To Avoid ERRORS And Being MISTAKEN: KNOW The SCRIPTURES For YOURSELF!

There’s nothing as dangerous as living in errors, being mistaken and taken up as PREY and become VICTIM to the ENEMY and COHORTS because of ignorance, stupidity, foolishness and vulnerability. Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 5:13-15.

There’s danger in not being properly informed in the KNOW-HOW and UNDER-STANDING of the context of a thing otherwise you exposed yourself to danger and become vulnerable to all manners of deceptions, adulteration, delusions, counterfeits, falsehoods and many such like that are out there – who are knowingly and unknowingly appearing as wolves in sheep’s clothing, like roaring lion and manifesting as angels of light when in reality are angels of darkness and others as Ministers of God while there are under the enclave of Satan and cohorts in camouflage to deceive the ignorant. Philippians 1:15-18; 1 Timothy 1:3-11; Jude 1:3-4; Matthew 7:15; 1 Peter 5:8-11; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.

It’s very imperative, for you to come to terms with the reality of the world to God’s word, if you must avoid ERRORS and being MISTAKEN – meaning, you need to INTENTIONALLY resolved to KNOW the SCRIPTURES for YOURSELF – in order to do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead with ease and comfort. That’s the place of honour and dignity and nobility as found in the Berea Believers of the Bible days of Acts 17:19-13.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” Acts 20:32.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (MISTAKEN), NOT KNOWING the SCRIPTURES, nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29.

“Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a CONTROVERSY with the inhabitants of the land, because there is NO TRUTH, nor MERCY, nor KNOWLEDGE of God in the land . . . 6 My PEOPLE are DESTROYED for LACK of KNOWLEDGE: because thou hast REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” Hosea 4:1, 6.

“Therefore my PEOPLE are gone into CAPTIVITY, because they have NO KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst . . . “ Isaiah 5:11-16.

“STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth NOT to be ASHAMED, rightly dividing the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15.

“But CONTINUE thou in the things which thou hast LEARNED and hast been ASSURED of, knowing of whom thou hast LEARNED them; 15 and that from a child thou hast KNOWN the holy scriptures, which are ABLE TO MAKE thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be PERFECT, throughly furnished unto all good works” 2 Timothy 3:14-17.

AVOID BEING MISTAKEN: READ TO KNOW THE SCRIPTURES TO AVOID BEING MISTAKEN AND BE FOUND IN AN ERRONEOUS CAPTIVITY!

“Till I come, GIVE ATTENDANCE TO READING, to exhortation, to doctrine” 1Timothy 4:13.

“. . . 2 And the Lord answered me, and said, WRITE the VISION, and make it PLAIN upon TABLES, that he may RUN that READETH it . . .” Habakkuk 2:1-4.

You are mistaken, walking in error and powerless because you simply RUN before you READ; hence READ first if you must RUN to achieve, succeed, triumph and such like more, in that purposeful visioned concept for meaningful result. For READING keeps you INFORMED. And INFORMED people makes INFORMED DECISIONS and not in a mere guesses or guessing decisions. And INFORMED DECISIONS makes INFORMED LIVING in LIFE and GODLINESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

READ BEFORE YOU RUN – DON’T PUT THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE.

Don’t blame others for your poor prescription order in the principle of doing life in Christ Jesus stead.

YOU ARE EITHER RESPONDING OR REACTING – KNOWLEDGE WILL MAKE ONE RESPOND TO LIFE MATTERS BY THE WORD WHILE IGNORANCE MAKES ONE REACT TO LIFE MATTERS BECAUSE THERE’S NO WORD.

And a NO WORD means a NO FAITH. For FAITH comes by the WORD – Romans 10:17. And by FAITH we do life with God to overcome in humanity. 1 John 5:4-5; Habakkuk 2:4 (Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38; Romans 1:17). And by not doing life by FAITH is Sin – Romans 14:23. And without doing life by FAITH it’s possible to PLEASE God – Hebrews 11:1-3, 6. Thus, it indicates why the knowledge and understanding of the WORD in every context application for WISDOM to be ascertain is imperative for you to succeed with God.

AVOID BEING MISTAKEN – READ TO KNOW THE SCRIPTURES TO AVOID BEING MISTAKEN AND BE FOUND IN AN ERRONEOUS CAPTIVITY.

SCRIPTURAL MEDITATION: To Be FREE From SCRIPTURAL ERRORS: GROW in GRACE!

There’s the NEED to GROW graciously in a DIDACTIC order of SCRIPTURAL KNOWLEDGE if you must be FREE from SCRIPTURAL ERRORS.

TWO OF MANY EXAMPLES ARE THESE:

** The caution and charge of Jesus to the Sadducees while on His earthly ministry in their Scripturally twist, errors and mistaken conclusions through ignorance, making them to NEVER experience the POWER of God. Matthew 22:29.

** And also of Apostle Peter who consciously caution and charge those followers of him in their twist, errors and mistaken intent and regards to Apostle Paul’s writings, which many have misconstrued in their UNDERSTANDING and INTERPRETATION. 2 Peter 3:14-18.

SCRIPTURAL CONTEXT WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“. . . 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, YE DO ERR, not KNOWING the SCRIPTURES, nor the power of God . . .” Matthew 22:23-33.

“So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be DILIGENT AND MAKE EVERY EFFORT to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him]. 15 And consider the patience of our Lord [His delay in judging and avenging wrongs] as salvation [that is, allowing time for more to be saved]; just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him [by God], 16 speaking about these things as he does in all of his letters. IN WHICH THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND, which the UNTAUGHT and UNSTABLE [who have fallen into error] TWIST and MISINTERPRET, JUST AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, TO THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION. 17 Therefore, [let me warn you] beloved, knowing these things beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the ERROR of unprincipled men [who distort doctrine] and fall from your own steadfastness [of mind, knowledge, truth, and faith], 18 but GROW [spiritually mature] in the grace and KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
