THE CHARISMATIC GIFTS: THESE GIFTS ARE GIVEN TO EDIFY [BUILD UP, MATURE, COMPLETE AND PROFIT] ALL IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CALLINGS AND SKILLS\/TALENTS [ABILITY]!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“There are DIVERSITIES OF GIFTS, but the same Spirit. 5 There are DIFFERENCES OF MINISTRIES, but the same Lord. 6 And there are DIVERSITIES OF ACTIVITIES, but it is the same God who works\u00a0all in all. 7 But the MANIFESTATION of the Spirit is GIVEN TO EACH ONE FOR THE PROFIT OF ALL”<\/i>\u00a01 Corinthians 12:4-7 NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

About a week ago, I went out to get a replacement pressing Iron for the house while on my way to doing the day\u2019s schedule and activities. My\u00a0natural instinct\u00a0was to go to the same shopping centre where we bought the last one, knowing it was good and had lasted in use for a while. And as I drove into the parking lot of the shopping mall, I heard a voice within me – the Holy Spirit saying I should check the MOBILE APP of another shop in another shopping centre location, which\u00a0wasn’t\u00a0part of\u00a0my plan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So, I checked the MOBILE APP like I was instructed, to see the kind of the pressing Iron I intended. And when I did, I went into the shopping mall\u00a0I\u2019d\u00a0just parked at, with the MOBILE APP was still active on my phone to compare. To my awesome surprise – lo and behold – the exact pressing Iron was there on App. But there was a problem – 10% difference in the prices and the warranty terms differed compared to the shop the Holy Spirit told me to check while I was in the parking lot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And since prudence is the scriptural essence, I left for the shopping mall of the MOBILE APP like I was informed and instructed by the Holy Spirit while at the parking lot\u00a0–\u00a0 for\u00a0the price difference and better warranty too. I found PEACE in that obedience and SAVINGS in cost of buying plus ASSURANCE of the needed warranty for my purchase. The essence of the CHARISMATIC GIFTS in us is at WORK within me, leading and guiding as in our REDEMPTION bill of rights and privileges in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead. Amen. The essence is\u00a0just about living\u00a0and doing life by OBEYING THE INSTRUCTIONS of the Holy Spirit as given through the CHARISMATIC GIFTS within you, which are of Him as written in the Holy Writ of 1 John 2:20, 27.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But ye have an UNCTION from the Holy One, and ye know all things . . . 27 But the ANOINTING which ye have RECEIVED of him ABIDETH in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the SAME ANOINTING TEACHETH you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him”\u00a0<\/i>1 John 2:20, 27<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why is the story of the pressing Iron important? Does it matter? Won’t common sense tell me I should have done that check earlier, anyway, before leaving home? Whatever,\u00a0what’s\u00a0important in the whole sum:\u00a0there’s\u00a0an answer\u00a0in ESSENCE to\u00a0any of our situation and circumstances. It\u00a0indicates\u00a0that no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in\u00a0– knowingly\u00a0or unknowingly – the PRESENCE of the\u00a0CHARISMATIC GIFTS of the Holy Spirit within us WORKS.\u00a0\u00a0And that PRESENCE in our Christian life is to help build up, complete, and mature our triune being in every way and everywhere. While we make daily decisions in our callings, skills\/talents [ability], in fulfilling purpose, while doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When you get BORN AGAIN (giving your whole being to believe in God through the redemption act of Christ Jesus as your Saviour and Lord) and be BAPTISED with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit in essence comes along with His CHARISMATIC GIFTS to dwell in you – to help build you up, complete you, and mature your\u00a0wellbeing\u00a0in humanity. In respect of doing live and living godly through\u00a0any and all\u00a0of these (but not limited to):\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Your Spiritual CALLINGS (Ministerial\/Others) – Romans 8:28-30, 1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12:27-30; Ephesians 4:11. Numbers 11:24-30; 1 John 2:20, 27.<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Your Human SKILLS\/TALENTS (ABILITY) – Daniel 1:17; Ecclesiastes 9:11; 2 Chronicles 34:12; 2 Chronicles 2:7-8; Nehemiah 5:8; Proverbs 18:15-16; 1 John 2:20, 27.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Just for clarification, each and every one of the believing ones in Christ Jesus is given the charismatic gifts by THE MEASURE of God’s grace and not by A MEASURE, according to the given callings and skills\/talent (ability) that we are respectively involved in our doing life and godliness.\u00a0Romans 12:3; Ephesians 4:7; 1 John 2:20, 27<\/b>. It thus means you have all it takes within you by the Holy Spirit to do life and live godly unlimitedly, except you chose to frustrate such endowed grace that’s given to you to be built up and mature in humanity\u00a0like\u00a0some who misuses their opportunities for righteous cause – Galatians 2:21; Romans 1:18.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “I do not FRUSTRATE (SET ASIDE) the GRACE of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain”<\/i>\u00a0Galatians 2:21 Emphasis Mine.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who SUPPRESS the TRUTH in unrighteousness”\u00a0<\/i>Romans 1:18 NKJV\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Now, know that when Christ Jesus led CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE in His ascending to the heavenly, in the CAUSE of our REDEMPTION, He RECEIVED gifts and GAVE these gifts to us (as explained in some of my past posts).\u00a0Psalms 68:18; Ephesians 4:8-10; Revelation 12:9-12.