THE CHOICE OF BEING FULFILLED IN CHRIST: TO BEING FULFILLED IN LIFE AND GODLINESS – VERSUS – BEING SUCCESSFUL!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“And say to Archippus, TAKE HEED to the MINISTRY which thou hast RECEIVED in the Lord, that thou FULFIL it”<\/i>\u00a0Colossians 4:17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not DISOBEDIENT unto the HEAVENLY VISION”<\/i>\u00a0Acts 26:19.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Obedience to the heavenly mandate have a lot to do with FULFILMENT in Life and godliness in Christ Jesus. And the choice of being FULFILLED in life and godliness (godly living) is one great factor worth considering in the race of being SUCCESSFUL.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Can you afford to move\u00a0from a place in pursuit of GLAMOUR SUCCESS TO A DESERT PLACE IN LIFE?\u00a0Yet\u00a0such\u00a0could be a place of FULFILLMENT indeed.\u00a0It’s\u00a0about following God’s approved PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT for your life and\u00a0possible ministry\u00a0rather than just having a mere SUCCESS for men\u00a0to\u00a0applaud.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A person in pursuit of MERE SUCCESS inclination will find it extremely difficult to leave a GLAMOUR place (position) to attend to a single-person ministry,\u00a0especially to one in\u00a0a\u00a0DESERT (remote) place,\u00a0as accomplished by Philip the Evangelist (Acts 21:8)<\/b>\u00a0as instructed by the Lord God. And such obedience to DIVINE order and instructions is only possible\u00a0for\u00a0a person of and for FULFILMENT; that\u00a0is a follower of God’s plan, purpose and pursuit – the one who truly believes\u00a0in WHOLENESS and will go WHEREVER the Lord LEADS,\u00a0as Philip did in\u00a0Acts 8<\/b>\u00a0– “OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE”.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WHAT IS YOUR WORTH IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS?\u00a0or\u00a0How\u00a0do you\u00a0MEASURE your\u00a0WORTH in life and godly living in Christ Jesus?\u00a0Is it by material achievement called SUCCESS,\u00a0or by being ACCOMPLISHED in God’s given vision and mission called FULFILMENT in His assignment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you just a mere crazy SUCCESS driven inclination\u00a0person,\u00a0or a person of FULFILMENT in the heavenly assignment?\u00a0Note for sure that SUCCESS is good and\u00a0it’s\u00a0of God\u00a0(Joshua 1:8)<\/b>. Unlike success, FULFILMENT is not just of God, but\u00a0it’s\u00a0a place of being readily,\u00a0willingly\u00a0and obediently set to\u00a0accomplish\u00a0the wholeness, completeness and fulfilling of the Lord’s – PLANS, PURPOSES and PURSUITS – in LIFE and GODLY living. Doing this unhindered and uncompromised with anything\u00a0outside God’s intent, as Apostle Paul did in obedience (Philippians 3:1-16)<\/b>, and\u00a0as he\u00a0exhorted,\u00a0admonished and charged Archippus to likewise do also as written in the Holy Writ of\u00a0Colossians 4:17 and Acts 26:19.\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0about living a God DRIVEN PURPOSE LIFE, that brings about MEANINGFUL FULFILLMENT in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus, which is far beyond – just being SUCCESSFUL.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FULFILMENT is in CONTINUOUS OBEDIENCE to God’s APPROVED plan,\u00a0purpose\u00a0and pursuit. And OBEDIENCE to the heavenly mandate is far better than SACRIFICE –\u00a0Isaiah 1:19; 1 Samuel 15:23.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And say to Archippus, TAKE HEED to the MINISTRY which thou hast RECEIVED in the Lord, that thou FULFIL it”<\/i>\u00a0Colossians 4:17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“If ye be WILLING and OBEDIENT, ye shall EAT the GOOD of the LAND”<\/i>\u00a0Isaiah 1:19.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“If they OBEY and SERVE him, they shall spend their DAYS in PROSPERITY, and their YEARS in PLEASURES. 12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge”\u00a0<\/i>Job 36:11-12.