DEAR CHILD OF GOD: DON’T GO DOWN TO EGYPT [WORLDLY, FLESHLY-RULED WAYS] – IRRESPECTIVE!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Now there was a FAMINE (ECONOMIC CRISIS) in the land [of Canaan], besides the previous FAMINE that had occurred in the days of Abraham.\u00a0So\u00a0Isaac went to Gerar, to Abimelech king of the Philistines. 2 The Lord appeared to him and said, \u201cDO NOT GO DOWN TO EGYPT; stay in the land of which I will tell you . . . 12 Then Isaac SOWED in that land, and RECEIVED in the same year\u00a0an\u00a0HUNDREDFOLD: and the Lord BLESSED him. 13 And the man WAXED great, and went forward, and grew until he BECAME very great: 14 for he had POSSESSION of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines ENVIED him. 15 For all the wells which his father\u2019s servants had\u00a0digged\u00a0in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped\u00a0them, and\u00a0filled them with earth. 16 And Abimelech said unto Isaac,\u00a0Go\u00a0from us; for thou art much mightier than we . . . 22 And he removed from thence, and\u00a0digged\u00a0another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it REHOBOTH; and he said,\u00a0For\u00a0now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be FRUITFUL in the land . . .”<\/i>\u00a0Genesis 26:1-35.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No matter how DEADENED\u00a0and DARKENED\u00a0your situation or circumstances are, or the FAMINE – ECONOMIC CRISIS – in your life, you need to know:\u00a0You are a COVENANT child and you don’t need to\u00a0bewildered to let anything make you GO DOWN TO EGYPT or learn\u00a0their ways [fleshly-ruled and bodily-ruled], as in the world systems as governed\u00a0by\u00a0satan\u00a0and\u00a0his\u00a0cohorts, in order for you to MAKE things easier in your doing life and to live godly.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u00a0don’t\u00a0have to FAKE it until you MAKE it, because our God does not prosper distortion, adulteration and counterfeit and camouflage of\u00a0deception.\u00a0For by the deeds of the flesh [human strength] shall no man prevail with God in Christ Jesus stead\u00a0[1 Samuel 2:7-9; Romans 3:20; Romans 8:13].<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Take the Faith stand in the grace and inform yourself that you ARE in the world, but NOT of the world\u2019s\u00a0ways of doing life – and you are to live godly to prevail with God at the same\u00a0time. For you ARE of God and the GREATER GOD lives in you as\u00a0it’s\u00a0written:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“YOU ARE OF GOD, little children, and have OVERCOME them: BECAUSE GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. 5 THEY ARE OF THE WORLD:\u00a0therefore\u00a0speak they of the WORLD, and the WORLD heareth them. 6 WE ARE OF GOD: he that KNOWETH God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error”\u00a0<\/i>1 John 4:4-6.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For WHATSOEVER IS BORN of God OVERCOMETH THE WORLD: and this is the VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH. 5 Who is he that OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, but he that BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Son of God?”<\/i>\u00a01 John 5:4-5.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, by the enabling GRACE and the POWER of the GREATER one inside you, you can confront your situation, that is to say, that\u00a0MOUNTAIN or VALLEY or ROUGH places or CROOKED roads of your life can be overcome triumphantly. This is by pondering on God’s WORD – that is, MEDITATING, on the covenant WILL of God in your REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus\u00a0concerning\u00a0that subject MATTER; and this is based on your belief\u00a0and faith on the WORD, as led by the Blessed Holy Spirit, in order to make and ensure your way to the PROSPERITY and GOOD SUCCESS in God’s PURPOSE for you as in the holy writ Scriptures\u00a0[Joshua 1:8-9; 3 John 1:2; Psalms 1:1-3]<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0God’s plan,\u00a0purpose\u00a0and pursuit is to ensure that in famine He gives the needed wisdom to excel, be satisfied,\u00a0and\u00a0stay above all odds,\u00a0and to sustain\u00a0and\u00a0prosper you by Himself\u00a0in the midst of\u00a0challenging and changing times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“He shall DELIVER thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. 20 IN FAMINE HE SHALL REDEEM THEE FROM DEATH: AND IN WAR FROM THE POWER OF THE SWORD. 21 Thou shalt\u00a0be\u00a0HID from the SCOURGE of the TONGUE: neither shalt thou be AFRAID OF DESTRUCTION when it cometh. 22 At DESTRUCTION and FAMINE thou shalt LAUGH: neither shalt thou be AFRAID of the BEASTS of the earth. 23 For thou shalt be in LEAGUE with the stones of the field: and the BEASTS of the field shall be at PEACE with thee”<\/i>\u00a0Job 5:19-23.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Behold, the EYE of the Lord is UPON them that FEAR [REVERENCE] him, upon them that HOPE in his mercy; 19 to DELIVER their soul from death, and to keep them ALIVE IN FAMINE. 20 Our soul WAITETH for the Lord: he is our HELP and our SHIELD”<\/i>\u00a0Psalms 33:18-20.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . The Lord KNOWETH the days of the upright: and their INHERITANCE shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be ASHAMED in the EVIL TIME: AND IN THE DAYS OF\u00a0FAMINE\u00a0THEY SHALL BE SATISFIED . . . 