\u00a0<\/b>One aspect of the GIFT is the gift of the comforter, teacher, helper and more – the blessed Holy Spirit –\u00a0Ephesians 1 :11-14; John 14:15-17, 26; Luke 24:49; Joel 2:28-32; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-20; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7; Romans 8:26-27<\/b>. And the Holy Spirit comes with the CHARISMATIC GIFTS (which could be called SPIRITUAL GIFTS). I used the CHARISMATIC GIFTS to differentiate because everything God gave us in Christ Jesus comes spiritual, which by our act of FAITH in obedience to such gifts, are then made physical – tangible, touchable, and reachable.\u00a0Ephesians 1:3, 20; Ephesians 2:6; Proverbs 10:22.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    CHARISMA could be defined as the ability or\u00a0synergy\u00a0within that gives one the enabling to attract, charm,\u00a0boost,\u00a0and influence others towards a given driven CAUSE – Plan,\u00a0Purpose\u00a0and Pursuit. CHARISMA is often said to be a mysterious ineffable quality, you either have it or\u00a0don’t\u00a0have it, but however everyone needs it to do life in their CALLINGS and Talent to be fulfilled in God. For the term charisma (\/k\u0259\u02c8r\u026azm\u0259\/; pl. charismata, adj. charismatic) has two senses: COMPELLING ATTRACTIVENESS or charm that can inspire devotion in others; also, a DIVINELY CONFERRED power or talent to make you be what you want to be in LIFE and GODLINESS. And all these by the Holy Spirit through the WORD makes one to be fulfilled meaningfully in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Holy Spirit is the personality that ENABLES God’s GRACE to activate a genuine CHARISMA and CHARACTER. Therefore, to ensure a genuine CHARISMA and CHARACTER in life and godliness, you need to be BUILT UP by the Holy Spirit in the WORD of God as\u00a0it’s\u00a0written:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “But you, beloved, BUILD yourselves UP on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an EDIFICE higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life”\u00a0<\/i>Jude 1:20-21 (Amplified).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    And for BELIEVERS in Christ, our CHARISMATIC or CHARISMA life which is\u00a0as a result of\u00a0SPIRITUAL GIFTS (endowment) cum TALENTS is sustained in grace by the SPIRITUAL FRUIT (Character) of the Holy Spirit. It must be noted that the sustainability of your CHARISMA or CHARISMATIC life is by the CHARACTER you\u00a0exhibit\u00a0in and through it.\u00a0Otherwise\u00a0it becomes a CARICATURE in every respect of manifestation and operations.\u00a0These spiritual fruit\u00a0that formulates one’s character to uphold integrity and etiquette of one’s charisma or charismatic gifts and acts are (but not limited to) as in these Scriptures:\u00a0Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Peter 1:5-8; Philippians 4:8.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    There are nine (9) major charismatic gifts given to us to be BUILT UP and MATURED to HELP us live in the realm of being ABOVE ONLY, meaning, from the ordinary common realm in cause of doing life and living godly.\u00a0So,\u00a0believers have no excuse of living a limited life by any measure or be subjected or controlled or dominated by any as a helpless one. Each is to use the charismatic gifts to PROFIT and EDIFY – BUILD UP – and MATURE each other in Christ Jesus, not the other way round like we see some today: ROBBING, CONTROLLING, SUBJECTING, DOMINEERING OTHERS, (vulnerable ones) by their CHARISMATIC GIFTS; while OTHERS use theirs to create SCHISM – DIVISION, CONTENTION, ENVY, STRIFE, etc, in the local and collective BODY MINISTRY of Christ Jesus –\u00a0Philippians 1:15-18; 1 Corinthians\u00a01:10-17; 1 Corinthians 14:12, 26, 33; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27<\/b>. And for such that cause schisms, contentions, disorders, etc, you need to\u00a0 keep away and at bay, as Apostle Paul warns too –\u00a0Romans 16:17-18; Timothy 1:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:17-19; 1 Corinthians 3:2-9; 1 Corinthians 1:10-17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    However, these NINE (9) CHARISMATIC GIFTS can be classified in this context of\u00a01 Corinthians 12:9-11<\/b>\u00a0in this principle:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. \u00a0The REVELATION Gifts – The gifts that REVEALS things: THE WORD OF WISDOM; THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE; THE DISCERNING OF SPIRITS.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. The POWER Gifts – The gifts that DOES things: THE GIFT OF FAITH; THE WORKING OF MIRACLES; THE GIFTS OF HEALINGS.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. The INSPIRATIONAL Gifts – The gifts that INSPIRE things: THE GIFT OF PROPHECY, THE INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES; THE DIVERSE (DIFFERENT) KINDS OF TONGUES.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Each of the above gifts is given to everyone severally by the Holy Spirit as one earnestly\u00a0desire\u00a0their PRESENCE in one’s work and walk with God in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead. Whether\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0ministerial calling, business\/entrepreneurship, family, marital and friendship relationships, career pursuit, leadership and governance at any level, creativity, innovation, exploring, etc, the CHARISMATIC GIFTS are here for your wellbeing to grow, thrive, and be fulfilled meaningfully.\u00a01 Corinthians 12: 1; 1 Corinthians 14:12, 39-40.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      I pray that you find the reason not to depend on yourself, but on the Holy Spirit of promise, that He might\u00a0give\u00a0you the needed CHARISMATIC GIFTS, in order to\u00a0fulfil\u00a0PURPOSE, in LIFE and GODLY LIVING, in God’s BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus\u2019 stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      “Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast RECEIVED GIFTS FOR MEN; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them”<\/i>\u00a0Psalms 68:18.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
