BECOMING GOD’S BATTLE AXE & WEAPONS OF WAR: YOU NEED TO GARRISON YOUR HEART AND YOUR MOUTH! 

“GUARD [GARRISON] your HEART more than anything else, because the SOURCE of your life FLOWS [SPRINGS] from it” Proverbs 4:23/GWT. 

“Let the WORDS OF MY MOUTH, and the MEDITATION OF MY HEART, be ACCEPTABLE in thy sight, O Lord, my STRENGTH, and my REDEEMER” Psalms 19:14. 

As God’s Battle Axe you need to process your heart THOUGHT before speaking FORTH with your MOUTH. For your HEART THOUGHTS and MOUTH SPOKEN WORD will make and define you. You are the CUSTODIAN of your today and tomorrow happiness, by your HEART – THOUGHTS and MOUTH – SPOKEN WORD. Think healthily and speak well, in order to live healthily and wholesomely, accordingly. 

Hence, there is the need to PROCESS Your THOUGHT Before SPEAKING Forth. You BECOME what you ARE by your THOUGHTS and the WORD of your MOUTH.

“GUARD (GARRISON) your HEART more than anything else, because the SOURCE of your life FLOWS (SPRINGS) from it” Proverbs 4:23 (GWT). 

“Let the WORDS OF MY MOUTH, and the MEDITATION OF MY HEART, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer” Psalms 19:14. 

“Either MAKE the tree good, and his fruit good; or else MAKE the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is KNOWN by his fruit. 34. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? “FOR AS HE THINKETH IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee” Proverbs 23:7. 

“Therefore thus saith the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: AND IF THOU TAKE FORTH THE PRECIOUS FROM THE VILE, THOU SHALT BE AS MY MOUTH: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them” Jeremiah 15:19.

BEING CHRIST’S AMBASSADOR IN LOVE

BEING CHRIST’S AMBASSADOR IN LOVE: FOR YOU ARE GOD’S EMBASSY! 

“Now then we ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God” 2 Corinthians 5:20. 

Whoever you are that’s reading this now, by the virtue of you being reborn of God in Christ Jesus stead, you ARE, [AND NOT WILL BE], Christ’s AMBASSADOR otherwise AN AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST in the grace. And the mandate to showcase GOD’S LOVE in Christ Jesus is in you as a default, knowingly or unknowingly. And you ARE not just God’s Diplomat only, but God’s EMBASSY, His EARTHLY residence, dwelling place, for you ARE the TEMPLE [TABERNACLE] of the Holy Spirit, God’s dwelling place in Christ Jesus stead [1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18]; and you ARE God’s shining City at the Hill top that outshines all darkness and through whom all in darkness might locate God’s love, with assured hope, to receive the light and enlightenment that God’s love gives to all in darkness, from the light of love that’s in you, in Christ Jesus stead [Matthew 5:14-16]. For you are a living EPISTLE, manifestly endowed with God’s love and grace, for God’s WORD dwells richly in you. THE WORD that’s in you gives you the illumination and enlightenment to outshine all darkness and the dark activities of the enemy and his cohorts. 

“Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2 Ye ARE our EPISTLE written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 forasmuch as ye are MANIFESTLY declared to be THE EPISTLE of Christ MINISTERED by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart” 2 Corinthians 3:1-3.                          

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. 4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the LIGHT SHINETH in DARKNESS; and the DARKNESS COMPREHENDED it not” John 1:1-5. 

And being Christ’s Ambassador in love, indicates you are the living WITNESS and EPISTLES being seen and read of all men, to transmit the genuine LOVE of Christ Jesus, that SURPASSES and TRANSCENDS all reasoning for the good and goodness of all. And being an Ambassador of the love of God guarantees you to be filled with the fulness of God, in doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead. 

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE, 18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 and to KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, which PASSETH [SURPASSES, TRANSCENDS] KNOWLEDGE, that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19. 

You ARE God’s Diplomat, Don’t be MISTAKEN or be ERRONEOUS as Adam-Eve. You ARE the reason why the earth was created and made; and you ARE blessed and to be a blessing in it [Isaiah 45:11-13; Psalms 8:4-8; Psalms 116:6; Genesis 12:1-3; Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14]. You ARE representing the heavens on the earthly affairs, and it’s your highest calling, and must be maximised while you are having the opportunity [1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11-12]. It’s up to you if you want to be a genuine ambassador for Christ Jesus in promoting God’s genuinely and unadulterated love, or you want to be that wicked ambassador who is prone to be unfaithful, unscriptural, adulterated and counterfeits camouflage as God’s love in Christ Jesus. 

“A WICKED MESSENGER falleth into mischief: but a FAITHFUL AMBASSADOR is HEALTH” Proverbs 13:17. 

