With awesome privilege, I gladly welcome all visitors and existing browsers into this month of<strong><strong> NOVEMBER 2011 Themed: &#8220;READING THE WORD TO TRIUMPH&#8221;. <\/strong><\/strong>I sincerely commend you to read the following scriptures attached which are guidlines to the essence of the month theme. I trust that as you read through them our God will give you light to find grace in his sight and in all that pertains to life and godliness.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>Nehemiah 8:1-12 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong><\/strong><em>\u201c<strong><sup>1<\/sup><\/strong>And all the <strong>people gathered themselves together <\/strong>as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto <strong>Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel<\/strong>.<strong><sup>2<\/sup><\/strong>And Ezra the priest brought the <strong>law<\/strong> before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.<strong><sup>3<\/sup>And he read<\/strong> therein before the street that was before the water gate from the <strong>morning until midday<\/strong>, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the <strong>ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.<\/strong><sup>4<\/sup>And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.<strong><sup>5<\/sup>And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:<sup>6<\/sup><\/strong>And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, <strong>Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands<\/strong>: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.<strong><sup>7<\/sup><\/strong>Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.<strong><sup>8<\/sup>So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading<\/strong>.<sup>9<\/sup>And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. <strong>For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law<\/strong>.<strong><sup>10<\/sup><\/strong>Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; <strong>for the joy of the LORD is your strength.<sup>11<\/sup><\/strong>So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.<strong><sup>12<\/sup><\/strong>And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, <strong>because they had understood the words that were declared unto them<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong><em>1 Timothy 4:6-8 <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><em>\u201c<sup>6<\/sup>If thou put the brethren in <strong>remembrance<\/strong> of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. 7But refuse profane and old wives&#8217; fables, and <strong>exercise thyself rather unto godliness.<\/strong>\u00a0 8For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>Luke 6:1-5<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><em>\u2019\u2019And it came to pass on the second Sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath days. And Jesus answering them said, <strong>Have ye not read<\/strong> so much as this, what David did, when himself was hungry, and they which were with him; How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the showbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone? And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath\u2018\u2019<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><strong>Luke 4:16-21<\/strong> <em><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><em>\u2018\u2019And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, <strong>and stood up for to Read<\/strong>. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this Scripture fulfilled in your ears\u2019\u2019<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\">We do believe that the restoration of the reading of the Word of God will bring forth a dynamic transformation in the life&#8217;s of an individual and society at large. There is hope for you today for the Porter&#8217;s awesome touch through the reading of the Word if you can picture clearly, the path of life for you and you to reign in life. For a clear cut knowledge and understanding and wisdom of and in life will help you do life without stress, sweat, struggle and pain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\">However, more of this theme will be expanded in course of the <a title=\"Church Services &amp; Times Calendar\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redemptionlifeinternational.org\/\"><strong>SERVICES &amp; TIMES<\/strong> <\/a>in all meetings through the month.
