GOD IS FAITHFUL: BEING FAITHFUL IS REWARDING! 

“FAITHFUL is he that CALLETH you, who also will DO it” 1 Thessalonians 5:24. 

“So then, let us [who MINISTER] be regarded as servants of Christ and STEWARDS (TRUSTEES, ADMINISTRATORS) of the MYSTERIES of God [that He CHOOSES to reveal]. 2 In this case, moreover, it is REQUIRED [as essential and demanded] of STEWARDS that one be found FAITHFUL and TRUSTWORTHY” 1 Corinthians 4:1-2/Amplified. 

Many times, I have come across the QUEST for an ANSWER by some Believers who are genuine in their dedication and commitment toward God and toward men – burdened as to say – if indeed being FAITHFUL, that’s  to say, staying FAITHFUL, is still REWARDING at all. Some of these people have been beaten and battered in life in many ways that the drive and passion to remain FAITHFUL seems deceptive, illusive and unrealistic to them in matters of life and godly living. But I know Faithfulness is rewarding; and God is still FAITHFUL even when we walk away from His faithfulness, because faithfulness is about His person and nature and He can’t deny Himself because of us. 

“It is a FAITHFUL saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 if we SUFFER, we shall also REIGN with him: if we DENY him, he also will DENY us: 13 if we BELIEVE NOT, yet He ABIDETH FAITHFUL: He CANNOT DENY himself” 2 Timothy 2:11-13. 

And sometimes as a Pastor, you are almost drawn into these sentiments of people whose acts of FAITHFULNESS are shattered, when you are presented with the vivid facts of their encounters and experiences. Especially when you see matters of life in this light: 

  • A woman being beaten up and maimed by the temperamental and untampered husband or like another husband having a wife you can’t truly be assured anymore of her ways due to the change from a WE statement to an – I, ME and MYSELF trinity. 
  • When an employee working and putting up with much of the skill to see the business setting THRIVE for the good of the Business with hope while such employee is being undermined by the employer with no fair and justifiable returns; or an employer doing and going beyond the company capacity to ensure employees are looked after, are given a good commensurate returns and care, while therein are some mean, dubious, undedicated and untrustworthy employee, who are there only for the looting, wasting and undermining the prospects of seeing such Business THRIVE knowingly and unknowingly; and they knowing that their doings may have terrible impact on them and all those who looks up to them through that means for their livelihood. 
  • When a government is failing in governance to the cause and course of giving leadership and governance in the distribution of the set resources to everyone without prejudice, discrimination and dissemination and such like; while there are some others within the system sabotaging the good effort and structure in place for the good governance and wealth distribution to all by their wicked, crafty, cunning and evil intent to loot the system and make it fail at no consequence. 
  • And the list goes on and on in various life applications of the challenge of FAITHFULNESS – BEING FAITHFUL. You can name them too to make up this paragraph. 

However, I am emboldened to say by the light of the Scriptures that BEING FAITHFUL – that is, FAITHFULNESS is rewarding in God, no Matter the prevailing challenges and circumstances that one might face or have been facing for a while or may face later on. For me, the knowing that God is FAITHFUL to Himself and His WORD in all about LIFE and GODLY LIVING, I recommend again of the need to live FAITHFUL. Hence, we are employed and enjoined as Believers in Christ Jesus stead, that in whatever capacity – WORD OR DEED, in carrying out our duty or Services, as toward God and toward man, we should do it as unto God in the name of Jesus Christ; for God is FAITHFUL to REWARD us accordingly in spite of all happenings, in His grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. Therefore, I say to you, hold fast and firmly to the MYSTERY of the FAITH in the grace in Christ Jesus stead, with a PURE CONSCIENCE. 

Herein are few hints but not limited to indicate that FAITHFULNESS – BEING FAITHFUL, IS REWARDING in God, in Christ Jesus stead: 

  1. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, gets one an enriching reward and abounds with blessings. Proverbs 28:20; Proverbs 10:22; Ephesians 1:3.
  2. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, permits progress and abounds with healing and health. Proverbs 13:17, 2 Corinthians 5:20.
  3. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, abounds with refreshing grace for the good of others. Proverbs 25:13; Isaiah 44:24-26.
  4. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, abounds with commendation and the enabling to increase and promotion. Matthew 25:21, 23; Mark 10:28-30.
  5. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, abounds with eternal reward. Matthew 25:21b, 23b; Mark 10:28-30.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“FAITHFUL is he that CALLETH you, who also will DO it” 1 Thessalonians 5:24 [1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30]. 

