WELCOME TO MONTH FEBRUARY 2024: THE MONTH OF – “TRIUMPHING BY LOVE” – IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong. 14 LET EVERYTHING YOU DO BE DONE IN LOVE [motivated and inspired by God’s LOVE for us]” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14/Amplified

It’s time to TRIUMPH by the LOVE that GIVES and SERVES, rather than by the LOVE that DEMANDS and RECEIVES and equally lives on ENTITLEMENT as a rights on others. You need to know that it’s written in the Holy writ, that it’s more BLESSED for you and I to GIVE than to RECEIVE. Knowing full well that our Father God so LOVES us, that He GAVE, as a living demonstration that indicates the awesomeness, graciousnesss and gracefulness of genuine love. For a genuine LOVE is a GIVING love and a SERVING love unlike the selfish and self-centred love that’s of a demanding, receiving and entitling love – the love that limits one’s potential to do life and live godly in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. [Acts 20:35; John 3:16; Galatians 5:13].

My task this month is to challenge us in our intent by asking this question:

** How will you demonstrate and manifest the God kind of LOVE this Month FEBRUARY 2024 and onwards?

** Are you going to manifest, demonstrate and ensured the LOVE that’s makes you a GIVER and SERVER of love in menus of doing life and living godly or the one whose love in menus, is that which is a DEMANDER and RECEIVER and ENTITLEMENT in perspective?

The choices of the onward and upward trajectory to thrive in TRIUMPH and in daily TRIUMPHANT living, is yours to make and determine if you will operate by the love of God that goes beyond PREJUDICE, SENTIMENTS and DISSIMULATION as you do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead.

I strongly beckoned on you to awake to KNOW THE LOVE of God that’s beyond human sensual reasoning – meaning, that SURPASSES and TRANSCENDS the flesh and senses of what you – see, smell, taste, feel or touch, and hear as you do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead [Ephesians 3:17-19]. It’s a high and higher time to WALK IN THE LOVE that GIVES and SERVES rather than the love that belittles you knowingly and unknowingly by the act of demanding and receiving kinds of love mentality.

We mustn’t forget that Jesus Christ, our saviour and Lord in humanity, left us lots of living examples to follow in His stead, to enable us live TRIUMPHANTLY as He did. Firstly, He loves to the end His worker’s – the Disciples (witness /witnesses) that turned Apostles (messenger/representatives) in the cause of time [John 13:1-2; 30-31]; He instructed us to love our enemies and pray for them in love irrespective – [Matthew 5:38-48]; He instructed us to live and walk in Love, for thereby others may see us as His followers and living epistles of the word and then seek after our God in Him – [John 13:1-2, 34-35; John 15:8-14]. What a profound legacy for us in humanity. That makes us inexcusable in every measures.

It’s a high time that you begin a new journey  of an onward and upward trajectory, to enable you to experience and walk in the  LOVE of God, which is the hallmark and the more excellent way to do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead triumphantly – and that’s by the – GIVING LOVE and SERVING LOVE – in Christ Jesus. Amen [Ephesians 5:1-2; 1 Corinthians 12:31].

Genuine love is about GIVING and SERVING others irrespective. And it’s time to think and act differently in matters of God’s kind of love, which always it’s about the terms of – SERVICE or SERVING and GIVING. Thus indicates that whenever the word – LOVE – runs through your inner subconscious being, think and act – GIVING and SERVING and not DEMANDING and TAKING (RECEIVING) and ENTITLEMENT.

The genuine TRIUMPHANT LOVE of God – DOESN’T DEMAND for LOVE; it instead, GIVES LOVE, SERVES LOVE – and by LOVE and in LOVE, it LOVES others irrespective. TRIUMPHANT LOVE, is a LOVE GIVING and LOVE SERVING love by the act of LOVE in everything about all it’s operations in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. [1 Corinthians 16:13-14; John 3:16; Ephesians 5:1-2]. And TRIUMPHING BY LOVE, is the MOST and MORE EXCELLENT WAY to live and do life with God together and with others in humanity, and under God’s kingdom causes, to keep the enemy and cohorts at bay. [1 Corinthians 12:31 – 1 Corinthians 13:1-13].

