HAVE FAITH IN GOD: THERE’S THE FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORD!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I WILL SEND A FAMINE IN THE LAND, not a FAMINE of BREAD, nor a THIRST for WATER, BUT OF HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD . . .”<\/i>\u00a0Amos 8:11-13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u00a0is\u00a0a great time\u00a0to HAVE FAITH IN\u00a0GOD and\u00a0give your EARS to the HEARING of the SAYINGS of\u00a0God, before\u00a0the FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORD takes hold of you,\u00a0as\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0so obvious in many places today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cHAVE FAITH IN GOD”<\/i>\u00a0Mark 11:12-14, 20-24.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u00a0is\u00a0time to INCLINE your EARS to GOD’S WORD by HEARING and giving attendance to God’s SAYINGS,\u00a0in order to\u00a0be ABOVE ONLY,\u00a0in the midst of\u00a0challenging times. For FAITH comes by the HEARING of the WORD.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“So\u00a0then FAITH COMES BY HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 10:17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“My son, ATTEND to my WORDS; INCLINE THINE EAR UNTO MY SAYINGS. 21 Let them not DEPART from thine EYES; keep them\u00a0in the midst of\u00a0thine HEART. 22 For they are LIFE unto those that find them, and HEALTH to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy HEART with all DILIGENCE; for out of it are the ISSUES OF LIFE”\u00a0<\/i>Proverbs 4:20-23.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are many VOICES in the air 24\/7, and whom and what you LISTEN to will shape your life, every now and then. One is either HEARING the sayings\u00a0of the WORD of God to\u00a0be\u00a0APPROVED or\u00a0may be hearing\u00a0sayings\u00a0that\u00a0are\u00a0posed\u00a0for\u00a0self-\u00a0APPLAUSE\u00a0and HYPE by SOCIAL MEDIA and other MULTIMEDIA platforms;\u00a0or by the tradition and rudiments of the world;\u00a0or by satanic and cohort\u00a0sayings; or\u00a0by self make-believe or\u00a0being\u00a0made\u00a0to\u00a0believe; or\u00a0by the circumstances of the environment and such like.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u00a0is\u00a0time not to feed on rubbish or from the waste bin garbage simply because you\u00a0want\u00a0to feed. Wake up and\u00a0locate\u00a0a place for the HEARING OF THE WORD OF GOD,\u00a0not\u00a0SENTIMENTS and PREJUDICE that appeal to your emotions and circumstances. God’s INTENT is to GIVE you SHEPHERDS\u00a0that will FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING that you might grow up in GRACE and be\u00a0established\u00a0in the FAITH.\u00a0(Jeremiah 3:15; Proverbs 4:7).<\/b>\u00a0And\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0your\u00a0responsibility and accountability to\u00a0locate\u00a0one today and begin to hear aright the SAYINGS of God in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u00a0is a genuine reality today of falsehoods, adulteration, perversion and dilution of the authentic and authoritative WORD of God by\u00a0deluded preachers and others in manifold manifestations in the name of Church or Ministry (Galatians 1:6-9; Philippians 1:15-18)<\/b>\u00a0It\u00a0is not surprising because the Scriptures knew before now of the upcoming FAMINE of the HEARING of The WORD of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A lack of the genuine HEARING of the WORD means a lack of FAITH. Faith is the transaction tender between Man and God,\u00a0which\u00a0when lacking, or adulterated or fake or\u00a0diluted, one\u00a0cannot\u00a0trade in the Kingdom or Heavenly Business with God. Do you know the effect and consequences of that?\u00a0It\u00a0is\u00a0therefore imperative that you wake up from your lazy\u00a0attitude\u00a0and begin to examine what you are HEARING today,\u00a0before – The FAMINE of the HEARING of the WORD kicks into your being and overwhelms you in life and godly\u00a0living.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For NO HEARING of the WORD means NO FAITH,\u00a0and that means NO TRANSACTION in\u00a0heaven for your earthly affairs under God. Heaven does not accept fake or\u00a0adulterated or perverted or counterfeited\u00a0or polluted and such like tender for transactions outside FAITH,\u00a0which is derived\u00a0and\u00a0built\u00a0up from the HEARING of THE WORD of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, do yourself a favour and examine what you are hearing and feeding your being if\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0God’s WORD,\u00a0or any of these: Man-made\u00a0beliefs, traditional dogmas, denominational creeds and\u00a0byelaws, cultural sayings of the old fables,\u00a0the\u00a0rudiments of this world, philosophy of men, prejudice and sentimental appeals,\u00a0and such like.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

