What am I doing in Prayer? How should I Pray?

  • In Prayer I am holding God’s Word up to Him like mirror. There are His Word and He promised.
  • I say like a mirror because the Word is God, He sees Himself in His Word.
  • When you quote the Word, you quote God.
  • Prayer is the Word of God through lips of Faith.
  • Prayer is how we come into the presence of God, commune with Him and communicate with Him.
  • Prayer enriches us spiritually.

Be eternally blessed to know and discover this truth about Prayer. The reality and truth of Life is this: Discovery brings Recovery. Amen!

Saying The WORD . . . is . . . Sowing The WORD

Proverbs 6:2 “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.”

Mark 11:23 “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Mark4:14, 20 “The sower soweth the word. . . . And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.”

2 Corinthians 9:10 “Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)“

Your destiny is being fashion daily by the daily acts of what you Say.  By SAYING the Word of God which I called Word of Faith and Life, you are taking an act of SOWING the Word that creates and shapens the atmosphere you want to enjoy.

Mark 4:14-20 concludes the acts of what BECOME of the SOWER who went sowing seed. The seed, which Christ called the Word of God eventually produces diverse folds of results – Thirtyfold, Sixtyfold and Hundredfold. The good seed sown germinated and eventually reproduces after its kind.

Like every good plant seed, same is the Word of God. When sown by the act of Sayings of Faith just as the hearing of Faith, it produces a tree, which then goes to make a forest or woodlands, that is, the gracious atmosphere you want to enjoy.  The reason been that plant seed, same as the Word of God possesses the potential within it to become viable in life. That makes the acts of saying liken to the act of planting and watering to produce eventual results very crucial in our daily life as in Proverbs 18:20-21 and Proverbs 15:23.

Proverbs 18:20-21: “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”.

Proverbs 15:23: “A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!”.

You become what you are by the abundance of the gracious WORDS of Faith and Life that you daily sow by the acts of your sayings. Therefore, Saying the Word is Sowing the Word and the Word sown will then create and shape the atmosphere and lifestyle which you either hate or enjoy.

BECOMING WHOM & WHAT YOU BELIEVE

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.“

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 10:30, 34-35 “I and my Father are one . . . Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If He called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken“

Psalms 82:6 “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are the children of the most High “

Genesis 26:12-14 “. . . And the man Became great, and went forward, and grew until he Became very great . . .“

The Act of Believing is made available to all mankind. It is an integral default in men. Man’s existence today has a lot to do with whom and what He believes in. Whom and What you believe in determines how your destiny is being shaped and moulded. It’s for this cause people of all races, nations, genders and generations are in one conflict or the other, either on personal levels or general levels. God wants us to exercise Faith in whatsoever we Believe Him for. Believing God is a characteristic of Faithfulness, but exercising Faith on what you believe Him for, it is your human spirit responding on your belief on the word of God. That is, your human spirit acting on the word of God.

FAITH: Is acting on the Belief

BELIEVE: Is the characteristics of Faithfulness

Faith must be acted. God’s blessings upon your life depend on your Faith. Fear is a demon spirit and is the opposite of faith and the devil’s instrument to paralyse your Faith in God.

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

By Faith, you become whom and what you Believe. Abraham believed God and it was counted or reckoned unto him for righteousness, he became what he believed of himself in God. Faith is the seeing eye of the act of Believing – Galatians 3:6-9 (Romans 4:17-25). The two blind men believed the Word of Christ, they become (had) what they believed in Faith for – Matthew 9:29 (27-31). The act to believe and exercise faith is spiritual – Take time to Think or Ponder or Meditate on these things (Philippians 4:8).

FAITH TESTIMONY – The Miracle In Your Mouth

Death & life are in the power of the tongue. Prov 18:21
Proverbs 18:20-21 ”A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Proverbs 6:2 ”Thou are snared with the WORDS OF THY MOUTH, thou are taken with the WORDS OF THY MOUTH”

Hebrews 10:23 ”Let us hold fast the PROFESSION of our FAITH without wavering (for he is faithful that promised)”

Revelation 12:11‘‘And they overcame him – satan – by the blood of the Lamb, and by the WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; and they loved not their lives unto the death”.

Faith Testimony is the vocal expression of your Faith – On what God has done, has began to do and will yet do for you – Mark 11:20-24.