I pray that you come to know of a fact that it’s also possible you can GIVING, SERVING and RENDERING services to others – [meaning it’s possible to give, serve and render services] WITHOUT LOVE, but you CAN’T be a carrier, representative and vessel of God’s genuine kingdom minded person that’s TRIUMPHING BY LOVE without being captivated with the GIVING, SERVING and RENDERING of the services of in grace – [meaning you can’t love without being a giver and server and renderer of services]. For the Love of God is more than just to give (giving) and to take (taking) as some may think in their concept of give and take world; but it’s purely in the GIVING as in [John 3:16; Acts 20:35]; and also in the SERVING as in  [Galatians 5:13], as it’s written, it’s more BLESSED to GIVE in love than to RECEIVE; and to SERVE one another by love, in the grace, irrespective. [Acts 20:35; Galatians 5:6, 13].

Know also that, the scenario and idea of rendering CHARITY on CHARITABLE CAUSES can’t be attributed genuinely as God’s love or people’s loving others, simply because SERVICES attributed to love are rendered. People will do anything to fill up the statuesque of love, for their own selfish reasons – and sometimes it could be to probably avoid paying their shared taxes to the state in the name of doing charitable cause, thereby evade their responsibility and accountability, or for some is to gain applaud and hypes opportunities for popularity from the vulnerable for political or position purposes, or for some to win and blindfolds someone else’s hearts for selfish gratifications in exchange, or for some to give them the enabling to control, manipulate, oppress and gain upper hands popularity over others, or for some and many such like – it’s the reason which is best known to the cause of such act to express their hypothetical, prejudice and sentimental and hypocritical act of giving and serving to indicates a dislike to others in their faces.

However, when services [serving and giving] it’s genuine, and TRIUMPHING BY LOVE engineered, you see flawless and the gracious characteristics and concept wherein prejudice, sentiment and dissimulation are kept at bay intentionally and pragmatically for the good of all [2 Corinthians 2:14; Colossians 2:8-15].

Make it your signature today that the hallmark and the more excellent way of ensuring in you TRIUMPHING BY LOVE is known through – GIVING and SERVING – the rendering SERVICE to others, in the love of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. And to know  that – God is love. And He wants us to live out His nature in full as Jesus Christ did in humanity. And that it’s possible when we allow the Holy Spirit of promised that He had given us to make it possible and to help us take charge and control of realisation and to bring triumphing by love to fruition in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. [Romans 5:5; John 14:16-17; 1 John 4:4, 6, 8, 16, 18].

It’s my earnest PRAYERS that you will manifest and genuinely live TRIUMPHANTLY, thereby TRIUMPHING BY LOVE in everything, and everywhere, and everyway, by God’s enabling grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION], having TRIUMPHED over them through the cross” Colossians 2:15.

“But THANKS be to God, who always LEADS us in TRIUMPH in Christ, and through us SPREADS and makes evident everywhere the SWEET FRAGRANCE of the KNOWLEDGE of Him” 2 Corinthians 2:14/Amplified.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT; 19 and TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, WHICH PASSETH KNOWLEDGE, that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19.

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; BUT FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE . . . 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, BUT BY LOVE SERVE ONE ANOTHER” Galatians 5:6, 13.

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE” Acts 20:35.

“And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles EXERCISE LORDSHIP OVER THEM; and they that EXERCISE AUTHORITY upon them are called BENEFACTORS. 26 But ye shall NOT BE SO: but he that is GREATEST among you, let him be as the YOUNGER; and he that is CHIEF, as he that doth SERVE. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that SERVETH? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that SERVETH” Luke 22:25-27 [Matthew 20:25-28; Mark 10:35-45].

