THE HEARING OF THE WORD\u00a0TRANSFORMS: DON’T BE DULL OF HEARING!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God\u2019s goodness] are those who HUNGER and THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS [those who ACTIVELY SEEK RIGHT STANDING with God], for they will be [COMPLETELY] SATISFIED”<\/i>\u00a0Matthew 5:6\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If\u00a0there’s\u00a0any time\u00a0for one to CRAVE [THIRST and HUNGER] after the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God’s WORD,\u00a0it’s\u00a0today and even now. We are living a time wherein\u00a0there’s\u00a0a famine of the unadulterated and undiluted HEARING OF THE WORD of God in the grace, in spirit and in truth.\u00a0It’s\u00a0your time to be intentional and resolved to own your LIBRARY OF FAITH to savage you from being in the place of the FAMINE of THE WORD of God. It will deliver you from the DULLNESS to HEARING THE WORD of God in the grace.\u00a0It’s\u00a0only\u00a0the HEARING of THE WORD\u00a0of God that informs and transforms\u00a0us\u00a0from the adulteration and falsehoods around\u00a0us today.\u00a0That\u2019s\u00a0the only way to have our spirit renewed in our\u00a0minds daily,\u00a0and to\u00a0grow\u00a0from glory to glory in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0grace. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . 2 And do not be CONFORMED to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 8:1-2<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“If indeed you have HEARD Him and have been TAUGHT by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your FORMER CONDUCT, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness”<\/i>\u00a0Ephesians 4:21-24\/NKJV<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Behold, the DAYS ARE COMING,\u201d says the Lord God, \u201cThat I will send a FAMINE on the land, NOT A FAMINE of bread,\u00a0Nor\u00a0a thirst for water, But of HEARING THE WORDS of the Lord. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea,\u00a0And\u00a0from north to east; They shall run to and\u00a0fro, seeking THE WORD of the Lord,\u00a0But\u00a0shall not find it. 13 \u201cIn that day the fair virgins\u00a0And\u00a0strong young men shall FAINT FROM THIRST”<\/i>\u00a0Amos 8:11-14\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And\u00a0there’s\u00a0nothing as dangerously deceptive as being out of God\u2019s word,\u00a0especially when you are in a place of unwillingness to HEAR THE WORD of God being spoken\u00a0directly\u00a0or indirectly\u00a0to help you\u00a0grow\u00a0in life and grace.\u00a0Being\u00a0broken and beyond repair\u00a0is\u00a0not only frightening and worrisome but grievous.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“He who HARDENS his neck and REFUSES INSTRUCTION after being often REPROVED (CORRECTED, CRITICIZED), will suddenly be broken beyond repair”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 29:1\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Only a fool, meaning unwise, lives in the atmosphere of not hearing and listening to wisdom to better their lives for the good and goodness of our common society and community: Family, Church, Business,\u00a0Government\u00a0and such like.\u00a0\u00a0Being\u00a0hard of hearing,\u00a0when it comes to listening\u00a0to\u00a0God\u2019s\u00a0instructions, robs\u00a0you\u00a0of help and creates a bad taste in making informed decisions. Informed leaders are readers,\u00a0learners,\u00a0and most importantly,\u00a0listeners. Timothy was instructed by Apostle Paul to know the benefits of actively\u00a0and swiftly\u00a0listening to God’s Word, to\u00a0become\u00a0a polished and thoroughly\u00a0equipped\u00a0man of God in\u00a0His\u00a0grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But you must CONTINUE in the things which you have LEARNED and been ASSURED of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have KNOWN the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you WISE for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is given by INSPIRATION of God, and is PROFITABLE for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the MAN OF GOD MAY BE COMPLETE, THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED for every\u00a0good work”\u00a0<\/i>2 Timothy 3:14-17\/NKJV<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The writer of the Holy writ book of Hebrews didactic illustration of\u00a0Hebrews 5:11-14, gives a warning signal to all who wants to be Teacher [instructor,\u00a0mentor\u00a0and such like] to know that being dull to hearing is the limiting factor. Being dull could be\u00a0described\u00a0as\u00a0something boring, uninteresting, or lacking brilliance, lifeless, not bright, faded, not sharp, slow,\u00a0sluggish\u00a0and unsharpened. And in the context of being DULL to\u00a0THE HEARING OF THE WORD,\u00a0it’s\u00a0an indication\u00a0of the lack of growth to maturity, wholeness,\u00a0completeness\u00a0and totality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For when such an individual ought to be a TEACHER, meaning the state of giving\u00a0others\u00a0instructions of the FAITH in the grace, such an individual is still taking the MILK of the WORD. Indicating being toothless, lack of growth, not fully informed to make informed\u00a0decisions\u00a0in the path of righteousness in\u00a0the grace.