God’s intent is that through you, His embassy and city of light, shall true love be lavishly shed abroad [beyond walls] and without sentiments, prejudice, dissimulation [John 13:34-35; John 15:12-14; Romans 5:5-8], just as true prosperity be spread abroad [Psalms 35:27; Zechariah 1:17; Joshua 1:8]. And when you take your glorious high throne place of grace unselfishly in Christ love, others will be blessed [Jeremiah 17:12. Therefore, it’s time to ARISE, let it be for the good of others as being Christ’s ambassador of love to humanity. And the journey starts now from where you are into the ends of the earth as true witness of God’s love in Christ Jesus [Acts 1:8]. 

For you ARE God’s Diplomat, maximise it as being Christ’s ambassador in love, as you do life and live godly. 

Be blessed in the grace to love in Christ Jesus.

“A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary” Jeremiah 17:12. 

“Ye are the light of the world. YOUR PREPAREDNESS DEFINES YOUR CAPACITY TO LOVE

YOUR PREPAREDNESS DEFINES YOUR CAPACITY TO LOVE: BE INTENTIONAL TO LOVE BY GOD’S LOVE!  

“But in your hearts REVERE Christ as Lord. Always be PREPARED to give an ANSWER to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with GENTLENESS and RESPECT” 1 Peter 3:15/NIV. 

Imagine getting married and getting into a relationship of any kind without knowing of God’s Love in Christ Jesus stead for yourself. And if I may ask, how many scriptural faith-based books have you read for yourself in respect to knowledge and understanding of God’s LOVE to help you navigate any form of relationships you may want to embark upon or you are already involved with at this very moment. It’s high time we looked inward and took Biblical mirror to examine such relationships and see if they’re being built on God’s love. GOD CAN ONLY COMMEND WHAT HE COMMISSION [COMMAND] IN HIS LOVE. Hence there’s the need to LOVE the WORD of GOD through God’s love in the grace [1 John 5 :3]. And you can’t drink your own medicine of assumed love and ask God to take responsibility and accountability for your making and happening, without taking any sense of repentance and assurance by you, to address your state of being, and for you to move in an onward and upward trajectory in making an intentional decision to pursue God’s love definition for good and goodness in the grace. JUST THINK ABOUT IT NOW. 

“But you must continue in the things which you have LEARNED and been ASSURED of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the HOLY SCRIPTURES , which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All SCRIPTURE is given by INSPIRATION of God, and is PROFITABLE for DOCTRINE, for REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for INSTRUCTION in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be COMPLETE, thoroughly EQUIPPED for every GOOD work” 2 Timothy 3:14-17. 

“But be DOERS of the WORD, and not HEARERS only, DECEIVING yourselves. [23] For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a MIRROR; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who LOOKS into the PERFECT law of LIBERTY and CONTINUES in it, and is not a FORGETFUL hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be blessed6 in what he DOES” James 1:22-25/NKJV. 

Your Spiritual PREPAREDNESS to a divinely REVEALED cause is the principal path to enable you have an ANSWER to any QUEST you may want to embark upon in the journey of God’s love. And to help you navigate your relationship no matter what may, and the need to be intentional and armed gracious hearts as Jesus did as you don’t know what each day may bring and what each relationship may throw on you in respect: your spouse in marriage, family members, work colleagues, friends or strangers at work places of doing life and even in churches of worship and such like though not mentioned here. 

“And in the morning, LONG BEFORE DAYLIGHT, He got up and went out to a DESERTED [SOLITARY] place, and there He PRAYED “ Mark 1:35/Amplified Classic Edition. 

“So all bore WITNESS to Him, and MARVELED at the GRACIOUS WORDS which PROCEEDED out of His MOUTH. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?” Luke 4:22. 

For being informed is to help you make your own informed decisions without sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation. Be PREPARED to be intentional to SEARCH and STUDY the SCRIPTURES as you do PRAYERS to energise and synergies your being in the grace. For God’s love is firstly godly, meaning it’s spiritual, that’s why it can’t be limited by any earthly factor. And God’s love is not limited by your geography and colour and religion. 

“John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who LOVED US and WASHED US from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has MADE US kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:4-6 [Revelation 5:9-10; Galatians 3:26-29] 

“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and SEARCHED the SCRIPTURES daily to find out whether these things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men” Acts 17:10-12. 

When God’s love is actively alive in you, know that you can’t just suddenly stop loving because of friction with whosoever, because God’s love makes all friction good, meaning makes all things to work together for good. If you’ve stopped loving for any reason, it means you never had God’s love as a DEFAULT in the first place. Do yourself a favour before you hurt someone else: take a hard look within and conduct a spiritual self-evaluation and examination – it’s worth it. You can make a fresh start today. 

“And we KNOW that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to those who LOVE God, to those who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE” Romans 8:28/NKJV.  

You can’t offer what you don’t have, meaning what you have no knowledge and understand about; you will struggle to fully comprehend it to meet the quest of yours and other human hearts. If you lack the knowledge of God’s love in Christ Jesus stead, you will offer nothing, but derivatives love that’s built on the noise about you and you will be shallowed in your walk in God’s love in the grace. You need to crave earnestly to study to know the God kind of love that transcends and surpasses the five senses [see, hear, feel, smell and taste] definition of love. 

