MONTH FEBRUARY: MONTH OF ENSURING THAT YOU PROSPER BY – “PROSPERING THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS”\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Beloved, I pray that in every way you may SUCCEED and PROSPER and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul PROSPERS [spiritually]”<\/i>\u00a03 John 1:2 Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A JOB is what you are employed and tutored to do and you can be suspended, sacked, retrenched, dismissed and retired even against your will; but A WORK is what you ARE made of, an IN-BUILT in you to do and no man can suspend, sack, dismiss, retrench, retire you except you and you alone and not someone else. It is the DISCOVERY of the WORK and the IN-BUILT work IN you, that makes the difference to make you do things and life differently; and that enables you to be creative, innovative and initiative, in exploring better ways of prospering the work to prosper the you in life and grace without stress and anxiety, murmuring and complaining.\u00a0When\u00a0you know\u00a0and understand\u00a0your\u00a0WORTH,\u00a0purpose,\u00a0and\u00a0what drives you, you will\u00a0realise\u00a0that\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0designed to\u00a0THRIVE, not just\u00a0SURVIVE. This knowledge ignites\u00a0an upward trajectory within you,\u00a0fuelling\u00a0your growth and propelling you forward.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0not just about existing;\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0about living a life of purpose and fulfillment, where\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0empowered to reach your full\u00a0potential.\u00a0THINK\u00a0ABOUT IT!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“WHATEVER YOUR HAND FINDS TO DO, DO IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT; for there is NO ACTIVITY or PLANNING or KNOWLEDGE or WISDOM in\u00a0Sheol\u00a0(the nether world, the\u00a0place of the dead) where you are going”<\/i>\u00a0Ecclesiastes 9:10\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When you\u00a0understand your\u00a0work\u00a0and its value,\u00a0the wisdom to prosper\u00a0in it comes\u00a0naturally.\u00a0\u00a0Faithfulness, diligence, prudence, responsibility,\u00a0and accountability\u00a0become second nature, rooted in principles that guide you. Knowing\u00a0your worth and your work transforms your perspective, freeing you from the blame game\u00a0and finger-pointing that plagues so many. In a world where\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0easy to create narratives and\u00a0rise up\u00a0by tearing others\u00a0down,\u00a0understanding your work empowers you to stay focused and\u00a0undeterred, even in the face of challenges and setbacks.\u00a0You’re\u00a0able to rise above the noise, unshaken by the opinions of others, and driven by your\u00a0purpose.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION,\u00a0NEITHER\u00a0IS\u00a0DANCING TO THE COMMONLY ACCEPTABLE\u00a0WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR WORK AND WORTH.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u00a0want\u00a0to prosper,\u00a0do\u00a0diligence in\u00a0self-discovery\u00a0of\u00a0your work and\u00a0ensure\u00a0you do\u00a0all it takes to prosper the\u00a0work,\u00a0that you may prosper along. Your prosperity is in your hand and not in another. The scripture says in\u00a0Joshua 1:8,<\/b>\u00a0it is you that will make your way PROSPEROUS with GOOD SUCCESS,\u00a0indicating\u00a0that they are BAD SUCCESS as\u00a0it’s\u00a0written:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from YOUR mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that YOU may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then YOU WILL MAKE YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS, and then YOU WILL have GOOD SUCCESS”<\/i>\u00a0Joshua 1:8 NKJV.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When you consider your work\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0business under God as Jesus Christ consider His work, a business under God, you will prosper and increase with wisdom, physique and in\u00a0favour\u00a0with God and man.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And he said unto them,\u00a0How\u00a0is it that ye sought me?\u00a0wist\u00a0ye not that I must be about my Father\u2019s BUSINESS? . . . 52 And Jesus INCREASED in WISDOM and STATURE, and in FAVOUR with God and man”<\/i>\u00a0Luke 2:49, 52.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I must WORK THE WORKS of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can WORK”<\/i>\u00a0John 9:4.