AFD EASTER 2009

April 12, 2009 By Chukie MORSI Leave a Comment

IT’S NOT EASTER – IT’S YOUR PASSOVER! HE’S RISEN!!

Achievers’ Daring Essence of Living A Resurrected Life

Shalom! I bring you REDEMPTION and kingdom greetings in the redeeming name of our PASSOVER LAMB, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen. Hosanna! Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD, hosanna in the highest – Matthew 21:9.

I do know that a man’s ignorance is his own mountain and the knowledge of the truth will set him free, because ones dominion, freedom and effectual faith in life is a product of ones knowledge as enacted in these scriptures – Daniel 11:3, John 8:32, Philemon 1:6 and Romans 6:14 . Hence I therefore commend you to take time to ponder and meditate on the theme through and through in prayers.

Acts 20:32 “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.“

MOTHER’S DAY MARCH 2009

March 22, 2009 By Chukie MORSI Leave a Comment

IF I WERE A MOTHER!

– Empowering Godly Woman To Become Achiever –

Luke 1:45 ‘’And blessed is she that believed for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.’’

Prov. 14:1 ‘’Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. ‘’

Prov. 24:3-4 ‘’Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.’’

Prov. 29:15 ‘‘The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.’’

Blessed Mother Day!I bring you special and awesome greetings in the precious name of our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in whom we live, we move and we have our being – Amen! It beholds God in His grace to call you His people – A mother, a godly woman, an achiever. It’s my prayer that by this special edition of the Achievers’ Faith Digest you might be inspired to aspire and not expire; that you might be enlightened, receive revelation and graceful empowerment by the spirit of God – to the end you might excel, your dreams and aspirations in life might be fruitful and you can be a blessing to yourself, family, humanity and posterity without hindrances. I also pray that you will find the goodwill of God to celebrate the love that the special time brings on– MOTHERS DAY!

MOTHERS DAY

Thanks to God for Mothers’ Day! For the smiles and virtues it brings on – Mothers – faces on this day. Looking through the happenings in the world today – a time supposedly to be of mans ‘great’ invention, discovery and economic empowering – has given us neither peace nor harmony but trauma in all human phases of existence. Today, killings and wars go on our streets, uncertainties in our nations, our world with political and economic instability, family unrest and breakdown, relational unfaithfulness, generational decadence, business and career setbacks etc. just to name a few. All this being is in pursuit of answers to human problems. Our world cries with great thirst and hunger, seeking for who’s – Mothers’ Child – will quench her yearnings, desires and aspirations. This is the reason that Mothers Day – a yearly set apart day to appreciate and celebrate Motherhood in the Christian faith world – which I consider to be very vital to all mankind irrespective of religious beliefs, race or generation, although dates differ in nations – March 22, ’09 in United Kingdom.

Am specially constrained by the inspiration of the blessed Holy Spirit to remind or inform you that you are – SPECIAL. Listening to the sayings of the Holy Spirit as in Luke 1:45, the Holy Spirit wants to let you know again and again that God is determined to bring to fruitfulness and fulfilment all things He has spoken to you, or is speaking or will speak to you about as you believe in His words.

To be a mother is an act of grace. Any woman can be a Mum, but only a special heartfelt woman lives beyond been a mum but – a Mother! Motherhood is special and much more vital when you are a godly woman whose earnest desire is to please God by seeing God’s purposes come to pass in your life, family and humanity. That is when your whole life totally depends on God’s guidance, not mere wishful thoughts and concepts of human ideology. Not the consideration of God as a last resort after other efforts and trials have been sorted and made outside Him as if He does not exist at all. God wants to bring about a glorious today and better tomorrow to our generation and posterity and motherhood has a very major part to play in bringing it to fruitfulness. Will you Let God?

IF I WERE A MOTHER – A godly and blessed woman

Luke 1:45 ‘’And blessed is she that believed for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.’’

1 Peter 3:5 – 9 ‘’For after this manner in the old time the holy (godly) women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves . . . and as being heirs together of the grace of life . . . Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.’’

Galatians 3:13-14 ‘’Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.’’