THIS CHRISTMAS – THE SET DATE IS TODAY: BE CONSUMED WITH GOD’S LOVE AND NOT WITH CONSUMABLES!

I pray you will be most consumed today of God’s love to you, expressed in Christ Jesus and not with consumables.

This Day . . . This Christmas – A Child Is Born, A Son Is Given!

AS WE MAKE MERRY TO CELEBRATE, LETS ALSO COMMEMORATE THE CHRIST OF CHRISTMAS CAUSE ON EARTH – FOR US, IN US, WITH US AND THROUGH US.

MERRY CHRISTMAS – ENJOY THE CELEBRATION AND COMMEMORATION IN GOD’S GRACE AND BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD. AMEN.

GIVING GOD A MERRY CHRISTMAS THANKS: LET US COMMEMORATE AND CELEBRATE HIM – JESUS THE CHRIST – THE UNSPEAKABLE GIFT OF GOD!

“THANKS be unto God for his UNSPEAKABLE (INDESCRIBABLE) GIFT” 2 Corinthians 9:15 (Emphasis Mine).

Am emboldened to say that there’s NO CONTROVERSY to the birth of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. And, there’s no GIFT on the face of the earth that can match, quantify and qualify to the unspeakable, indescribable and unmatchable gift of God to all mankind in the person of – JESUS THE CHRIST.

Therefore, let us commemorate and celebrate Him with our hearts of THANKS-GIVING to our God for His undeniable and irrevocable gift to all mankind, that this day has been slotted and set aside to mark His birth in LOVE and His REDEMPTION cause on earth to all of mankind.

“For there is one God, and one MEDIATOR between God and men, the MAN CHRIST JESUS” 1 Timothy 2:5.

“Neither is there SALVATION in any other: for there is NONE other name UNDER heaven GIVEN among men, whereby we must be SAVED” Acts 4:12.

I pray you will make time today, this day, this Christmas day, to commemorate and celebrate in THANKSGIVING for your BLESSEDNESS in THANKS LIVING – the REASON for the SEASON in the person of – JESUS THE CHRIST. Amen.

THIS DECEMBER – IS ALL ABOUT THE CHRIST OF CHRISTMAS

THIS DECEMBER – IS ALL ABOUT THE CHRIST OF CHRISTMAS: LETS COMMEMORATE AND CELEBRATE HIM IN EVERYWAY!

“Now THE BIRTH of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost . . .  21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins . . . 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, God WITH us. “ Matthew 1:18-25.

CHRIST JESUS – He’s the reason for the season. He’s the reason for the celebration. Outside Him there’s no authentic and genuine reason that can be efficacious. And He’s THE WORD, the GOD MANIFEST in humanity. The WORD that’s able to do wholesome division and separation, of the human spirit, soul and body respectively; and all creatures are laid bare before Him in doing life and living godly. He’s THE WORD that the Holy Angel’s harkened unto in life and grace. He’s the sent one of the trinity God, who came for humanity good and goodness and there’s NO CONTROVERSY of any sorts about Him..

For me, when you take Christ from ‘CHRISTMAS’ you have ‘MAS’ which means ‘MAN AT SELF’ while with Christ it means ‘MAN AT SUFFICIENCY’.

CHRISTMAS means – A yearly commemoration and Celebration of God’s love to mankind in the birth of our Lord & Saviour Christ Jesus and His cause on earth.

CHRIST means – The anointed one, Messiah, Saviour, The Redeemer and more; while MASS means – to Celebrate, to observe and commemorate.

Therefore, in this Month DECEMBER, let’s commemorate and celebrate Him for He is indeed born in our hearts and in our being. His birth is the rebirth of:

*Peace and goodwill toward men

*Hope, Faith & Love for men

*Fellowship and Relationship

*Salvation for all mankind and more.

However, as wonderful as Christmas commemoration and celebration is, be it known that Christ is enthroned. He’s no longer:

* The babe in the manger

* The servant to death

* The limited one and

* The Christ on the Cross.

