12:1-3).

The Corinthians Church was graciously gifted CHARISMATICALLY, such that they came not behind in SPIRITUAL CHARISMATIC GIFT, and are enriched with knowledge and utterance among others in comparison. Yet, IDOLS, the spirit of idolatry, a carryover from their past was still PRACTICE within them, which ends up distorting the genuineness of the gracious DIVERSITIES, OPERATIONS and ADMINISTRATIONS of the Holy Spirit manifestation that’s within them – 1 Corinthians 12:5-7.

When God led the children of Israel on EAGLES’ FLIGHT, there was NO STRANGE god(s) among them – Deuteronomy 18:9-14. As a result, Egypt was glad when they left because they dread them, and other enemies kept at bay from them. The WIND of the EAGLES’ FLIGHT was, and is the Holy Spirit.

Today, the Scriptures says as many who are LED, not just HAVE the Holy Spirit are the sons of God – Romans 8:14-17. When you say the Holy Spirit LEADS you, be sure you have NO STRANGE god(s) within.

Charisma is not enough, character is much more needful. Work on them. Don’t be a problem Christian/Gospel Minister to the – Local Church Assembly or Body of Christ, and don’t let the enemy and cohorts use you to hinder the effectual work of God as the Corinthians Church was a very problematic people hence a second book needed to be written to correct the abnormalities within them by Apostle Paul.

STRANGE GODS ARE NOT NEEDED ON THE EAGLES FLIGHT THAT GOD LEADS – ALWAYS DO A CHECK UP WITHIN YOU OTHERWISE YOU CAN’T BE ABLE TO GLIDE AND SOAR.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“As an EAGLE stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her WINGS: 12 so the Lord alone did LEAD him, and there was NO STRANGE GOD with him” Deuteronomy 32:11-12.

“He BROUGHT them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one FEEBLE person among their tribes. 38 Egypt was GLAD when they departed: for the FEAR of them fell upon them” Psalms 105:37-38.

“In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the earth. 2 And the EARTH was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. JESUS CHRIST – THE ULTIMATE AND HALLMARK OF FREEDOM: FREEDOM WITHOUT HYPOCRISY, DOGMAS, PREJUDICE, SENTIMENTS, BIGOT AND SUCH LIKE – GET CONNECTED TO HIM!

“It was for this FREEDOM that Christ SET US FREE [completely liberating us]; therefore keep STANDING FIRM and do not be SUBJECT AGAIN to a YOKE of SLAVERY [which you once removed]” Galatians 5:1 (Amplified).

You don’t have to go and look too far away from you to note through the mirror of life that the entire world are interconnected, and are built up and built on and built by many communities of like minded – and each are of various unions, associations and passion in many respect; and their coming together are for a common cause and purpose, and they are in the course to create, promote, explore, initiate and enhance a kind of FEEEDOM to meet a particular interest.

The irony of life is that each of all these various acts of coming together either at International, national, community, work place, streets and the family enforced levels, have NOT given any, the genuine total FREEDOM as so much desired, anticipated and expected to experience in their fulness. And, knowingly and unknowingly, and in most of the various cases, what they do considered at a time as a FREEDOM, has become the foundation for another unidentified and unaccounted bondages; and unfortunately, the entanglement in its causes and course are at a cost, and enormous in various ways. And the changes with time to suit or solve one problem has created another in it in many other ways – hence some have folded up, others surviving instead of thriving, and many others are just in existence to count time by and by for next move.

It’s therefore imperative to know that the allegiance to all forms of man-made STATUE and ARCHITECTURE IMAGE that has been believed, revered, adored and adopted in some places as such, all in the name of serving the symbol of landmarks, are in fact classed in SCRIPTURAL terms as an IDOL. Especially when you examine the reason for such high places STATUE, SYMBOLIC IMAGES in our high streets and City Centres and other designated high places. Most times they depicts in essence of ENSLAVING, BONDAGES, INSULT, SEGREGATION, MARGINALISATION and such like – because what they once signify in a particular generation and dispensation it’s no longer welcome and honourable to another generation. That’s why the only true FREEDOM, is that which is of God in Christ Jesus, LIVING IN OUR HEARTS beyond dispensation, generation and walls of any sorts. For God’s FREEDOM for us all  in Christ Jesus is irrespective, and it’s without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation. It beyond walls of any respect.

