PASTORAL\u00a0MINISTRY\u00a0– IT’S NOT A GAME: IT’S A SHEPHERD AND SHEPHERDING MINISTERIAL CALLING!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“And Moses\u00a0spake\u00a0unto the Lord, saying, 16 Let the Lord, the\u00a0God\u00a0of the spirits of all flesh, SET A MAN OVER THE CONGREGATION, 17 which may GO OUT before them, and which may GO IN before them, and which may LEAD THEM OUT, and which may BRING THEM IN; that the CONGREGATION of the Lord be not AS SHEEP which have NO SHEPHERD”<\/i>\u00a0Numbers 27:15-17.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You are either CALLED or NOT. Everyone CALLED is a MESSENGER. And every MESSENGER is GIVEN a SPECIFIC and SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT with a MESSAGE to FEED the FLOCKS –\u00a0God’s own Heritage – with the needed KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING,\u00a0that’s\u00a0TOWARD\u00a0God\u00a0and His Christ, and NOT TOWARD man or creation at all.\u00a0John 17:3\/Jeremiah 3:15.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And how I kept back nothing that was\u00a0PROFITABLE unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you\u00a0publickly, and from house to house, 21 TESTIFYING both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance TOWARD\u00a0God, and faith TOWARD our Lord Jesus Christ”<\/i>\u00a0Acts 20:20-21.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to RECEIVE glory and honour and power: for thou hast CREATED ALL THINGS, and for THY PLEASURE they ARE and WERE CREATED”<\/i>\u00a0Revelation 4:11.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Those NOT CALLED, are not MESSENGERS but HIRELING – Thieves and Robbers –\u00a0John 10:8, 12-13<\/b>. And with such there is NO MESSAGE nor any specific given assignment of\u00a0God\u00a0but that of their self-indulgence, extortion, gratification, men applaud and egotism under the influence of satanic\/demonic and\u00a0cohort’s\u00a0mission. This is the reason for – Adulteration, Schism, Bewitching, Robbery, Dogmas, Sorcery, Falsehoods, Confusion and such like, in the body Ministry of the Gospel, indicating and supposedly the signs of the last days –\u00a0[Philippians 1:15-18; 2 Timothy 3:1-9; 2 Peter 3:1-7].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These sets of SELF-MADE-UP and SELF-CALLED\u00a0Pastors, are full of fables, philosophy of men, endless genealogies, vain jangling, teachers of idealism and realism, denominational made up creeds, religious bigots, sectarianism, man-made tradition and dogmas that leads people to further bondages and hence makes\u00a0God’s WORD of no effect in the Gospel.\u00a0[1 Timothy 1:1-11; Colossians 2:8; Mark 7:1-13].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PASTORAL\u00a0MINISTRY?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0not an Office Position –\u00a0It’s\u00a0a set Ministerial Calling –\u00a0It’s\u00a0a SHEPHERD and SHEPHERDING that is\u00a0principled with responsibility and accountability in Christ Jesus stead, for the GLORY and\u00a0PRAISE of\u00a0God.\u00a0[Galatians 6:14-16; Revelation 4:11].<\/b>\u00a0It’s\u00a0a set MINISTERIAL calling to FEED\u00a0God’s people without sentiment,\u00a0prejudice\u00a0and dissimulation; and to LEAD them healthily in purposeful LEADERSHIP as\u00a0God’s REDEEMED,\u00a0PRECIOUS\u00a0and BLESSED people; and not to the BOSS and DOMINEER people around for self-gratification and egotism.\u00a0There’s\u00a0no room for SELF INTEREST and SELFISHNESS in the\u00a0PASTORAL\u00a0MINISTRY\u00a0as a SHEPHERD and SHEPHERDING of\u00a0God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And I will GIVE you\u00a0PASTORS according to mine heart, which shall FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING”<\/i>\u00a0Jeremiah 3:15.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And I will SET UP SHEPHERDS over them which shall FEED them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord”<\/i>\u00a0Jeremiah 23:4.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, you are either sent by\u00a0God, like\u00a0John the Baptist and the Disciples in the Gospel days, or you are\u00a0self-sending.\u00a0God\u00a0calls and sends\u00a0[John 1:6-36; Mark 6:7-13].<\/b>\u00a0Those He calls and sends, He keeps,\u00a0protects, and defends.\u00a0It’s\u00a0not about liking the Ministerial outfits; being called and sent\u00a0should be paramount. \u2018Send forth\u2019 could be to a person, to\u00a0enhance\u00a0their calling, or to a people, or to a generation, a dispensation,\u00a0a community, or\u00a0a special group. You must understand\u00a0the definition of the calling and sending before taking a step, because of the warfare,\u00a0uncertainties, and unknowns\u00a0that obedience demands – without\u00a0regrets, for advancing\u00a0God\u2019s\u00a0kingdom\u00a0and\u00a0keeping the Enemy and cohorts at bay.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And I will GIVE you\u00a0PASTORS according to mine heart, which shall FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING”<\/i>\u00a0Jeremiah 3:15.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And I will SET UP SHEPHERDS over them which shall FEED them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord”<\/i>\u00a0Jeremiah 23:4.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2 FEED the FLOCK of\u00a0God\u00a0which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for FILTHY LUCRE, but of a READY MIND; 3 neither as being lords over\u00a0God\u2019s HERITAGE, but being ENSAMPLES to the FLOCK. 4 And when the CHIEF SHEPHERD shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that\u00a0fadeth\u00a0not away”<\/i>\u00a01 Peter 5:1-4.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that\u00a0entereth\u00a0not by the door into the sheepfold, but\u00a0climbeth\u00a0up some other way, the same is A THIEF AND A ROBBER. 2 But he that\u00a0entereth\u00a0in by the door is THE SHEPHERD OF THE SHEEP. 3 To him the porter\u00a0openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he\u00a0putteth\u00a0forth his own sheep, he\u00a0goeth\u00a0before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not\u00a0follow, but\u00a0will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers . . . 11 I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD: the GOOD shepherd giveth his life for the SHEEP. 12 But he that is\u00a0an\u00a0hireling, and not the shepherd,\u00a0whose\u00a0own the sheep are not,\u00a0seeth\u00a0the wolf coming, and\u00a0leaveth\u00a0the sheep, and\u00a0fleeth: and the wolf\u00a0catcheth\u00a0them, and\u00a0scattereth\u00a0the sheep. 13 The hireling\u00a0fleeth, because he is\u00a0an\u00a0hireling, and\u00a0careth\u00a0not for the sheep. 14 I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD, and know my sheep, and am known of mine . . .”<\/i>\u00a0John 10:1-18.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Now the\u00a0God\u00a0of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that GREAT SHEPHERD of the SHEEP, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is\u00a0well pleasing\u00a0in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. “And he called unto him the twelve, and began to SEND them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; 8 and commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: 9 but be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats. 10 And he SAID unto them,\u00a0In\u00a0what place soever ye\u00a0enter into\u00a0an\u00a0house, there abide till ye depart from that place. 11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them.