He’s now the:

* God on the throne

* Omnipotent- (unlimited, all powerful)

* Omnipresent – (ever present, everywhere the same time) and

* Omniscience (all knowing, all understanding and all wise).

May Christ be all above to you, this Day, this Christmas and this month December. I pray you have a blessed celebration and commemoration.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And without CONTROVERSY great is the MYSTERY of godliness: God was MANIFEST in the flesh, JUSTIFIED in the Spirit, SEEN of angels, PREACHED unto the Gentiles, BELIEVED on in the world, RECEIVED up into glory” 1 Timothy 3:16.

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were MADE by him; and without him was not any thing MADE that was MADE. 4 In him was LIFE; and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men. 5 And the LIGHT shineth in darkness; and the darkness COMPREHENDED it not . . .14 And THE WORD was MADE FLESH (HUMAN), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:1-5, 14 Emphasis Mine.

“For THE WORD of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, PENETRATING as far as the DIVISION of the soul and spirit [the COMPLETENESS of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and JUDGING the very THOUGHTS and INTENTIONS of the heart. 13 And not a creature exists that is CONCEALED from His sight, but all things are OPEN and EXPOSED, and REVEALED to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account” Hebrews 4:12-13 Amplified.

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD cometh, and hath NOTHING in me” John 14:30.

“Howbeit we speak WISDOM among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the PRINCES OF THIS WORLD, that come to nought: 7 but we speak THE WISDOM of God in a MYSTERY, even the HIDDEN WISDOM, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 which NONE OF THE PRINCES OF THIS WORLD knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” 1 Corinthians 2:6-8.

THIS DECEMBER . . . THIS CHRISTMAS . . . THE HOLY SPIRIT OF LOVE IS AT WORK

THIS DECEMBER . . . THIS CHRISTMAS . . . THE HOLY SPIRIT OF LOVE IS AT WORK: EMPOWER YOUR CHRISTMAS LOVE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT AS GOD DID IN CHRIST JESUS!

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us . . . 8 But God COMMENDETH HIS LOVE toward us, in that, while we were YET SINNERS, Christ DIED for us” Romans 5:5, 8.

The celebration and commemoration of God’s LOVE in Christ Jesus birth and His redemption cause on earth for all humanity, is what Christmas, and this Christmas in this December, is all about. And the Holy Spirit led and empowered LOVE of God in Christ Jesus, doesn’t DEMAND for LOVE, it rather GIVES and LAVISHES the LOVE of God in Christ Jesus to all and sundry – unreservedly, uncompromisingly and without prejudice, sentiments and dissimulation.

And when in THIS CHRISTMAS . . . THIS DECEMBER, the love of God is expressed and empowered by the Holy Spirit that’s given to us to live in the fulness of God’s grace in Christ Jesus [Romans 5:5, 8], you can be sure and certain of that peace of God that flood, guard and garrison one’s hearts without fears and equally transcends, surpasses and passes human love senses knowledge that’s limited in all context of doing life and living godly toward God and toward mankind. [Philippians 4:6-7; 1 John 4:17-18; 2 Timothy 1:6-7; Acts 24:16].

And LIVING and WALKING by the Holy Spirit of love, is the only EMPOWERING way to manifest and demonstrate the characteristics of God’s Love in Christ Jesus – that is how God’s LOVED WORLD answers to an EVIL WORLD, WICKED WORLD and HATE WORLD questions. And that’s the reason for you to KNOW and EMBRACE the love of God in Christ Jesus, that SURPASSES, TRANSCENDS and PASSES all human senses love knowledge as written.

“That Christ may DWELL in your HEARTS by FAITH; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE, 18 may be ABLE to COMPREHEND with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT; 19 and to KNOW the LOVE of Christ, which PASSETH (TRANSCENDS, SURPASSED)  knowledge (FIVE SENSE), that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19 (Emphasis Mine).