Your Faith is the result of your believing world or system. Your believing system or world is as result of your  heart  content. Your heart content is as result of your feeding enrichment. As it is written ” . . . out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” Luke 6:45/Matthew 12:34

Faith Testimony – an act of declaring, professing or confessing – of the Word of Faith and Life is necessary as it affects the miracles God is delivering into your hand. This is spiritual, legal and vital to ensure and create the atmosphere – the world – you cherish and want to enjoy. Hebrew 10:23; Romans 4:17-19. This is what David did in 1 Samuel 17:32-50 to bring down the giant – Goliath – in his life and in the life of his people – The Israelites.

Faith Testimony stimulates faith and challenges God to act on your behalf. It sets the Angels to work on your behalf – Hebrews 1:14, Ecclesiastics 5:6; Psalm 103:20.

Faith Testimony – not unbelief or doubt or a lie – is based on the truth of The WORD of God. Faith Testimony is an attitude of your being grateful to God. It is a sign of gratitude, a sign of trust, belief and of faith in God and from God. A sign of thanksgiving to God. Faith Testimony is speaking forth the unseen – unknown – to the seen – known. 2 Corinthians 4:13, 18.

Proverbs 12:14 “A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth; and the recompense of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him”

Proverbs 13:2 “A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth, but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence”

SPEAK WELL . . .  LIVE WELL . . . THERE’S  A MIRACLE IN YOUR MOUTH

PRAYER: Your Covenant Right of Grace

Prayer Mark 1:35 ”And in the morning, rising up a great while before day (dawn), he (Jesus) went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed”


Hebrews 4:14-16 ‘‘ Seeing, then, that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are yet without sin. Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may OBTAIN mercy, and find GRACE to help in time of need”.

A man’s future can be noted by his routine activities in life (Luke 9:18, 28-29; Luke 6:12-13)– Just like Jesus, Abraham, the Apostles etc. You cannot be confused in a day you begin with God as Jesus did – A great while before DAY. DAWN DAY WILL GIVE YOU DONE DAY. God is under obligation to ensure that your dawn day is done, and you are victorious, triumphant and reign in Dominion etc. When you rise with the Sunrise, your light will shine through the day (Prov. 4:18/Malachi 4:2). We are born, sustain and live by prayer.  Every answer to need came because there was a prayer destined to it. Prayer is the greatest privilege any man can have with God. Prayer is an executive communion with God. Hence the Apostles could say, we will give ourselves to prayer (Acts 6:4). Until you see prayer as a goodly pearl (precious stone) that demands your selling all, you cannot enjoy the fullness of God (Matt. 13:44-46). You cannot fail except you fail to pray,  Prayer will unlock the heaven (Matt. 3:16-17/Luke 3:21-22). Watch and Pray so that you will never be a victim or a prey to the enemy. Your AUTHORITY in the kingdom is in your prayer – the level of flow you have is in your prayer life and fellowship with God (Psalm 16:11). Satan will not be your problem, when you except the challenge of prayer. Prayer will change you, it illuminates. It will transform the very nature and life style of you career, business, family etc. A man of ANSWER is a man of PRAYER. God ANSWERS PRAYERS – IT IS YOUR COVENANT RIGHT OF GRACE (Psalm 65:2)

Marriage: A Covenant of Grace

Prov. 20:6 ”Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a Faithful man? ”

Prov. 31:10 ”Who can find a Virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies”

Heb. 13:4 ”Marriage is Honourable among all, and the bed undefiled . . .”

Marriage is God’s: A place of reverence, love, faithfulness and trust in His Church. A covenant bestowed with Honour, dignity and integrity. God made it a covenant and not a mere contract, for the good of mankind. Marriage is made to be favourable, admirable and blessed to be a blessing – it’s not a curse or necessary evil. Marriage is made male and female, also, for a man and woman – not for boys and girls. Success in marriage is an act of wisdom – knowledge and understanding – to make it work, endeavouring to maintain it’s worth; It involves falling in love many times and always with the same person; It’s more than finding the right person – it’s being the right person: Looking for a Faithful Man? Are you a Virtuous Woman? Marriage is worth celebrating – there – God bestowed Honour, Dignity and Blessings. Marriage is far more than having a child or children or worldly goods in essence – It’s a covenant of grace for God’s glory. Amen!