“But the Lord is FAITHFUL, who shall STABLISH you, and KEEP you from EVIL“ 2 Thessalonians 3:3. 

“And WHATSOEVER ye do in WORD or DEED, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” Colossians 3:17.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: LIVING FAITHFUL TOWARD GOD AND TOWARD MEN! 

“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the WILL of God, to the SAINTS which are at Ephesus, and to THE FAITHFUL in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 1:1 

“And herein do I EXERCISE myself, to have always a CONSCIENCE void of offence TOWARD God, and TOWARD men” Acts 24:16. 

“HOLDING the MYSTERY OF THE FAITH in a PURE CONSCIENCE” 1 Timothy 3:9. 

The knowing that GOD IS FAITHFUL and we need to live FAITHFUL and FAITHFULLY TOWARD Him, is a gracious and graceful place and position to be in Christ Jesus stead; but that’s not complimentary enough until we actualised our life, by being FAITHFUL and FAITHFULLY TOWARD men. THERE’S THE NEED TODAY TO LIVE FAITHFUL TOWARD GOD AND TOWARD MEN; more so, especially those that are set apart to LOOK WELL and ACCOUNT for souls in the Kingdom spiritually. 

It does mean, that we can’t claim to be FAITHFUL toward God, while we go about living UNFAITHFUL lives toward those who OVERSEE our spiritual well-being in Christ Jesus’ stead. It is a dangerous place to be when you are not living Scripturally FAITHFUL and FAITHFULLY TOWARD the one you know that you’ve inclined your spiritual mentorship and leadership toward, irrespective of any circumstance. 

Today, we have lots and loads of loose or loosen believers who thinks FREEDOM in Christ Jesus stead or under grace is without boundaries and precautionary measures. Unfortunately, many have not taken time to read the clauses in Galatians 5:1, 13 (1-25), as to not using their freedom or liberty in Christ Jesus for FLESH-RULED behaviours. Hence many do not know how to BEHAVE themselves in the house of God, for which Apostle Paul cautioned, charged, admonished and exhorted Timothy in such respect as in the Holy writ: 

“These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: 15 but if I tarry long, that thou MAYEST KNOW HOW THOU OUGHTEST TO BEHAVE thyself in the HOUSE of God, which is the CHURCH of the living God, the pillar and ground of the TRUTH” 1 Timothy 3:14-15. 

Apostle Paul was such an outstanding Apostle, who knew what it means to hold the mystery of the Gospel FAITH in PURE CONSCIENCE and to live in GOOD and FAITHFUL CONSCIENCE toward God and toward men in respect [Acts 24:16; 1 Timothy 3:9]. As such he could hand over the failing UNFAITHFUL BRETHREN to satan to teach such the needed lesson to value their FAITH peradventure; and to help such see the need to live Scripturally FAITHFUL in all that pertains to doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead [Colossians 1:28-29; 1 Corinthians 5:1-6]. 

He could do this on the principle of knowing the responsibility and accountability on his shoulder as an OVERSEER over God’s heritage, in order to present them perfect – complete, whole – as one that’s being looked up for spiritual guidance toward God in Christ Jesus stead; also, for the reason of the abundant of grace in revelation that he has received of God in the Gospel [Colossians 1:28-29; Galatians 1:11-24]. 

However, the same Apostle Paul, in order to ACCOUNT FAITHFULLY to his MINISTERIAL set CALL and PURSUIT in God in Christ Jesus stead, was able also to SAY and ACCOUNT graciously and gracefully of the FAITHFUL BRETHREN about him; these are people he can ascertain and account of their being FAITHFUL and in FAITHFULNESS in Christ without a shadow of – RESPECT of persons or for any GAIN as some may be lured to do. He knows the implications of such PRINCIPLED responsibility and accountability to be an OVERSEER over God’s heritage and precious people for their spiritual well-being in Christ Jesus stead. Hence a Gospel Minister, POSITIONED to ATTEST and ACCOUNT of the FAITH of the flocks must see it as a SACRED duty, privileged and opportunity to SERVE FAITHFUL and FAITHFULLY toward God and toward men without sentiment, prejudice, dissimulation and irrespective. 