The context scriptures above indicate one primary thing – Blessed or Blessings. The blessed mother is the woman who has entered a covenant of grace made available by our Lord Jesus Christ for all who will believe in Him. To be – Blessed – means to be empowered to: succeed, achieve, become, bring forth or bring about positive results in life. When someone says to you – be blessed or God bless or God’s blessings – they are invariably declaring you to be empowered to succeed. For the Achievers woman – Mother – is empowered by God to succeed in life endeavours as a – woman, wife and mother. It’s a fact in society that not all mothers are wives but one thing is certain they are called woman, mother to a child or children. A godly Christian woman is blessed to achieve greatness in life and have good success (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3; 3John2).

The godly Christian woman – Mother- is called to inherit a blessing as found in 1 Peter 3:9. The godly Christian woman – mother – is redeemed from curses to a blessed life as in Galatians 3:13-14. The godly Christian woman is blessed simply because she is a Believer and believes in the entirety of God’s word and promises concerning her in matters of life as in Luke 1:45. If I were a mother – godly woman – I will live in the grace of God and in the consciousness of the blessedness God has afforded me in Christ Jesus as a woman – redeemed and blessed. This act of consciousness in our daily life will liberate and give freedom to you, family, church, society and all and sundry.

IF I WERE A MOTHER – Excellence in a virtuous woman

Proverb 31:10‘’ Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.’’

Proverb 31:29‘’Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.’’

Proverb 14:1 ‘’Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.’’

Proverb 24:3-4‘’Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.’’

To excel means – to do well, to achieve, to be exceptional, to surpass, above limit, to stand out or be outstanding and superior while virtue has to do with good behaviour, noble character, moral goodness and good qualities in life etc.

If I were a woman, my priority would be to use my God given blessedness in my life to excel in virtue. The proverbs thirty one woman happens to be a mother with such an outstanding virtue that is worth knowing and living for if we must bring about the desired change in our life, family and society at large. One key issue of this proverb woman is that she is not like any kind of woman but an excellent woman in virtue – Goodness. She is blessed – empowered to succeed – and she lives this out. I believe that if I was a woman, I would be the new woman for the new Church.

There is a heart cry today in families, the church and society at large for a true motherhood. Betrayers are found in homes, the church and society today where children have been abandoned and some lack proper parental care hence they live with broken spirits and emotional heartbreak. It’s become a terrible and damaging issue of life today that the rate of divorce going on in Christian FAITH life is heartbreaking when considering that the child or children involved become the victims of two elephants fighting. These acts of parental instability as a result of  – Mothers or/and Fathers – ends up damaging the child’s ability to trust in God fully in spite of the respective individual explanations which they can’t comprehend. This individualistic selfishness for whatever reasons only ends in crushing the child faith in God. Unlike the Proverbial mother whose daily effort is to excel in virtue – goodness – by the blessedness – empowerment – she has received to succeed.

IF I WERE A MOTHER – Will Pursue Grace To Excel

John 15:5 ‘’I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.’’

Ephesians 2:8-10 ‘’For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.’’

2Timothy 1:9 ‘’Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.’’

Excelling in virtue is an act of the grace of God made available to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is God’s kindness shown towards people because He loves them; Grace is the enablement from on high which is beyond human ability. Grace is God’s free gift given to us without our involvement. GRACE is – God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. This means that for a virtuous mother to achieve and succeed, she needs the grace available from the Godhead:

2 Corinthians 13:14 ‘’’The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.’’

Excelling in virtue as a godly woman – mother – one needs to make Jesus Christ the Lord of their life; the Holy Spirit has to be your general overseer and the Father God has to be positioned to be Father indeed in all matters of doing life. Excelling in virtue is about doing life for the good of our wellbeing, family, church and society at large.

IF I WERE A MOTHER – godly, blessed & virtues woman – my passion daily will be to  pursue God continually and to ask of Him for the grace to excel in virtues in becoming as  (not like) the Proverb thirty-one woman in these respects:

1.Be VITAL as Deborah. Proverb 31:11; Judges 4 & 5.

2.Be an INTERCESSOR as Anna. Proverb 31:18b; Luke 2:36-38.

3.Be RESOURCESFUL as Dorcas. Proverb 31:11-15, 17-18; 24, 27; Acts 9:36-42.