“That Christ may dwell in your HEARTS [SPIRIT-BEING] through faith; that you, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE ve, 18 may be able to COMPREHEND with all the saints what is the WIDTH and LENGTH and DEPTH and HEIGHT — 19 TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST which PASSES [TRANSCENDS, SURPASSES] KNOWLEDGE [HUMAN SENSES]; that you may be FILLED with all the FULLNESS of God” Ephesians 3 :17-19 NKJV.  

You need to study to know the love of God in Christ Jesus stead; and then in understanding the depth, the width, the height and breath, you can be grounded and rooted to do life and live godly in the grace by the Holy Spirit of love that’s given to us to explore and express God’s love intentionally. 

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED [LAVISHED] out in our HEARTS [SPIRIT-BEING] by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us” Romans 5:5. 

It is how much you are genuinely informed of God’s love that you can carry to fellowship and relate to others of your God’s love in Christ Jesus stead. 

Therefore I say TO you, get to KNOW, take time to own a study, then study to KNOW and UNDERSTAND on the materials available to YOU of love, through the Holy writ, otherwise the Holy Bible, in order to authenticate the truth of God’s love in Christ Jesus stead. You will be amazed how much you can literally know that will influence your perspective, context, concept and more, of God’s love embedded you in the grace when you approach the WORD in love as TRUTH. [1 John 5:3].  

For it’s the TRUTH that you know and understand of God’s love that sets you free and gives you the enabling to express the genuine LOVE thereabouts in life and grace [John 8:30-32; John 14:6]; know today that it’s not the religion you’ve imbibed or the culture and traditions you are exposed with or the environment or tongue or religiosity you’ve fallen to, that gives you the definition and true meaning of love. For God is LOVE, and there’s no controversy before or now or will ever be. Your opinion is irrelevant to who God is in the matter of love. [1 John 4:8, 16; 1 Timothy 3:16]. 

BE BLESSED in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“STUDY and do your best to PRESENT yourself to God APPROVED, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ASHAMED, ACCURATELY handling and SKILLFULLY teaching the WORD of TRUTH” 2 Timothy 2:15/Amplified Classic Edition.  

“The horse is PREPARED for the day of battle, But DELIVERANCE and VICTORY belong to the Lord” Proverbs 21:31/Amplified. 

“The PREPARATIONS of the heart belong to man, But the ANSWER of the tongue is from the Lord. 2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits. 3. COMMIT your works to the Lord, And your THOUGHTS will be ESTABLISHED …. 9 A man’s heart PLANS his way, But the Lord DIRECTS [ESTABLISHES] his STEPS” Proverbs 16:1-2, 9/NKJV.

THE FAITH THAT WORKS

THE FAITH THAT WORKS: IT’S ONLY EXPRESSED BY ABIDING IN GOD’S LOVE THROUGH HIS WORD! 

Do you want your Faith in God to be activated, expressed and working for your good in every way and everywhere daily? The ‘FAITH THAT WORKS’ is only functional, effectual and productive as it ABIDES in God’s Love in Christ Jesus. And ABIDING in God’s LOVE in Christ Jesus, is in ABIDING and ABOUNDING in THE WORD! 

Have you ever wondered what it means to listen when someone says, ‘I’m in LOVE,’ while their personal life isn’t ABIDING and ABOUNDING in THE WORD? 

I am not sure you need an engineering degree or background to know that driving a keyless or a keying vehicle requires obeying the principles or rules by the manufacturer of such vehicle if you must enjoy and pleasure in it and stay safe within the warranty or and in the guarantee of a safe drive as in many other science of life. 

In the same scenario for one to enjoy the unlimited warranty of grace in abounding Love, you MUST as a matter of principle ABIDE in the WORD. That’s what the MANUFACTURER of the human life demands. It makes one’s Faith Works with ease and grace. 

Genuine LOVE is not cheap and it’s of the Holy Spirit in human spirit. Faith on His WORD to enhance and engraft His LOVE in your being, ensures you a winner any day and anywhere. 

Do you want a healthy and continuous flow of God’s LOVE with His unlimited, assured and insured warranty or guarantee? Then stay on and ABIDE in the WORD. This will cause your FAITH to Work for your good I earnestly assure and guarantee you in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“If ye ABIDE in me, and my WORDS abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so, shall ye be my disciples. 9. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall ABIDE in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and ABIDE in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your JOY MIGHT BE FULL” (John 15:7-11) 

“For this is the LOVE of God, that we KEEP his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous (Burdensome, irksome, taskmaster)” 1 John 5:3 (Emphasis Mine).

GOD’S LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD: THE MOMENT-DRIVEN LOVE-BASED Vs THE PURPOSE-DRIVEN LOVE-BASED PERSONALITIES! 