Herein are few examples of FAITHFUL Brethren in Christ Jesus as accredited to Apostle Paul and Peter Account and not limited however: 

  • Tychicus – (A BELOVED Brother, A FAITHFUL Minister and Fellowservant in the Lord) – Colossians 4:7-8; Ephesians 6:21-22. 
  • Onesimus – (A FAITHFUL and BELOVED Brother) – Colossians 4:9. 
  • Epaphras – (A Dear Fellowservant and FAITHFUL Minister) – Colossians 1:7. 
  • Timotheus – (A BELOVED Son and FAITHFUL in the Lord) – 1 Corinthians 4:17. 
  • Lydia – (A BELOVED and FAITHFUL Woman in the Lord) Acts 16:14-16. 
  • Silvanus – (A FAITHFUL Brother) – 1 Peter 5:12. 

There are other FAITHFUL Brethren though not mentioned as Ephesians 1:1 will enjoin of those in Christ Jesus. The essence of these mentioned, is to indicate that our being FAITHFUL is not only TOWARD God, but also TOWARD men – especially those who are placed of God to OVERSEE your spiritual well-being in Christ Jesus’ stead. They have a responsibility and accountability in principle to ensure they bestow and commit Kingdom Ministerial work only to the FAITHFUL Brethren – 2 Timothy 2:1-3; for not all in the house of God have FAITH or rather are endeavouring to live FAITHFUL to the CAUSE of God and toward men – 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Obey them that have the RULE over you, and SUBMIT yourselves: for they WATCH for your souls, as they that MUST GIVE ACCOUNT, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you” Hebrews 13:17. 

“Be thou DILIGENT to KNOW the STATE of thy FLOCKS, and LOOK WELL to thy HERDS” Proverbs 27:23. 

“Let a man so ACCOUNT of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and STEWARDS OF THE MYSTERIES of God. 2 Moreover it is REQUIRED in STEWARDS, that a man be found FAITHFUL. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self” 1 Corinthians 4:1-3.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: YOU ARE FATHER ABRAHAM’S SEED

GOD IS FAITHFUL: YOU ARE FATHER ABRAHAM’S SEED – BE FAITHFUL AS FAITHFUL ABRAHAM! 

“And if ye BE Christ’s, then ARE ye Abraham’s SEED, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE” Galatians 3:29. 

As I read, ponder and make up this write up, I recall countless times I have sang and still sing the song: “ABRAHAM BLESSINGS ARE MINE”. This I have done for over 45yrs plus and still counting. And then while working on the cause and course of this month theme, the Lord reminds me again of the Scripture of Galatians 3:6-9, 29 in a more ASSURED insight and foresight, as written: 

“Even as Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they WHICH ARE OF FAITH, the same are the CHILDREN of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, PREACHED before the GOSPEL unto Abraham, saying, IN THEE SHALL ALL NATIONS BE BLESSED. 9 So then they which be of faith ARE BLESSED with FAITHFUL Abraham . . . 29 And if ye BE Christ’s, then ARE ye Abraham’s SEED, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE“ Galatians 3:6-9, 29. 

How gracious and graceful for one to easily lay claim to be ABRAHAM’S seed and wants ABRAHAM’S Blessings; more so, to be God’s friend as ABRAHAM’S, as we do sing “I AM A FRIEND OF GOD”, even as the Scriptures indicate in James 2:23. Yeah, the Scriptures did say in Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29, that as many of us who ARE of FAITH in Christ Jesus ARE of ABRAHAM’S and can share in the Abrahamic BLESSEDNESS of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. This becomes possible because Abraham was ascribed as being FAITHFUL ABRAHAM; this is due to his obedience and humility in believing God’s word above anything else and being ASSURED of God’s FAITHFULNESS in His promise, to let go of himself and let God be, in all about him doing life and living godly to fulfill God’s divine PURPOSE meaningfully.  

Abraham was FAITHFUL toward God from the moment the GOSPEL as said in Galatians 3:8 was PREACHED to him; and I repeat, that the GOSPEL of God in FAITH was PREACHED to him, wherein he BELIEVED and acted upon accordingly, intentionally and unreservedly. He believed God, and in obedience through FAITH, he journeyed with God in FAITHFULNESS until death as in his memoir in the Holy writ of Genesis 12-25 and Hebrews 11:8-12, 17-19. And all who came afterwards in FAITH have shared in the BLESSEDNESS of him, in God, in that he was FAITHFUL towards God as ascribed of him – FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. 

