LIV<\/span>IN<\/span>G\u00a0<\/span>ON THE MERCY OF GOD: HAVE MERCY ON US THEY PRAYED<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, THE FATHER OF MERCIES, and the God of all comfort”<\/i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>2 Corinthians 1:3.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In my Book – FAITH IN GOD’S ANOINTED, I have defined MERCY to mean the divine kindness that offsets divine judgement for obvious and non-obvious faults and mistakes, as we do life and godly\u00a0living\u00a0in God’s grace.\u00a0And\u00a0it is the MERCIES of God that enables one to do life beyond the ordinary and human comprehension with – and\u00a0in the midst of\u00a0– all forms of human limitations\u00a0around\u00a0us. For in the cause of time in our respective lifestyles, we frail being humans and may have fallen into circumstances or be in state or phase of life that only by divine mercy can we be free from such situation. Just as the Psalms will say that the good and faithful,\u00a0true\u00a0and sure God knows our frail and frames, and it is\u00a0living\u00a0under the cover of His MERCIES that we can keep up and keep on keeping on.\u00a0And Apostle Paul knew the importance of\u00a0living\u00a0under the MERCIES of God when he wrote to the Corinthians Church about how\u00a0God’s MERCIES\u00a0kept him going\u00a0from\u00a0fainting,\u00a0getting\u00a0discouraged,\u00a0or losing\u00a0motivation in this writ:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as we RECEIVED MERCY [from God, granting us salvation, opportunities, and blessings], we do not FAINT – get discouraged nor lose our motivation”<\/i>\u00a02 Corinthians 4:1.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Two blind men seek after Father God’s MERCY in Christ Jesus for them to receive their sight. They followed Him all the way to the house He was visiting – what a determination for God’s MERCY by\u00a0these two blinds\u00a0persons. I supposed they might have seen Jesus earlier and He did nothing, probably passed them bye, but they REFUSED to take a NO for an ANSWER, then decided to APPEAL to Him on His nature and character, which speaks of His personality in PRAYERS, by saying only – “HAVE MERCY ON US”\u00a0Matthew 9:27-31<\/b>. There\u00a0wasn’t\u00a0any special night vigil or special prayer meeting or any obeying or following some of the keys or steps to breakthrough as religion and denomination has taught us to follow\u00a0in order to\u00a0ensure one receive the most desired helped from God. All that the two blind men was to do was to BELIEVE on Him who shows MERCY for MERCY, as He’s the Father of all MERCIES. And when they did, against all odds for\u00a0this blind men, they BECAME what they BELIEVE as it was said – ACCORDINGLY TO YOUR FAITH, BECOME WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND EXPECTED\u00a0as a consequence of\u00a0God’s MERCY.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, Jesus is the WORD. And you must come to the reality in knowing that what Jesus would have done for you literally if He was physically present here in humanity is what the WORD is meant to do for you today. Just as the two blind men where specific of what they want on the MERCY of God, they followed Him, meaning the word,\u00a0and they received their desired answers accordingly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I want you to know that\u00a0there’s\u00a0nothing stopping\u00a0you\u00a0from\u00a0having and becoming in Christ Jesus\u00a0what your heart\u00a0desires\u00a0and expects. Our Father God of MERCIES is here with us. Just lift your voice to Him\u00a0and say – “HAVE MERCY ON\u00a0ME” in all sincerity,\u00a0in the name of Jesus\u2019\u00a0Christ. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is of the Lord\u2019s MERCIES that we are NOT CONSUMED, because his COMPASSIONS FAIL NOT”<\/i>\u00a0Lamentations 3:22.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, HAVE MERCY ON US. 28 And when he\u00a0was come\u00a0into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe Ye That I Am Able\u00a0To\u00a0Do This? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then\u00a0touched he\u00a0their eyes, saying, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH BE IT UNTO YOU. 30 And their EYES were OPENED; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying,\u00a0See\u00a0that no man know it. 31 But they, when they were\u00a0departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country”<\/i>\u00a0Matthew 9:27-31.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I WILL HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I WILL HAVE COMPASSION. 16 SO THEN IT IS NOT OF HIM THAT WILLETH, NOR OF HIM THAT RUNNETH, BUT OF GOD THAT SHEWETH MERCY. 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh,\u00a0Even\u00a0for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he\u00a0hardeneth\u00a0. . . 23 and that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24 even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved . . .”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 9:1-33<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The message is all about\u00a0LIVING\u00a0ON THE MERCY OF GOD<\/i><\/b>\u00a0\u2014 experiencing God’s kindness and compassion that offsets judgement, enables overcoming limitations, and brings breakthrough.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Our Father God of MERCIES is here. Just lift your voice to Him and say – “HAVE MERCY ON ME” in all sincerity, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
