Picture this:<\/strong> What I would love for my daughter to be is a pianist.<\/span><\/p>\n

I want her to want that for herself. I make available whatever I can for facilitate this, opportunities, pay for lessons, take her to concerts – whatever I believe it takes. I force nothing and would want her to do it out of her own free Will.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As time goes on – she gets serious about being a pianist, she loves it and wants to go as far as she can with it. I\u2019m delighted for her, I love it for her. She has chosen a path that I would have loved for her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reading Psalms 37:4<\/strong> got me to this – \u201cDelight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

As much as I\u2019d seen it as that the Lord will give me that which I desire – I saw that the desires that I have – come from Him when I delight in Him, when I seek His face, when I have a relationship with Him, knowing that He lives in me. What I desire is what He desires and when I come to Him and ask for those desires to be fulfilled- He willingly does at the right time because that is exactly what He desires for me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Just as the Lord desires that we desire the Word of God, desire to seek first His Kingdom, desire to know Him, desire to be vessels for His use – he delights in that and He fulfils those desires as we delight in Him with our whole heart.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So the desires that I have come from the Lord and the Lord gives me the desires of my heart as I delight in Him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord may I always delight in walking with you, in being in your presence.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
