THE BLESSEDNESS OF – “BEING LED OF THE SPIRIT”: THE ENABLING POWER OF GOD TO ACCESS AND FULFILL PURPOSE IN CHRIST JESUS!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . 14 For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, they are the SONS of God . . .”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 8:9-11, 14-17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Then was Jesus LED up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil”<\/i>\u00a0Matthew 4:1.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Until redemption in Christ Jesus, the OLD TESTAMENT CREATION people were LED by mere men\u00a0who served\u00a0under God as Prophets, Priests, Kings and Levites, and who were not born again [not\u00a0circumcised in the heart] otherwise born of God with the Holy Spirit\u00a0living\u00a0within them\u00a0[Romans 2:28-29; Philippians 3:3; John 14:16-27; Romans 5:5].<\/b>\u00a0All of them,\u00a0from the Old Testament till the Gospel, none was born of the Spirit in their spirit-being,\u00a0in order for\u00a0them to know, understand and experience God within for themselves\u00a0[John 3:1-15].\u00a0<\/b>Those\u00a0used\u00a0to accomplish divine purpose in the Old Creation Testament received the Blessed [empowering] Spirit of God’s BLESSEDNESS UPON them firstly\u00a0–\u00a0without\u00a0living\u00a0WITHIN them\u00a0\u2013 but\u00a0ONLY for them to function and carry out the intent,\u00a0plan, purpose and pursuit of God as they were instructed in all generations\u00a0and dispensations\u00a0until Christ Jesus.\u00a0That\u00a0Is when the Spirit WITHIN comes into being for our BLESSEDNESS within. The Holy Spirit, the third person of the divine trinity,\u00a0was concealed\u00a0–\u00a0not revealed in person except in function- to\u00a0those\u00a0used in the Old Creation Testament.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For there are three that bear record [witness] in heaven, THE Father, THE Word, and THE Holy Ghost: and these three are one”<\/i>\u00a01 John 5:7.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And God’s BLESSEDNESS in\u00a0grace is\u00a0as real as when it\u00a0is being\u00a0carried\u00a0by the spiritual empowering\u00a0of the Holy Spirit, who is\u00a0the\u00a0enabler\u00a0of God, and the ensuring factor that brings God’s promises to physical reality\u00a0–\u00a0tangibility in various formats to all in humanity.\u00a0Unfortunately, most people think that God’s BLESSEDNESS,\u00a0[BLESSINGS] are of the physical,\u00a0[tangible] things they see, feel\/touch, smell, hear and taste; which unfortunately, it\u00a0is not, otherwise it would\u00a0rot, rust, corrupt, decay, degrade, depreciate and\u00a0the\u00a0like, in all things happening under the Sun. And it\u00a0is heavenly secured in God’s hands of righteousness, where Christ is seated and we in grace ARE positioned and\u00a0seated at\u00a0the right hand of the Father God, and it\u00a0is with no earthly corruptions, counterfeits, distortion and adulteration to undermine\u00a0its\u00a0priceless worth in the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED us with all spiritual blessings in HEAVENLY places in Christ . . . 20 which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the HEAVENLY places”<\/i>\u00a0Ephesians 1:3, 20.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And hath raised us up\u00a0together, and\u00a0made us SIT together in HEAVENLY places in Christ Jesus\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Ephesians 2:6.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Lay not up for yourselves TREASURES upon earth, where MOTH and RUST doth CORRUPT, and where THIEVES break through and STEAL: 20 but lay up for yourselves TREASURES IN HEAVEN, where neither MOTH nor RUST doth CORRUPT, and where THIEVES do not BREAK through nor STEAL: 21 for where your TREASURE is, there will your HEART [SPIRIT-BEING] be also”<\/i>\u00a0Matthew 6:19-21.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For God’s enabled BLESSEDNESS,\u00a0[BLESSING] it\u00a0is not accompanied with sorrow and such\u00a0like, but it enriches to all things.\u00a0And it\u00a0is not limited to any to monopolised,\u00a0as it\u00a0is irrespective\u00a0of\u00a0gender, race, colour, tongue, status, class, geographical location,\u00a0etc.\u00a0And it\u00a0is not governed by sentiments,\u00a0prejudice\u00a0and dissimulation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he\u00a0addeth\u00a0no sorrow with it”\u00a0<\/i>Proverbs 10:22.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For the scripture saith,\u00a0Whosoever\u00a0believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is NO DIFFERENCE between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is RICH UNTO ALL that call upon him. 13 For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 10:11-13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said,\u00a0Of\u00a0a truth I perceive that God is NO RESPECTER of persons: 35 but in EVERY NATION he that FEARETH him, and WORKETH RIGHTEOUSNESS, is ACCEPTED with him”\u00a0<\/i>Acts 10:34-35.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that\u00a0hangeth\u00a0on a tree: 14 that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might RECEIVE the PROMISE of the Spirit through faith . . . 