WORTH PONDERING – “THE LOVE OF MONEY”: THREE MAJOR CAUSES AND SIDE EFFECTS!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MONEY\n(Finance) is a De FACTO medium of exchange. And on its merit, it’s not EVIL or\nan EVIL or the ROOT of EVIL or ROOT of all EVIL as some acclaimed; but it is\n“THE LOVE OF MONEY” that is the ROOT of ALL EVIL. Money is GOOD. It’s\na great means of defence in life, when wisely and prudently expended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However,\n‘THE LOVE OF MONEY’ has some causes or side effects. Here are three warning\nsigns in order not to be in a position of being captivated by – THE LOVE OF\nMONEY:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1. IT CAUSES WORRY:<\/strong> A lack of Sleep – sleepless moments if the balance sheet is not meeting expectations or overwhelmingly breaking your set point – Ecclesiastes 5:12 <\/strong>“The sleep of a working man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the full stomach (greed) of the rich [who hungers for even more] will not let him sleep” (Amplified).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2. IT CAUSES DISSATISFACTIONS: It allows and breed greediness and covetousness – Ecclesiastes 5:10<\/strong> “He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its gain. This too is vanity (emptiness)” (Amplified).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3. IT CAUSES TEMPTATION: It allows and leads to the breaking of rules, even the law in order to get and acquire more at any cost – Proverbs 28:20, 22 <\/strong>“A faithful (right-minded) man will abound with blessings, But he who hurries to be rich <\/strong>will not go unpunished . . . 22 He who has an evil and envious eye hurries to be rich<\/strong> and does not know that poverty will come upon him” (Amplified).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Money is\ngood when it’s made to serve or be a servant and not as lord to every vital and\nlegal means of living and doing life. Make it your servant or errand tool only\nand not your life controller, then you will experience the PEACE of mind\nindescribable and incomprehensible. With peace of mind one is able to be CONTENT\nand LIVE GODLY, and to keep temptation at bay. For GAIN is not GODLINESS but\nGODLINESS with CONTENTMENT is a great gain the Scriptures enjoin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I pray you\nwill not be entangled in bondage as a money lover for a mere self and selfish\ngratifications at – the expense of others, the rule of law, and the decency and\norder to yourself, family and the community and nation you service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For THE LOVE of MONEY is the ROOT of ALL EVIL: which while some COVETED after, they have ERRED from the FAITH, and PIERCED themselves through with many SORROWS”<\/em> (1 Timothy 6:10)<\/strong> (Emphasis Mine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: BUT MONEY ANSWERETH ALL THINGS”<\/em> (Ecclesiastes 10:19)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. 12 For WISDOM is a DEFENCE, and MONEY is a DEFENCE: but the excellency of knowledge is, that WISDOM giveth life to them that have it”<\/em> Ecclesiastes 7:11-12<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Wisdom along with an inheritance is good and an [excellent] advantage for those who see the sun. 12 For WISDOM is a protection even as MONEY is a protection, But the [excellent] advantage of knowledge is that WISDOM shields and preserves the lives of its possessors”<\/em> Ecclesiastes 7:11-12 <\/strong>(Amplified).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“. . . 3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, AND TO THE DOCTRINE WHICH IS ACCORDING TO GODLINESS; 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that GAIN IS GODLINESS: from such withdraw thyself. 6 But GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN”<\/em> 1 Timothy 6:1-6.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
