SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath FAITH, and have not WORKS? CAN FAITH SAVE HIM? 15 If a brother or sister be NAKED, and DESTITUTE of DAILY food, 16 and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are NEEDFUL to the body; WHAT DOTH IT PROFIT? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone”<\/em> James 2:14-17.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.\u00a0 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.\u00a0 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.\u00a0 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, \u2018Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:\u00a0 35 for I was HUNGRY and you gave Me FOOD; I was THIRSTY and you gave Me DRINK; I was a STRANGER and you TOOK Me in;\u00a0 36 I was NAKED and you CLOTHED Me; I was SICK and you VISITED Me; I was in PRISON and you CAME to Me.\u2019 37 \u201cThen the righteous will answer Him, saying, \u2018Lord, when did we see You HUNGRY and FEED You, or THIRSTY and give You DRINK?\u00a0 38 When did we see You a STRANGER and take You in, or NAKED and CLOTHE You?\u00a0 39 Or when did we see You SICK, or in PRISON, and COME to You?\u2019\u00a0 40 And the King will answer and say to them, \u2018Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.\u2019 41 \u201cThen He will also say to those on the left hand, \u2018Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:\u00a0 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;\u00a0 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, NAKED and you did not CLOTHE Me, SICK and in PRISON and you did not VISIT Me.\u2019 44 \u201cThen they also will answer Him, saying, \u2018Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a STRANGER OR NAKED OR SICK OR IN PRISON, AND DID NOT MINISTER TO YOU?\u2019\u00a0 45 Then He will answer them, saying, \u2018Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.\u2019\u00a0 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life\u201d<\/em> Matthew 25:31-46.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man\u2019s religion is vain. 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To VISIT THE FATHERLESS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR AFFLICTION, and to keep himself unspotted from the world”<\/em> James 1:26-27.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