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Seest thou a man DILIGENT in his BUSINESS? he shall STAND before KINGS (HONOUR, DIGNITY, INTEGRITY); he shall not STAND before MEAN (UNPRODUCTIVE, OBSCURED) men”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 22:29.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And to do business with your work, you have to as a matter of principle\u00a0be DILIGENT.\u00a0And DILIGENCE is not just about hardworking, but about being smart, steadily\u00a0steady\u00a0and\u00a0consistent in FAITH, with a\u00a0set\u00a0PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT in focus, THRIVING to obtain an effectual and productive result. The otherwise is to be slacked of the work to attract failings and failures instead of prosperity and good success as written:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“He BECOMETH POOR THAT DEALETH WITH A SLACK HAND: but the HAND OF THE DILIGENT MAKETH RICH. 5 He that GATHERETH IN SUMMER is a WISE son: but he that SLEEPETH IN HARVEST is a son that CAUSETH SHAME”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 10:4-5.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When you DILIGENTLY TILL YOUR LAND –\u00a0WORKING\u00a0through innovation,\u00a0exploration,\u00a0creation,\u00a0and\u00a0initiative – there\u00a0will be\u00a0PLENTY of bread to set you\u00a0up\u00a0for\u00a0life and make you a vessel of blessings to others.\u00a0To TILL is to CULTIVATE – which means, to PLOUGH, SOW or PLANT and RAISE or PRODUCE. And to ensure that you till the work – you cultivate by plowing on the work and planting a SEED or CROP or investing\u00a0your\u00a0TIME, FINANCE, EFFORT (mental\u00a0and or physical exertion) and other necessary material to NURTURE that\u00a0endeavour\u00a0until\u00a0there’s\u00a0a product – effect or result.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“He that TILLETH HIS LAND shall be satisfied with bread: but he that FOLLOWETH VAIN persons is void of understanding”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 12:11.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When you are consistently consistent in a steady spirit and faith in that which you set your hearts to do, you will never be disappointed.\u00a0That’s\u00a0the spirit of DILIGENCE.\u00a0It’s\u00a0REWARDING and EMPOWERING.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must BELIEVE that he is, and that he is a REWARDER of them that DILIGENTLY seek him”<\/i>\u00a0Hebrews 11:6.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0too early to PLAY the LAZY, SLOTHFUL and SLUGGARD card as a fool.\u00a0It’s\u00a0time to INITIATE, CREATE, INNOVATE and EXPLORE all the necessary possibilities in the work set plan,\u00a0purpose,\u00a0and pursuit. And DILIGENCE makes it all POSSIBLE.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SELAH-PAUSE AND THINK.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that FAVOUR my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be MAGNIFIED, which hath PLEASURE IN THE PROSPERITY of his servant”\u00a0<\/i>Psalms 35:27 (Galatians 5:13).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“He that is FAITHFUL in that which is LEAST is FAITHFUL also in MUCH: and he that is UNJUST in the LEAST is UNJUST also in MUCH. 11 If therefore ye have NOT BEEN FAITHFUL in the unrighteous mammon, who will COMMIT to your TRUST THE TRUE RICHES? 12 And if ye have NOT BEEN FAITHFUL in that which is ANOTHER MAN\u2019S, who shall GIVE you that WHICH IS YOUR OWN?”<\/i>\u00a0Luke 16:10-12.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“The SLUGGARD will not PLOW by reason of the COLD;\u00a0therefore\u00a0shall he BEG in\u00a0harvest, and\u00a0have NOTHING”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 20:4.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I went by the FIELD of the SLOTHFUL, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; 31 and, lo, it was ALL GROWN OVER WITH THORNS, and NETTLES had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. 32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. 33 Yet a little sleep, a LITTLE SLUMBER, a LITTLE FOLDING OF THE HANDS TO SLEEP: 34 so shall thy POVERTY come as one that\u00a0travelleth; and thy WANT as an armed man”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 24:30-34.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“GO TO THE ANT, THOU SLUGGARD; consider her ways, and be wise: 7 which\u00a0having\u00a0no guide, overseer, or ruler, 8\u00a0provideth\u00a0her meat in the summer, and GATHERETH her food in the harvest. 9 How long\u00a0wilt\u00a0thou sleep, O sluggard? when\u00a0wilt\u00a0thou arise out of thy sleep? 10 Yet a little SLEEP, a little SLUMBER, a little FOLDING of the hands to sleep: 11 so shall thy POVERTY come as one that TRAVELLETH, and thy WANT as an armed man”<\/i>\u00a0Proverbs 6:6-11.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
