OCCUPY TILL I COME IN GIVING: FOR GOD’S LOVED-WORLD IS A GIVING WORLD!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“For God so LOVED the WORLD that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”\u00a0<\/i>John 3:16.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

God’s LOVED-WORLD is an awesome world of LOVE – therefore,\u00a0don’t\u00a0be SELFISH about it. To many,\u00a0the opposite of LOVE may be HATE or HATRED. On the contrary, in God’s scriptural kingdom, LOVE\u2019S\u00a0opposite is SELFISHNESS – being selfish, covetous,\u00a0hoarding\u00a0and greedy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“GIVE, and it shall be GIVEN unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men GIVE into your bosom. For with the SAME MEASURE that ye mete withal it shall be MEASURED to you again”<\/i>\u00a0Luke 6:38.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The LOVED-WORLD of God\u00a0is made to be liveable, likeable,\u00a0loveable\u00a0and enjoyable because of the act of GIVING that takes place every now and then. For example, the plants GIVE out oxygen to RECEIVE or TAKE IN carbon dioxide for their photosynthesis. In same scenario are\u00a0humans and all\u00a0living creation. We GIVE out carbon dioxide and TAKE IN oxygen to keep our human body alive and life in check. This cycle keeps life going\u00a0every day.\u00a0It\u00a0is\u00a0a GIVING\u00a0world;\u00a0hence\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0LOVED-WORLD,\u00a0and\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0LIKEABLE, LIVEABLE, LOVEABLE, REACHABLE, INDESCRIBABLE and ENJOYABLE\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