“Now before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that His hour had come [and it was time] for Him to leave this world and return to the Father. Having [greatly] LOVED His OWN who were in the world, He LOVED them [and CONTINUOUSLY LOVES them with His PERFECT LOVE] to the END (eternally) . . . 34 I am giving you a NEW COMMANDMENT, that you LOVE ONE ANOTHER. Just as I have LOVED you, so you too are to LOVE one another. 35. By this everyone will know that you ARE My DISCIPLES, if you have LOVE and UNSELFISH concern for one another” John 13:1, 34-35/Amplified. 

We live today in a world where LOVE is tested daily, and people are becoming impatient with each other in many aspects of life and respect. Every relationship is being tested daily by the circumstances of life, and many in some cases can’t even give a chance for the other to process or let even process refine, refresh, rejuvenate and rekindle that relationship; it’s so bad in some cases that what they once believed and trusted to becoming that was substantial for greatness and goodness and happiness, is now let into the dish without a sense of remorse. 

You can x-ray and see pains and hurts in business partnership or marital relationship or even friendship, that lots of once a love integration are falling apart in such measures that the level of hatred, anger, wrath, bitterness and such like that’s been exhibited and following the fallout will make you wonder if there was  anything worthwhile at all in the beginning. But when you dissect and spiritually x-ray by the word through the Holy Spirit, you notice gracious signals but because of the lack of understanding of purpose and process by either or both parties, it has given rise to bringing down the house, irrespective. 

And while the enemy and cohorts celebrate over the happened and happenings, the individuals are at depressed state of being, questioning the other person genuine faith and love instead of looking within the mirror of God’s Word and God’s love in Christ Jesus stead that ought to have helped them, but it wasn’t given the chance to make the respective become in their supposed becoming in the grace as set for them.  

“LOVE is to be SINCERE and ACTIVE [the real thing—without GUILE and HYPOCRISY (SENTIMENTS, DISSIMULATION)]. Hate what is evil [detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness]; hold on tightly to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another with [authentic] BROTHERLY affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor; 11 never lagging behind in DILIGENCE; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord” Romans 12:9-11/Amplified. 

“The Moment-driven Love-based” personality is the one who is timed-based Believer’s in Christ Jesus; that’s the one that’s consumed to always have an immediate answer and nothing else. And when something isn’t working for their only desired immediate results, he/she will start looking for an alternative solution or escape route from the bonds that’s been established and requires a process to be matured for stability. As such one can’t build anything with such a person. Such a person hates process. Such person does not want to cultivate and wait for the results through preparation, tilling, cultivating, and harvesting. It’s all about immediate results and nothing else. Such a person is always in a haste and when there’s nothing for them at their desired moment, they will shut off the other and shut down whatever obligations they are committed to and break all rules to achieve their wants of trinity: I, ME, MYSELF only. 

“He who CULTIVATES his land will have plenty of bread, But he who follows worthless people and frivolous pursuits will have plenty of poverty. 20 A faithful (right-minded) man will abound with blessings, but he who HURRIES to be rich WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED [THE RESULT OF BREAKING THE LAW]. 21 To have regard for one person over another and to show favoritism is not good, because for a PIECE OF BREAD A MAN WILL TRANSGRESS. 22 He who has an EVIL and ENVIOUS eye HURRIES to be rich And does not know that poverty will come upon him” Proverbs 28:19-22/Amplified/Emphasis Mine. 

Unlike the “The Moment-driven Love-based” personality, “The Purpose-driven Love-based” personality is all out for longevity, willingness to walk and work through patience and give the processes time with all the needed environmental cultures to nature and nurture until the desired essence begins to materialise “The Purpose-driven Love-based” person will not get into short cuts or scam or fraud to get to the end results, because it’s intentional, pragmatic, resolved, knowing that to achieve that desired greatness and heights, it’s at a cost which is worthwhile the processing to get there. Such a Believer believed strongly that the PROCESS defines the outcome and not the outcome that defines its wholeness as the “The Moment-driven Love-based”. 

The Purpose-driven Love-based” personality it’s the act of faith standing in the grace, on the God’s love in Christ Jesus stead, as themed for Month February to be our onward and upward trajectory in the grace. For its written in the Holy writ, that at the fulness of God’s process timeline for human redemption, Christ Jesus came into reality to fulfill purpose accordingly. It wasn’t an automatic quick fix microwave making for our redemption to become a reality as written. For through faith and patience, built on diligence, that’s how a godly result for a lasting effect is made possible in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. And it’s now time to restructure your faith in God’s love in Christ Jesus to be “The Purpose-driven Love-based”. 

“. . . 4 but when the FULNESS OF THE TIME was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 to REDEEM them that were under the law, that we might Receive the adoption of sons” Galatians 4:1-55. 

“But, beloved, we are PERSUADED better things of you, and things that ACCOMPANY SALVATION, though we thus speak. 10 For God is not UNRIGHTEOUS [UNFAITHFUL, UNGRATEFUL] to forget your WORK and LABOUR OF LOVE, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 that ye be NOT SLOTHFUL, but followers of them who through FAITH and PATIENCE INHERIT the PROMISES” Hebrews 6:9-12. 

