JUNE 2026 THEME – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”: THE NEED TO \u201cHAVE FAITH IN GOD\u201d IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“God is FAITHFUL [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise\u2014He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into FELLOWSHIP with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord”<\/i>\u00a01 Corinthians 1:9\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To \u201cHAVE FAITH IN GOD\u201d is to\u00a0trust\u00a0in God\u2019s faithfulness to Himself, reflecting\u00a0His nature\u00a0faithfulness through the\u00a0grace in Christ Jesus stead. Our God is FAITHFUL\u00a0– that\u00a0is His NATURE.\u00a0He\u2019s\u00a0a\u00a0God of FAITHFULNESS \u2013 He lives within Himself \u2013 His NATURE – being FAITHFUL in FAITHFULNESS in the grace. And as such, in achieving life\u2019s goals with God in Christ Jesus stead, it would be great for you to look at the nature of God\u00a0regarding\u00a0FAITHFULNESS as found of Him. And having Faith in God as a Faithful God gives the leverage in doing life and living godly in the grace. And it also encompasses God\u2019s faithfulness to keep to His promises and covenant TO you in Christ Jesus stead,\u00a0in the grace.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“FAITHFUL and ABSOLUTELY TRUSTWORTHY is He who is CALLING you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will FULFILL His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]” <\/i>1 Thessalonians 5:24\/Amplified.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY and FAITHFUL [to His word]”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 10:23\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy FAITHFULNESS to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy FAITHFULNESS shalt thou\u00a0establish\u00a0in the very heavens. 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 thy seed will I\u00a0establish\u00a0for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy FAITHFULNESS also in the congregation of the saints . . .\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Psalms 89:1-52.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There’s\u00a0the need to note this importantly, that God DOES not have direct promises or covenant as some would like to proclaim WITH us; but He DOES have direct promises or covenant TO us and FOR us IN Christ Jesus stead. Meaning, that God DOES have promises and covenant WITH Jesus Christ, on our behalf in the grace. This highlights the IMPORTANCE of having\u00a0FAITH\u00a0IN\u00a0Christ Jesus toward the Father God, from whom ALL BLESSEDNESS comes, as Christ Jesus is the embodiment of our redemption rights and privileges in the grace. So,\u00a0when we talk about\u00a0God’s covenants\u00a0and\u00a0promises,\u00a0they\u00a0ARE NOT DIRECTLY with us,\u00a0but with Jesus,\u00a0on our behalf,\u00a0to us,\u00a0in the grace.\u00a0This understanding is key, as seen in the book of Philemon\u00a0and other\u00a0New Testament\u00a0Scriptures, emphasising\u00a0faith toward God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus”<\/i>\u00a0Philemon 1:6.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ”<\/i>\u00a0Acts 20:20-21\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But as God is FAITHFUL, our word to you was not Yes and No. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was PREACHED among you by us\u2014by me, Silvanus, and Timothy\u2014was not Yes and No, but in Him was YES. 20 For all the PROMISES of God in Him are YES, and in Him AMEN, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who\u00a0establishes\u00a0us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee<\/i>”\u00a02 Corinthians 1:18-22\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some attributes of God in His faithful nature and faithfulness;\u00a0this is to\u00a0enable us\u00a0see\u00a0the reason and gracious essence to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” as in this writ context but not limited\u00a0to:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. God is FAITHFUL to Himself.\u00a02 Timothy 2:13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. God is FAITHFUL to His Word and promises.\u00a0Hebrews 10:23.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. God is FAITHFUL to His relationship.\u00a01 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 8:28-30.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. God is FAITHFUL to forgive.\u00a01 John 1:9 (5-10).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. God is FAITHFUL in agreement.\u00a0Deuteronomy 7:9.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. God is FAITHFUL to\u00a0establish\u00a0and deliver.\u00a01 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. God is FAITHFUL to\u00a0accomplish\u00a0His part in the assignment that He gives to us.\u00a01 Thessalonians 5:24.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. God is the\/a FAITHFUL creator.\u00a01 Peter 4:19.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    God is FAITHFUL, and His FAITHFULNESS\u00a0is\u00a0ever sure and true as in the Holy Writ.\u00a0You\u00a0need\u00a0to\u00a0take time to\u00a0search the scriptures and\u00a0find God\u00a0everywhere\u00a0therein. So, I\u00a0encourage\u00a0you to kindly read the HOLY BIBLE to know\u00a0more of Him,\u00a0in being faithful and\u00a0how to walk in\u00a0faith as\u00a0shown in scriptures\u00a0like:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “You SEARCH the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which TESTIFY of Me”<\/i>\u00a0John 5:39\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cYou are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God”\u00a0<\/i>Matthew 22:29\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and SEARCHED the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed,\u00a0and also\u00a0not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men”<\/i>\u00a0Acts 17:10-13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    One thing is certain in life and that is \u2013 LIKE BEGAT LIKE. A tree\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0give birth to an animal or mammal. A Lion\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0give birth to a Leopard, nor a Goat give birth to a Sheep even in their proximity of likeness or characteristics. And our God of godliness, wants His redeemed children of godliness to do life and live godly in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u201cGrace and peace be MULTIPLIED unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath GIVEN unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto LIFE and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath CALLED us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are GIVEN unto us EXCEEDING GREAT and PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust\u201d<\/i>\u00a02 Peter 1:2-4.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    One need to know full well that we are the offspring of God, the sheep of His pasture according to the Scriptures \u2013\u00a0[[Acts 17:24-29; Psalms 100:3; 1 John 4:17-18); (John 10:34-35; Psalms 82:6; Genesis 3:5)].<\/b>\u00a0It then means that we can live a FAITHFUL life and achieve good successes with God when we dare. The other reason that we can achieve success is because we are the seed of Abraham \u2013 who was FAITHFUL and prospered when he dares. The same grace is available to us today despite our challenges to be FAITHFUL and to prosper in Christ Jesus stead.\u00a02 Peter 1:2-4; Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. (See Genesis 13:2; 24:1).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Considering the above-mentioned nature of God in being FAITHFUL, you can bank on His FAITHFULNESS in His grace and BLESSEDNESS; this will give you the enabling leverage to abound the more, in sharing and partaking of His promises in the REDEMPTION DEED, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. And you can now have a reason to see the need to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in Christ Jesus stead, in the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Be Blessed accordingly. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    SELAH \u2013 PAUSE AND THINK.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING AND PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if\u00a0perhaps He\u00a0would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, \u201cLet no one eat fruit from you ever again.\u201d And His disciples heard it . . . 20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, \u201cRabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.\u201d 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cHAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, \u2018Be removed and be cast into the sea,\u2019 and does not doubt in his heart [Human Spirit], but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, BELIEVE that you receive them, and you will have them”<\/i>\u00a0Mark 11:12-14, 20-24\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “When Jesus\u00a0departed\u00a0from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, \u201cSon of David, have mercy on us!\u201d 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, \u201cDo you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?\u201d They said to Him, \u201cYes, Lord.\u201d 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, \u201cACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE [BECOME] TO YOU.\u201d 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, \u201cSee that no one knows it.\u201d 31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country”<\/i>\u00a0Matthew 9:27-31\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