God so\u00a0LOVED,\u00a0He GAVE! Genuine LOVE GIVES. Where God’s LOVE is, GIVING goes along. Giving could be in the form of giving once TIME, FINANCE, PHYSIQUE (STRENGTH), TALENT\/SKILL, PROTECTION [DEFEND], VISITATION, MATERIAL GIFT, SPIRITUAL CARE and such likes and MORE, to the needy and vulnerable ONE especially. To authenticate and ensure\u00a0that\u00a0God’s LOVE that saves us from sin keeps abounding in us\u00a0by\u00a0grace, our Father God abundantly and lavishly GAVE us the Holy Spirit of LOVE, to ensure that the\u00a0DNA of love is embedded in us\u00a0as default\u00a0to live and do life in love. Thus,\u00a0indicating\u00a0that everyone born of God in Christ Jesus is carrying\u00a0the\u00a0default of love,\u00a0irrespective\u00a0of circumstances,\u00a0except the individual chooses and decides to live otherwise against the true being in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0stead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Such hope [in God\u2019s promises] never disappoints us, because God\u2019s LOVE has been ABUNDANTLY POURED out within OUR HEARTS through the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us . . . 8 But God clearly shows and proves His own LOVE for us, by the fact that while we were STILL SINNERS, Christ DIED for us”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 5:5, 8\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u00a0is MORE BLESSED to GIVE than to RECEIVE, for givers NEVER go down no matter what.\u00a0This I know so well.\u00a0Hence you see that the hand of the giver is always above and over the recipient\u2019s\u00a0hands to receive.\u00a0That\u00a0is the kingdom principle which also works\u00a0in the natural world. Make yourself a\u00a0living giver today,\u00a0propelled by love and\u00a0not\u00a0by\u00a0pride and arrogance,\u00a0nor\u00a0by sentiments,\u00a0prejudice\u00a0and dissimulation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore,\u00a0do\u00a0a self-check and be a GIVER today: For God’s LOVED world is a GIVING world – and our passion to help people when they are falling should outweigh our intent to crucify them when they fall – THERE’S NO ROOM FOR SELFISHNESS, HOARDING AND WITHHOLDING to enjoy the unspeakable gift of joy of God that’s in Christ Jesus stead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”\u00a0<\/i>John 3:16.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I have shown you in every way, by labouring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, \u2018IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECIEVE”\u00a0<\/i>Acts 20:35.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“There is that SCATTERETH, and yet INCREASETH; and there is that WITHHOLDETH more than is meet, but it\u00a0tendeth\u00a0to POVERTY. 25 The LIBERAL soul shall be MADE fat: and he that WATERETH shall be WATERED also himself. 26 He that WITHHOLDETH corn, the people shall CURSE him: but BLESSING shall be upon the HEAD of him that SELLETH it”\u00a0<\/i>Proverbs 11:24-26.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For God is not UNJUST so as to FORGET your WORK and the LOVE which you have SHOWN for His name in MINISTERING to [the needs of] the saints (God\u2019s people), as you do. 11 And we desire for each one of you to SHOW the same DILIGENCE [all the way through] so as to realize and enjoy the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you will not be [spiritually] sluggish, but [will instead be] IMITATORS of those who through faith [lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power] and by patient endurance [even when suffering] are [now] INHERITING the promises”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 6:10-12 (Amplified).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SUMMARY:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Central Thesis<\/b>: God designed the world and His kingdom to\u00a0operate\u00a0by love expressed through giving. Selfishness, hoarding, and withholding are the true opposites of love and block both natural and kingdom blessing. Every believer carries a default of love by the Holy Spirit and is called to live as a giver \u2014 in time, strength, resources, and compassion \u2014 because \u201cit is more blessed to give than to receive.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Kingdom Mandate: Occupy by Giving<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The exhortation opens with\u00a0Luke 19:13\u00a0<\/b>\u2014\u00a0\u201cOccupy till I come\u201d\u00a0\u2014 but reframes it as\u00a0\u201cOccupy till I come in giving.\u201d\u00a0John 3:16\u00a0<\/b>anchors the entire message:\u00a0\u201cFor God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.\u201d\u00a0God\u2019s nature is love, and love proves itself by giving.\u00a0Therefore,\u00a0God\u2019s world is a \u201cloved world\u201d and a \u201cgiving world\u201d by design.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Doctrinal Correction: Love\u2019s True Opposite<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Culturally, people assume love\u2019s opposite is\u00a0hate\u00a0or hatred. The\u00a0message\u00a0corrects this biblically:\u00a0In God\u2019s scriptural kingdom, love\u2019s opposite is selfishness<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 manifested as being selfish, covetous, hoarding, and greedy.\u00a01 Corinthians 13:5\u00a0<\/b>underlies this:\u00a0\u201clove\u00a0seeketh\u00a0not her own.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Selfishness is the anti-kingdom posture; hate is the fruit, but selfishness is the root.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Natural Law Confirms Kingdom Law: The Cycle of Giving<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Creation itself illustrates the principle. Plants give oxygen and take in carbon dioxide; humans do the reverse. This cycle keeps life going daily. The world is \u201cliveable, likeable, loveable, reachable, indescribable and enjoyable\u201d because giving and receiving are built into it.\u00a0Luke 6:38\u00a0<\/b>is cited:\u00a0\u201cGive, and it shall be given unto you\u2026 with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.\u201d<\/b>\u00a0What works in nature is also kingdom principle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. The Default of Love in Every Believer<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Romans 5:5, 8<\/b>\u00a0explains how: God saved us by love, then abundantly poured His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. This embeds the \u201cDNA of love\u201d as default in everyone born of God in Christ Jesus.\u00a0Therefore\u00a0every believer carries the capacity for love irrespective of\u00a0circumstance, unless\u00a0they choose to live contrary to their true being in Christ.\u00a0Genuine love gives<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 it is not theoretical.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Forms of Giving + Attitude of Giving<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Giving is broad: time, finance, physique\/strength, talent\/skill, protection\/defense, visitation, material gift, spiritual care, and more \u2014 especially to the needy and vulnerable. The attitude\u00a0matters:\u00a0be propelled by love, not by pride, arrogance, sentiments, prejudice, or dissimulation.\u00a0Acts 20:35\u00a0<\/b>is quoted:\u00a0\u201cIt is more blessed to give than to receive.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0The giver\u2019s hand is always above the recipient\u2019s hand.\u00a0Proverbs 11:24-26<\/b>\u00a0confirms: the liberal soul shall be made fat; he that\u00a0watereth\u00a0shall be watered himself, while withholding leads to poverty and curse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

              The writer confronts a critical heart issue: our passion to help people when they are falling should outweigh our intent to crucify them when they fall.\u00a0There is no room for selfishness, hoarding, and withholding\u00a0<\/b>if we want to enjoy the \u201cunspeakable gift of joy of God that is in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead\u201d\u00a02 Corinthians 9:15.\u00a0Hebrews 6:10-12<\/b>\u00a0reinforces: God does not forget work and love shown in ministering to His people.                           In one sentence:<\/b>\u00a0The message declares that because God is love and He gave His Son, His world and kingdom function by giving;\u00a0therefore,\u00a0believers must reject selfishness as love\u2019s true opposite, embrace the Holy Spirit\u2019s embedded default of love, and occupy their lives as givers in every form, knowing giving is\u00a0the blessed\u00a0kingdom principle that keeps one above.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