Wisdom: Excellency Of Knowledge That Gives Life

Ecclesiastes 7:12 ‘For Wisdom is a defence, and Money is a defence; but the excellency of Knowledge is, that Wisdom gives LIFE  to them that have it”

A man’s foolishness is His own mountain, but the excellency of knowledge – Wisdom – will grant him dominion.  Your dominion in life is a product of your Wisdom – excellency in knowledge. Wisdom is the ability to discern a difference in life issues. Wisdom is a choice in life, you can learn it by humility through mentorship or by pain through mistakes and circumstances of life. This is what gives life to your total well-being. And life is for living they say. You may think there is a problem or crisis in your – Marriage, finance, relationship, business, career, ministry, name it? It is actually not – but only a Wisdom problem – that’s why there is no life and joy but much complains, excuses, bitterness. and blame factors. Ability to discern a difference in life – wisdom – is what gives hope, faith and love into it. Wisdom – Build a house (family); Gives strength; Win wars; Is a defence; Brings happiness; Lengthen ones life; Inherit glory; Is better than weapons of war; Delivers, Gives hope, etc. Please bank on wisdom today, for it will surely resolve and answer that marital crisis – divorce; financial dilemma – bankruptcy; career setback – joblessness; Business failure – closure; relationship stalemate – hopelessness and many others. God gives wisdom, ask Him today! (James 1:5-8)

Achievers Know-how: The Spirit of Dominion

The Achievers know-how spirit of dominion is the synergy of truth that enables one to achieve and be fulfilled in life. The spirit of dominion is not about dominating over people; but about living with the leverage of God’s mandate over things, satanic and cohorts forces that stands as obstacles in our path of freedom and fulfillment; and that gives the wisdom to understand times and make rightful judgement in life decisions.

Ecclesiastes 8:5 “Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.“

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” (AMPLIFIED).

Genesis 1:26-28 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.“

John 13:1-3 “Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him; 3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God“

John 17:1-3 ”These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ”

  • A man’s ignorance is His own mountain, but the knowledge of the truth gives freedom and dominion – John 8:32.
  • Your dominion in life is a product of your knowledge – Daniel 11:32.
  • A man’s value for knowledge determines his ultimate worth – Isaiah 33:6.
  • Knowledge is power, freedom and dominion, while religion is imprisonment  and bondage – Luke 11:52.
  • The grace that determines our status is a function of knowledge – 2 Peter 1:2.
  • When you run after knowledge, goodness and mercy runs after you – Proverbs 1:22, 29-33.
  • People who hate knowledge can’t secure heaven’s favour – Proverbs 13:15.
  • Age is not equal to knowledge, and should not be taken for knowledge – Job. 32:7-9.
  • If your thoughts are not updated, your life will be outdated – Proverbs 24:5.
  • When you add a little MORE knowledge to your life daily, you live a little better – Proverbs 4:18.
  • Whatever you have no value for, you have no access to – Mark. 6:5-6.
  • Studying for knowledge is not a transferable responsibility – 2 Timothy 2:15.
  • The only authentic proof of knowledge is freedom and liberty – John 8:32.
  • When you don’t grow in the spirit of knowledge, you end up groaning in life – 2 Peter 3:8.
  • Those who seek to know men, don’t know God; when you seek to know God, people will seek to know you – Jeremiah 17:5-8; Matthew 6:24.
  • Your knowledge of Jesus makes you absolutely sure of tomorrow – John 17:3; Isaiah 33:6.

The Gospel Ministry – Is about Impartation

Romans 1:11 ”For I long to see you, that I may IMPART to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established”

The Gospel Ministry is the only God’s empowering channel to man’s complete SALVATION.  The impact your life has on people is what is called ministry. Ministry is receiving the WORD from the Lord and handing it over to the people – That is, digging into the deep heart of God, to reach out to men.
The level of Word-impact determines your welfare and level of comfort in Ministry. It is only God’s commission that enjoys His provision – He will only commend and be committed to what He commands and commissioned. Exploit in ministry is in absolute adherence to what is commanded.
Hearing from God is the greatest asset in Ministry – Those who hear from God don’t run around with men. Pastoring is not about knowing the people, it’s feeding the people.

Good Success In Diligence

Proverbs 22:29 ”Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”

Colourful living is not for the lazy, for Success is not for the idle-minded people but the diligent. Diligence – a consistent steady effort or hard work –  is for those who wants to reign as kings. Progress in life calls for the pressing, hence great and established success is recorded on diligent pursuit. Diligence involves investing your abilities, strength and all you have into the pursuit of your mission. God can only prosper the works of your hand, not your calling. He only prospers your calling through prospering your efforts. For IDLENESS is a career and carrier of POVERTY and it has no remedy. Therefore invest in labour and reap the great harvest. Yours is the task of planting and watering, God’s task is to bring the increase and overflow. THINK! Be Blessed!!