\u00a0It’s\u00a0a state of being vulnerable,\u00a0unsecure\u00a0and unsteady\u00a0in\u00a0the faith. And not being able\u00a0to\u00a0sensitise\u00a0the senses [the hearing, the seeing, the smelling,\u00a0tasting\u00a0and touching\/feeling] by\u00a0THE\u00a0WORD\u00a0which is only possible by actively,\u00a0swiftly\u00a0and lively HEARING THE WORD of God in the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as NEWBORN BABES, DESIRE THE PURE MILK OF THE WORD, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have TASTED that the Lord is gracious”<\/i>\u00a01 Peter 2:1-2<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Concerning\u00a0this\u00a0we have much to say, and it is HARD TO EXPLAIN, since you have BECOME DULL AND SLUGGISH IN [your spiritual] HEARING and DISINCLINED TO LISTEN. 12 For though by this time you ought to be TEACHERS [because of the time you have had to learn these truths], you actually need someone to teach you again the ELEMENTARY PRINCIPLES of God\u2019s word [from the beginning], and you have come to be continually in NEED OF MILK, NOT SOLID FOOD. 13 For everyone who lives on milk is [DOCTRINALLY\u00a0INEXPERIENCED and] UNSKILLED IN THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, since he is a SPIRITUAL INFANT. 14 But solid food is for the [spiritually] MATURE, whose SENSES are TRAINED BY PRACTICE to distinguish between what is morally GOOD and what is EVIL”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 5:11-14\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Believing child of God must\u00a0resolve\u00a0to overcome the spirit of being dull of hearing to become swift [quick] to hearing the word of God. Being quick to hear gives the enabling to perceive, to understand, be smart, and be clever as a mark of necessity to enhance one to being a TEACHER of completeness, wholeness, totality, and maturity. Being a\u00a0teacher\u00a0makes one to be sensitive, alert, vigilant, alive, actively engaged\u00a0and engaging\u00a0because of\u00a0the hearing\u00a0of the word. This experience of becoming a TEACHER\u00a0that’s\u00a0HEARING THE WORD of God, as described earlier, makes the difference from the person who is DULL of HEARING OF THE WORD of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s time to incline your spiritual hearing ears, which is the heart, the spirit man being, to\u00a0THE HEARING OF THE WORD, and put an end to the to the DULLNESS IN THE HEARING that will emancipate you from the grips of ignorance and self-made and self-created bandage due to the hardness of your hearing and listening hearts to God’s Word in the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0time to wake up from being a DULL HEARER OF THE WORD to becoming the ACTIVE [SMART] HEARER OF THE WORD to make you become the TEACHER\u00a0that’s\u00a0complete, whole,\u00a0total\u00a0and mature in the grace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I pray you become a TEACHER, being able to\u00a0sensitise\u00a0your senses [seeing, hearing, tasting,\u00a0smelling\u00a0and touching\/feeling], to a wholesome place of grace in Christ Jesus. Amen.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBehold, the days are coming,\u201d says the Lord God, \u201cWhen I will send HUNGER over the land, Not hunger for bread or a thirst for water,\u00a0But\u00a0rather [a HUNGER] for HEARING THE WORDS of the Lord. 12 \u201cPeople shall STAGGER from sea to\u00a0sea\u00a0[to the very ends of the earth] And from the north even to the east; They will ROAM here and there to SEEK THE WORD of the Lord [longing for it as essential for life], But they WILL NOT FIND IT. 13 \u201cIn that day the beautiful virgins And [even the vigorous] young men shall FAINT FROM THIRST . . .”<\/i>\u00a0Amos 8:11-14\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But the PATH OF THE JUST is\u00a0as\u00a0the SHINING LIGHT, that SHINETH MORE and MORE unto the PERFECT (DAWN) DAY. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. 20 My son, ATTEND to my words; INCLINE thine EAR unto my SAYINGS. 21\u00a0Let\u00a0them not\u00a0depart\u00a0from thine eyes; keep them\u00a0in the MIDST of\u00a0thine HEART. 22\u00a0For\u00a0they are LIFE unto those that find them, and HEALTH to all their flesh. 23\u00a0Keep\u00a0thy HEART with all DILIGENCE; for out of it are the ISSUES OF LIFE”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 4:18-23\/Emphasis Mine.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But as it is WRITTEN, EYE hath not SEEN, nor EAR HEARD, neither have ENTERED into the HEART of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that love him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things,\u00a0yea, the deep things of God”<\/i>\u00a01 Corinthians 2:9-10.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For THE WORD of God is QUICK, and POWERFUL, and SHARPER than any\u00a0twoedged\u00a0sword, piercing even to the DIVIDING asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we\u00a0have to\u00a0do”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 4:12-13.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“We\u00a0having\u00a0the SAME spirit of FAITH, according as it is WRITTEN, I BELIEVED, and therefore have I SPOKEN; we also\u00a0BELIEVE, and\u00a0therefore SPEAK”\u00a0<\/i>2 Corinthians 4:13.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