Let us see some FAITHFUL characteristics of FAITHFUL ABRAHAM that we can learn of him and can use as a measure to ascertain in SHARING in his GOSPEL enabling for us today: 

  1. He was FAITHFUL to OBEY when he received the call of God without conferring with flesh and blood. He left all, his people inclusive, to cleave to God in faith. How I wish we can learn of him, on how to LEAVE and CLEAVE to a CAUSE – PURPOSE. Genesis 12; Galatians 1:12-17; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5 (Make 10:7). 
  2. He was FAITHFUL to depend on God’s provisions when tried and tested by his nephew – Lot – who was in his greediness on business deals and acquisitions with him. He turned his face to God, instead of having a fight on Earthly possessions that takes people lives instead of offering life. Genesis 13; Luke 12:15; Mark 10:28-3; Philippians 4:13, 19; 2 Corinthians 9:8; 2 Corinthians 3:4-6.
  3. He was FAITHFUL to pay up in FAITH at no pressure or dispute, the TITHE of his earnings – Genesis 14; Hebrews 7:1-9; Hebrews 3:1-2; Matthew 23:23; Matthew 22:15-22; 2 Corinthians 8-9; Luke 6:38; Luke 8:1-3; Acts 20:32-35; (Proverbs 3:9-10; Malachi 3:10-12; Deuteronomy 26:1-19; Leviticus 27:30-33). 
  4. He was FAITHFUL toward God in Covenant in FAITH, being assured that God will do the needful – Genesis 15-17; Philippians 1:6; 1 John 5:14-15; Hebrews 10:23, 35-39.
  5. He was FAITHFUL to receive and entertained Angelic visitors unaware and at no question or cost. Genesis 18; Hebrews 13:1-3; Romans 12:9-21.
  6. He was FAITHFUL to intercede in prayers for His family and Nation in crises and awaiting God’s judgement, peradventure God might show mercy – Genesis 18/19; Isaiah 59:16; Ezekiel 22:30; Romans 8:26:26-27; Isaiah 53:12; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25.
  7. He was such FAITHFUL to let GO of his wife when challenged, in order to fulfil PURPOSE in God; and God foreseeing his sincerity saved him and wife from such challenging test of his marital relationship. Genesis 20; Mark 10:28-31; Colossians 4:17; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30.
  8. He was FAITHFUL in the midst of the CONFUSION he found himself by the errors and failures he made in course of time in his decision. And God was there to turn his MESS into a MESSAGE because he was troubled and repentant. Genesis 21; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; Galatians 1:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 5:24; 1 John 1:9-10.
  9. He was FAITHFUL to let Go of his precious and most treasured gift – his son Isaac to God, at God’s request and demand, without questioning and arguing with God of His intent. – Genesis 22; Hebrews 11:17-19.
  10. He was FAITHFUL even at his loss of his dear wife and in bereavement. And turn his lost for legacy, in that by her burying place, he then set up a foundation stone (the land of Canaan) that earmarked that which was to be FULFILLED for posterity in God’s Prophecy in MOSES and the Israelites in years to come. Genesis 23; (Galatians 3:17-18; Genesis 15:12-14); 2 Corinthians 1:3-11; John 11:1-45; Romans 12:15; James 5:13.
  11. He was FAITHFUL in that he was able to create the needed atmosphere that his son Isaac could get married faithfully. Genesis 24; 1 Timothy 4:12; Titus 2:1-8; Ephesians 6:1-4; Ephesians 5:21-33; 1 Peter 3:1-12.
  12. He was FAITHFUL to leave an inheritance for his Children as he died in FAITH, fulfiling PURPOSE in FAITHFULNESS. Genesis 25; Proverbs 13:22. 

Abraham have FAITH in God’s FAITHFULNESS – being FAITHFUL; that’s why he was prepared from the moment of receiving the GOSPEL of FAITH, to LET GO of himself of anything, counting and accounting that God will take CARE of him no matter what may happen; thus indicating that whatsoever he let go at God’s request, God knows best as He’s a FAITHFUL God to make it up for him in a far better placement than the one he could have held unto and held back with; and in selfishness and in not Believing and Trusting that GOD IS FAITHFUL to keep to His PROMISE.  