“. . . 21 Little children [believers, dear ones], GUARD YOURSELVES FROM IDOLS—[false teachings, moral compromises, and anything that would TAKE God’s PLACE IN YOUR HEART]” 1 John 5:18-21/Amplified.

It’s for the above narrative and such like, that made Apostle Paul share scriptural TRUTH in Acts 17:15-34, in his response to the ATHENIANS superstitious and devotion to graven image altars, which was ascribed by them as to be to their UNKNOWN God. A community sold out to STATUE – Modernised IDOLS today. Thanks to God in His awesomeness, He used Apostle Paul eventually to bring the ATHENIANS to see the essence of knowing the true God from their superstitious bondage. Apostle Paul made them to know and understand that it’s in God that they are MADE to LIVE, to MOVE and to HAVE THEIR TRUE BEING; and he therein told them about the true FREEDOM that they EARNESTLY craved and desired to have and not from the STATUE DEPICTED on their City Centre and Community places that serves as Landmark of greatness for admiration and devotion even for many today.

“. . . 16 Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was greatly angered when he saw that the CITY was full of IDOLS. 17 So he had discussions in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Gentiles, and in the market place day after day with any who happened to be there . . . 22 So Paul, standing in the centre of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I observe [with every turn I make throughout the city] that you are very religious and devout in all respects. 23 Now as I was going along and carefully looking at your objects of worship, I came to an ALTAR with this inscription: ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ Therefore what you already worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. 24 The God who CREATED the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, because it is He who gives to all [people] life and breath and all things. 26 And He MADE from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories. 27 This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28 For in Him we LIVE and MOVE and EXIST [that is, in Him we actually HAVE OUR BEING], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ . . .” Acts 17:15-34/Amplified.

Be it known today as a way of reminder, that our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus, has made possible the true FREEDOM to all and He has offered it to all without – PREJUDICE, SENTIMENTS, DOGMAS, HYPOCRISY and such like. I therefore as God’s servant hereby beckon, beg and urge YOU in same Apostolic similitude, to resolve to CONNECT to Christ Jesus today in order to enjoy the FREEDOM that is genuine without controversy and diabolical sentiments (1 Timothy 3:16) instead of the dumb IDOLS DEPICTS in STATUE and SYMBOLS for a meaningless causes other than to offend another. Hence I say you:

JESUS CHRIST IS – THE ULTIMATE AND HALLMARK OF FREEDOM – THE FREEDOM WITHOUT HYPOCRISY, DOGMAS, PREJUDICE, SENTIMENTS, BIGOT AND SUCH LIKE – GET CONNECTED TO HIM AND LIVE FREE IN HIS GRACE TO STAND TALL IN HIS POWER AND MIGHT IN GOD. AMEN.

“And [if you] are CONFIDENT that you are a [qualified] GUIDE to the blind [those untaught in theology], a LIGHT to those who are in darkness, 20 and [that you are] a CORRECTOR of the foolish, a TEACHER of the [spiritually] childish, having in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and of the truth— 21 well then, you who TEACH others, do you not teach yourself? You who PREACH against stealing, do you steal [in ways that are discrete, but just as sinful]? 22 You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who detest IDOLS, do you rob [pagan] temples [of valuable idols and offerings]?” Romans 2:19-22 Amplified.

“The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. 18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 19 What say I then? THAT THE IDOL IS ANY THING, OR THAT WHICH IS OFFERED IN SACRIFICE TO IDOLS IS ANY THING? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they SACRIFICE TO DEVILS, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have FELLOWSHIP WITH DEVILS. 21 Ye cannot DRINK the cup of the Lord, and the cup of DEVILS: ye cannot be PARTAKERS of the Lord’s table, and of the TABLE OF DEVILS. 22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?” 1 Corinthians 10:16-22.

MATTERS OF IDOLS

MATTERS OF IDOLS: KEEP AWAY – GIVE IT A NO ATTENTION!

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, WE HAVE PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also WE HAVE ACCESS BY FAITH into THIS GRACE wherein WE STAND, and REJOICE in hope of THE GLORY of God” Romans 5:1-2.

IDOLS are ANYTHING but NOTHING – For in Christ Jesus WE ARE JUSTIFIED and WE HAVE ACCESS by FAITH with God. Amen.

Idols are no god, keep them and their followers away from your proximity. I am saying that the IDOLS to whom the unbeliever’s [heathen] bring sacrifices are not really alive and are not real gods as been purported by their worshippers, and that the sacrifices been offered to the gods are of some value to the worshipers as they are under the spell and clover’s of sorcery and divining spirits of darkness being advanced by the satan and cohorts demons [devils]. NO, NOT AT ALL ARE IDOLS GOD BY ANY MEANS.

