STOCK TAKING – TAKE TIME TO CHILL: LEISURE IS GOD’S AND IT’S GODLY!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

EBENEZER: Hitherto Has The Lord God HELPED Us – 1 Samuel 7:12.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LEISURE and REST are good after labour – diligent work; and labour is\nthe physical and mental exertion of man to earn a gracious reward – cash and or\nkind. And one good, gracious and graceful reward of labour – a DILIGENT\nworkloads in the year, is by taking a time out to have a relaxing leisure outside\nyour norm, especially with your BELOVED among your cherished friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a gracious and graceful time to EAT, LAUGH, REFLECT, TAKE STOCK and BELIEVE again for the Days, Weeks, Months and Years ahead. God REWARDS DILIGENCE; and they that are DILIGENT will have a STAND in the MIDST and PLACE of kings – honour and dignity. Proverbs 22:29; Hebrews 11:6.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And most importantly, STOCK TAKING is a time to review and assess one’s\nsituation and options; and to count, account and share the enabling that will\nsynergise you in PURPOSE; such that you can THRIVE MEANINGFULLY and in\nFULFILMENT; and to move FORWARD – ONWARDS and UPWARDS – in LIFE and GRACE, and\nin the abounding love of God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Seest thou a man DILIGENT in his business? he shall STAND before KINGS (HONOUR, DIGNITY); he shall not STAND before mean (OBSCURED, UNPRODUCTIVE) men”<\/em> Proverbs 22:29 (Emphasis Mine).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a REWARDER of them that DILIGENTLY seek him”<\/em> Hebrews 11:6.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“And the apostles GATHERED themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had DONE, and what they had TAUGHT. 31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and REST A WHILE: for there were many coming and going, and they had no LEISURE so much as to EAT”<\/em> Mark 6:30-31.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There remaineth therefore a REST to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his REST, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us LABOUR therefore to ENTER INTO THAT REST, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief” <\/em>Hebrews 4:9-11.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had RESTED from all his work which God created and made”<\/em> Genesis 2:1-2.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
