The Good Fight Of Faith

November 30, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

The Good Fight Of Faith: Your FAITH Is Worth All The Fight!

When sometimes in life: You lose your job, your business close down; you have uncertainty in your relationship and marriage, your children or spouse quit from you; sickness and diseases afflicts you and your financial position gets worst and uncertain; your career or educational pursuits comes to a hurt and many more setback comes to play in your life. I wants you to know that it’s all about your ‘FAITH” that the enemy and cohorts are after and not the events and happening in your life.

The enemy knows, that if he can succeed in getting you off your ‘FAITH’, that’s your trust and dependence on God’s grace and absolute providence, he will not only ruin you but also all who God had orchestrated are to be blessed through you when you succeed in achieving God’s intended plans, purposes and pursuits in your life.

The enemy tried to destroy everything about Job but couldn’t crush his faith, and Job by his FIGHT for his FAITH was able to come back better of. He tried it on Christ, he lost eventually. And he can’t succeed with you except you let him be.

Today, rise up to FIGHT for the GOOD FIGHT of your FAITH in Christ, for your FAITH worth fighting for because your destiny and that of others depends on it; don’t just give up or backslide simply for a momentary lack, because I know you can and will come back better and best of in life and godliness than you were before you stand insured and assured of your FAITH in God’s unwavering ability and agility in you and through you.

Don’t sit back or stay aloof, because the enemy is envious of your worth and greatness, hence his intent. So, Fight! Fight!! and Fight!!! Don’t give up, or give in, I challenged you.

God’s grace and blessings. Have a blessed day!

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12).

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10).

“. . . 25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. . .” (Job 19)

“. . . And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. 12 So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning . . . 16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations. 17 So Job died, being old and full of days.” (Job 42)

Nevertheless: Launch Into The Deep For A Catch!

Nevertheless: Launch Into The Deep For A Catch!

No matter how much you’ve toiled in the last eleventh month, don’t give up. You may be at the verge of the eleventh hour to break forth into your miracles and breakthrough over all the mountains, valleys, crooked roads and rough places that have stood against you entering your destiny, also that might had defiled and define you by standing as obstacles to your path of fulfillment and excellence.

All you need to do is to take an extra walk of faith against all odds and launch into the deep, that is, away from the shallow of intimidation, failures, fear and mediocrity, because your hour of great catch is come.

And I proclaim in the name of Jesus, that as Peter and others believe the word, took a step of faith on the word by declaring nevertheless or in spite of their yesterday failures, you will get into your catch, whatsoever it is named, that your joy might be full in life and in the Lord, Amen! And my your abundance of catch enlarge you beyond bounds, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Read these scriptures and receive grace to your blessings:

“And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 and saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. 9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: 10 and so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. 11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.” (Luke 5:1-11).

BE HEALED – HEALTH & HEALING SCRIPTURES

November 24, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

BE HEALED – HEALTH & HEALING SCRIPTURES: MEDITATE & DECLARE IT – Be Well And Whole In Jesus Name, Amen!

Prayerfully and boldly declare your healing and health through the scriptures written for you. When you incline to God’s SAYINGS by faith, other SAYINGS becomes irrelevant and your miracle comes.

I pray that as you meditate make a declaration of FAITH upon these SCRIPTURES, that you be HEALED and WHOLE in Jesus’ name, Amen.

FAITHFUL IS HE THAT PROMISED.

“Let us HOLD FAST the PROFESSION (CONFESSION, DECLARATION) of our faith without WAVERING; (for he is FAITHFUL that promised)” Hebrews 10:23 (Emphasis Mine).

“That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED. 10 For with the HEART man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the mouth CONFESSION is MADE unto SALVATION (Health, Healing, Security, Deliverance, Victory, Triumph, Peace, Restoration, Reconciliation, etc)” Romans 10:9-10 (Emphasis Mine).

“He sent HIS WORD, and HEALED THEM, and DELIVERED THEM from their DESTRUCTIONS” (Psalms 107:20).

“Beloved, I wish ABOVE ALL THINGS that thou mayest prosper AND BE IN HEALTH, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2).

“And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; AND I WILL TAKE SICKNESS AWAY FROM THE MIDST OF THEE. 26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: THE NUMBER OF THY DAYS I WILL FULFIL” (Exodus 23:25-26).

“. . . If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: FOR I AM THE LORD THAT HEALETH THEE” (Exodus 15:26).