More of God’s love in Christ Jesus is characterised and summed up in the Holy writ of 1 Corinthians 13. It’s all possible by the working of the indwelling Spirit of love that’s given to us – for the Holy Spirit is shed and poured in our hearts – the subconscious spirit man, to ensure that we triumph always through LOVE, in all that pertains to doing LIFE and living GODLY in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. [Romans 5:5, 8; 2 Corinthians 2:14; 2 Peter 1:2-4].

God’s kind of love, is the only way to do life and live through and above the knowledge of the hate, selfishness, evil, wickedness, war and violence that we see today and everywhere between and among – friends, families, relationship, colleagues, community’s, nation’s and the world society at large. God’s love empowered by the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus, is the only de facto to help us to transcend and surpass the human knowledge-based kind of love, which is of the SENSES – which is, of what we See, Smell, Feel, Taste and Hear respectively. Ephesians 3:16-19.

Living by God’s LOVED WORLD setting, is the ANSWER to the SPHERE and QUESTIONS of an EVIL WORLD, WICKED WORLD and HATE WORLD TODAY. The genuine LOVE of God that’s empowered by the Holy Spirit is PURE and REFRESHING, hence it’s called – AGAPE LOVE.

Know full well that LOVE is a mystery and not mystical. For God is Love. God is a mystery and not mystical. His LOVE is practicable, liveable, reachable and loveable, for it’s EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit that’s GIVEN to us as said severally. [Romans 5:5, 8]. And the Holy Spirit person is a mystery to only them and those who don’t know Him in His Love. For He is the one outworking God’s LOVE in Christ Jesus us, and His LOVE is PURE, TRUE, REFRESHING, REJUVENATING and BLOSSOMING as any other fruit of the Spirit – [Galatians 5:22-23].

And God’s LOVE is beautiful, unquestionable, unspeakable, incomprehensible, impeccable, immeasurable and indescribable; and it is a gracious and graceful GIFT that is shared in our hearts by the Holy Spirit; and it’s GIVEN to us to SHARE alike in Christ Jesus stead. God’s LOVE is genuine and involves laying down ones life for the other to keep it alive and refreshing. [John 13:34-35; John 15:9-14; 1 John 2-4].

LOVE – is the BEAUTIFUL GIFT, given to us to SHARE in grace by faith [Galatians 5:6]. It’s about LOVING GOD FIRST, and LOVING OTHERS in His LOVE, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. More so, because Love in context is powered by the Holy Spirit, you can’t help but for you to keep on keeping on, loving again and again and again . . . without prejudice, sentiments and dissimulation with this genuine and truly LOVE to make your love of God in Christ Jesus to be refreshing, liveable, loveable, reachable and practicable – for LOVE is the most EXCELLENT WAY, the gracious and graceful act in DOING LIFE TOGETHER in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. [1 Corinthians 12:31].

The greater love of God, is the only genuine LOVE that’s PURE and REFRESHING and called is AGAPE LOVE – the unconditional love. And it transcends and surpasses human SENSE knowledge love by every measure and context as it’s beyond all comprehension.

Therefore I say to you by God’s kind of LOVE – the AGAPE LOVE, which is EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit of Love, through God’s WORD, in our human spirit, that you should let your Christmas, this Christmas in this December, to be led and empowered by the Holy Spirit of love.

THIS CHRISTMAS: It’s About God’s GREATER LOVE To You – And You WORTH It!

“GREATER LOVE hath no man than this, that a man LAY DOWN his life for his friends.” (John 15:13).

There is no better way to express this most excellent way of God’s love other than this season of Christmas. This Christmas expressed genuinely the LOVE of God, which COST Him His Son Christ Jesus, and eventually COST Christ Jesus His life, on the redemptive CROSS.

“GREATER LOVE hath no man than this, that a man LAY DOWN his life for his friends.” (John 15:13).

It was LOVE at BIRTH and LOVE at DEATH and LOVE on the THRONE for now, today and ever. It’s called, the GREATER LOVE. The love that laid down His life for those He love and will always care about.

