TO BEING TRANSFORMED: BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Herein are some Scriptural FOOD worth pondering [meditating] in context:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“That, regarding your previous way of life, you PUT OFF YOUR OLD SELF [completely discard your former nature], which is being CORRUPTED through deceitful desires, [23] and be continually RENEWED in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude], [24] and PUT ON THE NEW SELF [the regenerated and renewed nature], CREATED in God\u2019s image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation]”<\/i>\u00a0Ephesians 4:22-24\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may prove what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, WILL of God”<\/i>\u00a0Romans 12:1-2.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Therefore\u00a0we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our OUTER SELF is [progressively] wasting away, yet our INNER SELF is being [progressively] RENEWED DAY BY DAY. [17] For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent\u00a0splendor\u00a0and an endless blessedness]! [18] So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable”<\/i>\u00a02 Corinthians 4:16-18\/Amplified.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
