FESTIVE\u00a0MOOD: KNOWING THE WHAT VS KNOWING THE HOW – TO PRAY!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“And it came to pass, that, as he was PRAYING in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, TEACH us [HOW] to pray, as John also TAUGHT his disciples”<\/i>\u00a0Luke 11:1\/Emphasis Mine.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0not enough to KNOW-WHAT the Scriptures Says, what’s MOST IMPORTANT is the KNOW-HOW to ENACT and APPROPRIATE the Scriptures into your\u00a0day-to-day\u00a0acts of DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In same scenarios, you need to know also,\u00a0it’s\u00a0not enough\u00a0to KNOW-WHAT to\u00a0PRAY\u00a0for, but\u00a0it’s\u00a0much\u00a0better\u00a0to KNOW-HOW to PRAY for that need; for\u00a0it’s\u00a0this reason the HOLY SPIRIT of the KNOW-HOW\u00a0is there to HELP us in the OUGHT. Hence, in the\u00a0Festive\u00a0MOOD,\u00a0you need to ensure you KNOW THE HOW as you KNOW THE WHAT to do in the SEASON with the REASON – Christ Jesus – Saviour and Lord. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The disciples of Jesus Christ witness how He prays and gets results and things done whilst they yet pray and get to\u00a0nowhere. And since it bothers them and of paramount importance, then they ask him to TEACH them on the HOW to pray which He eventually did.\u00a0[Luke 11:1-11].<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And the Holy Spirit is given to us today in the same scenario, to help us in our prayer life on HOW we OUGHT to pray especially during this season that we are\u00a0witnessing\u00a0by the grace of God. For while we indeed\u00a0know\u00a0WHAT to pray for in respects to the various needs before us, we do lack the full knowledge and understanding on the HOW we OUGHT to pray for such needs to get results as earnestly desired and expected.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So, while we are in this pressure of\u00a0Festive\u00a0mood,\u00a0it’s\u00a0imperative we pray aright, so that we get the fulness of joy that transcends and surpasses\u00a0what’s\u00a0before us in life and godly living.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Likewise\u00a0the Spirit also HELPETH our INFIRMITIES: for we KNOW NOT WHAT WE SHOULD PRAY FOR AS WE OUGHT: but the Spirit itself maketh INTERCESSION for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that SEARCHETH the hearts KNOWETH WHAT is the mind of the Spirit, because he MAKETH INTERCESSION for the saints ACCORDING to the WILL of God”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 8:26-27.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of TRUTH,\u00a0is come, he will GUIDE you into all TRUTH: for he shall not SPEAK of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will SHEW\u00a0you\u00a0things to come. 14 He shall GLORIFY me: for he shall receive of\u00a0mine, and\u00a0shall shew it unto you”\u00a0<\/i>John 16:12-14.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