What I have just said in a nutshell is that those who offer food to these idols are united in sacrificing to DEMONS, certainly not to God. And I don’t want any of you Believers of God in Christ Jesus to be PARTNERS and PARTAKERS with DEMONS when you eat the same food, along with the heathen, that has been offered to these IDOLS. You cannot drink from the cup at the Lord’s Table and at Satan’s table, too and expects God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS to be operatives in your life, instead it’s familiar spirits and such like in evil and wickedness to keep the worshippers in bondage. You CANNOT eat bread both at the LORD’S TABLE and at SATAN’S TABLE in this context of grace.

Therefore, RUN, FLEE from every appearance and suggestion of idol and such like. It’s ungodly and it’s not heavenly. You are redeemed to worship God by your spirit in the grace by the word and empowered by the Holy Spirit and not by demons.

Be blessed in the grace as you take a stand in your justification of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“All these things happened to them as examples—as object lessons to us—to warn us against doing the same things; they were written down so that we could read about them and learn from them in these LAST DAYS as the world nears its end . . .19 What am I trying to say? Am I saying that the IDOLS to whom the HEATHEN bring sacrifices are really alive and are real gods, and that these sacrifices are of some value? NO, NOT AT ALL. 20 What I am saying is that those who offer food to these idols are united together in sacrificing to DEMONS, certainly not to God. And I don’t want any of you to be PARTNERS with DEMONS when you eat the same food, along with the heathen, that has been offered to these IDOLS. 21 You cannot drink from the cup at the Lord’s Table and at Satan’s table, too. You CANNOT eat bread both at the LORD’S TABLE and at SATAN’S TABLE” 1 Corinthians 10:11, 19-21/Living Bible.

“Next is your question about EATING FOOD that has been SACRIFICED TO IDOLS. On this question everyone feels that only his answer is the right one! But although being a “KNOW-IT-ALL” makes us feel important, WHAT IS REALLY NEEDED TO BUILD THE CHURCH IS LOVE. 2 If anyone thinks he knows all the answers, he is just SHOWING his ignorance. 3 But the person who truly loves God is the one who is OPEN TO GOD’S KNOWLEDGE. 4 So now, what about it? Should we EAT meat that has been SACRIFICED TO IDOLS? Well, we all know that AN IDOL IS NOT REALLY A GOD, and that there is ONLY ONE GOD, AND NO OTHER. 5 According to some people, there are a great many gods, both in heaven and on earth. 6 But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created all things and made us to be his own; and one Lord Jesus Christ, who made everything and gives us life. 7 However, some Christians don’t realize this. All their lives they have been used to thinking of IDOLS as alive, and have believed that FOOD OFFERED TO THE IDOLS is really being OFFERED TO ACTUAL GODS. So when they eat such food it bothers them and hurts their tender consciences. 8 Just remember that God doesn’t care whether we eat it or not. We are no worse off if we don’t eat it, and no better off if we do. 9 But be careful not to use your FREEDOM to eat it, lest you cause some Christian brother to sin whose CONSCIENCE is weaker than yours. 10 You see, this is what may happen: Someone who thinks it is wrong to eat this food will see you eating at a temple restaurant, for you know there is no harm in it. Then he will become bold enough to do it too, although all the time he still feels it is wrong. 11 So because you “know it is all right to do it,” you will be responsible for causing great spiritual damage to a brother with a tender conscience for whom Christ died. 12 And it is a sin AGAINST Christ to sin AGAINST your brother by encouraging him to do something he thinks is wrong. 13 So if eating meat OFFERED TO IDOLS is going to make my brother sin, I’ll not eat any of it as long as I live because I don’t want to do this to him” 1st Corinthians 8:1-13/Living Bible.

KEEP AWAY FROM IDOLS

KEEP AWAY FROM IDOLS: WHAT’S AN IDOL/IDOLATRY – IT’S ANYTHING!

“Therefore, my beloved, RUN [keep far, far away] from [any sort of] IDOLATRY [and that includes LOVING ANYTHING MORE than God, or PARTICIPATING in ANYTHING that leads to sin and enslaves the soul]. 15 I am speaking as to wise and sensible people; judge [carefully and thoughtfully consider] for yourselves what I say” 1 Corinthians 10:14-15/AMP.

