Sufficiency In Christ

November 22, 2015 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

Sufficiency In Christ – Treasure In Earthen Vessel: To Teach, Preach And Minister In Christ Jesus Stead – An Awesome Privilege!

I Love This Calling – Giving Hope, Faith & Love To Others As I Have Received Of God. To God Be All The Glory. Amen.

“Go, STAND in the TEMPLE and SPEAK to the PEOPLE ALL the WORDS of this LIFE” Acts 5:20

“And we have such trust through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but OUR SUFFICIENCY is from God, 6 who also MADE US SUFFICIENT as MINISTERS of the NEW COVENANT, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. . .” 2 Corinthians 3:4-6;

“We have this TREASURE in EARTHEN VESSELS, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us” 2 Corinthians 4:7.

God Is On Cause – Church Arise!

November 18, 2015 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

God Is On Cause – Church Arise!

The lawful captives must be free from evil and the evil one. The enterprise of the evil one must be brought down. Not by power or might but by God’s Spirit in and through His Church. Amen,

SCRIPTURAL READING THOUGHTS IN CONTEXT:

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered? 25 But thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children. 26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know That I, the Lord, am your Saviour, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob”. Isaiah 49:24-26

“He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. 13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness:
and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.
14 They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night. 15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. 16 So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth” Job 5:12-16.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” Ephesians 6:10-18.

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” Zechariah 4:6.

Love At Its Best: To Keep Yourself Within The Love Of God & Looking Unto Jesus Christ As The Only Epitome Of God’s Love!

Meaning, ‘In essentials – to pursue unity, In non-essentials – to allow liberty and in all things – to ensure love’.

“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life”

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”.

Love At Its Best: God Is Love And He’s The Definition of LOVE!

The greatest and best place to position ones life any day at all times is to KNOW, UNDERSTAND and BELIEVE that God Is LOVE and He’s The DEFINITION of LOVE. Meaning besides Him there’s no genuine LOVE been express in true life and in reality. This is what I call LOVE AT ITS BEST.

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love . . . And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him”.

Father’sHeart – He Is Love! 1 John 4:8, 16.

Love At Its Best: To Believe & Receive The Saving Grace of God In Christ Jesus!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”.

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”

Love At Its Best: To Feed The Hungry, Cloth The Naked & Visit The Sick!

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ 41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ 44 “Then they also will answer Him,[b] saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Love At Its Best: Being Merciful, Just & Humble!

“With what shall I come before the Lord, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old? 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, Ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”

The Father’s Heart – LOVE AT IT’S BEST

October 18, 2015 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

The Father’s Heart – LOVE AT IT’S BEST: When You EARNESTLY And GLADLY DESIRE To Be In God’s House!

Its SUNDAY, a New Day, a New Week – It’s your DAWN to ARISE and GO to the house of the Lord.

It’s time to FELLOWSHIP with the Brethren and to WORSHIP the Father God WORTHILY in the NAME of Jesus Christ and by the POWER of the Holy Spirit; and to SERVE Him ACCEPTABLY through His WORD.

Love at it’s best is the The Father’s Heart desire for you to FELLOWSHIP and WORSHIP In His Church – with His people, your BRETHREN.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“God is FAITHFUL, by whom ye were CALLED unto the FELLOWSHIP of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9 (Romans 8:28-30)

“I was GLAD when they said unto me, Let us go into the HOUSE of the Lord” Psalm 122:1.

“How LOVELY is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts! 2 My soul LONGS, yes, even FAINTS FOR THE COURTS OF THE LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3 Even the SPARROW has found a HOME, And the SWALLOW a NEST for herself, Where she may lay her young—EVEN YOUR ALTARS, O Lord of hosts, My King and my God. 4 BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO DWELL IN YOUR HOUSE; THEY WILL STILL BE PRAISING YOU. Selah 5 BLESSED is the man whose STRENGTH is in You, Whose HEART is set on PILGRIMAGE. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. 7 THEY GO FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH; EACH ONE APPEARS BEFORE GOD IN ZION. 8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah 9 O God, behold our shield, And look upon the face of Your anointed. 10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. 11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD FROM THOSE WHO WALK UPRIGHTLY. 12 O Lord of hosts, BLESSED is the man who trusts in You!” Psalm 84

“The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers WORSHIPPED in THIS MOUNTAIN; and ye say, that in JERUSALEM is the place where men ought to WORSHIP. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall NEITHER IN THIS MOUNTAIN, NOR YET AT JERUSALEM, WORSHIP THE FATHER. 22 Ye WORSHIP ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, AND NOW IS, when the TRUE WORSHIPPERS SHALL WORSHIP the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to WORSHIP him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that WORSHIP him must WORSHIP him in spirit and in truth” John 4:19-24.

“Thou wilt shew me THE PATH OF LIFE: in thy PRESENCE is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore” Psalm 16:11.

“And many NATIONS shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD, and to the HOUSE OF THE GOD of Jacob; and he will TEACH us of his ways, and we will WALK in his paths: FOR THE LAW SHALL GO FORTH OF ZION, and THE WORD of the Lord from Jerusalem” Micah 4:2 (Isaiah 2:3).

“But upon MOUNT ZION shall be DELIVERANCE, and there shall be HOLINESS; and the house of Jacob shall POSSESS THEIR POSSESSIONS” Obadiah 1:17.

“But ye are come unto MOUNT SION, and unto the CITY OF THE LIVING GOD, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND CHURCH of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel” Hebrews 12:22-24.

The Father’s Heart

The Father’s Heart – LOVE AT ITS BEST: When You Do WELCOME The Prodigal HOME!

“Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything. 17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’ 20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring[b] out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry. 25 “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’ 28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’ 31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found” Luke 15:11-32.

The Father’s Heart – LOVE AT ITS BEST: When You Do LOVE Your NEIGHBOUR And The STRANGER!

“And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to INHERIT eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how READEST thou? 27 And he answering said, Thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy NEIGHBOUR as thyself. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. 29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, AND WHO IS MY NEIGHBOUR? 30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34 and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise” Luke 10:25-37.

“And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 and thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the FIRST commandment. 31 And the SECOND is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy NEIGHBOUR as thyself. THERE IS NONE OTHER COMMANDMENT GREATER THAN THESE” Mark 12:28-31.