4.Be TEMPERATE as Esther. Proverb 31:26; Esther 1-9.

5.Be UNFAILING & DEPENDABLE as Ruth. Proverb 31:11, 28; Ruth 1-4.

6.Be OPTIMISTIC & POSITIVE as Mary Magdalene. Proverb 31:16, 25; John 20:1-18.

7.Be UNIQUE, SIMPLE & ELEGANT as Mary. Proverb 31:22, 29; Luke 1:26-33.

8.Be SUBMISSIVE as Sarah. Proverb 31:15, 23, 25; Genesis 18:11-24; 1 peter 3:1-6.

9.Be WISE as Lydia. Prov. 31:16, 25; Acts 16:14-15.

10. Be an OVERCOMER as Jael. Proverb 31:25; Judges 4 & 5.

11. Be MOTHERLY as Hannah. Proverb 31:15, 21; 29:15; 22:6, 15; 23:14; 1 Samuel 1-3.

12. Be AFFECTIONATE as the Shunammite Woman. Proverb 31:20, 26; 2 Kings 4:8-37.

13. Be NICE as Abigail. Proverb 31:12; 1 Samuel 25:2-18, 23, 32.

14. Be FAITHFUL & EXEMPLARY as Lois & Eunice. Proverb 31:23; 2 Timothy 1:3-6.

Finally: IF I WERE A MOTHER – What else is there as virtue!

Galatians 2:22-23 ‘’ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.’’

Philippians 4:8 ‘’Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.’’

The above scriptures in context are other great virtues which can enhance the grace for motherhood. IF I WERE A MOTHER – godly, blessed & virtues woman – I will trust in the grace of God to help me create and manifest these virtues in my day to day life, also, to help me create an atmosphere which my family and society can look up to and enjoy. For I know when I do this I will raise godly children thereby averting the shame that comes to a mother as in;

Proverbs 29:15 ‘’The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.’’

Dearly beloved Mother, I do pray that you will have a wonderful MOTHERS’ DAY not only for today being special but for the rest of your life in the empowering name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. BE ETERNALLY BLESSED!

Dare To Be A MOTHER . . . Be Empowered With VIRTUE . . . Be A Godly Woman ACHIEVER

CHRISTMAS 2008 EDITION

December 25, 2008 By Chukie MORSI Leave a Comment

This Christmas!

‘Celebrating Christ’s Birth – Commemorating God’s Love’

Matt 1:16-25 ‘’And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ . . . Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost . . . And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins . . . Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us . . . And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS’’

Romans 5:8 ‘‘But God commendeth his LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us’’

Hallelujah! Praise God!! It’s Christmas again!!! I bring you kingdom greetings in the precious name of our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in whom we live, we move and we have our being. Amen! It beholds God in His grace to call you His people in which am empowered in this commission of the Gospel to pray and trust that you will find the good will to celebrate Christ and commemorate the love that the season brings – This Christmas!

Christmas 2008 Edition

Thanks to God for Christmas, for the smiles it brings on peoples faces during this season. Looking through the happenings in the world today – a time of mans ‘great’ invention and discovery, economic empowering of man – has given us neither peace nor harmony but trauma in all human phases of existence. Today, killings and wars go on our streets, uncertainties in our nations, our world with political and economic instability, family breakdown, relational unfaithfulness, generational decadence, business and career setbacks etc. just to name a few. All this being is in pursuit of answers to human problems. Our world cries with great thirst and hunger, seeking for who will quench her yearnings, desires and aspirations. This is the reason that Christmas – a yearly celebrating of the birth of Christ – is vital to all mankind irrespective of religious beliefs, race or generation.

Christmas may be sectioned in this wise: ‘CHRIST’ – meaning the anointed One, the Messiah, the Saviour. MAS from ‘MASS’ – is the yearly Celebration of the birth of Christ with a grace or benediction of the triune God. 2Cor.13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen”

The Christ – Humanity

1 John 4:1-3 ‘’Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world’’

John 1:14 ‘’And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth’’

1 John 5:7-12 ‘’ For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life: and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life’’

1Timothy 3:16 ‘’And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory’’

As I skip through the various news channels on TV, radio stations, make and receive phone calls, go through the world wide web, drive though the streets in town – the jingling one hears is of the Christmas news and events. People of all nations are buying, selling, making or marking an event to make this Christmas worth celebrating.