Today, we as Abraham seed, who are partakers of his enabling in Christ Jesus, how much can it be said, that we are as him, in being called FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. Let us not be the Believers in Christ Jesus stead, who wants the BLESSEDNESS of Abraham but are not PREPARED of the PROCESS in it; especially when that is the part that can fortify and make us grounded and rooted in FAITH and in the FAITH, in Christ Jesus stead, as we share in his blessing. 

ABRAHAM was called a friend of God – James 2:23, because of the attribute of being FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. May we be as he was toward God in Christ Jesus stead I pray for now and always. Amen.

“Hearken to me, ye that FOLLOW AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, ye that seek the Lord: LOOK UNTO THE ROCK whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto ABRAHAM YOUR FATHER, and unto SARAH THAT BARE YOU: for I CALLED him alone, and BLESSED him, and INCREASED him. 3 For the Lord shall COMFORT Zion: he will COMFORT all her waste places; and he will make her WILDERNESS like Eden, and her DESERT like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody” Isaiah 51:1-3. 

“Even as Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they WHICH ARE OF FAITH, the same are the CHILDREN of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, PREACHED before the GOSPEL unto Abraham, saying, IN THEE SHALL ALL NATIONS BE BLESSED. 9 So then they which be of faith ARE BLESSED with FAITHFUL Abraham . . . 13 Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith . . . 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. 

“By FAITH Abraham, when he was CALLED to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, OBEYED; and he went out, NOT KNOWING whither he went. 9 By FAITH he sojourned in THE LAND OF PROMISE, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 for he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 Through FAITH also Sara herself RECEIVED STRENGTH TO CONCEIVE SEED and was DELIVERED of a child when she was past age, because she judged him FAITHFUL who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable . . . 17 By FAITH Abraham, when he was tried, OFFERED up Isaac: and he that had RECEIVED the promises OFFERED up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 ACCOUNTING that God was ABLE to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he RECEIVED him in a FIGURE” Hebrews 11:8-19. 

“But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father JUSTIFIED by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how FAITH wrought with his works, and by works was FAITH made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the FRIEND of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only” James 2:20-24. 

“As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he BELIEVED, even God, who QUICKENETH the dead, and CALLETH those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against HOPE believed in HOPE, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness . . .” Romans 4:17-25.

God Is FAITHFUL: Bank On Him! 

I want you to know for your assurance in the grace, that our God is FAITHFUL. And you need to bank on Him 24/7, because it will count and account for your good in every way in His grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHT WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9/Amplified. 

“Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]” Hebrews 10:23/Amplified.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: FAITHFULNESS IS HIS BEING NATURE! 

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy FAITHFULNESS to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy FAITHFULNESS shalt thou establish in the very heavens. 3. I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 thy seed will I establish forever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy FAITHFULNESS also in the congregation of the saints . . .” Psalms 89:1-52. 

One thing is certain in life and that is – LIKE BEGAT LIKE. A tree doesn’t give birth to an animal or mammal. A Lion doesn’t give birth to a Leopard, nor a Goat give birth to a Sheep even in their proximity of likeness or characteristics. 

One need to know full well that we ARE the offspring of God, the sheep of His pasture according to the Scriptures – [(Acts 17:24-29; Psalms 100:3; 1 John 4:17-18); (John 10:34-35; Psalms 82:6; Genesis 3:5)]. It then means that we can live a FAITHFUL life and achieve good successes with God when we dare. The other reason that we can achieve success is because we are the seed of Abraham – who was FAITHFUL and prospered when he dared. The same grace is available to us today when we dare, irrespective of any of our challenges  toward being FAITHFUL and to prosper in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. [2 Peter 1:2-4; Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. (See Genesis 13:2; 24:1)] 

Our God is a FAITHFUL God, that is His NATURE. He’s God of FAITHFULNESS – He lives within Himself – His NATURE. And as such, in achieving life’s goals with God in Christ Jesus stead, it would be great for you to look at the nature of God regarding FAITHFULNESS as found of Him in the Holy writ: 

  1.  God is FAITHFUL to Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13.
  2. God is FAITHFUL to His Word and promises. Hebrews 10:23.
  3. God is FAITHFUL to His relationship. 1 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 8:28-30.
  4. God is FAITHFUL to forgive. 1 John 1:9 (5-10).
  5. God is FAITHFUL in agreement. Deuteronomy 7:9.
  6. God is FAITHFUL to establish and deliver. 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
  7. God is FAITHFUL to accomplish His part in the assignment that He gives to us. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
  8. God is the/a FAITHFUL creator. 1 Peter 4:19.