“Little children (believers, dear ones), guard yourselves from IDOLS—[false teachings, moral compromises, and ANYTHING that would take God’s place in your heart] “ 1 John 5:21/AMP.

Idol and Idolatry are nouns. Meaning they are personified – which indicates they have characteristics and behavioural acts and effects. And are not just demonic but spirits at work passively in some people and places, thereby creating the essence of addictions, suffering, poverty, setbacks and such like, that leads to further bondages. Their likeness and difference can be connotes as this:

  • An IDOL is a graven image or representation of ANYTHING that is REVERED, or BELIEVED to convey spiritual power, essence and being.
  • An IDOLATRY is the worship of IDOLS. It connotes the WORSHIP and SERVING (rendering services) of SOMETHING or SOMEONE other than God as if it were God.

And for your spiritual well-being and wholeness in God by Christ Jesus, keep yourself from idol and Idolatry – that’s anything that’s revered and believed knowingly and unknowingly in hearts and thoughts and deeds beside God in Christ Jesus stead.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“IT WAS FOR THIS FREEDOM THAT CHRIST SET US FREE [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed]” Galatians 5:1/AMP.

“Little children (believers, dear ones), guard yourselves from IDOLS—[false teachings, moral compromises, and ANYTHING that would take God’s place in your heart]” 1 John 5:21/AMP.

“Consider the people of Israel; are those who eat the sacrifices not partners of the altar [united in their worship of the same God]? [Indeed they are.] 19 What do I mean then? That a thing offered to idols is anything [special or changed simply because it is offered], or that AN IDOL IS ANYTHING? 20 On the contrary, the things which the Gentiles (pagans) sacrifice, they sacrifice to DEMONS [in effect], and not to God; and I do not want you to become partners with demons [by eating at feasts in pagan temples]. 21 You CANNOT drink [both] the Lord’s cup and the cup of DEMONS. You cannot share in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons [thereby becoming partners with them]. 22 Do we [really] provoke the Lord to jealousy [when we eat food sacrificed to handmade “gods” at pagan feasts]? Are we [spiritually] stronger than He? [Certainly not! He knows that the idols are nothing. But we deeply offend Him.]” 1 Corinthians 10:18-22/AMP.

KEEP AWAY FROM IDOLS OR BEING MADE AN IDOL: AN IDOL IS – ANYTHING – REVERED AND BELIEVED OTHER THAN ALMIGHTY GOD!

Many times in life I have heard some people say that the VOICE of MEN is the VOICE OF GOD as reference in the Acts of the Apostle with consequences Acts 12:20-23; and heaven help those who help themselves and each other, irrespective of how the help is carried out. And to them, since God may be so slow in their terms, they have to help themselves, and God can then follow suit in their terms if He really loves and cares about them. Then I pause most times and say – Really? as I asked why such a myth exists among people – if it’s ignorance, foolishness and stupidity. It reminds me of the Biblical King Saul, hearkening to the people’s VOICE than that of God as written in  1 Samuel 15:1-35 and 1 Samuel 10:18-20. We all know how it ended for him.

I want you to know for sure and true, that God is a God of PRINCIPLE and not of SENTIMENTS nor of a METHOD. He only operates within His WORD and not by human sentiments, emotions and methodology. So, in any emotions and methodology, which are common to mere men for sentimental reasons and values, God is not there, for He will only take action where His WORD is the STAND, in Christ Jesus stead. For a NO WORD, means a NO FAITH, meaning God is not PLEASE to get involved with such decisions at all. Hence making the VOICE of men your tool, makes you live outside God’s principle of BLESSEDNESS and abounding LOVE for His PURPOSE. GOD ONLY CONFIRMS HIS WORD AND NOTHING ELSE. You need to always THINK about that before you make any decision in LIFE and GRACE.

And to have a VOICE, some will – religiously and or politically and for any leadership positions, kill or do any form of evil,  wickedness and such likes to promote and certify the CAUSES and SENTIMENTS of their adored IDOL or ICON to indicate their allegiance; also, go any length to gratify that position of dignity and honour irrespective of what the person is doing or have done. And this you find happening both WITHIN the CHURCH as in the WORLD to meet the course of that leadership and governance – unfortunately some will welcome such ADORATION in the name of a godly and good causes in terms.

These acts of giving addicted REVERENCE and BELIEF to your acclaimed IDOLS or ICONS has a deadly effect especially in LIFE and GRACE – GODLY LIVING, for a Christian and the Church of God. And same like, as to the one who is RECEIVING and ALLOWING such OVATION of men to overtake the place of God. And I wish people know about the EFFECT, that it could be deadly.

