WELCOME TO MONTH OCTOBER 2022: MONTH OF – “BUILDING UP YOUR PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH” – IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Month OCTOBER is the TENTH month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars; and\u00a0 it’s the sixth of seven months to have a length of 31 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

October was originally the eighth month of the Roman calendar. It comes from the Latin word “OCTO” meaning eight. Later, it became the 10th month when January and February were added to the Calendar. And spiritually, the number \u201ceight\u201d is said to be a symbol of new beginning signifying WEALTH, PROSPERITY, PEACE and FERTILITY. October is normally time of the year when farmers harvest their crops. In the northern hemisphere October is usually considered the second month of autumn and is commonly associated with the season of spring in parts of the Southern Hemisphere, and autumn in parts of the Northern Hemisphere, where it is the seasonal equivalent to April in the Southern Hemisphere and vice versa. Month October indicates BLESSEDNESS.<\/span><\/p>\n

I therefore employ you into this gracious month of BLESSEDNESS of our God by – “BUILDING UP YOUR PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH” – IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD and by HOLDING FORTH THE MYSTERY OF THE FAITH IN PURE CONSCIENCE – TOWARD GOD AND TOWARD MEN in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.<\/span><\/p>\n

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:<\/span><\/p>\n

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like PRECIOUS FAITH with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath given unto us all things that PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are given unto us exceeding GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” <\/em>2 Peter 1:1-4.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“But ye, beloved, BUILDING UP yourselves on your MOST HOLY FAITH, PRAYING in the Holy Ghost” <\/em>Jude 1:20.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“HOLDING the MYSTERY OF THE FAITH in a PURE CONSCIENCE” <\/em>1 Timothy 3:9.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“And herein do I EXERCISE myself, to have always a CONSCIENCE void of offence toward God, and toward men” <\/em>Acts 24:16.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into this GRACE wherein we STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” <\/em>Romans 5:1-2.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . 7 that being JUSTIFIED BY His GRACE, we should be MADE HEIRS according to the hope of eternal life” <\/em>Titus 3:4-7.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a WORKMAN that NEEDETH not to be ASHAMED, rightly DIVIDING (APPLYING) the word of truth” <\/em>2 Timothy 2:15.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” <\/em>Acts 2:20<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to the WORD of his grace, which is able to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED”<\/em> Acts 20:32.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“So then FAITH cometh by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of God” <\/em>Romans 10:17.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“. . . but the JUST shall LIVE by his FAITH” <\/em>Habakkuk 2:4 (Galatians 3:11; Romans 1:17; Hebrews 10:38; (Romans 14:23; Hebrews 11:6).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“But continue thou in the things which thou hast LEARNED and hast been ASSURED of, knowing of whom thou hast LEARNED them; 15 and that from a child thou hast known the HOLY SCRIPTURES, which are ABLE to make thee WISE unto SALVATION THROUGH FAITH WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS. 16 All scripture is given by INSPIRATION of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” <\/em>2 Timothy 3:14-17.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, THE WORD OF FAITH, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED. 10 For with the HEART man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH CONFESSION is made unto SALVATION . . 17 So then FAITH cometh by hearing, and hearing by THE WORD of God ” <\/em>Romans 10:8-10, 17.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“And how I kept back nothing that was PROFITABLE unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, 21 testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, REPENTANCE TOWARD God, and FAITH TOWARD our Lord Jesus Christ”<\/em> Acts 20:20-21.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“For I say, through THE GRACE GIVEN UNTO ME, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man THE MEASURE OF FAITH” <\/em>Romans 12:3.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“But unto every one of us is GIVEN GRACE according to THE MEASURE OF THE GIFT of Christ” <\/em>Ephesians 4:7.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