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For REBELLION is as the SIN of WITCHCRAFT, and STUBBORNNESS is as INIQUITY and IDOLATRY. Because thou hast rejected THE WORD of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee\u00a0from being king”<\/i>\u00a01 Samuel 15:23.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way\u00a0PROSPEROUS, and\u00a0then thou shalt have GOOD SUCCESS”<\/i>\u00a0Joshua 1:8.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SUMMARY:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The message is<\/b>\u00a0a Kingdom charge that asks us to\u00a0choose\u00a0FULFILMENT in CHRIST<\/b>\u00a0or\u00a0SUCCESS the world chases<\/b>. God wants us EARTHLY USEFUL and HEAVENLY MINDED. The key is\u00a0OBEYING GOD\u2019S CALL\u00a0<\/b>\u2014 like Jesus, Paul, Philip, and Archippus did.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. THE BIG POINT: FULFILMENT IS BETTER THAN SUCCESS<\/b>\u00a0
    FULFILMENT vs SUCCESS:<\/b>\u00a0FULFILMENT means being COMPLETE and WHOLE in LIFE and GODLINESS through Christ. SUCCESS means big achievements, money, titles that men clap for.\u00a0
    WHAT ARE YOU WORTH TO\u00a0GOD?<\/b>\u00a0God does not measure you by cars, houses, or titles. He measures you by how well you FINISH the WORK and\u00a0PURPOSE\u00a0He gave you\u00a0[Col 4:17; Acts 26:19].<\/b>\u00a0
    BOTH ARE\u00a0FROM GOD, BUT FULFILMENT GOES DEEPER:<\/b>\u00a0SUCCESS is GOOD and\u00a0FROM GOD\u00a0[Joshua 1:8]<\/b>. But FULFILMENT is when you are READY, WILLING, and OBEDIENT to do ALL of God\u2019s PLAN for your LIFE without cutting corners\u00a0[Phil 3:1-16].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. GOD\u2019S COMMAND: OBEY HIS CALL
      <\/b>BIBLE COMMAND:<\/b>\u00a0\u201cTAKE HEED to the MINISTRY you\u00a0RECEIVED, and\u00a0FULFIL IT\u201d\u00a0[Col 4:17]<\/b>. Paul said, \u201cI was NOT DISOBEDIENT to the HEAVENLY VISION\u201d\u00a0[Acts 26:19].<\/b>\u00a0
      WHAT IT MEANS<\/b>: FULFILMENT comes\u00a0from DAILY OBEDIENCE to God\u2019s PLAN,\u00a0PURPOSE\u00a0and PURSUIT.\u00a0
      WHY OBEDIENCE MATTERS<\/b>: God said OBEDIENCE is BETTER than SACRIFICE\u00a0[1 Sam 15:23; Isa 1:19]<\/b>. REBELLION is as bad as WITCHCRAFT\u00a0[1 Sam 15:23].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. THE SURPRISING TRUTH:FROM BIG PLACE TO DESERT PLACE
        <\/b>GOD\u2019S STRANGE WAY:<\/b>\u00a0\u201cCAN YOU LEAVE A PLACE OF GLAMOUR SUCCESS FOR A DESERT PLACE IN LIFE? YET THAT DESERT PLACE CAN BE YOUR PLACE OF FULFILMENT.\u201d What looks like loss to men can be God\u2019s best for you.\u00a0
        PHILIP\u2019S\u00a0STORY [Acts 8:1-40; Acts 21:8]:<\/b>\u00a0Philip was in SAMARIA with \u201cGREAT JOY\u201d \u2014 miracles, healings, crowds. But God said, \u201cGo to the DESERT,\u00a0Gaza Road\u201d.\u00a0He left the crowd to preach to ONE MAN, the Ethiopian eunuch. That is FULFILMENT.\u00a0
        WHO CAN DO\u00a0THIS?<\/b>\u00a0Only a person who LOVES WHOLENESS and is ready to GO WHEREVER THE LORD LEADS \u2014 \u201cOBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE\u201d.\u00a0A SUCCESS-chaser will find it HARD to leave BIG POSITION for ONE PERSON in a VILLAGE.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. PEOPLE WHO LIVED IT
          <\/b>JESUS:<\/b>\u00a0\u201cA MAN APPROVED OF GOD\u201d by signs and wonders\u00a0[Acts 2:22].<\/b>\u00a0His whole life was doing\u00a0the Father\u2019s\u00a0PURPOSE.\u00a0
          APOSTLE PAUL:\u00a0<\/b>He lived 100% for God\u2019s PLAN without compromise\u00a0[Phil 3:1-16].<\/b>\u00a0
          ARCHIPPUS<\/b>: Paul told him, \u201cFULFIL the ministry God gave you\u201d\u00a0[Col 4:17].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              THE LIFE GOD WANTS:<\/b>\u00a0A GOD-DRIVEN LIFE that gives MEANINGFUL FULFILMENT in GOD\u2019S BLESSEDNESS \u2014 far better than just being SUCCESSFUL.\u00a0
              PAUSE AND THINK \u2014 SELAH:<\/b>\u00a0The message ends with Bible verses to help you check yourself and return to OBEDIENCE.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
