A lady went to the Pastor and said\ud83d\ude4d\ud83c\udffe … “I won\u2019t be attending Church anymore.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, “May I ask why??”<\/span><\/p>\n

She said, “I see people on their cell phones during the service, some are gossiping, some just ain\u2019t living right, they are all just hypocrites.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pastor got silent and he said, “Ok… But can I ask you to do something for me before you make your final decision?”<\/span><\/p>\n

She said, “What\u2019s that?”<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, “Take a glass of water and walk around the Church 2 times and don\u2019t let any water fall out the glass.”<\/span><\/p>\n

She said, “Yes I can do that.”<\/span><\/p>\n

She came back and said “It\u2019s done.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He asked her 3 questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Did you see anybody on their phone?<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Did you see anybody gossiping?<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Was anybody living wrong?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    She said, “I didn\u2019t see anything because I was so focused on this glass, so the water wouldn\u2019t fall.”<\/span><\/p>\n

    He told her, “When you come to Church, you should be just that focused on God , so that you don\u2019t fall.That\u2019s why Jesus said ‘Follow me.’ He did not say follow Christians. Don\u2019t let your relationship with God be determined by how others relate with God. Let it be determined by how focused YOU are on God.”<\/span><\/p>\n