The GREATER LOVE is a GIVING LOVE, even when someone else don’t deserve it. It’s love unspeakable, unfathomable, unimaginable and indescribable – it’s an unconditional love. It’s love without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation – hypocrisy. It’s love that surpasses and transcends human sense knowledge. The love that serves, breakthrough barriers by bridging gaps and lubricates our FAITH stands in Christ Jesus to victory and triumph. The God’s kind of love that’s expressed daily in our inner being by the Holy Spirit that dwells in us – Romans 5:5, 8; Romans 12:9-10; Galatians 5:6, 13; Ephesians 3:17-19.

And because you’re worth it, God show forth this GREATER LOVE in Christ Birth, hence you need to max every good thing this love is all about in the course of life. Let none belittle you or take you for granted. You Are Worth – This Greater Love – This Christmas, This December and afterwards.

THIS CHRISTMAS – ENJOY GOD’S GREATER LOVE

I pray for you, that God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in the GREATER LOVE in Christ Jesus stead may abound with you now and always. Amen.

THIS DECEMBER – THIS CHRISTMAS: FIND JOY AND HAPPINESS IN THE EYES OF THE CHILDREN!

This is my CHRISTMAS – it’s found in the eyes of GRANDCHILDREN – The BEAM of CHRISTMAS LOVE and STORIES – are always BORN in their hearts and smiling faces.

Are you in worries and trouble of any sorts in this Christmas, see love in face of the child and children about you. They make the fulness of the JOY and HAPPINESS about us.

This is BLESSEDNESS – when you become in heart as a little child today – in humility and grace – to approach this Christmas SEASON with the graciousness and gracefulness of the REASON, as found in the eyes of children.

OCCUPY TILL I COME – IN GOD’S LOVE: GOD’S LOVE ENHANCES EARTHLY USEFULNESS AND HEAVENLY MINDEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS!

“And HOPE maketh not ASHAMED; because THE LOVE of God is SHED (LAVISHED) abroad in our HEARTS (SPIRIT-BEING) by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . . . 8 But God COMMENDETH his LOVE toward us, in that, while we were YET SINNERS, Christ DIED for us” Romans 5:5, 8.

Talking about LOVE – I mean the LOVE of God in Christ Jesus, that transcends and surpasses the human sense [see, hear, smell, taste, touch/feel] knowledge of love. Herein, I will be laying out a didactic sense of measure of God’s love in Christ Jesus, such that we don’t just say we HAVE LOVE, but we can boldly say, we DO LIVE and WALK in God’s LOVE unreservedly, knowing that LOVE in essence is purely and firstly of God, for God is love [1 John 4:8, 16]; and God’s LOVE, is the lubricant for our life in Christ Jesus and for all mankind. And when an individual come to KNOW THIS LOVE OF GOD that surpasses and transcends our sense knowledge of love, we can then OCCUPY effectively and efficiently in Christ Jesus until He comes, by “BEING EARTHLY USEFUL while HEAVENLY MINDED” in humanity.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 may be able to COMPREHEND with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT; 19 and to KNOW THE LOVE OF christ, which PASSETH (TRANSCENDED,  SURPASSED) KNOWLEDGE (SENSE KNOWLEDGE – SEE, HEAR, TASTE, SMELL, TOUCH/FEEL), that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19/Emphasis Mine.

Love is an ATTITUDE, a deliberate choice, an exercise of the will, a choice of life and is not just a feeling, it is an expression of the nature of God. It is spiritual, divinely inspired and imbedded in the very hearts of all God’s human creation, and more importantly in the very nature of the redeemed child of God. Hence it’s not a doctrine, creed and dogmas. It outlived generation because it’s timeless and of God’s. For God is love as written:

“Beloved, let us LOVE one another: for LOVE is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins . . . 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:7–10, 16-18.

Love is a FRUIT and not a GIFT. FRUITS are GROWN while GIFTS are IMPARTED. Genuine Bible love – Agape – is born and is a product of the Holy Spirit that indwells in us – (Romans 5:5, 8; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:9).