When you take time to read the book of Isaiah 9:6-7 and Isaiah 7:14, you will see and understand how God’s purpose and intent were planned for human redemption. His plan was for a Child to be BORN and to process that Child to become a Son, then to be GIVEN otherwise MADE ready, therein to die the sacrificial worthy death, that’s worthwhile for mankind redemption, in respects of the sin and sin effects. It took years of prophetic process for the Father’s LOVE for us to come to fruition, and yet it did, and today we celebrate daily His love that was at a cost.  

“For unto us a CHILD IS BORN, unto us A SON IS GIVEN: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7. Of the increase of his government and peace, there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” Isaiah 9:6-7. 

“Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a SON, and shall call his name Immanuel” Isaiah 7:14. 

“For God so LOVED the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” John 3:16-18. 

And God’s driven purposeful love is empowered by the Holy Spirit of love that’s given to us to do life and live godly in Him in Christ Jesus stead. This is to indicate that a believer in God in Christ Jesus is inexcusable for living and being a personality that’s Moment-driven Love-based in terms, instead of being a personality that’s Purpose-driven Love-based in terms as God did in Christ Jesus to extend His loving fellowship to us to enhance our relationship with Him. 

“If ye LOVE me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; 17 even the Spirit of TRUTH; whom the WORLD CANNOT receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:15-17. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is SHED abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . . . 8 But God COMMENDETH HIS LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet SINNERS, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8. 

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE” Romans 8:28. 

“In Him also we have RECEIVED an INHERITANCE [a destiny—we were claimed by God as His own], having been predestined (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the PURPOSE of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will” Ephesians 1:11/Amplified. 

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things, yea, the DEEP THINGS of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. 

Unfortunately today, in many acts of Marriages [marital relationships] or Business partnerships, Ministerial relationships and Other relationships of all sorts today, people are in real life confrontation and are cut ups with mixed partnerships, wherein one person comes into the marital/relationship by a “Moment-driven Love-based” terms while the other comes with a “Purpose-driven Love-based” concept. And in a twinkling of time, there’s already a dissolution, a very big rift and drift by one while the other is willing to patiently work things through the process in order to blend and together gets to the expected results; and while one is not prepared to give that relationship a chance to stand, the other is doing all possible means for them to weather through the challenges times in order to become the becoming in terms. And except there’s a mutual understanding, it becomes impossible to get a headway to achieve the God’s LOVE in Christ Jesus stead as it’s written: 

“Can TWO WALK TOGETHER, except they be AGREED? 4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?” Amos 3:3-4. 

Beloved in Christ Jesus that’s desiring to live by God’s Love in Christ Jesus, it’s important today that you think through with your partner in any forms of relationships you are into or about to embark into, if the he/she is of a “Purpose-driven Love-based” personality or the he/she is of a “Moment-driven Love-based” personality in terms. The earlier you resolve, then you can begin to run in your set purpose in the grace, otherwise, not reading the handwriting on the wall with utmost knowledge and understanding before running, will give the room to failure on the long run and it’s side effects may be very difficult to bear along with in time. 

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2 And the LORD answered me, and said, WRITE THE VISION, and MAKE IT PLAIN UPON TABLES, that HE MAY RUN THAT READETH IT. 3 For the VISION IS YET FOR AN APPOINTED TIME, but AT THE END IT SHALL SPEAK, and NOT LIE: THOUGH IT TARRY, WAIT FOR IT; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: BUT THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH” Habakkuk 2:1-4. 

Let God’s purpose driven love rule your being today by the Holy Spirit, so that you can become, and in becoming you can be fulfilled in doing life and living godly in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

Be a Purpose-driven, Love-based Believer, in Christ Jesus, no matter the process to becoming, for therein you can receive the blessedness of God in grace and be fulfilled in life and godly living. 

Be blessed in the grace. Amen.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE , 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the WIDTH and LENGTH and DEPTH and HEIGHT — 19 to KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST which passes knowledge; that you may be FILLED with all the FULLNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19/NKJV. 

“A new commandment I give to you, that you LOVE one another; as I have LOVED you, that you also LOVE one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have LOVE for one another” John 13:34-35.

GOD’S BATTLE AXE: The BATTLE of The MIND!

GOD’S BATTLE AXE: The BATTLE of The MIND! – Mark 5:1-20. 

“For God DID NOT GIVE us a spirit of TIMIDITY [of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning FEAR], but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of LOVE and of CALM and WELL-BALANCED MIND and DISCIPLINE and SELF-CONTROL” 2 Timothy 1:7/Amplified. 

Knowingly or unknowingly, there’s a battle and warfare that is ongoing in our minds twenty-four-seven. Unfortunately, the Church has sat on SPIRITUAL WARFARE for so long that we have lost a major BATTLE which I called – MENTAL WARFARE. 

