REDEMPTION BLESSEDNESS: THE PROMISED HOLY SPIRIT – HE’S YOUR REALITY FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Christ has REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, \u201cCursed is everyone who hangs on a tree\u201d), 14 that the BLESSING of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might RECEIVE the PROMISE of the Spirit [Holy Spirit] through faith”<\/i>\u00a0Galatians 3:13-14<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now\u00a0that\u00a0you are REDEEMED of God and lavished with the precious Holy Spirit of PROMISE in His BLESSEDNESS in the grace, it’s time you don’t only believe but by faith resolve to act\u00a0accordingly,\u00a0as He’s here for all and it’s irrespective;\u00a0and He’s lavishly and abundantly given to us without prejudice, sentiments,\u00a0and dissimulation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Such hope [in God\u2019s PROMISES] never disappoints us, because God\u2019s love has been ABUNDANTLY POURED out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 5:5\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0time to get DRUNK with the Holy Spirit for you to sing out your own Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, and speak forth gracious wholesome [total] words, and sound coherent words, and\u00a0making\u00a0melodies to the Lord. For those who were REDEEMED sang a NEW sung and expressed it boldly in the grace instead of their old sung as when in their Sin and bondages of the enemy [Satan] and cohorts. And Jesus spoke gracious words and sang in Hymns and spiritual songs as our living example in humanity, and not the song of the depraved world that leads to defeats,\u00a0sorrows\u00a0and pains amid life challenges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“DO NOT GET DRUNK WITH WINE, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be FILLED with the [Holy] Spirit and CONSTANTLY guided by Him. 19 Speak to one another in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, [offering praise by] singing and MAKING MELODY with your heart to the Lord; 20 always GIVING THANKS to God the Father for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 being SUBJECT to one another out of REVERENCE for Christ”<\/i>\u00a0Ephesians 5:18-21\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And they SANG A NEW SONG, saying: \u201cYou are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have REDEEMED us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth”<\/i>\u00a0Revelation 5:9-10.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“So\u00a0all bore witness to Him [Jesus], and\u00a0marveled at the GRACIOUS WORDS which PROCEEDED OUT OF HIS MOUTH. And they said, \u201cIs this not Joseph\u2019s son?”<\/i>\u00a0Luke 4:22.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And when they had SUNG A HYMN, they went out to the Mount of Olives”<\/i>\u00a0Matthew 26:40 [Mark 14:26].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can’t afford to know you are now REDEEMED of God in Christ Jesus in the grace and still remain in your old ways, in your unregenerate old songs, old beliefs, and such like, of living without God in this world; especially in the midst of our redemption possibilities as being made available, our reality and being assured by the Holy Spirit of promise.\u00a0You\u2019ve\u00a0got no\u00a0one\u00a0to blame\u00a0if you continue in your old song in the path of darkness,\u00a0while the Holy Spirit of grace, who is now lavishly GIVEN to\u00a0us,\u00a0is there to ensure the assured redemption in the grace is readily available for you and all in love.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 5:5.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever\u2014 17 the Spirit of TRUTH, whom the WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it neither SEES Him nor KNOWS Him; but you KNOW Him, for He DWELLS WITH you and will be IN you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you”<\/i>\u00a0John 14:15-18.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“So\u00a0I say to you, ASK, and it will be given to you; SEEK, and you will find; KNOCK, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father GIVE the Holy Spirit to those who ASK Him!”<\/i>\u00a0Luke 11:9-13 [John 7:7; Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Apostle, on the Pentecost day of RECEIVING the Holy Spirit of promised, were considered to be DRUNK of a NEW WINE by passerby and\u00a0observers\u00a0of that day; for their experience of RECEIVING Him as promised\u00a0made them\u00a0be\u00a0seen\u00a0or nicknamed a drunk people of a special NEW WINE. In the passerby’s eyes, they were highly intoxicated people with a kind of WINE that’s not common, in that it was making sense for goodness and the good and healthy living, and not the HYPE TYPE that keeps one as an idiotic person to be staggering on the roads, speaking jargons and incoherent statements\u00a0,and falling\u00a0apart\u00a0in gutters, and requiring a rescue and at an extreme cases a rehabilitation for normalcy to be restored for the individual, family, community and society\u2019s\u00a0good and goodness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“When the DAY OF PENTECOST had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it FILLED the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all FILLED with the Holy Spirit and began to SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES, AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM UTTERANCE. 5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and\u00a0were\u00a0confused, because everyone heard them SPEAK in his own language. 7 Then they were all AMAZED and\u00a0MARVELED, saying to one another, \u201cLook, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs\u2014we hear them SPEAKING in our own TONGUES THE WONDERFUL WORKS of God.\u201d 12 So they were all AMAZED and PERPLEXED, saying to one another, \u201cWhatever could this mean?