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES, AND BARE OUR SICKNESSES” (Matthew 8:17).

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED” (1 Peter 2:24).

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; AND WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED” (Isaiah 53:4-5).

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, AND HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH” (Proverbs 4:20-22).

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODIES by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8:11).

“And we KNOW that ALL THINGS work together for GOOD to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE” Romans 8:28.

In His Presence

November 20, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

In His Presence: Path To Life & Path of Life!

You can stop struggling and being bitter with yourself if you covet the acts of being in God’s presence. That’s being alone with God. You’ll discover and recover your path to life and path of life with God.

It’s a choice of life. That’s what Adam jeopardize in Eden which Jesus made possible in redemption. And the Psalmist king David discovered and recovered.

“And in the morning, long before daylight, He got up and went out to a deserted place, and there He prayed.” (Mark 1:35).

“So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. 6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.” (Hebrews 5:7-9).

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalms 16:11).

Excellence Is Pure

November 5, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

Excellence Is Pure – Envision It!

Sometimes when I hear some so called Gospel Ministers and Christian faith believers say this: ‘It doesn’t matter what they do God still loves them’, I begin to wonder what this life of grace has become in the 21st century.

Is it true that God still loves us in faith no matter what we do? Who then will question the unsaved and what right do we have then to preach the Gospel to the unsaved.

Know full well that God loves us, does not mean He does commend a life being lived outside His Word. As I have always said time and again that our God will only COMMEND what He COMMAND and ORDERED. All things excellent will work for the good of those who not only love God BUT walk and do according to the course of His Word – Purpose.

Many times, God’s purposes of excellence to us, is so clear before us, but we need to walk and work in the course of that envisioned covenant of His grace; and if one begin to do any act of life outside His Word, we will surely loose out in our place of grace to excel. Apostle Paul says this in Galatians 2:21 ” I do not FRUSTRATE the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain”. Meaning I do not do things that will make the grace of inoperative and ineffective in my life.

Living example of frustrating grace is as this: That’s what happened to Reuben the first born of Jacob. Though born for envisioned excellent, he lost his place of blessedness to excel to his younger brother Joseph, for sleeping with one of His father’s wives. You can’t eat your cake and have it. Grace for excellence is not cheap or not to be taken for granted and done with despite as Hebrews 10:29 warns and enjoins:

“of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done DESPITE unto the Spirit of grace?”

When you look through the heroes of Faith in Patriarchal order of Hebrews chapter eleven, you will notice after Jacob comes Joseph instead of Reuben though he was his father’s excellency of dignity. That’s why you must be on guard on your envisioned excellence.

EXCELLENCE IS PURE! So, if you crave to have God’s good and best, watch your path of life to the envisioned excellence.

“And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. 3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: 4 unstable as water, thou shalt not EXCEL; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch” (Genesis 49:1-4).

“. . . By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. . .” (Hebrews 11:20-22).

November 2014: Envision Before Embarking On Any Mission!

November 4, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

November 2014: Envision Before Embarking On Any Mission!

God’s plans and intents for us is always for the good and best anytime, anywhere, anyhow and anyway.

Many times we’ve failed in our mission to excel in life because our mission has not got a clear cut vision from the start and sometimes through the course of that mission we’ve embarked on.

Where there’s no envision before a mission is embarked on, not only that people perish, other resource in used for that mission, such as – material, finance, time and effort are also wasted; consequently, the expected intent damaged.

The horse, that is, resource for mission needs to be prepared with a clear cut vision before that mission is embarked on in order to be fulfilled and have an excellent result at the end of the day.

This is applicable to any phase in life – for example, a Student needs to envision what course to study before sourcing the books to enhance such career, otherwise, the diligent effort to study will be a waste at the end of the day. That’s why it’s wrong to leave your house to the shopping centre aimlessly with the only £10 you have, which supposedly you need to have used to buy few ingredients to prepare a soup for your lovely kids, only end up buying T-Shirt you don’t really need, returning home to meet hungry kids awaiting food on the table.

‘ENVISION BEFORE EMBARKING ON ANY MISSION’

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” (Proverbs 29:18).

“The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord” (Proverbs 21:31).

“. . . How can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.” (Matthew 12:29).

“And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.” (Colossians 4:17).

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11).

November 2014: Choose To Envision Your Turnaround!