And the fact that the sovereign and almighty God is slow to act accordingly in some occasions to authenticate his jealousy against these stupidity and acts of His glory being shared or equated and taken, does not mean He’s not aware or jealous as a jealous God visiting the iniquity of such behaviour. He’s still the jealous God of yesterday, today and tomorrow, and will act appropriately in his own time.

For so was Herod (King) Agrippa the first, who made himself God and took glory of God to satisfy the VOICE of the people. He paid deadly for it and none could stop God.

Are you in a position where people tend to REVERE and BELIEVE in you to ascertain doing deadly things that may warrant God’s anger? If I were you I will adhere not but learn a lesson from these three wise counts below in order not to be sentimental as in these scriptural instructions:

  • Between Apostle John and the Angel – Revelation 19:10; Revelation 22:6-9.
  • Between Apostle Paul, Barnabas and Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia – Acts 14:8-15.
  • Between Apostle Peter and Cornelius – Acts 10:25-27.

And if these legend of Biblical spiritual being and Apostles REFUSED to be WORSHIP – REVERED and BELIEVED – as IDOLS or ICONS to please men APPLAUD but they lean solely on God’s APPROVAL as in Jesus Christ stead – Act 2:22; why are you so OBSESSED of your life’s position to always get offended if not accorded or given the ovation, applaud or oblation you so much crave. Getting offended and outraged because you are not properly addressed by your title and class indicates how insecure you are in what you crave for otherwise you will  be contented in the enabling grace provided of God in Christ Jesus stead. Romans 5:1-2.

I urge you to keep away from IDOLS and let none make you one! Idols are spirits, spirits acts as gods. And gods are demonic. The end is deadly now or later. REPENT!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Now Herod [Agrippa I] was EXTREMELY ANGRY with the people of Tyre and Sidon; and their delegates came to him in a united group, and after persuading Blastus, the king’s chamberlain [to support their cause], they asked for peace, because their country was fed by [imports of grain and other goods from] the king’s country. 21 On an appointed day Herod DRESSED HIMSELF IN HIS ROYAL ROBES, sat on his throne (tribunal, rostrum) and began delivering a speech to the people. 22 The assembled people kept shouting, “IT IS THE VOICE OF A GOD AND NOT OF A MAN!” 23 And at once an ANGEL of the Lord STRUCK him down because he did not GIVE God the glory [and instead PERMITTED himself to be worshiped], and he was eaten by worms and died [five days later]” Acts 12:20-23 (Amplified).

TO AUGUST YOUR LIFE ON EAGLES’ FLIGHT: THERE SHOULD BE NO STRANGE GODS!

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I BARE you on EAGLES’ WINGS, and BROUGHT you unto myself” Exodus 19:4.

“As an EAGLE stirreth up her nest, FLUTTERETH over her young, SPREADETH abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her WINGS: 12 so the Lord alone did LEAD him, and there was NO STRANGE GOD with him” Deuteronomy 32:11-12.

I hope people come to know that CHARISMA can take one in an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, but what sustains and maintains one THERE is CHARACTER. Hence both are needful to ensure a fulfilled LIFE and GODLY LIVING in Christ Jesus stead. And it’s not an EITHER this OR that, but both are complimentary to a healthy life in the Spirit of grace to thrive and be fulfilled in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen..

CHARISMA and CHARACTER are of the Holy Spirit – The Spirit of the EAGLE FLIGHT – called THE WIND – (John 3:3-8/Genesis 1:1-3). It’s the knowing and understanding of the move and movement of THE WIND that enables the EAGLES to SOAR and GLIDE with strength and vigour, instead of FLAPPING as other birds does in weakness and tiredness over time. And it is in the same knowing and understanding, that as THE WIND – the Holy Spirit, when He moves, Father God took advantage of that movement and CREATED the HEAVEN and the EARTH and all that dwells therein.

CHARISMA is the SPIRITUAL/MINISTERIAL GIFTS – (1 Corinthians 12:7-12, 27-31/Ephesians 4:7-16); and while CHARACTER is the SPIRITUAL FRUIT not FRUITS – (Galatians 5:22-23), meaning one fruit with many character components embedded – enclosed and within.

