READING – FACILITATES INFORMED SOCIETY: I FOUND THE WRIT ON THE BRITISH NEW TEN (£10) POUNDS NOTE!

“I DECLARE AFTER ALL THERE IS NO ENJOYMENT AS READING” – Jane Austen 1775 – 1817.

While relocating to UK years ago, my one time British friend and work colleague in the Oil Sectors Industry said to me and family –

“If you can READ – you CAN’T and WON’T get LOSS and live MISINFORMED; and you WON’T get cheated out so easily in life by any – meaning, INFORMATION is free and available but you have to MAKE the CONSCIOUS effort to READ”.

Honestly, he was very right indeed – And from the step down at the famous Heathrow Airport, London till date I found it useful – READABLE signpost to almost everything in everywhere and everyway – there is INFORMATION available for almost everything, much more now with internet connectivity age. And indeed – it’s No wonder it’s called the Mother And Home of Democracy.

However, I didn’t question all these years or found out FULL WELL why my Oil Sectors colleagues made such profound statements knowing I am EDUCATED and of course can READ while working together. But I found out recently a major LANDMARK while about paying for a service at the shop of which I have NEVER bothered to look at nor examined. I took a close examination of the money in my hand to pay for the service I have received. Written in a small print on the British Ten (£10) Pounds Note is this inscription that will forever stay with me “I DECLARE AFTER ALL THERE IS NO ENJOYMENT AS READING” – Jane Austen 1775 – 1817.

Honestly, for such KNOWING as per discovery that day, I changed my mind for once not to pay with the cash note at hand but to pay by my debit card. Simply for such TREASURED INSCRIPTIONS that means so much to me – the essence of  READING.

It has REKINDLED me to now READ ever than before though an Author in my own rights of books and literature publications; and especially, having a wife who does not welcome wrongly spoken English at home. More so, my ever loving dear Mama who once said – “We Can’t All Be Blind In This House, Somebody Must Read and Write – so go to School, and she will PAY for it”. I heard it and over again, I did leave to READ and WRITE, then the rest siblings followed suits and she paid along. Blessed her of graciousnesss and gracefulness.

I challenge you today to see the NEED to READ. There’s TRIUMPH IN READING. Discovery gives recovery for self WORTH in all about LIFE and GODLY LIVING, especially for the Believer in Christ Jesus stead. AND YOU CAN START TODAY. For there’s no LIMIT to what you can BECOME, if you RESOLVE and make the NEEDED conscious effort to be INFORMED in that which you intend to embark on or are dreading at right now, knowing being INFORMED will make all DIFFERENCE in doing life and godly living.

PUT AN END AND AT BAY TO IGNORANCE BY READING. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING EMANCIPATES, WHILE IGNORANCE DESTRUCTIVE.

THE NEED TO PRAY

THE NEED TO PRAY: PRAYING IS HUMBLING YOURSELF BEFORE GOD – AND KNEELING IS PURPOSEFUL, WINNING, DOMINION, THRIVING, TRIUMPH, FULFILLING AND MORE!

“We should PRAY when we are in a PRAYING mood, for it would be sinful to neglect so fair an opportunity. We should PRAY when we are not in a PRAYING mood, for it would be dangerous to remain in so unhealthy a condition.”  – Charles Spurgeon.

There’s the NEED to PRAY and the NEED in making it your PERSONAL OBLIGATION and not SOMEONE else. Don’t be a PRAYER DISTRIBUTOR person and or COLLECTION CENTRE, but a KNEELING Believer In Christ. For KNEELING Is – Winning, Dominion, Thriving, Victory,  Overcoming, Triumph and More Than CONQUERORS!

In the PRAYER acts of C. Spurgeon, I have met people with the URGED to PRAY but took the opportunity for granted for other activities, and had suffered the consequences of their spiritual neglects.

I’ve met also people who create no time to see praying or prayers as their SPIRITUAL responsibility and accountability, and have had the consequences of taking their spiritual responsibility and accountability for granted.

However, I’ve seen people who took time to PRAY when the urge to PRAY is done on them, and who also take PRAYERS and PRAYING as their personal spiritual responsibility and accountability and not someone else, even when the urge is not there; and through PRAYERS, they have averted adversities and kept at bay the ENEMY and COHORTS; and through PRAYERS, the good and goodness of God’s BLESSEDNESS have come their way and that of others they had prayed along for and with, quietly and or publicly.