23 The STEPS OF A GOOD MAN ARE ORDERED BY THE LORD: AND HE DELIGHTETH IN HIS WAY. 24 Though he FALL, he shall not be UTTERLY cast down: for the Lord UPHOLDETH him with his hand”\u00a0<\/i>Psalms 37:18-19, 23-24.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon the knowledge and understanding\u00a0of God’s\u00a0WORD in\u00a0Scriptural context\u00a0to\u00a0ENSURE you become\u00a0PARTAKER\u00a0of\u00a0God\u2019s blessedness\u00a0in Christ Jesus, I say to you today:\u00a0Be STRONG and very COURAGEOUS in the Lord,\u00a0because your VICTORY and TRIUMPH\u00a0are\u00a0certain. It is your right in grace,\u00a0in Christ Jesus stead, just\u00a0as\u00a0the Scriptures\u00a0declare\u00a0[Joshua 1:1-9 and Isaiah 40:3-5 and 1 John 5:3-5].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the scriptural context of\u00a0Genesis 26:1-16<\/b>, EGYPT stands for one’s STATE of – unbelief, backsliding, famine, economic crisis, hunger, joblessness, hopelessness, faithlessness, lovelessness, setbacks, failures, pain, hurt, depression, the unbeliever\u2019s\u00a0ways of doing life and such like. And, as a child of God, it thus means that you\u00a0don’t\u00a0need to FAKE it to make and achieve greatness in LIFE and GODLINESS. Therefore, DARE TO BELIEVE in God’s WORD and act upon it in FAITH, and you will BECOME\u00a0just\u00a0as the covenant Isaac BECAME when he acted\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0covenant will of God’s WORD concerning him when the opportunity to act on God’s WORD showed\u00a0up to deal with the economic crisis that almost bewildered him.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are on the RED LIGHT of life, please stop and take a\u00a0pause, take time to ponder on the WORD of grace, and patiently wait through the AMBER LIGHT until the GREEN LIGHT of FAITH shows up – then go and BECOME as you are LED of God by the Holy Spirit in His WORD accordingly\u00a0[Genesis 26:12-16].\u00a0<\/b>For in your good works, God knows,\u00a0and He\u00a0is\u00a0not\u00a0unrighteous or unfaithful or unthankful\u00a0or ungrateful to\u00a0forget.\u00a0\u00a0He\u00a0wants you to keep sure in diligence and not be slothful in business, but to be an imitator and follower of those who through faith inherit their promised BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For God is not unjust so as to FORGET your work and the love which you have SHOWN for His name in MINISTERING to [the needs of] the saints (God\u2019s people), AS YOU DO. 11 And we DESIRE for each one of you to SHOW the same DILIGENCE [all the way through] so as to realize and enjoy the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you will not be [spiritually] SLUGGISH, but [will instead be] IMITATORS of those who through FAITH [lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power] and by PATIENT endurance [even when suffering] are [now] INHERITING the PROMISES”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 6:10-12\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u00a0is my\u00a0wishes and PRAYERS for you today, that you may experience the BLESSEDNESS of God in times of your challenges in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For God, who commanded the LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED IN OUR HEARTS, to Give\u00a0The\u00a0Light\u00a0Of\u00a0The\u00a0Knowledge of the glory of God in the FACE of Jesus Christ”<\/i>\u00a02 Corinthians 4:6.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Now there was a FAMINE (ECONOMIC CRISIS) in the land [of Canaan], besides the previous FAMINE that had occurred in the days of Abraham.\u00a0So\u00a0Isaac went to Gerar, to Abimelech king of the Philistines. 2 The Lord APPEARED to him and said, \u201cDO NOT GO DOWN TO EGYPT; stay in the land of which I will tell you. 3 Live temporarily [as a resident] in this land and I will be with you and will BLESS and FAVOR you, for I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants, and I will ESTABLISH and carry out the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. 4 I will make your descendants MULTIPLY as the stars of the\u00a0heavens, and\u00a0will give to your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants shall all the nations of the earth be BLESSED, 5 because Abraham LISTENED to and OBEYED My voice and [consistently] kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.\u201d . . . 12 Then Isaac PLANTED [seed] in that land [as a farmer] and REAPED in the same year a hundred times [as much as he had planted], and the Lord BLESSED and FAVORED him. 13 And the man [Isaac] BECAME great and gained\u00a0more and more\u00a0until he BECAME very wealthy and extremely distinguished; 14 he OWNED flocks and herds and a great household [with\u00a0a number of\u00a0servants], and the Philistines ENVIED him. 15 Now all the wells which his father\u2019s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines stopped up by filling them with dirt. 16 Then Abimelech said to Isaac, \u201cGo away from here, because you are far too powerful for us.\u201d 17 So Isaac left that region and camped in the Valley of Gerar, and settled there”<\/i>\u00a0Genesis 26:1-5, 12-16 Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS WILL, he heareth us: 15 and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him”<\/i>\u00a01 John 5:14-15.