For its ones PICTURE that determines ones FUTURE. It is what you picture in the spirit of your MIND that determines what awaits you in the future. And the vitality for SOUND MIND can NEVER be over-emphasised at all. 

This is simply for these: 

  • Your mind is certainly a gateway to your life, for every event of your life is determined in the mind. 
  • Every captive is first arrested in the mind. And your Liberty (freedom) is established or lost in the MIND. 
  • Your mind is the controller of your destiny. Until you are able to keep your mind under control, your life is out of control. 
  • As terrible as sin is, Jesus established that sin begins with a seed of thought (Matthew 5:27-30). All the devil does is to sell the thought. When you buy the thought, you become a victim of the act. 
  • Nobody succeeds by chance; success begins with a thought. Nobody prospers just by effort. Every act of prosperity and advancement in life has its source in the hearted mind. 
  • Until you begin to think differently things will not be different. Every GRACIOUS imagination establishes you, but every human philosophy that one falls for, makes a captive of you. YOU ARE A PRODUCT OF YOUR THOUGHT LIFE. For as you THINK, so you BECOME. 
  • Every EVIL that came upon Job began with his imagination of it (Job 3:25). Every EVIL IMAGINATION is an express access for EVIL. 
  • Right living begins with right thinking. Great living begins with great thinking and great success begins with great success thought. Hence, you don’t reply THOUGHTS with THOUGHTS but with WORDS. 

FINALLY – Foreknowing the above and such likes, one can say that – until your mentality is corrected, your destiny is not secured. Satan has no access to your spirit, knowing it is in relationship and fellowship with the Father God; but he has access to your mind. It is the gateway to your life. Therefore, give no place to the devil or else he will give you a direction. 

You are GOD’S BATTLE AXE AND WEAPON OF WAR, do something – RENEWING the spirit of your mind by the WORD to remain SOUND-MINDED. That is the HOW to BATTLE in your MIND. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the RENEWING of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God“ Romans 12:2. 

“And be RENEWED in the spirit of your MIND” Ephesians 4:23. 

“For God hath not given us the spirit of FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a SOUND MIND“ 2 Timothy 1:7. 

“For as he THINKS in his heart, so is he [in behavior—one who manipulates]. He says to you, “Eat and drink,” Yet his heart is not with you [but it is begrudging the cost]” Proverbs 23:7. 

“For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the WEAPONS of man. 4 The WEAPONS of our WARFARE are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking EVERY THOUGHT and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, 6 being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (Amplified).

MONTH FEBRUARY – TRIUMPHING BY LOVE: THE LOVE THAT GIVES AND SERVES! 

“For God so LOVED the world, that he GAVE his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” John 3:16-18. 

Our God is LOVE. He’s LOVE in definition, which indicates, you can’t talk of LOVE outside the person who is LOVE personified and had lavishly showed His love to us by the Holy Spirit that He had given to us by virtue of our redemption in Christ Jesus. Amen. [1 John 4:8,16; Romans 5:5, 8; John 14:16-17; John 3:16]. 

When I heard decades ago, the Gospel of Christ that brought about my salvation in God, in Christ Jesus, in redemption, the first thing that crossed my mind then and now, by the Gospel I heard was this – that God LOVES me. That sticks and have never gone off me for any reason or matters irrespective of the ups and downs in the onward and upward trajectory of the Christian walk of faith in Christ Jesus. 

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; BUT FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE . . . 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, BUT BY LOVE SERVE ONE ANOTHER” Galatians 5:6, 13. 

And more so, to know that God in His terms to ensure and authenticate the love, He GAVE up Christ Jesus for my salvation in redemption, that I might be able to be JUSTIFIED and QUALIFIED, to receive the needed FREEDOM – LIBERTY, from the grips and bandages of SIN and its effects which are: POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH; the freedom – liberty, from which I was denied because of the subjugates rule of the devil and cohorts, that makes me then, to be without God in this world. [Ephesians 2:1-22]. 

Reflecting now and then that the simple Gospel I heard to get saved by God in Christ Jesus, thus indicates that God LOVES me and GAVE up Jesus Christ for my salvation in redemption; and this knowing and understanding, have left a lasting effects on my life for over 50yrs plus by God’s enabling grace. Then and now and always, I know that genuinely pure love of God means a GIVING love, and not a love that goes demanding for the love in order to do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead. And it thus means that one can’t live the genuinely pure love life in grace and godliness, beyond the knowledge and understanding you know and have received of God in Christ Jesus on His personified nature of LOVE as He is LOVE. 

“And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles EXERCISE LORDSHIP OVER THEM, and those who EXERCISE AUTHORITY OVER THEM are called ‘BENEFACTORS.’ 26 But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is GREATEST among you, let him be as the YOUNGER, and he who GOVERNS as he who SERVES. 27 For who is GREATER, he who sits at the TABLE, or he who SERVES? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am AMONG YOU as the One who SERVES” Luke 22:25-27/NKJV [Matthew 20:25-28; Mark 10:35-45]. 