Let’s consider love in diversity for a clearer understanding of the kind of love being implied in this context.

DEFINING THE THREE KINDS OF LOVE:

*1. PHILEO: Grk (of the soul) – Love relationship in family – between parent and child. The Family kind of love. It also embodied love relationship towards friends and colleagues. It means to be fond of; it is based on FEELINGS and not on PRINCIPLE. It’s never used of man’s love to or for God. This is human or natural kind of love. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Genesis 8:19; Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21). This kind of love is however essential and crucial for a family bonding and wellbeing.

*2. EROS: Grk (of the Physical body) – Sexual love; purely reserved for the married – within the bond of marriage. It’s based on PHYSICAL ATTRACTION. It’s neither for fornication nor adultery. Lust and immoral desires have gotten some into it, hence there’s a great act of PERVERSION in our societies today – and we are paying hugely for the consequences across the board. (Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 7:1-9; 1 Corinthians 6:15-20).

*3. AGAPE: Grk (of the spirit) – God kind of love; unconditional, limitless, divine, spiritual. It transcends race, gender, generation, culture, family, physical, personal (self) etc. 1 Corinthians 13. It’s built on PRINCIPLE. Agape love even helps to ensure, STRENGTHEN and MAINTAIN the Phileo and Eros kind of love in all life endeavours. Agape love is based on PRINCIPLE – be it towards things or people.

Notably, the PHILEO OR EROS kinds of Love need to be controlled by AGAPE kind of love or else it will hinder our fellowship with God and leads to SIN acts. (E.g. EROS – 1 Corinthians 13:5; PHILEO – 1 Samuel 2:22-36).

Let’s not just say we have love, lets LIVE and WALK IN LOVE, for love is of the Spirit – Romans 5:5.

IT’S BY TIME TO LIVE AND WALK IN LOVE. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN. FOR THE CHARGE – OCCUPY TILL I COME – IN LOVE ENHANCES EARTHLY USEFULNESS AND HEAVENLY MINDEDNESS.

MY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS DIGEST LETTER TO YOU: WORTH KNOWING AND PONDERING!

Dear Friend,

HEREIN ARE SOME TEN GOLDEN RULES TO ASSIST YOU IN THIS CHRISTMAS IF YOU MAY.

WHAT IS CHRISTMAS? It is a yearly COMMEMORATION and CELEBRATION of God’s LOVE to mankind in the BIRTH of our Lord and Saviour – Christ Jesus and His REDEMPTION cause on earth for the good of ALL mankind.

SOME TEN GOLDEN RULES I LOVE YOU TO OBSERVE – It will secure you in GRACE and BLESSEDNESS in this Christmas.

1ST RULE:

You shall PREPARE your soul for Christmas – Romans 12:1-2.

We need to PREPARE a room in the Inn of our heart for the Lord in this Christmas –

Revelation 3:20; Luke 2:7b

2ND RULE:

You shall not over BURDEN the Sale Clerk with your worries – Matthew 6:25-34 (note especially vs. 33 – the need to seek right).

We need not let the worry of gifts – Shoes, games, transport, groceries, clothing’s, jewelleries and other forms of shopping and shoppers, to weigh us down and get us into debt. Buy today for nothing to Pay in WORRIES with a heavy hearts and burden later.

3RD RULE:

You shall GIVE yourself with your gift – 2 Corinthians 8:1-5; 2 Corinthians 9:7-11; Psalm 49:6-9.

Give God your heart before your material gains and gifts: Give me your heart, the Lord requires first before anything. Your life is worth to God than your gift.

4TH RULE:

You shall not VALUE gift by their cost – Luke 21:1-5; Matthew 2:11.

The least expensive gift may speak LOVE and with great hearts than the costly.

5TH RULE:

You shall not LEAVE (keep) Christ outside Christmas – Matthew 2:13.

Joseph was with Christ on and in Christmas mood hence he could hear God of the enemy

plan – King Herod’s – against baby Jesus. Don’t let Christmas be used for evil work to you and your family.