\u201d 13 Others mocking said, \u201cTHEY ARE FULL OF NEW WINE”<\/i>\u00a0Acts 2:1-13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m\u00a0not\u00a0here\u00a0teaching you or telling you about wine or no wine, lest\u00a0we\u00a0go out of context.\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0endeavouring\u00a0to inform you about the person of the Holy Spirit and His works in a Believer’s life in the grace. And the need to receive Him as the promised\u00a0blessedness in our redemption in Christ Jesus, and the necessity to know about Him before you fall into adulteration, falsehoods, distortion and religious made-up inclinations of men who tend to become\u00a0intermediaries\u00a0because of your own ignorance and lack of\u00a0knowledge of Him in the grace. For the then passerby observers attributed\u00a0to the Apostles as being drunk of Him – the NEW WINE, and they were the first early recipients\u00a0of Him, the Holy Spirit of promise.\u00a0And\u00a0here are\u00a0a\u00a0few Scriptural\u00a0contexts\u00a0to take away,\u00a0but not limited\u00a0to, on what it means to be DRUNK in the world, besides the Holy\u00a0Spirit in essence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Wine is a MOCKER, STRONG\u00a0drink\u00a0a RIOTOUS BRAWLER; And whoever is INTOXICATED by it is not wise”\u00a0<\/i>Proverbs 20:1\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Listen, my son, and be wise,\u00a0And\u00a0direct your heart in the way [of the Lord]. 20 Do not ASSOCIATE WITH HEAVY DRINKERS of wine, Or with GLUTTONOUS eaters of meat, 21 For the HEAVY DRINKER and the glutton will come to poverty, And the DROWSINESS [of OVERINDULGENCE] will clothe one with rags . . . 29 Who has WOE? Who has\u00a0SORROW? Who has STRIFE? Who\u00a0has\u00a0COMPLAINING? Who has WOUNDS without cause? Whose EYES are red and dim? 30 Those who LINGER LONG over wine,\u00a0Those\u00a0who go to TASTE MIXED wine. 31 Do not look at wine when it is RED,\u00a0When\u00a0it SPARKLES in the glass,\u00a0When\u00a0it goes down smoothly. 32. At\u00a0the\u00a0last\u00a0it BITES like a SERPENT And STINGS like a VIPER. 33 Your [drunken] eyes will SEE strange things\u00a0And\u00a0your MIND will UTTER PERVERSE things [UNTRUE things, TWISTED things]. 34 And you will be [as UNSTEADY] as one who lies down in the middle of the sea, And [as VULNERABLE to disaster] as one who lies down on the TOP of a ship\u2019s mast, saying, 35 \u201cThey STRUCK me, but I was not HURT! They BEAT me, but I did not FEEL it! When will I wake up? I will seek more wine”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 23:19-21, 29-35.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The promised HOLY SPIRIT, He’s our reality, to enjoy the fulness of all about our REDEMPTION in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus in this grace,\u00a0generation,\u00a0and dispensation.\u00a0I\u00a0urge\u00a0you\u00a0to take advantage of today’s knowledge and\u00a0synchronise\u00a0your faith to receive Him today and now, instead of chasing\u00a0shadows\u00a0and become a prey and victim because of your ignorance in knowing and understanding the truth that sets free in the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“My PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. Because you have REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I also will REJECT you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children”\u00a0<\/i>Hosea 4:6.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Therefore\u00a0MY PEOPLE HAVE GONE INTO CAPTIVITY, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE; Their honorable men are famished,\u00a0And\u00a0their multitude dried up with thirst. 14 Therefore SHEOL has ENLARGED itself And OPENED ITS MOUTH BEYOND MEASURE; Their glory and their multitude and their pomp,\u00a0And\u00a0he who is jubilant, shall descend into it. 15 People shall be brought down,\u00a0Each\u00a0man shall be humbled, And the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled”<\/i>\u00a0Isaiah 5:13-15.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cYOU ARE MISTAKEN, NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES nor the power of God”\u00a0<\/i>Matthew 22:29.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the HELPER (COMFORTER, ADVOCATE, INTERCESSOR\u2014COUNSELOR, STRENGTHENER, STANDBY) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you]. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior], and about righteousness, and about judgment: 9 about sin [and the true nature of it], because they do not believe in Me [and My message]; 10 about righteousness [personal integrity and godly character], because I am going to My Father and you will no longer see Me; 11 about judgment [the certainty of it], because the ruler of this world (Satan) has been judged and condemned. 12 \u201cI have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear [to hear] them now. 13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father\u2014the message\u00a0regarding\u00a0the Son], and He will\u00a0disclose\u00a0to you what is to come [in the future]. 14 He will glorify and honor Me, because He (the Holy Spirit) will take from what is Mine and will\u00a0disclose\u00a0it to you. 15 All things that the\u00a0Father\u00a0has are Mine. Because of this I said that He [the Spirit] will take from what is Mine and will reveal it to you”<\/i>\u00a0John 16:7-15.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SUMMARY:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The message\u00a0emphasises\u00a0the importance of receiving the Holy Spirit, who is the promised blessedness in our redemption in Christ Jesus. It encourages believers to take advantage of today’s knowledge and\u00a0synchronise\u00a0their faith to receive Him, instead of chasing shadows and becoming prey to ignorance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