THE ONLY ANTIDOTE TO THE FAMINE OF THE WORD, IS THE HEARING OF THE WORD.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I pray you\u00a0don’t\u00a0run to and\u00a0fro\u00a0when\u00a0it’s\u00a0too late to look for the WORD. Do yourself a favour\u00a0today,,\u00a0before FAMINE kicks in and make-believe takes over.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“So\u00a0then FAITH cometh BY HEARING, AND HEARING by THE WORD of God”\u00a0<\/i>Romans 10:17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I WILL SEND A FAMINE IN THE LAND, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, BUT OF HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD: 12 and they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and\u00a0fro\u00a0to seek the word of the\u00a0Lord, and\u00a0shall not find it. 13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst”\u00a0<\/i>Amos 8:11-13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I MARVEL that ye are so soon REMOVED from him that CALLED you into the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER gospel: 7 which is NOT ANOTHER; but there be SOME that TROUBLE\u00a0you, and\u00a0would PERVERT the gospel of Christ. 8 But though WE, or an ANGEL from heaven, PREACH any other gospel unto you than that which we have PREACHED unto you, let him be ACCURSED. 9 As we said before, so say I now again,\u00a0If\u00a0any man PREACH any other gospel unto you than that ye have RECEIVED, let him be ACCURSED”<\/i>\u00a0Galatians 1:6-9.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a time marked by competing voices, doctrinal corruption, and spiritual apathy, the writer calls believers to guard their ears, reject diluted substitutes, and return to authentic Scripture as the only basis for faith and life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Prophetic Warning: A Famine of Hearing the Word<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The message opens and closes with\u00a0Amos 8:11-13\u00a0<\/b>\u2014 God declaring a famine \u201cnot of bread nor thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord\u201d.         Because \u201cthere are many voices in the air 24\/7,\u201d the believer must examine what they feed their spirit. The\u00a0message\u00a0lists counterfeit sources to reject:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        • Man-made\u00a0beliefs\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Traditional dogmas and denominational creeds\/byelaws\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • Rudiments of this world + philosophy of men\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Proverbs 4:20-23<\/b>\u00a0is used as the corrective:\u00a0\u201cAttend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings\u2026 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                    1. God\u2019s Intent: Shepherds Who Feed with Knowledge<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      Jeremiah 3:15; Proverbs 4:7<\/b>\u00a0establish\u00a0God\u2019s intent to give \u201cshepherds according to mine heart\u201d who feed with knowledge and understanding so believers grow in grace and are\u00a0established\u00a0in faith. This creates responsibility:\u00a0locate\u00a0such shepherds\/places now and \u201chear aright the sayings of God in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                      1. Consequences of Neglect<\/b>\u00a0
                        Personal<\/b>: Lazy attitude leads to being overwhelmed by famine; \u201crun to and\u00a0fro\u201d seeking the Word but not finding it, per\u00a0Amos 8:12.<\/b>\u00a0
                        Spiritual:<\/b>\u00a0Fake, adulterated, perverted, counterfeited, or polluted \u201ctender\u201d cannot trade in the kingdom. Only faith built from the Word is accepted in heaven.\u00a0
                        Doctrinal<\/b>: Lack of genuine hearing produces lack of faith, which removes the believer from effective kingdom\u00a0living.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        1. Call to Action & Antidote<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                          The only antidote to the famine of the Word is the hearing of the Word<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span>

                          4. Grow in grace and knowledge\u00a02 Peter 3:18<\/b>. Get wisdom and understanding\u00a0Proverbs 4:7.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