Unfortunately, some people in some cases, as the Corinthians Church, are heavily gifted of CHARISMA, yet with STRANGE GODS in their midst, as such, the expected CHARACTER has been choked up, adulterated, perverted and counterfeited; and it means nothing to them anymore in everyway – (1 Corinthians 1:4-7/ 1 Corinthians 12:1-3).

The Corinthians Church was graciously gifted CHARISMATICALLY, such that they came not behind in SPIRITUAL CHARISMATIC GIFT and are enriched with knowledge and utterance among others in comparison. Yet, IDOLS, the spirit of idolatry, a carryover from their past was still PRACTICE within them, which ends up distorting the genuineness of the gracious DIVERSITIES, OPERATIONS and ADMINISTRATIONS of the Holy Spirit manifestation that’s within them – 1 Corinthians 12:5-7.

When God leads the children of Israel on EAGLES’ FLIGHT, there was NO STRANGE god(s) among them – Deuteronomy 18:9-14. As a result, Egypt was glad when they left because they dread them and other enemies kept at bay from them. The WIND of the EAGLES’ FLIGHT was and is the Holy Spirit.

Today, the Scriptures says as many who are LED not just HAVE the Holy Spirit are the sons of God – Romans 8:14-17. When you say the Holy Spirit LEADS you, be sure you have NO STRANGE god(s) within.

Charisma is not enough, character is much more needful. Work on them. Don’t be a problem Christian/Gospel Minister to the – Local Church Assembly or Body of Christ, and don’t let the enemy and cohorts use you to hinder the effectual work of God as the Corinthians Church was a very problematic people hence a second book needed to be written to correct the abnormalities within them by Apostle Paul.

STRANGE GODS ARE NOT NEEDED ON THE EAGLES FLIGHT THAT GOD LEADS – ALWAYS DO A CHECK UP WITHIN YOU OTHERWISE YOU CAN’T BE ABLE TO GLIDE AND SOAR.

JESUS CHRIST – THE ULTIMATE AND HALLMARK OF FREEDOM

JESUS CHRIST – THE ULTIMATE AND HALLMARK OF FREEDOM: FREEDOM WITHOUT HYPOCRISY, DOGMAS, PREJUDICE, SENTIMENTS, BIGOT AND SUCH LIKE – GET CONNECTED TO HIM!

“It was for this FREEDOM that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore keep STANDING FIRM and do not be SUBJECT AGAIN to a YOKE of SLAVERY [which you once removed]” Galatians 5:1 (Amplified).

You don’t have to go or look too far away from you to note through the mirror of life that the entire world are interconnected, and are built up and built on, of many communities of like minded – and each are of various unions, associations; and their coming together are for a common cause and purpose, and they are in the course to create, promote and enhance a kind of FEEEDOM to meet a particular interest.

The irony of life is that each of all these various acts of coming together either at International, national, community, work place, streets and the family enforced levels, have NOT given any, the genuine FREEDOM as so much desired and expected to experience in their fulness. And, knowingly and unknowingly, and in most of the various cases, what they do considered at a time as a FREEDOM, has become the foundation for another unidentified and unaccounted bondage; and unfortunately, the entanglement in it, it’s enormous in various ways. And the changes with time to suit or solve one problem has created another in it in many other ways.

It’s therefore imperative to know that the allegiance to all forms of man-made STATUE and ARCHITECTURE IMAGE that has been believed, revered, adored and adopted in some places as such, all in the name of serving the symbol of landmarks, are in fact classed in SCRIPTURAL terms, as an IDOL. Especially when you examine the reason for such high places STATUE, SYMBOLIC IMAGES in our high streets and City Centres and other designated high places. Most times they depicts in essence of ENSLAVING, BONDAGES, INSULT, SEGREGATION and such like – because what they once signify in a particular dispensation it’s no longer welcome and honourable to another generation. That’s why the only true FREEDOM, is that which is of God in Christ Jesus, LIVING IN OUR HEARTS beyond dispensation, generation and walls of any sorts.

“. . . 21 Little children (believers, dear ones), GUARD YOURSELVES FROM IDOLS—[false teachings, moral compromises, and anything that would take God’s PLACE IN YOUR HEART]” 1 John 5:18-21 Amplified.

