DO YOU DESIRE SOUND MIND: YOU CAN BECOME BY HOW AND WHAT YOU THINK!
You are a product of your thoughts and thinking processes. What you think defines you. And you are the custodian of your peace and happiness by your thoughts and thinking process in terms. And it’s irrespective too.
It’s not about what someone says to you, but how you choose to RESPOND by the WORD in meditation or REACT by the FLESH that gives you soundness.
It’s what you allow to feed through into you and how you process your thoughts by the way you think. You need to be intentional and pragmatic in not taking paracetamol on someone else’s aches if you desire a sound mind in your path of doing life and living godly by His grace.
SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:
“Do not eat the bread of a selfish man, Or desire his delicacies; 7 FOR AS HE THINKS IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE [in behavior—one who manipulates]. He says to you, “Eat and drink,” Yet his heart is not with you [but it is begrudging the cost]. 8. The morsel which you have eaten you will vomit up, and you will waste your compliments.” Proverbs 23:6-8 Amplified.
“Finally, believers, WHATEVER is true, WHATEVER is honorable and worthy of respect, WHATEVER is right and confirmed by God’s word, WHATEVER is pure and wholesome, WHATEVER is lovely and brings peace, WHATEVER is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, THINK continually on these things [center your MIND on them, and IMPLANT them in your heart]” Philippians 4:8 Amplified.