DON’T TAKE YOUR ACT TO PRAYERS AND PRAYING FOR GRANTED. DON’T MAKE IT SOMEONE ELSE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY – MAKE THEM YOURS.

IT’S TIME TO KNOW YOUR GOD AND BE WITH HIM IN PRAYERS TO KEEP THE ENEMY AND COHORTS AT BAY AND HAVE THE HEAVENS AT YOUR ANSWER.

THERES IS THE NEED TO PRAY – FOR PRAYING IS HUMBLING YOURSELF BEFORE GOD – AND KNEELING IS PURPOSEFUL, WINNING, DOMINION, THRIVING, TRIUMPH, FULFILLING AND MORE!

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought ALWAYS TO PRAY, and not to FAINT” Luke 18:1.

“Thou wilt shew me the PATH OF LIFE: in thy PRESENCE is fulness of joy; at thy RIGHT HAND there are pleasures for evermore” Psalms 16:11.

“And in the morning, RISING up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there PRAYED” Mark 1:35.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: BEING FAITHFUL IS REWARDING!

Many times I have come across the QUEST for an ANSWER by some Believers who are genuine in their dedication and commitment toward God and toward men – burdened as to say  – if indeed being FAITHFUL, that’s is, FAITHFULNESS, is still REWARDING at all. Some of these people have been beaten and battered in life in many ways that the drive and passion to remain FAITHFUL seems deceptive, illusive and unrealistic to them in matters of life and godly living.

And sometimes as a Pastor, you are almost drawn into these sentiments of people whose acts of FAITHFULNESS are shattered, when you are presented with the vivid facts of their encounters and experiences. Especially when you see matters of life in this light:

** A woman being beaten up and maimed by the temperamental and untampered husband or like another husband having a wife you can’t truly be assured anymore of her ways due to the change from a WE statement to an – I, ME and MYSELF trinity.

** When an employee working and putting up with much of the skill to see the business setting THRIVE for the good of the Business with hope while such employee is being undermined by the employer with no fair and justifiable returns; or an employer doing and going beyond the company capacity to ensure employees are looked after, are given a good commensurate returns and care, while therein are some mean, dubious, undedicated and untrustworthy employee, who are there only for the looting, wasting and undermining the prospects of seeing such Business THRIVE knowingly and unknowingly; and they knowing that their doings may have terrible impact on them and all those who looks up to them through that means for their livelihood.

** When a government is failing in governance to the cause and course of giving leadership and governance in the distribution of the set resources to everyone without prejudice, discrimination and dissemination and such like; while there are some others within the system sabotaging the good effort and structure in place for the good governance and wealth distribution to all by their wicked, crafty, cunning and evil intent to loot the system and make it fail at no consequence.

** And the list goes on and on in various life applications of the challenge of FAITHFULNESS – BEING FAITHFUL. You can name them too to make up this paragraph.

However, I am emboldened to say by the light of the Scriptures that BEING FAITHFUL – that is, FAITHFULNESS is rewarding in God, no Matter the prevailing challenges and circumstances that one might face or have been facing for a while or may face later on. For me, the knowing that God is FAITHFUL to Himself and His WORD in all about LIFE and GODLY LIVING, I recommend again of the need to live FAITHFUL. Hence, we are employed and enjoined as Believers in Christ Jesus stead, that in whatever capacity – WORD OR DEED, in carrying out our duty or Services, as toward God and toward man, we should do it as unto God in the name of Jesus Christ; for God is FAITHFUL to REWARD us accordingly in spite of all happenings, in His grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. Therefore I say to you, hold fastly and firmly the MYSTERY of your FAITH in the grace in Christ Jesus stead, with a PURE CONSCIENCE.

Herein are few hints but not limited to indicate that FAITHFULNESS – BEING FAITHFUL, IS REWARDING in God, in Christ Jesus stead:

  1. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, gets one an enriching rewards and abounds with blessings. Proverbs 28:20; Proverbs 10:22; Ephesians 1:3.
  2. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, permits progress and abounds with healing and health. Proverbs 13:17, 2 Corinthians 5:20.
  3. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, abounds with refreshing grace for the good of others. Proverbs 25:13; Isaiah 44:24-26.
  4. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, abounds with commendation and the enabling to increase and promotion. Matthew 25:21, 23; Mark 10:28-30.
  5. FAITHFULNESS – Being FAITHFUL, abounds with eternal reward. Matthew 25:21b, 23b; Mark 10:28-30.

