DISCIPLINE & CHASTISEMENT – ARE GOD’S LOVE PACT – FOR HIS REDEEMED CHILDREN: BEING DISCIPLINE THROUGH GOD’S MIRROR OF LOVE WORTH IT – DON’T RUN AWAY!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Better is an OPEN REPRIMAND [of LOVING CORRECTION] than LOVE that is HIDDEN [CONCEALED]. 6 Faithful are the WOUNDS of a friend [who CORRECTS out of LOVE and CONCERN], but the KISSES of an ENEMY are DECEITFUL [because they SERVE his hidden agenda]”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 27:5-6\/Amplified<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I want to believe\u00a0you know God has your best interests\u00a0at\u00a0heart – any day,\u00a0anywhere,\u00a0and\u00a0anytime. And that God LOVES you unconditionally,\u00a0too,\u00a0and irrespective. And so,\u00a0be\u00a0good and godly towards\u00a0others\u00a0in every respect,\u00a0in Christ Jesus stead. And we ARE only being DISCIPLINED and CHASTISED and REPRIMANDED and REBUKED by God in Christ Jesus stead, ONLY on matters that are unscriptural, and of naughtiness, and of foolish\u00a0behavioural\u00a0manners contrary to the context of His will for us as His dear children, in order to bring about the good and goodness out of us. Therefore, DON’T RUN AWAY FROM GOD LIKE ADAM AND EVE,\u00a0BUT RUN TOWARDS GOD EVEN IN DISCIPLINE. Running away\u00a0is\u00a0what Satan and\u00a0cohort’s\u00a0wants you to do –\u00a0that’s\u00a0worse for you because you will fall into the wickedness of satanic traps. Running towards God will provide safety. Be as the prodigal son and return home to your Father God and be as David to be at God’s gatehouse rather than in satanic domain of wickedness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . 7 They go from STRENGTH TO STRENGTH; Each one appears before God in Zion . . . 10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a DOORKEEPER in the house of my God Than dwell in the TENTS OF WICKEDNESS. 11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold\u00a0from\u00a0those who walk uprightly . . .”<\/i>\u00a0Psalms 84:1-12\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . 17 \u201cBut when he came to himself, he said, \u2018How many of my father\u2019s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I WILL ARISE AND GO TO MY FATHER, and will say to him, \u201cFather, I have sinned against heaven and before you, [19] and I am no longer worthy\u00a0to be\u00a0called your son. Make\u00a0me like\u00a0one of your hired servants . . .”<\/i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Luke 15:11-32\/NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And our ability to ENDURE God’s DISCIPLINES and CHASTISEMENTS when it SHOWS up –\u00a0is\u00a0for our OWN good and eternal VIRTUE in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. God’s discipline [chastisement] is one\u00a0aspect\u00a0of the Christian faith in Christ Jesus, that many so called Believer’s\u00a0doesn’t\u00a0want to reckon with; and especially when matters of LOVE pops up about them. And, when God have to use their heartfelt loving friends or colleagues or parents or any avenues deemed fit by Him to help them stand upright and strengthen up for their own good and goodness – they can’t and won’t fathom it until they found themselves in a messy place – because of their leaning on the deception and deceitfulness of the enemy and cohorts that only appeals to their sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, do not DESPISE the CHASTENING of the Lord, Nor be DISCOURAGED when you are REBUKED by Him; 6 For WHOM the Lord LOVES He CHASTENS, And SCOURGES every son whom He RECEIVES. 7 If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not CHASTEN?”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 12:5-7.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Living and walking in God’s love also connotes, endorses,\u00a0embraces\u00a0and embodies the act of being DISCIPLINE and CHASTISEMENTS. Meaning,\u00a0God will discipline any of His REDEEMED children whom He LOVES,\u00a0in order to\u00a0bring out His\u00a0very best\u00a0in them and to give them the living worth they crave. This is part of the LOVE PACT of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The reason being that the redemptive LIBERTY, that is, the FREEDOM in Christ Jesus is not an OCCASION for one to live and walk in the flesh or sin, instead,\u00a0it’s\u00a0to LIVE and WALK in GOD’S LOVE. Simply put,\u00a0there’s\u00a0nothing like or as ‘it doesn’t matter what I do, as long as God loves me’. NO, it DOES matter what you do privately and publicly, because those that God LOVES, He DISCIPLINE and CHASTISES them, except they choose to be bastards or illegitimate children, which you ARE not.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not CHASTEN? 8 But if you are without CHASTENING, of which all have BECOME PARTAKERS, then you are ILLEGITIMATE and not sons”\u00a0<\/i>Hebrews 12:7-8.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s my earnest PRAYER that you live within the LOVE of God in Christ Jesus\u2019\u00a0stead; and for any reason that you detail anyway, may you be able\u00a0embrace\u00a0the discipline of God without a fight, so that you can have the fulness of God that’s at work for your good in\u00a0every way.\u00a01 John 1:5-10.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK . . .\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For if we would JUDGE (EXAMINE) ourselves, we should not be JUDGED (EXAMINE). 32 But when we are JUDGED (EXAMINED), we are CHASTENED of the Lord, that we should not be CONDEMNED with the world”<\/i>\u00a01 Corinthians 11:31-32 (Emphasis Mine).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For consider Him who ENDURED such HOSTILITY from sinners against Himself, lest you become WEARY and DISCOURAGED in your souls. 4 You have not yet\u00a0resisted to\u00a0bloodshed, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, do not DESPISE the CHASTENING of the Lord, Nor be DISCOURAGED when you are REBUKED by Him; 6 For whom the Lord LOVES He CHASTENS, And SCOURGES every son whom He RECEIVES. 7 If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not CHASTEN? 8 But if you are without CHASTENING, of which all have BECOME PARTAKERS, then you are ILLEGITIMATE and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had HUMAN fathers who CORRECTED us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more READILY be in SUBJECTION to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days CHASTENED us as seemed best to them, but He for our PROFIT, that we may be PARTAKERS of His holiness. 11 Now no CHASTENING\u00a0seems to be\u00a0JOYFUL for the present, but PAINFUL; nevertheless, afterward it yields the PEACEABLE fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 12:3-11.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“STAND FAST therefore in the LIBERTY wherewith Christ hath MADE US FREE, and be not ENTANGLED again with the YOKE OF BONDAGE . . . For, brethren, ye have been called unto LIBERTY; only use not liberty for an OCCASION to the flesh, but by LOVE serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt LOVE thy\u00a0neighbour\u00a0as thyself. 15 But if ye BITE and DEVOUR one another, take heed that ye be not consumed\u00a0one of\u00a0another. 16 This I say then, WALK in the Spirit, and ye shall not FULFIL the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh\u00a0lusteth\u00a0against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are\u00a0contrary\u00a0the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law”<\/i>\u00a0Galatians 5:1, 13-18.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“This is the message [of God\u2019s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection]. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. 8 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude\u00a0ourselves,\u00a0and the truth is not in us. [His word does not live in our hearts.] 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose]. 10 If we say that we have not sinned [refusing to admit acts of sin], we make Him [out to be] a liar [by contradicting Him] and His word is not in us”<\/i>\u00a01 John 1:5-10 Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