Considering the above-mentioned nature of God in being FAITHFUL, you can bank on His FAITHFULNESS in His grace and BLESSEDNESS; this will give you the enabling leverage to abound the more, in sharing and partaking of His promises in the REDEMPTION DEED, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

God Is FAITHFUL: He CALLED Us Into His FELLOWSHIP – To Enhance Our RELATIONSHIP In Him! 

“GOD IS FAITHFUL, by whom ye were CALLED unto the FELLOWSHIP of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9. 

“Let us HOLD FAST the profession of our faith without wavering; for HE IS FAITHFUL that promised” Hebrews 10:23. 

We were created for FELLOWSHIP. We lost it in Adam; but thanks to God that in Christ Jesus by our REDEMPTION in Him, we’ve been CALLED, having been FOREKNOWN, PREDESTINATED, JUSTIFIED and GLORIFIED to share in this FELLOWSHIP; and not just for now only but for all eternity as we stand in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. [Genesis 3:8-11 (1-24); 1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30; 1 John 1:1-10]. 

FELLOWSHIP enhances RELATIONSHIP. Show me an outstanding and stable RELATIONSHIP, I will show you the FELLOWSHIP that has been built over time, behind the scenes, to make it LIKEABLE, LOVEABLE and LIVEABLE. 

COMMUNION – the Common Union is about being together in common grace of life – [1 Peter 3:7-12 (1-12)]; and that is what makes the relationships of grace, a UNIFIED bond of common knowledge and understanding on same path of life, in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS.  

You can develop a sense of fellowship (communion) today to enhance your relationship with God, spouse, family and to all mankind in all good and pure consciousness. It’s on such atmosphere you can experience and know with full joy, that – GOD IS FAITHFUL and in all His way. Amen.

THE PROMISES OF GOD – EVER TRUE AND EVER SURE: YOU CAN BANK ON IT TODAY AND ALWAYS!

“For SURELY THERE IS AN END; and thine EXPECTATION shall not be Cut Off” Proverbs 23:18 [Proverbs 24:14].

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS: 35 but in EVERY NATION he that feareth (REVERENCE) him, and WORKETH RIGHTEOUSNESS, is ACCEPTED with him” Acts 10:34-35/Emphasis. Mine

Step into the day with HOPE and ASSURANCE in FAITH that WORKS through LOVE, because the PROMISES of God are ever sure and true. You can BANK on His PROMISSORY NOTE to you, because God is FAITHFUL to all His promises, and your momentary delay does not mean His denial of you for sure –  He will be on time as always. [Philippians 1:6; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 10:23; Galatians 5:6; 1 Thessalonians 1:3-5].

God plays no gimmicks as men neither with men. And of two immutability of His counsel – in order to authenticate with assurances to His PROMISES, He has taken an oath in His NAME and His WORD; that’s to say – He can’t and won’t lie, and can’t begin one with you now or ever. His PROMISES to us are EVER SURE And STEADFAST – you can BANK on it today, and even now. [Psalms 138:2/Amplified; Hebrews 6:16-20; Numbers 23:19, 23; Matthew 24:35 (Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33)].

“I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have EXALTED above all else Your NAME and Your WORD and You have MAGNIFIED Your WORD above all Your NAME!” Psalms 138:2/Amplified Classic Edition.

In order to authenticate that God is faithful, true and ever sure, He has GIVEN us the Holy Spirit as a SEALED of ownership which also is His PLEDGE to GUARANTEE as DOWN payment and SECURITY DEPOSIT to His promises to you and all. Much more, He has assured us that His promises are only in the YES and AMEN and never in the NO or NAY as some may have purportedly claim which is unfortunate.

“For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was PREACHED among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not “YES” and “NO,” but has proved to be “YES” in Him [true and faithful, the divine “YES” affirming God’s promises]. 20 For as many as are the PROMISES of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “YES.” So through Him we say our “AMEN” to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who ESTABLISHES and CONFIRMS us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and who has ANOINTED us [empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit]” 2 Corinthians 1:19-21/Amplified.

When you are ASSURED of this INSURED act of God, you need not allow worry and anxiety to rule and own your day. It’s your moment to STAND upright, STEP on, HEAD up and straight, SHOULDER high and HEELS of faith high, to win your day. [Philippians 1:6; 1 John 5:13-15].