“FAITHFUL is he that CALLETH you, who also will DO it” 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30).

“But the Lord is FAITHFUL, who shall STABLISH you, and KEEP you from EVIL” 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

“And WHATSOEVER ye do in WORD or DEED, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” Colossians 3:17.

BE A TIMOTHY: AN INFORMED CHILD

BE A TIMOTHY: AN INFORMED CHILD – MAKES INFORMED FAMILY – THAT MAKES INFORMED HEALTHY COMMUNITY AND SOCIETY!

Knowledge may not be APPRECIATED until you are a VICTIM of IGNORANCE – Therefore, EDUCATE your MIND – BE INFORMED by INFORMED MIND – Otherwise FOOLS will EDUCATE you with ignorance, stupidity and foolishness.

Dare to be a TIMOTHY – Dare to be INFORMED. For informed people makes an informed leaders and informed leadership and informed choices.

BE HEALED – ADMINISTERING HEALTH AND HEALING SCRIPTURES

BE HEALED – ADMINISTERING HEALTH AND HEALING SCRIPTURES: MEDITATE AND  DECLARE IT!

It’s your day to be WELL And WHOLE In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayerfully and boldly declare your healing and health through the Holy SCRIPTURES that are written for you in mind. When you INCLINE to God’s SAYINGS by FAITH, other SAYINGS becomes IRRELEVANT and your miracle comes as you take your stand in GRACE in Christ Jesus stead, in God. Amen. Romans 5:1-2; Proverbs 4:20-23.

I pray that as you meditate and make an EMBOLDENED declaration of FAITH upon these Health and Healing SCRIPTURES, may you be HEALED and WHOLE in Jesus’ precious name, Amen. Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 5:14-15; 1 John 4:17-18.

For at the NAME of JESUS – ALL FLESH, ALL THINGS, ALL KNEE, ALL MOUTH and ALL CREATION ANSWERS to the call for your health and healing well-being:

  1. There’s POWER over ALL FLESH – John 17:1-3.
  2. There’s POWER to SUBDUE ALL THINGS – Philippians 3:20-21.
  3. There’s POWER to make ALL KNEE BOW and ALL MOUTH CONFESS to God’s. Sovereignty in Christ Jesus stead – Philippians 2:9-11.
  4. There’s Power To make ALL CREATION submit in worship and adoration – Revelation 4:1-11 (**vs 11); Revelation 5:1-14 (**vs 12-14).

Just know for sure and certainly that GOD Loves You and cares about you. Therefore, FEAR not, for AS HE IS, so  you OUGHT to be in this world – in HEALTH and WHOLENESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“Herein is our love MADE perfect, that we may have BOLDNESS in the day of JUDGMENT: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 There is no FEAR in love; but perfect love CASTETH OUT FEAR: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18.

FAITHFUL IS HE THAT PROMISED, AND HE WILL DO IT ACCORDINGLY FOR YOU. AMEN.

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us HOLD FAST our PROFESSION DECLARATION, CONFESSION, TESTIMONY, PROCLAMATION). 15 For we have not an high priest which CANNOT be TOUCHED with the FEELING of our INFIRMITIES; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us THEREFORE come BOLDLY unto the THRONE of grace, that we may OBTAIN mercy, and find GRACE to HELP in TIME of NEED” Hebrews 4:14-16 (Emphasis Mine).

“For God did not give us a spirit of TIMIDITY or COWARDICE or FEAR, but [He has GIVEN us a spirit] of POWER and of LOVE and of SOUND JUDGMENT and PERSONAL DISCIPLINE [abilities that RESULT in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]”  2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified).

“And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in him, that, if we ASK ANY THING ACCORDING to his WILL, he heareth us: 15 and if we KNOW that he HEAR us, WHATSOEVER we ASK, we KNOW that we have the PETITIONS that we DESIRED of him” 1 John 5:14-15.

LIVING THOUGHT: YOU ARE GOD’S CHURCH!

The CHURCH is NOT the CATHEDRAL or STRUCTURAL BUILDING of any kind that you may think. For YOU ARE the Church. The one Christ Jesus is building. You ARE that building undergoing His work. You ARE His temple, his dwelling place. You ARE of God and He lives in you. You are the dwelling of the Holy Godhead and the greater one resides in you. That’s awesomeness, graciousnesss and gracefulness indeed.