It’s for the above narrative and such like, that made Apostle Paul share scriptural TRUTH in Acts 17:15-34, in his response to the ATHENIANS superstitious and devotion to graven image altars, which was ascribed by them as to be to their UNKNOWN God. A community sold out to STATUE – Modernised IDOLS today. Thanks to God in His awesomeness, He used Apostle Paul eventually to bring the ATHENIANS to see the essence of knowing the true God from their superstitious bondage. Apostle Paul made them to know and understand that it’s in God that they are MADE to LIVE, to MOVE and to HAVE THEIR TRUE BEING; and he therein told them about the true FREEDOM that they EARNESTLY craved and desired to have and not from the STATUE DEPICTED on their City Centre and Community places that serves as Landmark of greatness for admiration and devotion even for many today.

“. . . 16 Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was greatly angered when he saw that the CITY was full of IDOLS. 17 So he had discussions in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Gentiles, and in the market place day after day with any who happened to be there . . . 22 So Paul, standing in the center of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I observe [with every turn I make throughout the city] that you are very religious and devout in all respects. 23 Now as I was going along and carefully looking at your objects of worship, I came to an ALTAR with this inscription: ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ Therefore what you already worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. 24 The God who CREATED the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, because it is He who gives to all [people] life and breath and all things. 26 And He MADE from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories. 27 This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28 For in Him we LIVE and MOVE and EXIST [that is, in Him we actually HAVE OUR BEING], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ . . .” Acts 17:15-34/Amplified.

Be it known today as a way of reminder, that our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus, has made possible the true FREEDOM to all and He has offered it to all without – PREJUDICE, SENTIMENTS, DOGMAS, HYPOCRISY and such like. I therefore as God’s servant hereby beckon, beg and urge YOU in same Apostolic similitude, to resolve to CONNECT to Christ Jesus today in order to enjoy the FREEDOM that is genuine without controversy and diabolical sentiments (1 Timithy 3:16) instead of the dumb IDOLS DEPICTS in STATUE and SYMBOLS for a meaningless causes other than to offend another. Hence I say you:

JESUS CHRIST IS – THE ULTIMATE AND HALLMARK OF FREEDOM – THE FREEDOM WITHOUT HYPOCRISY, DOGMAS, PREJUDICE, SENTIMENTS, BIGOT AND SUCH LIKE – GET CONNECTED TO HIM AND LIVE FREE IN HIS GRACE TO STAND TALL IN HIS POWER AND MIGHT IN GOD. AMEN.

You who PREACH against stealing, do you steal [in ways that are discrete, but just as sinful]? 22 You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who detest IDOLS, do you rob [pagan] temples [of valuable idols and offerings]?” Romans 2:19-22 Amplified.

“The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. 18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 19 What say I then? THAT THE IDOL IS ANY THING, OR THAT WHICH IS OFFERED IN SACRIFICE TO IDOLS IS ANY THING? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they SACRIFICE TO DEVILS, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have FELLOWSHIP WITH DEVILS. 21 Ye cannot DRINK the cup of the Lord, and the cup of DEVILS: ye cannot be PARTAKERS of the Lord’s table, and of the TABLE OF DEVILS. 22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?” 1 Corinthians 10:16-22.

SCRIPTURAL MEDITATION: MATTERS OF IDOLS!

IDOLS are ANYTHING but NOTHING – For in Christ Jesus WE ARE JUSTIFIED and WE HAVE ACCESS by FAITH with God. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, WE HAVE PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also WE HAVE ACCESS BY FAITH into THIS GRACE wherein WE STAND, and REJOICE in hope of THE GLORY of God” Romans 5:1-2.

“All these things happened to them as examples—as object lessons to us—to warn us against doing the same things; they were written down so that we could read about them and learn from them in these LAST DAYS as the world nears its end . . .19 What am I trying to say? Am I saying that the IDOLS to whom the HEATHEN bring sacrifices are really alive and are real gods, and that these sacrifices are of some value? NO, NOT AT ALL. 20 What I am saying is that those who offer food to these idols are united together in sacrificing to DEMONS, certainly not to God. And I don’t want any of you to be PARTNERS with DEMONS when you eat the same food, along with the heathen, that has been offered to these IDOLS. 21 You cannot drink from the cup at the Lord’s Table and at Satan’s table, too. You CANNOT eat bread both at the LORD’S TABLE and at SATAN’S TABLE” 1 Corinthians 10:11, 19-21 (Living Bible).

