The Father’s Heart – LOVE AT ITS BEST: When You Do NOURISH And CHERISH Your SPOUSE And FAMILY!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Wives, SUBMIT yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 19 Husbands, LOVE your wives, and be not BITTER against them. 20 Children, OBEY your parents in ALL THINGS: for this is WELL PLEASING unto the Lord. 21 Fathers, PROVOKE not your children to ANGER, lest they be DISCOURAGED”<\/i>\u00a0Colossians 3:18-21.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There’s\u00a0nothing as awesome as to MARRY the PERSON you LOVE and LOVING the PERSON that you MARRIED. It makes a great deal to the making of a WHOLESOME family and home. As such,\u00a0it’s\u00a0imperative that we intentionally LOVE,\u00a0NUTURE, NOURISH and CHERISH our SPOUSE, and the FAMILY\u00a0we’ve\u00a0made out of\u00a0such unique relationship. And the best route to make it happen\u00a0is\u00a0to do life with your spouse through knowledge in the love of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE, [18] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height\u2014 [19] to KNOW the LOVE of Christ which passes [transcends, surpasses] knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God”<\/i>\u00a0Ephesians 3:17-19\/NKJV\/Emphasis mine.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . [7] Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to KNOWLEDGE, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered . . .”\u00a0<\/i>1 Peter 3:1-12.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I pray our Father God gives you the wisdom to see reasons in the grace with speed to ensure love as your hallmark and bedrock assurance in doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Be ye therefore FOLLOWERS of God, as dear children; 2 and WALK IN LOVE, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a SWEETSMELLING SAVOUR. . .21 SUBMITTING yourselves one to another in the FEAR (REVERENCE) of God. 22 Wives, SUBMIT yourselves unto your own husbands, AS unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their OWN husbands in\u00a0EVERY THING. 25 Husbands, LOVE your wives, EVEN AS CHRIST ALSO LOVED THE CHURCH, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR IT; 26 that he might SANCTIFY and CLEANSE it with the washing of water by the word, 27 that he might PRESENT it to himself a GLORIOUS church, not having SPOT, or WRINKLE, or ANY SUCH THING; but that it should be HOLY and WITHOUT BLEMISH. 28 So ought men to LOVE their wives as their own bodies. He that LOVETH his wife LOVETH himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but NOURISHETH and CHERISHETH it, even as the Lord the church: 30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you\u00a0in particular so\u00a0love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she\u00a0reverence\u00a0her husband”<\/i>\u00a0Ephesians 5:1-2, 21-33<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“And Isaac BROUGHT her into his mother Sarah\u2019s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he LOVED her: and Isaac was COMFORTED after his mother\u2019s death”<\/i>\u00a0Genesis 24:67.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“That they may TEACH the young women to be SOBER, to LOVE their husbands, to LOVE their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. 6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you”<\/i>\u00a0Titus 2:4-8<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
