BEING A HEARER OF THE WORD: AND\u00a0A DOER OF THE WORD!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“But be DOERS of THE WORD, and NOT HEARERS ONLY, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a HEARER OF THE WORD and NOT A DOER, he is like a man\u00a0observing\u00a0his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he\u00a0observes\u00a0himself, goes away, and\u00a0immediately\u00a0forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who\u00a0looks into\u00a0the perfect law of liberty and CONTINUES in\u00a0it, and\u00a0is not a forgetful hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be BLESSED in what he DOES”<\/i>\u00a0James 1:22-25\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hearing the WORD, the living WORD of God, is a vitality in the grace. To read and study the word is to acquire knowledge, which is a necessity to every believing child of God in Christ Jesus stead; but to thrive in the grace, it comes by the hearing and doing, which is otherwise, the activation of the word of faith in the grace. And as important and gracious it is to HEAR the\u00a0WORD;\u00a0it’s\u00a0tragic not DOING the WORD [James 1:22-25<\/b>].\u00a0For a mere BELIEF\u00a0in\u00a0the WORD\u00a0puts\u00a0you in a\u00a0passive\u00a0position but\u00a0exercising that WORD of Faith\u00a0therein\u00a0activates\u00a0pleasing God, and that brings divine BLESSEDNESS in the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But without FAITH it is impossible to [walk with God and] PLEASE Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] BELIEVE that God exists and that He REWARDS those who [EARNESTLY and DILIGENTLY] seek Him”\u00a0<\/i>Hebrews 11:6\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When God’s WORD is\u00a0BELIEVED\u00a0as a consequence of\u00a0Hearing the WORD of\u00a0Faith, and\u00a0then acted upon by FAITH\u00a0with\u00a0diligence, God\u00a0is\u00a0then\u00a0obligated\u00a0to\u00a0honour\u00a0His magnified WORD to reward as HE’S being pleased accordingly in the grace. For the WORD of Faith that pleases God comes by hearing and\u00a0CONTINUOUS\u00a0HEARING of the WORD.\u00a0And continuous\u00a0hearing\u00a0is\u00a0an act of diligence – being\u00a0smartly consistently\u00a0consistent in\u00a0the grace.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have EXALTED above all else Your NAME and Your WORD and You have MAGNIFIED Your WORD above all Your name” Psalms 138:2\/AMPCE.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“So\u00a0then FAITH comes by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 10:17\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To earn God’s BLESSEDNESS indeed in the grace, being a DOER\u00a0of\u00a0the WORD of FAITH is what makes the possibility and reality of the hearing of Faith. Anything otherwise results\u00a0in\u00a0a\u00a0questionable act of\u00a0belief,\u00a0like\u00a0Apostle Paul demanded from the Galatians Believers\u00a0who drifted\u00a0into\u00a0inconsistency in\u00a0their faith in the grace.\u00a0There’s\u00a0a DOING to\u00a0accompany\u00a0the\u00a0continuous HEARING OF THE WORD OF FAITH in the grace;\u00a0otherwise, adulteration, distortion,\u00a0and perversion will set in over time,\u00a0leading to\u00a0giving one’s listening heart to unscriptural,\u00a0subtle falsehood.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“O FOOLISH Galatians! Who has BEWITCHED you that you should NOT OBEY THE TRUTH, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by THE HEARING OF\u00a0FAITH?\u00a0. . . 5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He DO it by the works of the law, or by THE HEARING OF FAITH?”\u00a0<\/i>Galatians 3:1-9\/NKJV.\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

God is good and faithful,\u00a0true\u00a0and sure. His acts of faithfulness\u00a0rewards\u00a0diligence. Hence,\u00a0there’s\u00a0the need to be steadfast in keeping to the word of faith and in patience to earn and access the promises of God in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Being\u00a0continuously\u00a0diligent to the end, not half of the way or part of the way, but full assurance of hope to the end brings about ensuring and assuring the fulness of God’s promise BLESSEDNESS in life and grace.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But, beloved, we are CONFIDENT of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is NOT UNJUST [UNRIGHTEOUS, UNFAITHFUL] to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same DILIGENCE to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become SLUGGISH [SLOTFUL], but IMITATE [FOLLOWER] those who through FAITH and PATIENCE inherit the promises”\u00a0<\/i>Hebrews 6:10-12\/NKJV\/EMPHASIS MINE.\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0my earnest prayer that you take the health of your spiritual wellbeing seriously by ensuring and assuring that the HEARING OF THE WORD OF FAITH is accompanied by the DOING,\u00a0in order to\u00a0keep the alertness in the grace undistorted and adulterated. For the faith that OVERCOMES the world comes by THE HEARING and THE HEARING OF THE WORD in\u00a0the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES THE WORLD. And this is the VICTORY that has OVERCOME THE WORLD \u2014OUR FAITH. 5 Who is he who OVERCOMES THE\u00a0WORLD,\u00a0but he who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Son of God?”<\/i>\u00a01 John 5:4-5.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But what does it say? \u201cThe WORD is near you, in your mouth and in your heart\u201d (that is, THE WORD OF FAITH which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation . . . 17 So then faith comes by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 10:8-10, 17\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I pray that you\u00a0will\u00a0be blessed in the grace as you hear the\u00a0WORD\u00a0of Faith and do the doing of faith\u00a0in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0stead. Amen.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Behold, the days are coming,\u201d says the Lord God, \u201cThat I will send a FAMINE on the land,\u00a0Not\u00a0a famine of bread,\u00a0Nor\u00a0a thirst for water, But of HEARING THE WORDS of the Lord. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea,\u00a0And\u00a0from north to east; They shall run to and\u00a0fro, seeking THE WORD of the Lord,\u00a0But\u00a0shall not find it. 13 \u201cIn that day the fair virgins\u00a0And\u00a0strong young men Shall FAINT from THIRST”<\/i>\u00a0Amos 8:11-14.\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But the PATH OF THE JUST is\u00a0as\u00a0the SHINING LIGHT, that SHINETH MORE and MORE unto the PERFECT (DAWN) DAY. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. 20 My son, ATTEND to my words; INCLINE thine EAR unto my SAYINGS. 21.\u00a0Let\u00a0them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the MIDST of thine HEART.\u00a022. For\u00a0they are LIFE unto those that find them, and HEALTH to all their flesh. 23. “But as it is WRITTEN, EYE hath not SEEN, nor EAR HEARD, neither have ENTERED into the HEART of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that love him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things,\u00a0yea, the deep things of God”<\/i>\u00a01 Corinthians 2:9-10.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For THE WORD of God is QUICK, and POWERFUL, and SHARPER than any\u00a0twoedged\u00a0sword, piercing even to the DIVIDING asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we\u00a0have to\u00a0do”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 4:12-13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“We\u00a0having\u00a0the SAME spirit of FAITH, according as it is WRITTEN, I BELIEVED, and therefore have I SPOKEN; we also\u00a0BELIEVE, and\u00a0therefore SPEAK”<\/i>\u00a02 Corinthians 4:13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