However there are other opinions about Christmas, Some say that it’s a heathen day, a pagan holiday indicating that December 25th is not the day on which Christ was born but in October, however with no date to it. According to some it is for pagans and satan due to the glamorous events and activities that are now associated to this date. Just because the enemy perverts and distorts the meaning and essence of the celebrating of Christmas, does not mean that we should let go of that which we believe is of God.

For me and every supposed spirit born child of God, what is vital in the whole scenario of indifference is that Christ was born in the flesh – humanity. The scripture in 1 John 4:1 –3 and 1 John 5:7-12 says that any person or people who do not acclaim that Christ was born in the flesh are the antichrist. Christ means the Messiah, the Saviour, the anointed one while ‘anti’ means to be against. This indicates that such a person does not believe in Christ’s virgin and humanity birth and as such becomes an enemy of JEHOVAH God. It’s also proof that such a person or group of persons have undermined the record and prophesy spoken of God in time prior to Christ’s birth as in the holy write. Such an individual or group, the Holy Scripture calls a fool. (Psalms 14:1; Isaiah 53:1)

Celebrating – The Birth Of Christ

Isaiah 7:14 ‘’Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel‘’ (Matthew 1:23)

Micah 5:2 ‘’But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. (Matt 2:6)

Gen. 49:10 ‘’The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be’’

To celebrate means to observe in a special way, to praise honour solemnise, worship and to make merriments of great joy.

Celebrating the birth of Christ is the most awesome event any creation of God should count a privilege to partake in – not only in this season of life but a daily experience. When you come to know the significance of His birth and what it has brought to you as an individual you will desire to have Him born in your heart and not just in the world. You will be compelled to seek after Him, to worship, honour and celebrate him like the three wise men from the east according to the scriptures – Matt 2:1–12; Luke 2:1-20.

Let us celebrate him for he is born indeed; He is indeed born in our hearts and in our being. His birth is the rebirth of:

  • Peace and goodwill toward men
  • Hope for men.
  • Beauty for ashes
  • Oil of joy for mourning
  • Garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness
  • A better covenant for men
  • God’s forgiveness and righteousness for all mankind
  • The true and genuine love
  • Faith for the spirit of fear
  • A new spirit and mindset of the kingdom of God and of the heaven
  • A new identity with our creator God
  • True knowledge, understanding and wisdom of our God
  • True service and worship of God
  • A majestic and awesome generation
  • . . . and many more

The Cause of Christ’s Birth

John 18:37 ‘’Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this CAUSE came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice’’

1John 3:8 ‘’He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil’’

John 3:16 ‘‘For God so loved the world, that he GAVE his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life’’

In Christmas season, people make that special journey to see their loved ones – friends and family. Some change their residential environment, move or buy a property, change a wardrobe, furniture, house curtains, and electronics and with some theirs is to make some outstanding decorations and paintings. Some might have gone to buy their first car or change for another, while some move to new cities or towns; others are making the best of a special tantalising meal after a long time. Promises and relationships are established or re-established with special love tokens; some are entering for the first time or relocating back to the Church after some absence and many, many other doings.

Only the heavens can explain or quantify to what extent money has exchanged hands and travels to meet the human demands. The groceries store and manufacturers have to put extra effort to meet the targets of human needs and wants which invariably had taken roots of mans heart during this season. Unfortunately some may not have the economic power in terms of finance, yet they will do anything to see their wishes come to reality.