“Next is your question about EATING FOOD that has been SACRIFICED TO IDOLS. On this question everyone feels that only his answer is the right one! But although being a “KNOW-IT-ALL” makes us feel important, WHAT IS REALLY NEEDED TO BUILD THE CHURCH IS LOVE. 2 If anyone thinks he knows all the answers, he is just SHOWING his ignorance. 3 But the person who truly loves God is the one who is OPEN TO GOD’S KNOWLEDGE. 4 So now, what about it? Should we EAT meat that has been SACRIFICED TO IDOLS? Well, we all know that AN IDOL IS NOT REALLY A GOD, and that there is ONLY ONE GOD, AND NO OTHER. 5 According to some people, there are a great many gods, both in heaven and on earth. 6 But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created all things and made us to be his own; and one Lord Jesus Christ, who made everything and gives us life. 7 However, some Christians don’t realize this. All their lives they have been used to thinking of IDOLS as alive, and have believed that FOOD OFFERED TO THE IDOLS is really being OFFERED TO ACTUAL GODS. So when they eat such food it bothers them and hurts their tender consciences. 8 Just remember that God doesn’t care whether we eat it or not. We are no worse off if we don’t eat it, and no better off if we do. 9 But be careful not to use your FREEDOM to eat it, lest you cause some Christian brother to sin whose CONSCIENCE is weaker than yours. 10 You see, this is what may happen: Someone who thinks it is wrong to eat this food will see you eating at a temple restaurant, for you know there is no harm in it. Then he will become bold enough to do it too, although all the time he still feels it is wrong. 11 So because you “know it is all right to do it,” you will be responsible for causing great spiritual damage to a brother with a tender conscience for whom Christ died. 12 And it is a sin AGAINST Christ to sin AGAINST your brother by encouraging him to do something he thinks is wrong. 13 So if eating meat OFFERED TO IDOLS is going to make my brother sin, I’ll not eat any of it as long as I live because I don’t want to do this to him” I Corinthians 8:1-13 (Living Bible).

“We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not HABITUALLY sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. 19 We know [for a fact] that WE ARE of God, and the whole world [around us] lies in the power of the evil one [opposing God and His precepts]. 20 And we [have seen and] know [by personal experience] that the Son of God has [actually] come [to this world], and has given us understanding and insight so that we may [progressively and personally] know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children (believers, dear ones), GUARD yourselves from IDOLS—[false teachings, moral compromises, and ANYTHING that would take God’s place in your heart]” 1 John 5:18-21 (Living Bible).

YOUR EARNEST EXPECTATIONS IN REDEMPTION: FREEDOM FROM IDOLS – AND THEIR EFFECTS!

“Behold Israel after the FLESH: are not they which eat of the SACRIFICES partakers of the altar? 19 What say I then? THAT THE IDOL IS ANY THING, or THAT WHICH IS OFFERED IN SACRIFICE TO IDOLS IS ANY THING? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they SACRIFICE TO DEVILS, and not to God: and I WOULD NOT that ye should have FELLOWSHIP WITH DEVILS” 1 Corinthians 10:18-20.

There’s no place and room for IDOL and IDOLATORY in the services of God in the Kingdom, if you are intending to live on and enjoy the BLESSEDNESS of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Having an IDOL in ones life, robs one of the pure and genuine acts to WORSHIP God WORTHILY and to SERVE Him ACCEPTABLY in LIFE and GODLINESS in Christ Jesus stead. For an idol is ANYTHING – person’s and or materials – that takes the place of God in Christ Jesus, in our cause and service, on the face of God.

And we as the redeemed of God, born of the precious blood of Christ Jesus, and made to be a chosen generation, a peculiar people, a royal priesthood and a holy nation, and to offer unto God the marvelous, gracious and graceful acts of worship and service unreservedly with our being – it’s imperative that we do not let any man make an idol and god, out of us nor make ourselves an idol and god, out of any man for whatsoever, in LIFE and GODLINESS. For our God is Holy, just, true, sure and jealous, over us in all things.

“But ye are a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” 1 Peter 2:9.

Therefore look within you – in hearts and thoughts, for God searches the hearts, mind and thoughts of every man, to know, ensuring that you are genuinely FREE indeed by His WORD from idol and idolatry and dedication to any god’s, goddess and shrines of any man made objects and to any person – living or dead and to any object.

“And thou, Solomon my son, KNOW thou the God of thy father, and SERVE him with a PERFECT heart and with a willing mind: FOR THE LORD SEARCHETH ALL HEARTS, AND UNDERSTANDETH ALL THE IMAGINATIONS OF THE THOUGHTS: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever”  1 Chronicles 28:9.

You can be FREE today and now. Be FREE from IDOL and IDOLATORY – in order to enjoy God’s FAITHFULNESS and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