You can BANK on God’s PROMISES to you today – and you can CHECK in that HEAVENLY PROMISSORY NOTE and Live joyfully all day long in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead . Amen.

May every grace and blessings that are yours in Christ Jesus abound more and more. Amen.

GOD IS ABLE AND FAITHFUL

GOD IS ABLE AND FAITHFUL: DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS!

“But ye are a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath CALLED you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have OBTAINED mercy” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

The last time I checked with God about you in the Scriptures, He said, that your WORTH in Him is GRACIOUS and PRICELESS. So, don’t let your present turbulence or circumstances makes you SETTLE FOR LESS than your WORTH in Christ Jesus; and in same scenario, don’t disvalue and undermine your worth on the grace before our God in the name of humility, which is actually ignorance, foolishness and stupidity to the context of His word on the scriptures on our redemption in Christ Jesus; and do not even submit before man nor satanic influences, because your true worth definition is not in men or Satan and cohorts . Know for certainty that YOU ARE MORE OF GOD AND ABOVE ONLY. You ARE CHOSEN, you ARE ROYAL, you ARE HOLY, you ARE PECULIAR, you ARE CALLED, and have RECEIVED and OBTAINED mercy in the grace, wherein you stand before God without guilt, unashamed and without complex and without insecurity and without anchor, wrath and doubt of any form and fear of any kind standing before the creator God in Christ Jesus. A place of no sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation.

“I desire therefore that in every place men should pray, WITHOUT anger or quarrelling or resentment or doubt [in their minds], lifting up holy hands” 1 Timothy 2:8/Amplified Classic Edition.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control” 2 Timothy 1:7/Amplified Classic Edition.

You ARE of God, and His DESIGN and SHOWCASE LABEL to the world, for you ARE wonderfully and fearfully created, that is, reverently made. You ARE God made. You ARE of God’s cornerstone that’s fashioned and polished in the similitude of His palatial palace of GRACIOUSNESS, GRACEFULNESS, FAITHFULNESS and BLESSEDNESS. The world by the make-up may discredit you, which is okay for them as they qualify and quantify you as you ARE not of them, for you ARE of God, which is the hallmark of living a purpose-driven life that brings about meaningful fulfilment in the grace. And your stand in the grace gives you access to Father God and to enjoy the justified life in Christ Jesus.

“YE ARE OF GOD, little children, and have OVERCOME them: because GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 WE ARE OF GOD: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error“ 1 John 4:4-6.

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED by faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS by faith into this GRACE wherein we STAND, and REJOICE in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2.

Your REDEMPTION is PRICELESS, don’t demean your WORTH for the less. Know full well, there’s an answer to your prayers, for God is able and faithful to meet up with you at the point of your need. God is NEVER late when you are patience – He’s always on time – Hebrews 10:23, 35-39. He lives in TIMELESS realm of possibility not on our 24hrs Gregorian timed Calendar. Hence FAITH which is a necessity tool of timeless realm in Him, is of paramount importance to engage with God – 1 John 5:4-5; Hebrews 11:6; Habakkuk 2:4. And surely and assuredly, God will meet you up at that point of possibility realm – Mark 9:23; Mark 10:27 and Matthew 19:26.

Dust off yourself right now, heads up and raise your shoulder high and put on your high heels of redemption, rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. Then arise in grace and look unto the HILLS wherein comes the ANSWERS and not the QUESTIONS as you step into your day. It’s your time to shine, go forth and shine, for your light is come and God’s PRICELESS glory is upon you.

Be Blessed – Meaning – Be Empowered in grace To Succeed, Thrive, Colour and be meaningfully Fulfilled.

YOU ARE WORTH THE LIVING – THE BEST OF GOD – DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS.

TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST FOR EVER: THE TOUGH IN FAITH WILL ALWAYS KEEP ON KEEPING ON – EVEN WHEN ALL THINGS COMES TO A HALT!

“Dear brothers, is your life FULL OF DIFFICULTIES and TEMPTATIONS? Then be HAPPY, 3 for when the way is ROUGH, your PATIENCE has a chance to GROW. 4 So let it GROW, and don’t try to SQUIRM OUT of your problems. For when your PATIENCE is finally in FULL BLOOM, then you will be READY for anything, STRONG IN CHARACTER, FULL AND COMPLETE” James 1:2-4/Living Bible [TLB].