And as important as these cravings or uncontrollable desires are to meet some self set standards, they are incomparable with the true reason for the season – The CAUSE for which Christ came or was born into the world. Christ was born for these causes:

  • To save us from our sin (Matt. 1:21; Rom. 5:1-2; Acts 3:26; 4:12; 1 Tim. 1:15; 2:5; Isaiah 53:5-10)
  • To give us eternal life (John 17:3; John 3:16; 1 John 5:11-12)
  • To restore us to God’s kind of love (Rom. 5:8; John. 3:16-17; John 15:13)
  • To restore us to God’s kind of peace (Eph. 2:14, John 14:27; Phil. 4:7)
  • To destroy the works of satan against our life (Acts 10:38; 1John 3:8-9)
  • To restore us to an abundant (overflowing) life (John 10:10; Jere. 29:11)
  • To reconcile us back to God (2Cor. 5:17-21; Eph. 2:1-22)
  • To give us true freedom and deliverance (Like 1:68-71; 4:18-19; Heb. 2:14-15; Col. 1:13-14)
  • To redeem us from the curse and effect of the law and the fall of man (Gal.3:13-14; Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:14; Rev. 5:9-10)
  • To restore us to a place of healing and health (Matt. 8:16-17; 3John 2; Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Pet. 2:24)
  • To give us a true spirit of knowledge and understanding to life (John 17:3; 1John 5:18-20)
  • To prosper us (3John 2; 2 Cor. 8:9; Matt. 6:33; John 10:10; Josh. 1:8)
  • . . . and many much more

Commemorating Love

Rom. 5:8 ‘’But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us’’

John 1:18 ‘’No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.’’

1 John 4:7-11 ‘’Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another’’

To commemorate is an act of honour and to keep alive the memory of the love of God towards us because of what Jesus has done. This Christmas – the annual or yearly celebration of the birth of Christ can only be relevant and with virtue if God’s kind of love becomes our centre pace of life. In other words our celebration should not centre only on the food, wine and merriment. The main core heart-of-God why we celebrate Christ is to commemorate God’s LOVE that He has abundantly showered to the world. It is for this Love drive that Christ came into the world.

If there be any meaningful reason to celebrate, we must take out time from our comfort zone to demonstrate this great love for which we’ve been received and accepted in the beloved of God. When we lift the banners of this love in a genuine heart, we will end the bitterness of life without struggle, it will stop wars and killings on our streets, it will comfort the bereaved and strengthen the Orphans; it will end many hunger and thirst in our neighbourhood and in the world today. It will give clothing and shelter to the less-have or helpless; it will save the lives of children betrayed by their parents; It will stop the marital and relationship breakdowns and decadence. It will silence the terrorist and expose their hidings, networks and evil in our societies. It will silence the enemy of our generation. Gossip, betrayal, kidnappings and others will die a natural death. Love is the only spiritual silence that can keep our enemy at bay while we advance the Gospel of the Lord in our various activities of life.

Jesus was born with love, for love and he died for love. God is love and all who indeed celebrate His son – Lord Jesus Christ – must celebrate Him with a large heart of a true and genuine Love as also in the following scriptures. 1 John 4:6-21 and 5:1-12.

Finally: The Mass – The Benediction

2 Corinth.13:14 ‘The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen’

However, as wonderful as Christmas celebration is, be it known today that Christ is enthroned. He is no longer the:

  • The babe in the manger
  • The servant to death
  • Neither the limited one nor the Christ on the Cross.

He is now the:

  • God on the throne (Seated at the right hand of the Father God)
  • Omnipotent (unlimited, all powerful),
  • Omnipresent (He is present everywhere at the same time) and
  • Omniscience (all knowing)

(Rev. 1:10-18; 19:16; Matt. 28:18; Phil 3:21).

Let us enthrone him in our heart, crown Him King of kings and Lord of lords and establish His presence in a daily commemoration and celebration and not just in another one year again.

I challenge and commend everyone who by virtue of grace have been ignited by the spirit of God’s love in Christ Jesus, to arise with faith and earnestly go and extend the good love of God in your hearts to others – that is the essence of a true living. You can begin from your home and the fire will spread to give hope to someone else near you.

I pray you have and enjoy a fabulous and great celebration of this Christmas and may God’s eternal love ever be your portion and prosper your goings during this season as you commemorate and celebrate His love. 2 Corinthians13:14 ‘The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen’

Mothers’ Day 2008

March 9, 2008 By Chukie MORSI Leave a Comment

MOTHER’S DAY ’08

I’ve been inspired to entitled 2008 Mother’s Day, ‘The great impart of a Genuine Mother’s Faith’’.