“Ye ARE of God, little children, and have OVERCOME them: because GREATER is he that is in you, than he that is in the world . . .6 We ARE of God: he that KNOWETH God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby KNOW we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error” 1 John 4:4, 6.

It’s a high time you know who you are and are becoming in God in Christ Jesus stead. Otherwise, you may be subject to the tradition of men make belief and dogmas, creeds, bylaws and philosophy that leads to BONDAGES and not after Christ Jesus stead.

Gathering at the structural building is scripturally good, needful and helpful but it’s not the Church. It’s your presence in that place and with OTHERS that makes the building in terms

“Church” per se, otherwise it could be any hall or places of doing life also –  Hebrews 10:25; Hebrews 12:22-24. Know for certainty, that the Church, is the individual – you, the local gathering otherwise called assembly and the universal body, of the born of God in Christ Jesus, under a shepherd.

Therefore, SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Therefore if ANY MAN be in Christ, he is a NEW CREATURE (CREATION): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Emphasis Mine).

“. . . 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH; and THE GATES OF HELL shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt BIND on earth shall be BOUND in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt LOOSE on earth shall be LOOSED in heaven . . .” Matthew 16:14-20.

“Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9 For WE ARE LABOURERS together with God: ye ARE God’s HUSBANDRY, ye ARE God’s BUILDING” 1 Corinthians 3:8-9.

“and what agreement hath the TEMPLE of God with idols? for ye ARE the TEMPLE of the living God; as God hath said, I will DWELL in them, and WALK in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people” 2 Corinthians 6:16.

“Know ye not that ye ARE the TEMPLE of God, and that the Spirit of God DWELLETH in you? 17 If any man defile the TEMPLE of God, him shall God destroy; for the TEMPLE of God is holy, which TEMPLE ye ARE.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-20.

“What? know ye not that your body is the TEMPLE of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye HAVE of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore GLORIFY God in your BODY, and in your SPIRIT, which ARE God’s” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

MARRIAGE – A COVENANT OF GRACE: A CALL TO INHERIT A BLESSING – AS HEIRS SHARING THE COMMON GRACE OF LIFE!

Your MARRIAGE is BLESSED and not CURSE – When you see it from the Eyes of the SCRIPTURES and not from the eyes of man-made tradition.

LIVE TO FORGIVE – JUSTIFY AND EMBRACE

LIVE TO FORGIVE – JUSTIFY AND EMBRACE: IT’S AN ANTIDOTE TO BITTERNESS, WRATH AND UNANSWERED PRAYERS – APPLY IT TODAY!

God did not only FORGIVES us our SIN but does forgives us every now and always in our sinful nature shortfalls in Christ Jesus. Hence, He JUSTIFIED us and EMBRACED us that we might have ACCESS in His grace and walk in FREEDOM daily before Him without shame, fear, torments and condemnation. Romans 5:1-2; Romans 8:28-30; 1 Corinthians 1:9. THINK ABOUT IT!

It thus means that RESENTING whosoever will not help you. For you can’t RESENT the person you pray FOR if you believe God genuinely for an answer to your prayers. But you will be entangled in self bondage when you don’t pray FOR (NOT AGAINST) the one you are intending or already RESENTING as the Holy writ enjoined – Matthew 5:38-48.

Genuine FREEDOM is only possible if you commit to pray for the one that hurts you. You can’t be taking PAIN RELIEVER for another’s ache in BITTERNESS, WRATH, and UNANSWERED PRAYERS. So, get out of your high horse and do the scriptural-wise thing.

May God gives you the enabling grace in His BLESSEDNESS to live FREE in Christ Jesus stead in everyway scripturally Amen.

It’s a high time you top up and increase your LOVE DOSAGE. God LOVES you – go and do likewise in every circumstances of doing life and living godly.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Be ye therefore FOLLOWERS of God, as dear children; 2 and WALK in LOVE, as Christ also hath LOVED us, and hath GIVEN himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour” Ephesians 5:1-2.

“But the END of ALL THINGS is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8 And ABOVE ALL THINGS have FERVENT LOVE for one another, for “LOVE will cover a MULTITUDE of SINS” 1 Peter 4:7-8.
