THE EAGLE WAY – SOARING AS AN EAGLE: THE EAGLE CHARACTERISTICS!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“As an EAGLE STIRRETH up her nest, FLUTTERETH over her young, SPREADETH abroad her WINGS, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 12 so the Lord ALONE did LEAD him, and there was NO STRANGE GOD with him.”<\/em> Deuteronomy 32:11-12.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The EAGLE is a large bird of prey with a massive hooked bill and long broad wings for soaring [gliding], and known and noted for its keenness of great sights [sightedness – insights and foresights] – which indicates it as a bird of vision, and of size, strength and with a powerful soaring flight. Eagles are a symbol of beauty, bravery, courage, honour, pride, determination and grace.<\/span><\/p>\n

“And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord CALLED unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; 4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I BARE you on EAGLES\u2019 WINGS, and BROUGHT you unto myself.\u201d<\/em> Exodus:193-4<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The WAY OF AN EAGLE IN THE AIR indicates the splendour, wonderful and elegant display with simplicity in the NURTURE and NATURE of the Eagle. This is what the scripture of Proverbs 30:18-19 <\/strong>described of this great, wonder and splendour of the magnificent bird – EAGLE.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not: THE WAY OF AN EAGLE IN THE AIR; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid\u2019\u2019<\/em> Proverbs 30:18-19.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Eagle tends to RENEW – rejuvenate and revitalise\u00a0 – itself at old age to keep itself full of life and vision. The Eagles do not allow age to deter them, instead RENEW their days to keep themselves alive and in command as the king of the air.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name . . . 5 who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is RENEWED like the EAGLE’S”<\/em> Psalms 103:1-5.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The EAGLES, are venerated as living symbols of power, freedom, and transcendence. What makes this bird so important and symbolic to humanity are its characteristics. And the likelihood characteristics of the Eagle are of the following but not limited:<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known of KEENNESS of sight \u2013 VISION<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known to be BRAVED (ferocious) \u2013 FEARLESS<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known to be of FIERCENESS (aggressive) – TENACIOUS<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known to RE-ENERGIES (metamorphosis) \u2013 VITALITY<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known as HIGH flyers \u2013 ALTITUDE<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known to NURTURE and NATURE their young \u2013 MENTORING<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known NOT to EAT dead meat – NON SCAVENGER<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known to FLOCK together \u2013 COMMUNITY<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known to ENSURE assurance \u2013 TRUSTING<\/span><\/p>\n

** The Eagles are known for BEAUTY in grace \u2013 ELEGANT<\/span><\/p>\n

** . . . and such like.<\/span><\/p>\n

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“As an EAGLE STIRRETH up her nest, fluttereth over her young, SPREADETH abroad her WINGS, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 12 so the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. 13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; 14 butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape”<\/em> Deuteronomy 32:11-14.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 ye also, as lively stones, are built up a SPIRITUAL house, an HOLY priesthood, to offer up SPIRITUAL sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which BELIEVE he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 9 But ye are a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should SHEW forth the PRAISES of him who hath CALLED you out of DARKNESS into his MARVELLOUS light: 10 which in time past WERE not a PEOPLE, but are NOW the PEOPLE of God: which had not OBTAINED mercy, but now have OBTAINED mercy”<\/em> 1 Peter 2:4-10.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