2 Tim. 1:3-7 ‘’ I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind’’

Prov. 31:10-31 ‘Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates’’.

I thank God for another opportunity to stir up every mother’s spirit. It’s my prayer that during this period of Mothers’ Day, every mother comes to a reasonable understanding of how powerful their FAITH in God is to this generation. That’s far more than receiving mere gifts, cards, special meals and outings.

Any woman can be a mum, but it takes a great hearted-spirit to be a mother, much more a significant mother in the life of a person. The book of wisdom, Proverbs 31:10-31 makes a very important remark in verses 10 and 28 which I have coined ‘’A genuine mother’s Faith who can find? For her price is far above rubies’’

Motherhood is a highly favoured calling affecting all that pertains to this life and godliness, hence Apostle Paul wasted no time reminding Timothy to reject such mothers that have no genuine faith and not to give such also an opportunity to destroy his destiny. 1Tim.4:7-8:

‘’But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come’’.

While in 1 Tim. 1:3-5, he recalls the ’GENUINE FAITH’ of Timothy’s grandmother Lois and mother Eunice, which apostle Paul saw in Timothy supposing to be from his mothers’.

As Mother’s day is cherished today, especially here in England, it’s worth pondering on your Faith if you’re a mother. Being a mother is a major responsibility and not just only a place of honour and dignity. For in motherhood, there destiny of life is made, nations evolve, hence the kind of FAITH you communicate from your life and nucleus family is the faith that shapes the world.

Philemon 3-6: ‘’Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus’’.

When mothers have ‘Genuine Faith’ in God, the Family, Church, community and nations are honoured and dignified.

Heb. 11:11 ‘’ Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised’’

Prov. 10:1 ‘’The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother’’

Prov.15:20 ‘’ Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness’’

Prov.17:25 ‘’ A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bore him’’.

When mothers take their God given place like Deborah of old, nation’s dignities are respected as in the book of Judges 4 and 5.

Like Timothy’s mothers, Lois and Eunice, I plead with you to ARISE, take your motherhood dream and place it in ‘GENUINE FAITH’ to Achieve God’s purpose in your life. Your genuine faith in God and God can make it together building a loving family, triumphant Church safe community and a moral godly nation. For when you WIN your family, you’ve won your world. Hence I challenge that you, NEVER GIVE UP, for you are a winner and your dreams are achievable with God.

Have a lovely MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION while always have in mind that Great Mother . . . Genuine Faith . . . Blessed Heritage as LOIS – EUNICE – TIMOTHY!

Fathers’ Day 07

June 17, 2007 By Chukie MORSI Leave a Comment

FATHERS’ DAY ’07

A challenging call to be a ‘’FAITHFUL FATHER’’.

Proverbs 20:5-6 ‘’Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out. Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a FAITHFUL man (FATHER) who can find?’’

Any man can be a Dad, but it takes a special HEARTED spirit to be a FATHER. A Christian FATHER has three primary calls and roles in family life that can possibly affect the society and the world at large:

  • A Priest
  • A Prophet and
  • A King

As a Priest, you are to offer Prayers, sacrifices of praises and appease God for your family.

Job 1:5 ‘’And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually’’

As a Prophet, you are to minister to the Lord and receive also godly inspiration, revelation and direction for your family.

Deuteronomy 11:18-25 ‘’ Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou SITTEST in thine house, and when thou WALKEST by the way, when thou LIEST down, and when thou RISESTt up.

And thou shalt WRITE them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you’’

Deuteronomy 29:29 ‘’The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law’’

Amos 3:7 ‘’ Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets’’

Hosea 12:13 ‘’And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved’’

And as a King, with a shepherd heart, not only to provide for your family, but to lay your life down, fight, protect, take a stand and exercise authority on behalf of your family over the enemy insurgence, influences, attacks and intentions both spiritually and otherwise in a challenging world. John 10:10-11 ‘’The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep’’

1 Samuel 17:32-37 ‘’ And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.

And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee’’.

Beloved, when you know these and make them a pattern of life, your effort as a father will definitely be rewarded by our God and Father in heaven. I wish you the very best of this seasons Father’s day celebration. Enjoy it and be eternally blessed.