26 For ye ARE all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is NEITHER Jew nor Greek, there is NEITHER bond nor free, there is NEITHER male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ\u2019s, then are ye Abraham\u2019s seed, and heirs according to the promise”<\/i>\u00a0Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In same scenario, to BE LED BY THE SPIRIT [HOLY SPIRIT] is another act of the BLESSEDNESS [BLESSING] of God in Christ Jesus. That you live and do life in grace by the leading [being led] of God in every\u00a0one\u00a0of your life decisions, it\u00a0is an awesome, gracious and graceful realm to enjoy of God in order to fulfil purpose in your redemption in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord in humanity knows the virtue of BEING LED of the Spirit, from the onset of His humanity and Ministry until\u00a0the end\u00a0of His\u00a0time in our redemption. He knows it takes the Father God\u2019s\u00a0BLESSEDNESS to function within His perspectives. And because He was BEING LED of the Holy Spirit, He was able to\u00a0fulfil\u00a0the demands of\u00a0the\u00a0Father God for human redemption with no stone left unturned in His humanity\u00a0[Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 4:1\/Luke 4:1-22; Acts 10:38].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Believers\u00a0of God in Christ Jesus can also enjoy the BLESSEDNESS of God in BEING LED of the Holy Spirit.\u00a0It\u00a0is\u00a0God’s given access to ALL in Redemption that are born of God in Christ Jesus\u00a0[Romans 5:1-2, 5-8].<\/b>\u00a0That\u00a0is\u00a0what ensures SONSHIP in God in Christ Jesus.\u00a0[Galatians 4:6-7; Romans 8:14 (8-11, 14-17, 26-40); Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; John 7:37-39; Luke 11:9-13].<\/b>\u00a0And every believer should crave to ensure that they are BEING LED of God, otherwise\u00a0satan\u00a0and\u00a0his\u00a0cohorts will set up\u00a0middlemen\u00a0in religious cloaks and will act religiously as your go-between to God,\u00a0which is unscriptural toward religiosity, dogma, bondage and such like\u00a0[1 Timothy 2:5; Acts 4:12]<\/b>. There are many out there for\u00a0deception, to\u00a0pervert and to deceive others of the truth [Galatians 1:6-9; Jude 1:3-4; Philippians 1:15-18].\u00a0A<\/b>nd BEING LED of the Holy Spirit BLESSEDNESS gives the wisdom from above, to be above only in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0stead. Amen. [James 3:15 (13-18)].\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I PRAY that you will\u00a0rise up\u00a0now in Christ Jesus and thirst and hunger after the BLESSEDNESS of BEING LED by the Holy Spirit of promise – who is the Holy Spirit of the triune [trinity] God\u00a0[1 John 5:7]<\/b>. If you act otherwise, it then means\u00a0you\u00a0have\u00a0set yourself\u00a0readily ready to fall prey and victim before the enemy and cohorts of your faith in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0stead.\u00a0[1 Peter 5:8-9; James 3:13-18].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING ON CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Then was Jesus LED up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil”\u00a0<\/i>Matthew 4:1.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from\u00a0Jordan, and\u00a0was LED by the Spirit into the wilderness . . . 14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all . . . 18 The Spirit of the Lord is UPON me, because he hath ANOINTED me to PREACH the GOSPEL to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the\u00a0brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of\u00a0all\u00a0them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them,\u00a0This\u00a0day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. 22 And all bare him\u00a0witness, and\u00a0wondered at the GRACIOUS WORDS WHICH PROCEEDED OUT OF HIS MOUTH. “How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him”\u00a0<\/i>Acts 10:38\/AMP Classic Edition.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man\u00a0have\u00a0not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you . . . 14 For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself\u00a0beareth\u00a0witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together”\u00a0<\/i>Romans 8:9-11, 14-17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And,\u00a0behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be ENDUED WITH POWER from on high”\u00a0<\/i>Luke 24:49.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But ye shall RECEIVE POWER, after that the Holy Ghost\u00a0is come\u00a0upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all\u00a0Jud\u00e6a, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”\u00a0<\/i>Acts 1:8.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,\u00a0If\u00a0any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of\u00a0living\u00a0water. 39 (But this\u00a0spake\u00a0he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”<\/i>\u00a0John 7:37-39.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom\u00a0descendeth\u00a0not from ABOVE, but is EARTHLY, SENSUAL, DEVILISH. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace”<\/i>\u00a0James 3:13-18.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Old Testament vs New Testament Contrast
        <\/b>Old Testament Creation<\/b>: People were led by men under God \u2014 Prophets, Priests, Kings, Levites. They were \u201cnot born again, not circumcised in the heart\u201d\u00a0[Romans 2:28-29].\u00a0

          Wisdom from Above<\/b>: Being led by the Holy Spirit gives \u201cwisdom from above\u201d \u2014 pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy\u00a0[James 3:15, 17]\u00a0<\/b>\u2014 which keeps the believer \u201cabove only in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