6TH RULE:

You shall not ALLOW Father Christmas to replace Christ in your heart and that of your family – Ephesians 3:13-14; Colossians 1:27; Luke 2:11.

Some has put up some masquerade acts to display in devilish mood, terrorising and frightening people in the name of Christmas. Don’t get people hurt please.

7TH RULE:

You shall not FORGET and NEGLECT the needy – James 1:27; 2:14-20.

Christmas is a very good time to extend God’s love to you to the needy around you. For the have not will always be among us the scriptures says – Deuteronomy 15:11; Mark 14:7.

8TH RULE:

You shall not NEGLECT your Church of gathering for Fellowship and Worship – Hebrews 10:25.

What is the Church? It is the voluntarily gathering of people to fellowship with one another and to worship God in spirit and truth. The service in the Church highlights the Christmas. In the morning it is called MASS – Celebration and Commemoration while in the evening – it is called BENEDICTION.

9TH RULE:

You shall be as a LITTLE Child – Mark 10:15

It takes a childhood heart to embrace the spirit of Christ birth called Christmas.

Hence it’s a time of childhood spirit and not childish attitude which we see on our streets during this period.

10TH RULE:

You shall WORSHIP and give your heart to Christ – Matthew 2:11; John 3:16; Revelation 3:20; John 1:12.

Let Christ be at the top of your Christmas. Prepare and decorate your hearts much more to your house.

AND FINALLY:

SELFISHNESS makes Christmas a BURDEN but LOVE makes Christmas – PEACEFUL, LOVELY, GOOD WILL and JOYOUS in everyway.

Joseph was with Christ during Christmas celebration mood, hence he could hear God of the enemy and cohorts intent and plan – for King Herod’s had set a danger plan against baby Jesus. Don’t let Christmas be used for evil work against you and your family.

Some will put up some masquerade and sorcery circus acts to display in devilish mood, terrorising and frightening people in the name of Christmas. Don’t get people hurt please. Stay far away from such attraction.

* 7TH WISDOM NUGGETS DIGEST: You shall not FORGET and NEGLECT the needy – James 1:27; 2:14-20.

Christmas is a very good time to extend God’s love in you to the needy around you. For the have not will always be among us the scriptures says – Deuteronomy 15:11; Mark 14:7.

* 8TH WISDOM NUGGETS DIGEST: You shall not NEGLECT your Church – the place of gathering for Fellowship, serve and Worship of God in Christ Jesus stead – Hebrews 10:25.

What is the Church? It is the voluntary gathering of people to FELLOWSHIP with one another in the LOVE of Christ, to SERVE God ACCEPTABLY and to WORSHIP God WORTHILY in spirit and truth. The service in the Church highlights the Christmas. In the morning it is called MASS – Celebration and Commemoration while in the evening – it is called BENEDICTION. John 4:20-24; Philippians 3:3; 1 Corinthians 1:9, 1 Corinthians 14:25.

* 9TH WISDOM NUGGETS DIGEST: You shall be humble as a LITTLE Child – Mark 10:15. It takes a childhood heart to embrace the spirit of Christ birth for the called Christmas. Hence it’s a time of childhood spirit and not childish attitude which we may see on our streets and community during this period.

* 10TH WISDOM NUGGETS DIGEST: You shall WORSHIP and give your heart toward God in Christ Jesus – Matthew 2:11; John 3:16; Revelation 3:20; John 1:12. Let Christ be at the top of your Christmas commemoration and celebration. Prepare and decorate your hearts much more to your house.

KEEP SELFISHNESS OUT OF YOUR CHRISTMAS – FOR SELFISHNESS makes Christmas a BURDEN but LOVE makes Christmas – PEACEFUL, LOVELY, GOOD WILL and JOYOUS in everyway. FOR GIVING IS LIVING. AND CONTENTMENT IS A GREAT GAIN IN LIFE AND GODLINESS.