November 3, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

November 2014: Choose To Envision Your Turnaround!

God made the rich and the poor person, but God did not made them so. People become what they are and not who they are by the choices they made or they allowed to be made for them.

If for example you chose to be corrupt or elect a corrupt leader or government to be in governance, you will live by the consequences of it. This is not who you are but what you allowed, and this is of choice and not the makings of God. God will only commend what He commands.

“The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them. 9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 10 The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed” (1 Samuel 2:7-10).

November 2014: When You Envision The Wagon

November 3, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

November 2014: When You Envision The Wagon, You Will Be Revived!

There’s no one who despises any healthy opportunity to rise above the norm. I am yet to find one. Let me know where I am wrong I’ll humbly submit to corrections.

When Jacob was pressured by the need to go to Egypt and see Joseph by his sons, the brothers of Joseph, being that Joseph was alive, he never believed them. But when he SAW the WAGON with the goodness and goodies accompanying it, his weakened spirit-being was revived, that is, came alive.

If you can give room to envision God’s plans-Purposes-Pursuits in your life, the wagon and associates to keep your faith and total being alive will come along. This I know and understands very well. In fact, your prayer life and faith life will change for good and the best.

The Wagons and goodies that Jacob saw to keep him alive and to make him take the next step or leap of faith to see Joseph is far, far better in life positions to be in; than to stay still in poverty and lack due to no act to see or envision the need to become well and whole again. I don’t mean day dreaming imaginations. Envisioning by the WORD.

“And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father, 26 and told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob’s heart fainted, for he believed them not. 27 And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he SAW the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived: 28 and Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.” (Genesis 45:25-28).

NOVEMBER 2014: Envision To Be The Best?

November 2, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

NOVEMBER 2014: Envision To Be The Best? Then Work And Walk At It – It’s God’s Expectations From You!

Are you a Brick Layer, Painter, Cook, Tailor, Fashion designer, Decorator, Singer, Musician, Pastor, Student, Politician, Entrepreneur, Banker, Lawyer, Civil Servant, Leader of any sorts and such like. What is your worth of services to humanity that you are excelling for. What do you see you be to you and mankind. As far as you can see, that is, to envision, so can you be in the kingdom (Genesis 13:14-18).

In the kingdom, you are as good as to what you envision and determine to excel in it, for the good of mankind. It’s not enough to say I am of this career or profession or calling. How good are you becoming in it to be the best for the good of people beyond self-centered and self gains.

It’s not in the good of the Christian faith that any should think that they can acclaimed to a field of life when and while they are poorly providing services to people and they think they can get aware with it. For example if one say, I am a painter just for the money to earn and not necessary to provide good and best services to people, such can’t become in the kingdom no matter how hard you work your socks off. It’s for this reason for gain above good services that they are many people struggling in the Faith. God will only reward faithful stewardship to His WORD – 1 Corinthians 4:1-2. For GAIN is not GODLINESS – good living – 1 Timothy 6:5-6.

God wants us to excel in life, that is, to provide services to humanity with all diligence and prudence, orderly and decently. You can only be able to acclaim to excel and reign in life in this act of God if you can envision it. ENVISION TO REIGN, REIGN THROUGH EXCELLENCY.

As long as you see men as trees, and not as men, you will hardly bother to be the best in that field. It’s not enough to work to earn a living, envision to see that you provide the services that will have eternal and human effect in men because you are in partnership with God.

I earnestly pray that you will envision to reign in life excellently as you partner with God in the kingdom through the months and years as long as you live, in Jesus name. Amen.

“Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what SEEST thou? And I said, I SEE a rod of an almond tree. 12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well SEEN: for I will HASTEN my WORD to PERFORM it.” (Jeremiah 1:11-12)

“And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. 24 And he looked up, and said, I SEE men as trees, walking. 25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and SAW every man clearly. 26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town” (Mark 8:22-26).

“Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.” (1 Corinthians 14:12).

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall REIGN in life by one, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17).

NOVEMBER 2014: Envision!

November 2, 2014 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

NOVEMBER 2014: Envision!

To envision is not about seeing visions, but the ability to perceive possibilities in the light of God’s word to enhance all about God’s plans, purposes and pursuits in life through you. That you can be whatsoever God has visioned you to become in His Word and excel in it for the good of self, humanity and the kingdom of God.

“Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. 12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1:11-12).