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“CAST NOT AWAY THEREFORE YOUR CONFIDENCE, which hath great\u00a0recompence\u00a0of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man\u00a0draw\u00a0back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe\u00a0to\u00a0the saving of the soul”\u00a0<\/i>Hebrews 10:35-39.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“BE STRONG AND OF A GOOD COURAGE: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I\u00a0sware\u00a0unto their fathers to give them. 7 Only be thou STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou\u00a0goest. 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way\u00a0prosperous, and\u00a0then thou shalt have good success. 9 Have not I commanded thee? SUMMARY:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The message is\u00a0Based on\u00a0Genesis 26:1-35,<\/b>\u00a0the central instruction is:\u00a0DO NOT GO DOWN TO EGYPT.<\/b>\u00a0When Isaac faced famine\/economic crisis, God\u2019s command\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0to escape, but to\u00a0stay, obey, and sow<\/b>\u00a0in the land He directed. The result was Isaac sowed, received a\u00a0hundredfold,<\/b>\u00a0became very great, and came to\u00a0Rehoboth \u2014 room\/space\u00a0<\/b>[Gen\u00a026:12-13, 22].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Definition of \u201cEgypt\u201d<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>
    In covenant context,\u00a0Egypt<\/b> represents\u00a0a state of unbelief, backsliding, famine, economic crisis, hunger, joblessness, hopelessness, faithlessness, setbacks, pain, depression, and the unbeliever\u2019s ways of doing life. Going to Egypt means adopting world systems ruled by flesh and\u00a0satan.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Covenant identity in crisis<\/b>
    <\/span>As a\u00a0Covenant child<\/b>, you\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0need to be bewildered into Egypt or \u201cfake it till you make it.\u201d God does not prosper distortion, counterfeit, or deception.\u00a0<\/span>By the deeds of the flesh no man prevails with God<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>[1 Sam 2:9; Rom 8:13]<\/b>. You are\u00a0<\/span>in the world but not of the world\u2019s ways<\/b>. Because<\/span>\u00a0the Greater One lives in you<\/b>\u00a0[1 John 4:4],<\/span>\u00a0whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world \u2014 even our faith<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>[1 John 5:4].<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. How to overcome mountains\/valleys<\/b>
    <\/span>By the enabling\u00a0Grace<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Power<\/b>\u00a0of the Greater One inside you, mountains, valleys, crooked roads, and rough places can be overcome triumphantly. This happens through pondering\/meditating on\u00a0<\/span>God\u2019s Word\u00a0<\/b>\u2014 the covenant will of God in your redemption in Christ Jesus concerning your subject matter. Based on\u00a0<\/span>belief\u00a0plus\u00a0faith<\/b>\u00a0in the Word, led by the Holy Spirit, your way is made for\u00a0<\/span>prosperity and good success<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>[Joshua 1:8-9; Psalm 1:1-3].<\/b>\u00a0God\u2019s plan in famine is to give wisdom to excel, be satisfied, stay above odds, and sustain\/prosper you Himself\u00a0<\/span>[Job 5:20; Psalm 33:19; Psalm 37:19].<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The Isaac pattern: Dare to believe \u2192 Act \u2192 Become<\/b>
    <\/span>Isaac refused Egypt. When the opportunity to act on God\u2019s Word appeared during crisis, he acted on the covenant will of God concerning him. He became just as the covenant Isaac\u00a0became\u00a0great, distinguished, and envied for God\u2019s blessing\u00a0[Gen\u00a026:13-14]<\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0Dare to believe God\u2019s Word, act on it in faith, and you will become.<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. The traffic-light principle for waiting<\/b>
    <\/span>If\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0at the\u00a0Red Light<\/b>\u00a0of life: stop, pause, and ponder the Word of grace. Through the<\/span>\u00a0Amber Light:<\/b>\u00a0wait patiently. When the\u00a0<\/span>Green Light of Faith<\/b>\u00a0shows up: go and become as led by the Holy Spirit in His Word<\/span>\u00a0[Gen\u00a026:12-16]<\/b>. God is\u00a0not unrighteous\u00a0to forget your work\u00a0<\/span>[Heb\u00a06:10]<\/b>. Stay diligent, not slothful, and imitate those who through\u00a0<\/span>faith\u00a0plus\u00a0patience inherit promises<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>[Heb\u00a06:11-12].<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
  6. The courage declaration<\/b>
    <\/span>Upon knowledge and understanding of God\u2019s Word in scriptural context, become a\u00a0partaker of God\u2019s blessedness in Christ Jesus.\u00a0Be strong and very courageous in the\u00a0Lord<\/b>, because\u00a0your\u00a0<\/span>victory and triumph are certain.<\/b>\u00a0It is your right in grace, in Christ Jesus, just as Scripture declares\u00a0<\/span>[Joshua 1:6-9; Isaiah 40:3-5].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