And when I began to embark on the journey to grow in grace and in the knowledge of God through Christ Jesus (2 Peter 3:18), and for me to personally personify the knowing of Him as my Saviour and Lord – Jesus Christ, and to make Him known by same mutual knowledge and understanding, I then discovered that His entire coming to take the humanity nature [Hebrews 2:14-15; 1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:14], to work out my salvation in my redemption and yours and for all mankind, was simply through this – to SERVE – through the passionate acts of LOVE which He lives and demonstrated for us all to follow after Him. [John 13:1-17, 34-35; Luke 22:25-27 (Matthew 20:25-28; Mark 10:35-45); John 15:9-16]. And to do this act of our redemption, the scripture says; He LOVED us. Meaning, He didn’t serve outside love to REDEEM us, He LOVED us as written: 

“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the FAITHFUL witness, and THE FIRST BEGOTTEN of the dead, and THE PRINCE OF THE KINGS of the earth. Unto him that LOVED us, and WASHED us from our sins in his own blood, 6 and hath MADE us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:4-6. 

And for our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ to ensure and authenticate that the GOSPEL being PREACHED remains same as He live in it and through it, He charged that the Believer’s in Him, should continue first and foremostly, to walk in His love with same Gospel love that loves through GIVING and SERVING others in His name – for by such many will turn toward the Father God in His name. [Ephesians 5:1-2; John 13:34-35; John 15:8-16; John 8:30-32]. 

Apostle Paul, with the gracious insights and foresights into the revelation of the Gospel of God in Christ Jesus, do charged the Ephesians Church in the Holy writ of [Acts 20:35], of the need to know that – it’s more of BLESSEDNESS to GIVE (be a GIVER) than to RECEIVE (be a RECEIVER); and Apostle Paul also wrote to the Galatians Church in the Holy writ in the context of – [Galatians 5:1, 6, 13], of the necessity to see that they don’t take their freedom – liberty in God in Christ Jesus for granted, but to ensure it and be assured that their faith in God in Christ Jesus is lubricated through LOVE and not by legalities of the religious dogmas and tradition and denominational indoctrination as per circumcision or no circumcision – and more importantly, to SERVE one another BY LOVE as in the Gospel that they have received of him in Christ Jesus stead. 

In redemption, we’ve obtained a glorious triumph on the cross by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. For our Redemption is a done did as expressed in the Holy writs of [2 Corinthians 2:14 and Colossians 2:8-15]; this thus indicates an act of TRIUMPHING BY LOVE as expressed in GIVING His life for our justification, and in SERVING to ensure and assure that we can live TRIUMPHANTLY as we do live in humanity and live godly for the cause of advancing God’s kingdom and in keeping the enemy and cohorts at bay. 

I therefore challenge you and I today to be genuine follower of God in Christ Jesus, and WALK IN LOVE as He did for our example, through the act of GIVING and SERVING, and not of demanding and receiving or as an entitlement, if we must meaningfully fulfil purpose as enjoined in the Holy writ. [Ephesians 5:1-2; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11-12]. 

I do pray that you might be awaken in this writ for a gracious and graceful you in Christ Jesus stead. Hence, I sincerely welcome you to Month February, the month of TRIUMPHING BY LOVE that GIVES and SERVES without prejudice, sentiments and dissimulation. [Romans 12:9-21; Proverbs 25:21-22; Matthew 5:38-48; Proverbs 16:7/Hebrews 11:6].

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION], having TRIUMPHED over them through the cross” Colossians 2:15. 

“But THANKS be to God, who always LEADS us in TRIUMPH in Christ, and through us SPREADS and makes evident everywhere the SWEET FRAGRANCE of the KNOWLEDGE of Him” 2 Corinthians 2:14/Amplified. 

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT; 19 and TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, WHICH PASSETH KNOWLEDGE, that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19. 

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; BUT FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE . . . 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, BUT BY LOVE SERVE ONE ANOTHER” Galatians 5:6, 13. 

“Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong. 14 LET EVERYTHING YOU DO BE DONE IN LOVE [motivated and inspired by God’s love for us]” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14/Amp. 

“Be ye therefore FOLLOWERS of God, as dear children; 2 and WALK IN LOVE, as Christ also hath LOVED us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” Ephesians 5:1-2. 

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE” Acts 20:35. 

“And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles EXERCISE LORDSHIP OVER THEM; and they that EXERCISE AUTHORITY upon them are called BENEFACTORS. 26 But ye shall NOT BE SO: but he that is GREATEST among you, let him be as the YOUNGER; and he that is CHIEF, as he that doth SERVE. 27. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that SERVETH? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that SERVETH” Luke 22:25-27 [Matthew 20:25-28; Mark 10:35-45].

GOD’S BATTLE AXE: DEALING WITH THE BATTLE OF THE MIND! 

“And be RENEWED in the spirit of your MIND” Ephesians 4:23. 