Sometimes doing life by the book, and the right things as expected in all goodness, may seems to be unfair in some or many occasions; and getting the expected helps to ensure that the good decisions that one have made or to make in order to accomplish the intended plans, purposes and pursuits seems unfounded or eluded. I know the feelings and understand of  such circumstances. And if that’s your circumstances, God is good and faithful, true and sure to answer you in all MATTERS in His grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

However, no matter how unfair doing life and doing the right things may seems to you today, know full well that God will eventually meet you at the point of you need, FOR TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST FOREVER; and as long as you keep on keeping up in Faith, and as one that has a trusting spirit on God’s faithfulness and to His promises, there’s going to be an ANSWER. For being steadfastly and diligence and patience, in the grace through faith, so will God cause to have access to our promise inheritance in Him.

“For God is not UNRIGHTEOUS [UNFAITHFUL, UNGRATEFUL] to forget your WORK and LABOUR of love, which ye have SHEWED toward his name, in that ye have MINISTERED to the saints, and DO MINISTER. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE of hope unto the end: 12 that ye be not SLOTHFUL, but FOLLOWERS of them who through FAITH and PATIENCE INHERIT THE PROMISES” Hebrews 6:10-12/Emphasis Mine.

There’s the need to know full well and be assured, that every challenges has an appointed time, that is to say, there’s an end game time and date set to it under the sun no matter how long it last or stays; the Holy Writ indicates that – the expectations of the one who keeps on keeping up to maintain a right standing with God in trial times will not be cut off as written:

“For SURELY there is an END; and thine EXPECTATION shall not be CUT OFF” Proverbs 23:8.

When you ARE assured and insured as the Patriarch Abraham in God’s faithfulness to His promises, there will be hope against hope, and your tough times will never last forever; more so, God’s divine intervention will cause all things to work together for your good, happiness and peace. So did God to His promise to Abraham. All things eventually came together to a perfect, complete and whole answers to all expectations of God.

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28.

“. . . I have made you a FATHER OF MANY NATIONS, BEFORE WHOM HE BELIEVED, even God . . . Who (Abraham) AGAINST HOPE BELIEVED IN HOPE, that he might be a father of many nations . . . being FULLY PERSUADED that, what He (God) had promised, He was ABLE also to PERFORM . . .” Romans 4:17-25.

So today, no matter how much you’ve war to do the right things and the journey seems long or or longer, you need to keep on keeping up in faith. For faith is the VICTORY to overcome all trials of your journey in order to thrive and be more than conquerors over the world system of doing life that has stood in your path of progress and success. Faith, which is the corresponding action on what you believe on God’s WORD will surely locate you with your expectations as written:

“For WHATSOEVER is BORN of God OVERCOMETH the world: and this is the VICTORY that OVERCOMETH the world, even our FAITH. 5 Who is he that OVERCOMETH the world, but he that BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5.

THERE MAY BE TOUGH TIMES – BUT TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST FOR EVER. THE TOUGH IN FAITH WILL ALWAYS KEEP ON KEEPING ON, EVEN WHEN ALL THINGS COMES TO A HALT.

I pray that our good and faithful, true and sure God, will keep you in grace and strengthen you courageously and keep you keeping on in faith, in Christ Jesus stead – until your BLESSEDNESS in Him is actualised meaningfully and purposefully.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. 3 Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing . . . 12 Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God” [for temptation does not originate from God, but from our own flaws]; for God cannot be tempted by [what is] evil, and He Himself tempts no one. 14 But each one is tempted when he is dragged away, enticed and baited [to commit sin] by his own [worldly] desire (lust, passion)” James 1:2-4, 12-14. (Amplified).

“Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation]. 13 No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy]” 1 Corinthians 10:12-3. Amplified.

“CASTING ALL YOUR CARE upon him; for he CARETH for you. 8 Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST in the FAITH, KNOWING THAT THE SAME AFFLICTIONS ARE ACCOMPLISHED IN YOUR BRETHREN THAT ARE IN THE WORLD. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” 1 Peter 5:7-11.

“Let us HOLD FAST the PROFESSION of our FAITH without wavering; (for He is FAITHFUL that promised;) . . . 35 Cast Not Away therefore your CONFIDENCE, which hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye have need of PATIENCE, that, after ye have done the WILL of God, ye might RECEIVE the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall LIVE by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who DRAW BACK unto PERDITION; but of them that BELIEVE to the SAVING of the soul” Hebrews 10:23, 35-39.