Knowingly or unknowingly, there’s a battle and warfare that is ongoing in our minds and in thoughts twenty-four-seven. Unfortunately, the Church has sat so much on SPIRITUAL WARFARE for so long that we have lost a major BATTLE which I called – MENTAL WARFARE – The BATTLE [WARFARE] of the mind. And it is the RENEWING of the spirit of the mind [the soul section of intellect (think), reasoning, perception and will feel] by THE WORD that effect the spirit to make whole to experience the good, acceptable and perfect will of God in the grace. 

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may prove what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, will of God“. Romans 12:1-2. 

For it’s what one PICTURE [IMAGINE] that determines ones FUTURE [DEFINITION], hence, Jeremiah could be ask by God – WHAT DO YOU SEE? meaning, “WHAT DO YOU PICTURE? Or rather put IMAGINE? And that was what eventually defined him in life and ministry [purpose] – Jeremiah 1:11-12. Remember Abraham in a similar encounter in Genesis 13:14-18. It is what you PICTURE [IMAGINE] in the spirit of your MIND that determines and defines what awaits you in the future. And the vitality for SOUND MIND can NEVER be over-emphasised at all phases of doing life and living godly in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. 

“For as he THINKS in his heart, so is he [in BEHAVIOR—one who manipulates]. He says to you, “Eat and drink,” Yet his heart is not with you [but it is begrudging the cost]” Proverbs 23:7. 

And there are reasons for the MIND BATTLEFIELD when you look at the Scriptural context of Mark 5:1-20. And you can deduce this for the following reasons, though not limited: 

  • Your mind is certainly a gateway to your life, for every event of your life is determined and defined in the mind. 
  • Every captive is first arrested in the mind. And your Liberty (freedom) is established or lost in the MIND. 
  • Your mind is the controller of your destiny. Until you are able to keep your mind under control, your life is out of control. 
  • As terrible as sin is, Jesus established that sin begins with a seed of thought (Matthew 5:27-30). All the devil does is to sell the thought. When you buy the thought, you become a victim of the act. 
  • Nobody succeeds by chance; success begins with a thought. Nobody prospers just by effort. Every act of prosperity and advancement in life has its source in the hearted mind. 
  • Until you begin to think differently things will not be different. Every GRACIOUS imagination establishes you, but every human philosophy that one falls for makes a captive of you. YOU ARE A PRODUCT OF YOUR THOUGHT LIFE. For as you THINK, so you BECOME. 
  • Every EVIL that came upon Job began with his imagination of it – Job 3:25. Every EVIL IMAGINATION is an express ACCESS for EVIL. 
  • Right living begins with right thinking. Great living begins with great thinking and great success begins with great success thought. Hence you don’t reply to THOUGHTS with THOUGHTS but with WORDS. 

FINALLY – Foreknowing the above and such like, one can say that – until your sense of reasoning and mentality is corrected, your destiny is not secured. For Satan has no access to your spirit, knowing it is in relationship and fellowship with the Father God; but he has access to your mind. It is the gateway to your life. Therefore, give no place to the devil or else he will give you a direction. 

“For though we WALK IN THE FLESH, we do NOT WAR AFTER THE FLESH: 4 (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 casting down IMAGINATIONS, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. 

You are GOD’S BATTLE AXE AND WEAPON OF WAR, do something by RENEWING the spirit of your mind by the WORD to remain SOUND-MINDED. That is the HOW to BATTLE in your MIND.

Our WEAPONS are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking EVERY THOUGHT and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, 6 being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (Amplified).

MONTH FEBRUARY: THE FAITH THAT WORKS: EXPRESSES THROUGH LOVE! 

There’s no geographical location or situation that can stop your position and altitude in life when your Faith Works By Love. 

I know Faith as the mystery, the vital & legal currency, and the medium of exchange to access the heavens and to give the heavenly permission in one’s earthly affairs. Yet you can only genuinely blossom and colour your worlds anywhere and any day with God when your ‘Faith Works By Love’. 

Be it in relationship, family, ministry, charitable causes, career, business, marital and governance, the Faith That Works By Love is inevitable and inescapable. For love is the ultimate, a most and more excellent way to express spiritual grace and endowment. Hence expressing ‘The Faith That Works By Love’, you can thrive and blossom in any weather of life: Winter, Autumn, Spring or Summer. 

This I saw in God through Christ, that’s why I am assured and now recommend it to you and for you. I have come to know and understand today more than ever before of the graciousness and gracefulness and speed in motion when one exercises and expresses life through ‘The Faith That Works By Love’. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“While the EARTH remaineth, SEEDTIME and HARVEST, and COLD and HEAT, and SUMMER and Winter, and DAY and NIGHT shall not CEASE” Genesis 8:22. 

“This is my commandment, That ye LOVE one another, as I have LOVED you. 13 Greater LOVE hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” John 15:13-15.

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, LOVE your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” Matthew 5:43-48.
